Last entry of the year. :)

Finals are finished, and they were bad.
Flying across the country tomorrow. Hoping for safe and punctual flights!

Listening to *pnish*のパニックスタジオ right now. It's strange how the song at the end on Rainbow Village gets stuck in my head. I feel like I know this song as well as some of Kimeru's new songs. :D

Happy holidays and Happy New Year everyone!

Because the other place is down....

We were supposed to have two lectures by one prof this morning, but she was out with the stomach flu so we had two different lecturers. This is okay, but halfway through the first lecture, the fire alarm went off.
The thing is, there's no alarm in the auditorium, so all we heard was a soft "beep beep beep ring". The course leader went to check if it was a fire alarm or what and was told that we did not have to evacuate. So 10 more minutes later, this security guy comes into the room, looks at us, and yells "Why are you here? It's a condition 1-3; you're supposed to leave!"
>< Make up your mind already! (by the way, like we know what 1-3 means! :P It apparently means fire, by the way.)
So we leave (poor applicants, they were so confused) and waited for 1 hour for the fire department/security to clear us. There was a fire, but it was on the 6th floor. Considering that this is a med center, evacuation is avoided for most cases. They have a lot of things in place to prevent fire from spreading (the doors automatically close and metal comes down over windows, etc) so technically, we weren't supposed to evacuate because that left several hundred people in the atrium and halls. We were more of a hazard there.....
A few of my classmates and I were in one area, and the rest was in another. The dumbest thing was that they told us that we could go back in, so we did, but once we were in, they told us they hadn't cleared everything yet and we had to leave. Then they made us wait in the hall for 20 minutes, and when we got back to the auditorium, we found out that the half of the class was already inside because security didn't block the other stairway. Ummmm
To top it off, the first years were in anatomy lab at the time. They too were told not to leave....

I should have just gone back to the apartment for a nap.

The rest of the day, I was helping out with a charity auction we were throwing for a local women's shelter. The person organizing the event is a person from my group, which I've spoken of before. Let's say this, if you want things to go smoothly, don't antagonize the heads of your committees! I mean, we're all doing this for the organization, so everyone wants things to work out. Still, if we were less civil.....
I'm happy that the dish I brought back from Japan went for 5 times the price I paid for it. (^__^)b

I got back at 8pm and went to sleep.... no dinner except for the hors d'oeurves that we had at the event, so I'm hungry now.
No food at 3am though! no eating!

Wasshi! Stop talking about food!!!!!!!
Hotta's head is a lot of fun, it seems. (MMV Diary pics from a couple weeks ago)

Thanksgiving is coming on fast, and I have yet to start even thinking about studying for the exam next week. Oh the joys of procrastination.

*pnish* news: Tuti's Kyoudai Donburi starts next week.
Angela also starts next week. Eizee's hair is very long.
Daiki's movie project. Need more info!
Wasshi will be appearing 12/29 at TONES night vol. 3.
Then of course, Burimyu with E and T.

I want Kime's album soon. I wish he'd release Voyage. I've heard such good things about it.

Jiroh-san is doing his dance stuff. I really wished that he had more dancing in the first myu. I liked his silly villain dance a lot!

So, who wants to see Angela Princess of Pirates? Me, of course. I want to see Eiji-san and Shinoda in clothes of the pirate age! I want to think that Eiji-san is trying to look like Johnny Depp, but doesn't anymore since his wig is the wrong color. I want to see Shinoda's longish hair! I want to see if Angela can kick some ass!!!! :D
Ohhh, can't wait for Kime's CDs to come out. December is such a long time away.

Sometimes I just have to wonder. For my current course, I am in a group with some people with, shall we say, strong personalities.
Which is a really nice way of saying people who (as individuals) can be really exasperating to speak with, but can be nice and generally tolerable.
In a room together, they make you want to tear your hair out and gag them with it.
This is the reaction I get when people see who is in my group: O_O Oh wow. You poor thing. I'm so sorry.
Makes me wonder if these people, actually, one specific person, the others are on the more tolerable end of the spectrum, know how other people react to them. I'd think it would be hard to miss something like that.

Makes me wonder if anyone finds me that unbearable.
I think not, but still, I wonder.

