Am back at school. Flights were okay... kinda. The first one was very empty, so no one was sitting next to me nor behind me, and I slept nearly the entire way. :)(Very good since I slept at 1 the night before and had to get up at 4:20 this morning.) The landing was a bit strange through. It felt like the pilot braked in the middle of the landing, causing all the seat belt buckles in the empty seats to jerk forward.
Second flight was very crowded. When we got to the gate at the airport, the walkway thingy (the one that goes from the ticket counter area to the actual plane) wasn't working, so we had to go out onto the ground. It was actually a little funny since the door was so small, there had to be a flight attendant there to remind the tall people to watch their heads.

Yes, people still read your blog. With Xanga and LJ, everything is so exclusive! :(

Am hungry, ate nothing but airplane snacks all day. Yet, I am online before I go cook something to eat. Unfortunately, I got in at 6:35, right after the dining hall closed its doors.

heheheheheeeee, here's what a Hellsing fan wrote about his/her (don't know which) reaction to the van Helsing trailer:
f.) Let me put it this way. Seras, with one Halconnen, will be more effective than that Helsing guy fully equipped plus a giant cross.

It's sad that your former roommate won't be returning this semester. :(

Rooseters are supposed to do something (anything) with dragons, like have a dragon drawing or t-shirt or something. Maybe get a seahorse for a pet? ;)

Must start packing.........

Happy Year of the Monkey!

This being new year's day, they were talking about luck according to the zodiac for this year. I only heard the predictions for the rooster, dog, or pig, which is fine, since most of the people I know are one of those.
Roosters are supposed to have a ho-hum year, with no real losses and no real gains, except for those born in the years 1957 and 1969 who are supposed to have good luck. For better luck, you guys are supposed to do something with dragons.
Dogs are in for a year of changes. Dogs will suffer some health problems, supposedly, but do well in terms of tests or educational matters. Rabbits are supposed to be good for dogs this year, so they suggested wearing clothes with rabbits, or hanging posters of rabbits, or getting a rabbit as a pet (except if you are living with a Rooster, for whom the rabbit will be bad luck).
Pigs - I didn't hear everything, so all I know is that the tiger is good for the pig this year. So pigs were encouraged to get cats for pets. ^..^

Believe as you will, though I think the dog one's a given. Realistically, a large percentage of people graduating college this year will probably be dogs, so yeah, a big change is in store.

I don't know how I get so completely soaked when my nephew pees even though he is wearing a diaper and HIS pants is wet at only one little spot.

Referrers - because I think this is funny: homemade drugs. hahahahaaaa
Also, people looking for Tenimyu stuff/actors.

I really don't understand why my room can be a good 10 degrees colder than every other room in the house. It's even nice and sunny outside.

I think I actually felt the first couple of earthquakes I've felt in years. I usually don't feel them, but yesterday, the walls shook a little twice. I, at first, thought some heavy thing feel on the roof, but later I found out that there had been a small earthquake (and a couple of aftershocks) centered maybe 30 miles from here.

I did not watch the State of the Union (we went out for a family dinner for New Year's), but the clips I saw on various news shows afterwards, I must say, Bush is an idiot. An idiot and a liar. What's this about job growth???? Complete bull.
A constitutional amendment to protect the "sanctity of marriage" from gays marriage? What about people like Britney Spears and other people who marry for maybe a year, a couple of months before getting a divorce? Idiot.
Tax cut my ass. As much as I hate getting money taken out of my paycheck, I don't see how the hell he's going to make up the deficit by cutting taxes (mostly for the rich, I might add).

I swear I'm losing my hair. It's ridiculous.

Finally got my W-2s today. The government took so much of my money.....

For the last few days now, every time I come out of the bathroom, my cat is there, sitting on a chair, waiting for me to come out and feed him. It's amazing. He's never around when I go into the bathroom, but he's always there when I come out.

I think all dentists have this secret pact to endorse ordothontistry (word?) as much as possible. When I went to my dentist, he tried again to convince me that I should get braces. He says that I should see if the med school I go to next year (yeah, he knows lots about me; he's been my dentist for maybe 12 years now) has a dentistry school and see if I could get braces from the school for cheap. I admit to having bad teeth, but it's not like you can really see how bad they are unless I open my mouth pretty wide...... Anyway, I don't really want braces.

Minna No Oujisama

Download at this nice fan page. You navigate using the tennis balls above the board.

Are your family coming in from the Philippines? In which case, 1000 dollars/person wouldn't be that much.... Still a lot of money though.

Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

It seems like now most of my blog-stalking have turned into LJ-stalking. Not all though. Personally, I like the blogs better because they usually have such layouts and such. On the other hand, LJ has the nice little comments feature that I can use to really stalk you guys..... hahahah

Gripe about Microsoft Word: Why do the AutoSave and AutoRecovery functions neither save nor recover anything? The stupid AutoSave function crashes the program every once in a while and AutoRecover never manages to recover anything. Also, it is so annoying when it AutoFormats things that REALLY don't need formatting. (yes, I know I can turn it off, but it's a pain to turn it on/off every time I want to use my bro's comp.)