I am beginning to REALLY hate the US Postal Service. The book I sent to MJ by First Class still isn't there after 2 weeks, and the book I had sent to me by Priority still isn't here after 1 week (Priority should be 2-3 days). WTF
What's the point of me spending extra money for shipping IF IT DOESN'T GET HERE ON TIME???

Am pissed. Yes I am.

I don't want to study anymore!!!!!!!!!!

I don't I don't I don't. >_<
waaaahhh

Ummm, please be aware that I check this place maybe once every 2 weeks.... To the spammers to the tab-board..... maybe you want to find a tagboard for a site that more 5 people will see? geez.... common sense there

Okay, that was a WEIRD referrer: hellsing music for neopets........ I like Hellsing music, but it doesn't really go with Neopets. I don't think TNT would like Hellsing very much, not with its Nazis, bloody killings, and Alucard ripping the heads off of people and all.....
Oh wait, make that half of the heads since he really only got like to maybe the bridge of the nose.
And don't forget the impalings. Gotta love the impalings.

All this studying's gone and made me insane.

Whooo, pre-ordered Kimeru's upcoming CD with DVD. yay.

Also getting *pnish*'s photobook, and am also contemplating Yanagi's book. I'm not so sure about Yanagi's because although I like the boy, I'm not crazy obsessed with him. Now, if Kime would make a book.....

Kimeru's new songs - Answer Will Come and Stand Up. Of the two, I actually like Answer Will Come better! Most other people like Stand Up better. Anyway, I don't think I like these as much as I did Pleasure of Love and Pink, but still, they're fun.

First exam of the year is now over. How did it go? Hell if I know.

I would just like to do a little advertising for CDJapan.
Why am I plugging them?
I've bought from them three times now. They are pretty fast... I got my order within 10 days, and that was by regular air mail. It was less than 7 days after the release date for one order.
You get points for each purchase that you can actually use towards your next purchase (ie, you don't have to save up 10000 points before you redeem them). Each point is worth 1 yen, so you have to use them in 100 yen increments.
Finally, they sent me a free poster with my last order. Not just any poster, but a promo poster of the artist whose CD I just bought. Something I can definitely not get without being in Japan.

Yup, yup, so I am right now pretty happy with them. :D

So obviously I haven't been updating here often enough. Don't even know what's going on in my own blog..... covert meetings or something. :P

Back at school, doing neurology. OMG, it's like I can't even tell you how much stuff there is to remember. All I have to say is thank god I took Latin in high school.

My K's Ark Live DVD came in today!!!!! LOVE FOR KIMERU. Too bad I have to wait for free time to watch it. :( Stupid life interfering with my fangirling. *shakes fist at life*

Currently in love with One Piece. Oda-sensei, I looooooooooooove you! Now hurry up and get on with the story already.

hahhaa, I realized I never even put my Zipper babble up! Wow, two posts in one day. I've filled my quota for the month. ^_~ Anyway, musical theatre = love.
I think I have their names wrong....
There is a wardrobe on the stage. There is also a screen in the backdrop.
The show starts off with Tuti's voice coming over the sound system. He advertises for Microdiet. He walks down the aisle away from us (-_-). He and Wasshi both head down the aisle, both wearing suits. Tuti talks a bunch about Microdiet, saying that they will be selling it at all the exits to the theatre. He also advertises for the pamphlets, posters, and t-shirts. XD
I don't remember why, but they walk around apologizing to people. Wasshi stops at our row, right in front of us. If I had been a bad fan (but good fangirl), I could have reached out and grabbed him or something. That might have scared him though. XDDDD Anyway, we got a very close-up view of him. ^_____________^
Eiji and Daiki then enter from the same aisle. They are wearing pink jumpsuits with a monkey on the back. Daiki goes around shaking people's (some very happy fangirls and some man) hands and pretends to take someone's drink. Wasshi's still standing near us, saying sumimasen.

They go on stage and do a little performance - magic trick and Daiki being weird. He doesn't talk at all, and he keeps lifting his leg and making others hold it up by putting their hand under his knee. Sounds weird.... but I don't know how to describe it.
I forget what happened exactly, but Daiki and Wasshi both end up being sucked into the wardrobe on the stage.

The actual show starts. Two of the women (Asoh and Kazama) and the two not-so-kakkoii dancers start dancing. The not-so-kakkoii dancers are really good dancers - trained in at least Jazz and modern, if not more. The women are too. It's hip hop, and it looks like the two guys are with the two women. The *pnish* members show up. They do their dance, lots of pani signature moves. Makes me wonder if they have any other moves ^_~ Oh yeah, I have to mention this: they (at least Eiji) kept flipping off the audience! At first, I wasn't sure, but since he did it several more times, I'm certain he was sticking up his middle finger at us! XD
Anyway, it was like a fight between the 6 guys, and ended with pani guys chasing away the guys and then harassing the women. It was kinda funny. Two pani guys would surround one woman and start dancing at them..... the kind of dancing you might expect if you were an attractive single woman in a bar filled with drunkening aggressive men who think they are the best thing that ever happened to the female sex. The women looked frightened and disturbed, but I'm sure that some pani fans would have paid good money to be those two at that moment.............
The women run off. *pnish* run off the stage from the four corners and just sat on the stairs for a while (ie, they were at the gray areas in the pic above, right in front of some very excited audience members). Tuti slipped a little bit on the steps, but didn't fall.
[Slight tangent on outfits - The women and non-pnish guys were wearing hip hop clothes. Pani guys were in black with little bits of red. Tuti was the closest to us when he went off stage, so I got a good look at his outfit. His pants were ripped all up and down the legs, and he wore a hat with a feather in it. ^__^ I'll also mention that Daiki was wearing a ripped shirt that looked like it was made for the PoT anime.... that is, it rode up everytime he jumped. That boy is pale!!] anyway, in person, they look like they do in good pictures.... so I guess when they don't look so great, it's because of bad photography! Eiji does look older though.
The women return back on stage, carrying a white body bag. They exit again, and Irie (the last woman) comes out of the bag.

Did I forget anything from that scene??

Next scene has Irie as Asako. Fugu can fill in the dialog and what actually happened, but here's what it looked like:
Asako has some paper that she reads. pani guys, still at the gray areas, place some stools onto the stage. Asako has several white objects that she places on these stools. Each time she puts something on a stool, the pani guy nearest to the stool would stand up and stare at the object like it was an treasure. The objects were a white pair of shoes, a knife, a letter, some sheet music, a vase, and something else that I can't remember right now.
This all happens with only Irie on stage, so you only see what happened to Asako: Someone knocks on the door, and Asato lets them in. They talk, and then the phantom person takes something that Asako wants back. They argue. Asako picks up the knife and accidentally cuts the person. Asako then gets beaten up by the person, and she runs out of her home. When she is offstage, you hear a car screeching, then hitting something.

Next scene, you see the other person. The person is also played by Irie, and it was Asako's sister, Mizuharu. She came to borrow money from Asako. Finding the letter, she picks it up and Asako tries to take it back. She starts beating on Asako after being cut by the knife. She lets Asako run off, and then you hear the car sounds.

Here's where I started thinking "When is intermission????? I need to go to the bathroooooooooooommmmmmm!!!!" Therefore, in addition to not understanding what they were saying, I was really distracted, so this is probably even more inaccurate than the stuff above.
By the way, intermission was almost another hour away. ;____; Don't ever let me drink tea before a show, ever. I even went to the bathroom 5 minutes before the show started.

Next scene, it is the funeral. Mizuharu is now pretending to be Asako. As Fugu explained to me, Asako had money and a good reputation, so Mizuharu wanted her life. One of Asako's friends Toei (Kazama) is talking to Mizuharu. More dialog I didn't understand. Asoh enters as Yuko pretending to be a Filipino (????) woman who says she has spiritual powers. She summons Mizuharu's spirit, and for a couple of seconds, Mizuharu (as Asako) loses control of her actions.

Flashback to the past, to Asako's childhood. She meets Toei and Yuko. They danced and sang.... I was, um, very distracted by this time, so I hope Fugu remembers more than I do. More than you ever needed to know..... errr, moving on.
At one point, they tell ghost stories.
The dancing and singing were really nice. The not-so-kakkoii dancers came back and danced too.
It ended with one of the women getting naked.......