Been babysitting for the last two days. I wish my nephew weren't such a brat. Cute, but obnoxiously loud.

Family is making tentative plans for graduation. It'll be EXPENSIVE!!!! Geez. Anyway, my plane tickets back are for the day right after graduation.... we'll see if that stays as the plan.

Was watching Japanese television last night. I like Kochira Hon-Ikegami Sho. It's a fun series. Very, very predictable, but fun predictable. Like yesterday's episode, the guy (police officer) was chasing a thief. The thief throws something at him, and he gets hurt because he didn't think the woman would be able to throw something that far or that hard or something. He keeps searching only to find a passerby (a very feminine looking passerby) who said he didn't see any woman. Then the chief asks him twice if he was sure that it was a woman, and he's certain, blah blah blah.
Of course, it turns out that the thief was a man (or technically, a high school boy). And how did they find out? Because the heels on her shoes were broken and that's how the chief figured out that it was a man because a man wouldn't know that the heel on high-heels could be fixed easily.
Uh, obviously I am not a good woman for not knowing that either.
Then the show does the Furuba thing! The detective who's husband was killed tells her secret grief to the man who wants to marry her: she apparently didn't tell her husband to be careful the morning he got killed so she thinks it was her fault. yup yup yup yup yup.

SOS Dead or Alive was funny too. At least this time I wouldn't have died as many times as I did the first time I saw the show.

Okay, how stupid is it that I have a hold on my records because the school hasn't gotten the money from my federal loan? It's not like I control when the government sends them the money....

Apparently, the show we were at aired yesterday? I caught a glimpse when I was watching Yugioh (this show cracks me up with its excessively bad dubbing). I think, from the commercial, that the extra part with the dude doing the mixing will air today.

Gah. I finally realized that to clear Fudomine I had to clear all four stages in one sitting. Anyway, I now need to beat the Hyoutei game. You have to hit the ball back 100 times. I was at 96 when Sakaki lobs one, and I missed it because I didn't know where I was. :( I wish I understood Dabide's puns.

The newspaper (Chinese) had a 8 page spread on Anita Mui's funeral on Monday. It seems like the funeral was basically a who's who of Hong Kong pop culture. They held a really nice picture of her which I think came from one of her albums. *sigh*

Geez... I'd say I was surprised at what your brother said, but I'm not. *sigh*
I wonder if we didn't go to W, would people still think that? It's like the PoT boys..... if there were more (BETTER) female characters, would it still be as widely assumed that all the boys are gay? (probably, but there would probably be more (non-shudder inducing het pairings, which I would stick to more like I do with Hellsing).
Anyway, you're not nice to me. :P
I think your parents might not think that if they knew the real me and not the quiet me. *cackle*

I see something about Souta, Takigawa, Konishi, and someone whose name I don't know yet (Edit: Tachibana's actor) on Kime's column. Something about the musical....
Tickets for Kimeru's live sold out quickly. That probably means that if I ever get to visit Japan, I'll never be able to get to the perfrmances since they sell the tickets in advance. *sigh*

Minna no Oujisama - I like this game a lot. :)Tezuka's hard in the Seigaku game! I love Fuji's cackle and the picture of him fainting from Aozu whenever the opponent does something to him. I will probably never, ever play the St. Rudolph game ever again. Akutsu is such a funny evil bastard! I have to go through all of the Rhythm Rhythm Revolution to unlock Hyoutei, I guess. hehehehe

Congratulations!!!!!!!!
to Tam-Linh on grad school!!
So we'll probably not end up at the same school then? :(

So yeah, Sharon Osbourne. Um, Poundcake, which part is making you so surprised?