Okay, end of intermission.
The three ladies come on stage and talk about Microdiet. ^____^ Very amusing. They talk about what they drink and such. They also talked about posing for the pamphlet.

So, more dancing by the women, some dancing by the not-so-kakkoii dancers. Okay, about the not-so-kakkoii dancers. It wasn't that they weren't awesome or anything, but well, they're not the pnish guys! heheheee Seriously though, Fugu and I talked about how those two were on stage for as long as, or more than, *pnish*, but the pani guys had higher billing. As dancers, they are better than the pani guys.... so since pnish were the kakkoii dancers, they became the not-so-kakkoii dancers! (so bad, so baaaaaaaad)
Anyway, they really did dance well. At one point, the two had a dance where they were handcuffed to each other...........

So, there was great confusion on my part, and I honestly don't think I can explain the plot here. It involved several twists, and I will divert all questions to Fugu for this. Hopefully, she will have time to fangirl aftergetting some rest.
For now, the basic story was that the "Mizuharu" is really still Asako, and Asako was actually an only child. Her friends say that she has been acting weird ever since moving into this apartment, and apparently someone named Mizuharu had died in this apartment.

Then the fun! Some horror things, with Mizuharu popping out from underneath the stage, grabbing Toei and pulling her in. A head with long hair pops out of the wardrobe. It was hilarious...... Toei and Yuko try to cleanse the apartment, putting rice on the corners, etc. but Toei gets pulled under the stage.
At one point, Tuti plays a salesman showing the apartment to Eiji. They find weird things in there like a charm, the light starts going out, and the rice (which Tuti kicks over while wearing socks! ~I notice weird things, okay?~)
Then the lights go off, and the spirit appears in random places around the stage. A little bit of water comes down from the ceiling. The spirit is shown climbing through Tuti's torso...... it was funny.

The two not-so-kakkoii dancers play doctors to Asako, who I would guess is schizophrenic. I don't know. I'm not even sure of the order here. Asako sings again. It ends with everyone coming on stage singing "I will follow him" in English, though I couldn't figure out the words.

At the end, when we left, we passed by someone who looked familiar..... I thought maybe Ueshima-sensei, but I can't be certain.

Then, in the lobby, M and D were selling the Zipper t-shirts! We didn't buy it though, but W and T were handing out MD samples!! Fugu got hers from W. He might have been very eager to get rid of his samples because he was going to give me one too, but he had trouble getting it off his wrist, so I grabbed the one Tuti had all ready. :D See, if they had a pnish autographed box of the stuff, I'd would have bought it!

All in all, the women were the ones who were the best! I don't fangirl about them here, but they really were AWESOME. The dancers were great too. I think I just love musical theatre in general.

Long time no update. Been in Japan for the last month. Went to *pnish* last weekend. Here's a report. ^________________^
I gave myself time to get lost, which I did, and got to the venue around 5. I actually wanted to get there earlier so I could get the goods, but I was having a very bad day with maps..... Anyway, got there and there was already a small crowd. I confused one of the staff when I asked what the sign said and if I could go get the goods, but he explained it a little and let me up.
I bought ¥40400 worth of goods....... and the salesgirl looked at me like I was crazy. lol The thing is, I didn't even get the DVDs/tapes I wanted. They were all sold out! Shoulda planned to get there at 4.....

There were massive amounts of girls there, and some older women. They started lining us up at 5:30; doors opened at 6:00. The lining up process was not very well done. It was very hot and humid, and we were all packed into a little area. They were letting people in 10 people at a time! A sold-out event with 1200 tickets.... They let all the A group in then the B group. I was in the B group, so I didn't get called until close to 6:30. Stood in line for a while.

I don't know if it's just me or if the Japanese fans are just that respectful, but I could have sworn Shinoda and a friend walked by and no one else seemed to notice. He was walking down the stairs while we were going up. I was the only one who stared at them.... Anyway, he was telling his friend that he was impressed by the amount of people..... I'm guessing.
His friend looked familiar too, and if I had to guess, I would think it was the guy who played Atsushi. Anyway, Shinoda's a skinny skinny boy. Skinny......
As we walked in, they gave us a small pink pom pom. XD
The VIP seats were up top, but I didn't see any of the VIPs while we walked by. When I was downstairs, I saw a few women up there, so no one I recognized.

So actual event: I was way in the back, so I didn't have a good view. Also, I have a bad memory, so no real chronological order here.

There were at least 2 cameras and 2 screens. It started off with someone telling us to shut off phones/cameras/etc. Then a few minutes later, the curtain on the side opened and reviewed some guy in a suit and top hat. He's the MC for the evening, Sho-san (later he said his name was Maruyama Sho, I think). We sing Happy Birthday to pnish.

Then *pnish*!
The guys come out in black suits and start dancing. The stuff that you'd recognize if you watched the clips they used to have on the HP. I was thoroughly impressed because they danced for like 15 minutes in their suits, and it was HOT. I understand why they sweat so much now.....
At one point, they pull off their ties and starts unbuttons their shirts. The fangirls scream, but hahaha, doesn't go beyond a few buttons. Eiji kept trying to pull up his collar and look cool. XD
It was very *pnish*. :) :) :)
Some talking, but well, you already know I have no idea what is was about. If there are JP reports, I'd love to know. They introduce themselves, Daiki as Daikkichan, Wasshi as Wassan, Tuti as Tuti, and Eiji as Moriyama Eiji... XD Well, he went first, so maybe he didn't think to be weird yet.

They disappeared for a little while, and Sho-san introduces the first clip, History 1.
Footage from the previous pnish events, starting with RokuAkuTou.... including a scene with someone in their f------- *insert fangirl's gasps here* I didn't see who it was though. Also the scene where Eiji-san shows a lot of leg *insert more fangirls' gasps here* LOL. Then MOX clip, and back and back and back. Then at the end of History 1, they flashed kiddy pictures of the members!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (see pamphlet cut) Very brief flashes, but awwwww, so cute!

Tuti comes out in his RokuAkuTou costume, with a sword! He talks about stuff. Then, Eiji comes out as Zankimaru!!!!!!!!!! They have a funny exchange. Eiji reminded me of Momoshiro, actually. Then, Tuti pulls out his sword and slashes Zanki, who runs off stage.
Next is Daiki! He's dressed in his Panic Age costume, as Jay(?). Flashy... He says he is the tensai magician! He also had that stuffed animal thingy with him. They talk, while Daiki makes the stuffed animal thing move like it's alive and squirming. Tuti slashes him too, and as he runs off the stage, Daiki throws the animal into the audience. Some lucky fangirl has it now.
Wasshi's turn, and he is in his Panic Cafe costume as Waiter! here is where I really, really wish I understood Japanese because Wasshi kept making Tuti come out of character and laugh. It was quite funny to see Tuti turn and fight it off every so often. Alas, poor Waiter is slashed as well.
Then Eiji and Daiki return as Blue and Red Rangers! Talk talk, almost fight, Tuti slashes Red. Then he calmly says something to Blue, looks like he was reasoning with him. Then he slashes Blue as well.
Then, can you guess who's next? omg, the love. Yes, it's Wasshi as Shizuka!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD Tuti's like, "Shizuka! it's me, Doraemon!" Shizuka doesn't recognize him, so Tuti pulls off his clothes *insert fangirls' screams here* and reveals his pink pnish t-shirt (by Nagayan) and the yellow pnish on vol3 pants. But Shizuka still doesn't recognize him! So he pulls out his blue towel and puts it on. XDDDDDDDDDDD If I remember correctly though, Shizuka had already left the stage. ^_~

Later, Daiki does a few "nya" sounds (and the fans around me kept saying kawaii!) and they all try to get Tuti to do it. He resists, but eventually, he does it. A nya, with two head rolls (imagine a cat licking his paw, then cleaning his head with the paw), and the pose. *so* adorable
There was a History 2 clip, with footage from their older stuff, their street perfomances, and dance contests! (random tidbit/stalker fodder: the caption at the bottom of the screen said Dance Contest 2001 in ZAMA) They looked so young! It was so cute.