Yeah, so the Greyhound ride to SB....
I got on the bus, and there seemed to be some seats empty in the back. So I headed back there, but there were two people (who were friends) ahead of me, so they took both the empty rows. Boo. You're friends, can't you sit together?
Anyway, I ended sitting next to this man who starts talking to me and pretty much telling me the story of his life.
Soo..... apparently, he just got out of federal prison just on Thursday. He had been in there for 13 years for doing drugs and robbing banks. Previous to that, he had been in state prison, as well as served time in Oregon.
He asked me what my major was (so I DON'T look like a kid!) and I told him, and he told me about how he know someone who made speed and got 40 years for that. Damn. Looks like no homemade drugs for me......
He then pulls out some pills (which he said are legal.....) and pulls out a lighter and heated them a little. Don't know what he did with the pills though...... he also pulls out all these meds that he has to put on or take because apparently, sun does weird things to his skin.
Other story, he knew somebody who had robbed 87 banks before getting caught and they gave him 87 years for that. He said that robbing banks were addictive; it becomes a habit. So for all you people out there considering bank-robbing, you might want to take that into account.... hehehehe
Then the guy across the aisle asked him about the fed prison, because he had been in state. Apparently, it is much cheaper to buy stuff in the fed pen than in state pen because you don't pay taxes. Something like a pack of cigarettes cost 4.50 in state and 1.99 in fed. yeah....
Also, the guy from the state pen had a pair of pants that didn't fit. It didn't completely cover his ass..... I so did not need to see that.... Completely worthy of this face: >_<
the dude I sat next to asks me if guy who was sitting in front of us was "oriental" and I said I didn't know. (too dark in the bus) He said he wanted to ask him if he could use his cell phone, which he later asked and did use.
Dude also told me about his family and kids, and how he had to be back in two days to meet his parole officer. Then how the last time he took the bus, he got kicked off because he brought a beer.
Oh yes, he also talked about how he was getting offered a job delivering contact lenses, how he had gotten stinking drunk the last two nights, and how tired he was because he hadn't had any sleep in three nights.
Yeah.... so like I said it was in interesting ride. Very, very, very, very strange.

Okay.... so let's start off with this:

Thank you!!!
to you + family for letting me stay, you + family for the tours (by the end, I think I knew my way around your neighboorhood better than somebody who recently moved there....), and "Bennifer" for the trip. It was fun, and I had lots of interesting experiences.

Um, okay, so what we did:

Sharon Osbourne Show
Was a bit boring. I think mainly because the warm-up guy wasn't exactly funny. More like annoying. I think it might have been more fun if they just put the dogs in the middle of the set during commercial breaks and made them do tricks or if they pooped on the set or something. Very manufactured. By the end, I didn't even do the standing ovation thing because I was tired. hehehe
It was an interesting experience, though, no? Fuji Shuunsuke, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Beatrix Potter.

Saw the Farmer's Market where we had dinner on TV yesterday. Not sure what show it was, but it had a bunch of people shopping and some guy throwing a little hissy fit. Just weird.

Walk of Fame
The first group of break-dancers were fun to watch. Kept thinking "Ooooh, so that's what Yanagi was trying to do (unsuccessfully)." I still think that the short guy was a little kid.
The other acts were pretty boring.
Mann's Chinese theater
Wow those women have tiny feet. How do they balance themselves on that little surface area???

Will write about the Greyhound ride later, because that was THE interesting experience of the trip.

So, PoT 115. Got to watch it at MJ's place. I think it deserved a WTF. WTF???? Strange, strange, strange. I agree with everyone who said that the story writers have run out of ideas. Let's hope that while they were doing this weird stuff, they were spending time doing quality animation and quality script-writing for the Rikkai arc.

20.5 is interesting too. So many strange, random, but funny things.
Kimeru! heheheh, that picture on the back CRACKS me up!!!! Too bad that bookstore is closing, otherwise, you might be able to get the Popbeat with him. :(

Minna no Oujisama
Fun game!! hehehehe. I like Seigaku's game because I like Tetris-like games. I hate St. Rudolph's because I suck at those picture puzzle games. Fudomine's game is the keyboard version of DDR, which is pretty easy when playing on my slow old computer. :D Since the GBA emlator only runs at about 50%, it goes nice and slow. Watch me die if I play this on one of the lab computers back at school. Will have to try Yamabuki's, and I have to unlock Hyoutei too.

So yeah, after much going back and forth on this, I'm now almost 100% sure I will be going to visit you two. I do, however, have to beg a ride off of one of you to the bus station. I don't know when they are planning to leave Sunday, but most likely I will have to take either the 6:40AM bus or the 10:35AM bus. I will have to look up the exact times when I get there.
Yeah, sorry to be so flaky over this, but I'm the type of person who needs to plan things out. You know, the obsessive-compulsive in me demands it.

Anyway, yesterday was interesting. Met some people from luvcoco's love boat trip. Eh.... can't say I remember their names (I'm horrible with names), but one of them spent 15 minutes in the bathroom washing his hands? Yeah, I'm beginning to think I'm not so obsessive-compulsive.
Also, interesting waiters.

Have to share this referrer: "download + kimeru seiyuu".
"Kimeru seiyuu"??????? I'm hoping they're talking about some random character named Kimeru and not Kime.
The geek in me wants to share this as well: Someone accessed this page with Netscape 3. Wow.
And what the heck is a blocked referrer?

Am meeting up with "Bennifer" later today.

Got my tickets to go back to school. Gah, money flying out the window. *sniff sniff* Will be returning on the 25th. Now how am I going to get from the airport back to the dorm without going through Airporter? 33 dollars is absolutely ridiculous, but if it's snowing, I don't know how much I want to take the commuter rail.

I feel very strange for wanting to file my tax return now. But I want my money back! Waiting for those W-2's to come in.