They did some dances I have never seen before.... but using many of the moves that you'd expect from them. I am mighty impressed by Daiki's jump in person. Some acrobatics. :)
In one of the dance segments, they were dancing and for some reason, Tuti, Wasshi, and Daiki pull off their shirts while Eiji-san runs off stage. Can you imagine the fangirls here? Scary. XD Only a few seconds of fanservice though, because the wind sound effects come on, and they start shivering. Eiji runs back on stage in a yellow-orange top and throws it to them. They pull it on, and Bruce Lee music comes on. They imitate him for a few seconds and then line up in the front of the stage and pull off a panel revealing the kanji for turtle (kame?). Cue Dragonball theme and they dance. They end with a pose. :)

There was one clip from some old performance where they were in full power rangers costumes. Think old sentai from the 1990s. At one of the talking segments, they talked about the first time they used the color theme. I don't know if I got the right idea but I think Wasshi used to be pink??? If I remember correctly, there was no green ranger! Anyway, pink is a girl, right? XD

At one point, they talk to Sho-san. The four of them gather at that side of the stage, and Daiki was behind Tuti and Wasshi. He kept jumping up to look over Tuti and pushing his way between the two, but Tuti kept pushing him away! (more fangirls going kawaii!)

They announced that there is a special guest! Fangirls go crazy.... who will it be? It's 乙三 Ossan! (me: who???? who's Sho-san for that matter???)
ossan-live.com
They are some band, and I honestly have no clue how they are related to pnish. Friends? partners? huh?
Anyway, they play a song for pnish. (pani pani pani pani pani pani pnish!) Not really a huge fan of the vocal, but it was interesting. Brass band meets rock type stuff. Then they played a song called kinyoubi.

Announcements! Daiki solo live! Eiji on Rajipuri! Lotto and Numbers! Something that I would love to know more about.... Wasshi and HunterXHunter? I have no clue what they said, but the fangirls were excited. Then, the big thing:
*pnish* hon! (aka, *pnish* photobook!!!!!) They gave out flyers at the end, I think it'll be call "*pnish* is on yourside". Really tempted to tell them that it should be "your side"..... They talked about the settings for the pictures, and Wasshi suggested Fuji-san. (See panisuta later.)

The last dance, they were in their pink suits. wheeeee!!!! Somehow, the suits are darker than I thought they would be. They wore black shirts underneath. :)

Ossan and Sho-san bring out a birthday cake for pnish. :) It was really cute, Daiki and Tuti cried. Daiki was real obvious about it. Wasshi and Eiji, well..... that was either sweat or tears under their eyes. I couldn't tell. ^^; When they brought out the cake, the candles went out before the guys could go and blow it out.

Handshake event. Gah, fangirl mob! scary scary I was being pushed around quite a bit. The worst ones were the older ladies.... one kept glaring at me everything I moved forward. The sad thing is, I moved forward because I got shoved from behind, lost my balance, and had to take a step from falling. >< Anyway, whatever. They told us no pictures, but I saw one fan take one during the show.
The actual handshake part was quite short. We walked by, they said thank you, and we were rushed away after shaking their hands. Tuti gave me a slightly weird look since I said thank you and congratulations in English. :D Anyway, very nice firm handshakes. XD

I'll have to give up the illusion that they are tiny. They aren't huge, but they're not tiny.

Overall, so much fun. I wished so much that I understood Japanese.

I completely forgot! They sang..... they're better off just dancing, but they sang!!!!

I also wish I could post pictures of the book. Such prettiness. Pictures from past performances, and omg, kiddy pictures! one each of the 4 of them. Daiki and Tuti looks the same. XD Eiji should have picked a better picture... and little Wasshi had such skinny little legs.
There were some pictures of their hands lighting candles. If you don't already know, guess what adjectives they used.... like, Eiji's was, well, no surprise here, "sexy hand".
The last picture is of Daikichan freaking out.... he does that a lot, doesn't he? lol
Plus, the guys in suits with their colors. Very nice.
I actually think the wrist band is pretty cute, if horribly pink.....
The bag is nice and simple. Black with a pink *pnish* on one side.

Then, I head back to hotel to drop off the toys and to sit in the air conditioning for a few moments. Headed for Kameido, giving myself time to get lost, which I didn't! Watched the show before Panisuta, and wow, that girl's voice cannot get any more high-pitched.... actually, I was very disturbed by how cutesy she sounded.

Then, 4:55 rolls around, and they leave the stage. *pnish* comes on, and it's all 4 of them! Some girls brought the pompoms, and some brought the wristbands. Daiki's wearing the wristband, and he held up his arm and showed it off. The fans did the same back to him, and he kept doing it throughout the show.
I think the dental care was the theme of the day, because they each have a bag of toothbrushes with them! Actually, Daiki had his bag under his shirt, and when he first went on stage, he was patting his stomach like a pregnant woman. Then he pulls out the bag when they reveal the toothbrushes. I think they donated them?

Anyway, Eiji kept saying it was hot. They asked who had been at HapiPani, and about 1/2 of us raised our hands.
They sat Tuti, Wasshi, Eiji, Daiki. Tuti at one point rolls towards the end of the stage... hehehee, rolling chairs are too much fun. Tuti kept punching Wasshi in the arm. XD His arm even got a big red spot. Tuti punched him again, and he turns to Tuti. Then Eiji smacks him in the other arm and tells him to pay attention. Poor guy! hehheeeeee
The songs they played were Ossan, Ibu Shinji's Can See the Light, Black Eye Peas, and Gackt (me: Gakuto? There's a singer named Gakuto? ooooh, Gackt!) It was so cute to see them move to the music. Tuti to Ossan, Wasshi to Can See the Light, Daiki to Gackt.

Obviously, have no idea what they were saying, but after the show go to the front of the stage and talked to the crowd for 15 minutes. Tuti apologized for the handshake event yesterday being so impersonal. He apologized for the fact that they were losing their voices at the end and was tired of standing. (He acted this part out. ^_^) They plugged their stuff again, like Daiki's solo and the photobook. Then, they talked about where they would go for the shoots, and again Wasshi says Fuji-san! Eiji says it will be yama to *pnish*! Then he says they should go to an onsen.
........................
Wow, the comments that can go with that.

Tuti's legs, by the way, are so long. Maybe because Wasshi's pants were baggy, but Tuti's legs looked like they were about 6 inches longer than Wasshi's. Tuti's pants weren't baggy at all, and you could see how long and thin they were.

Then they leave the stage, but Wasshi and Daiki runs back on. They forgot their bags! lol As they walk off again, the fans yell at Wasshi, and he's clueless as to why. It's because somebody (Tuti) left a bottle on the table, and they're telling him to get it. He gives an exasperated look, but grabs it for Tuti anyway. :D
They run off, no meeting fans, but Tuti and Daiki come back for a few seconds. Then off again. No pictures, unfortunately. They announced it before they went on stage. I should have just pretended not to understand and taken one anyway, but they probably wouldn't believe me. The Rainbowtown people were taking a lot of pictures though, and I want to see them!!

Am currently in Japan, sweating away any water I take in. O_O

Have been here for one week, and jetlag has not gone away at all. I fall asleep around 9:30-10 and wake up at 2:30-3:30 in the morning. I then fall back sleep around 5 or 6am and get up around 7:30am.
Needless to say, I am dead tired.

Tomorrow will be exciting, as I will be heading to Tokyo!!! Better yet, Tokyo to see *pnish*!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It will be FUN, I hope!

Final exam tomorrow. Motivation to study, where have you gone? I need you back NOW!

Zipper tickets have arrived! I still don't think my credit card has been charged though.... (^^;) Anyway, yay!!!!!
I think that I might be able to use the same method to get tickets for Happy *pnish* Birthday 4th tickets. Or if I am so brave (or if my host's place does not have Internet access), I'd try Loppi..... if I can figure out how to use the machine.

I really, really, really don't want to study. One more day, one more 3 hour exam, and one more assignment. I have to keep saying that to myself or else I'll stop studying.

Oh man, this will be one long entry.

Thoughts on Musical Tennis no Oujisama in Winter Side Yamabuki -
The music and choreography for this show seemed more intricate than in previous shows, giving it a more professional feel. I think singing-wise, they mesh well. Dancing-wise, there were little things here and there that made me feel like they need more time to used to each other.
The main thing that stood out was the fact that they were all so freakin' tiny. I mean, yes, I thought several of the old cast members needed to gain 5-10kg, but the new cast were so thin that it was hard to believe they're supposed to be athletes. I think they need more sturdiness to them. Of course, I've said too many times that I think they look young. Finally, I don't like the new shirts much. This is really wrong, but they were riding up too much. I know it's like that in the anime (those gratuitious ab shots), but I liked the old shirts that weren't shiny and flying up all the time.
Overall, I think the cast could do really well with more time and experience.

Yuuya - wow, he lost that "deer in the headlights" look! He has some good Ryoma expressions, and I think his dancing has improved. His singing has too, but there were still some parts that were a little weird. Wow, he's grown so much in a just year..... but you know what? His yawn/stretch in the Dan/Ryoma scene was horrible..... it looked SO unnatural.

Shirota - His Tezuka is so out of character. :D Tezuka is a lot less controlled in this musical than normal. I liked his singing, and his dancing did not make me cringe. I don't remember him cracking at any part of the songs. I think that one of the main differences between him and Eiji-Buchou was that Eiji-Buchou tried really, really hard, went for the difficult notes, and cracked. Shirota seemed to stop before his limits and doesn't crack. I'm not quite sure what I'm trying to say actually, so don't mind me.
By the way, Ookuchi totally kicks both Shirota and Buchou's butts in the hair department.

Suzuki - You'd think that since this was Tuti's role, I might be really hard on him. Actually, I had no big issues with him, other than the fact that he also looks tiny. Oh yeah, actually, see the part about Adachi. I haven't gotten used to seeing him as Oishi.

Aiba - Given that this is Fuji and that the previous Fuji was Kime, you know I can't be unbiased here. Well, overall, it wasn't a bad performance. He can look like Fuji, but I've gotten used to Kime who, and I canNOT believe I am saying this, looks more masculine in some ways. I mean, Kime looks sturdier than Aiba..... I can see Kime's Fuji being someone that can threaten Momo (think Dream Live 1st), but not Aiba's. He kept reminding me of some woman, though I don't know who. I feel like Fuji lacked character here. I feel like his Fuji didn't have the presence that makes Fuji great.
Oh yeah, can't forget to mention this, but his voice. I do NOT like his voice. I mean, yeah, I'm comparing him to Kime which is totally unfair, but the first time I heard his voice, I thought Kikumaru was singing. I thought it was okay in the "Shouri no kami wa" song, but really, I kept thinking Kikumaru.

Adachi - Well, let's see if you can figure out my opinion from this one thought - "Ichitaro". Yes, I kept thinking that he reminds me of Ichi: his voice, his lack of character, and his dancing. >____< I was disappointed with his performance. One of the things that really stood out was that how he and Adachi lacked coordination in the "Good combination" number. (The choreography for that number was awesome with the different pairs going at once.) He didn't have the energy that I expect from Kikumaru.

Araki - Not bad. I love Souta, but I thought Araki did a decent job. It's funny because I thought he looked like one of the sturdier ones, and Inui always look lanky to me. Anyway, he looked the role, but this wasn't exactly a great Inui plot. There was that nice Penal Tea scene though.

Kotani - man oh man, poor guy has to live up to AbeB, and I LOVE Abe. He doesn't have a chance. He does okay, and he definitely had the muscle tone for Taka-san. Nothing personal, it's just that, well, Abe! AbeB ruins any and all future Taka-san, that is all. Also, I feel like a lot of the Taka and Akutsu interaction was left out, so it turned out not to be such a great Taka plot. It's sad.... it's not like Taka gets a lot of love to begin with, and now he has even less. Anyway, really, Kotani is not bad. He just didn't stand out.

Kaji - Okay, Eiji-san's role, so yeah, major bias here too. Actually, I thought Kaji was decent. His singing's not bad, and there were many times that I actually thought he looked like Eiji-san..... mostly in profile. Two things struck me as wrong though. Number one was the fact that I find Kaji very feminine. Wrongness. Momo's one of those characters that I would never think of as a bishounen, but Kaji looked feminine to me. His very, very shaped eyebrows were one thing. Kaji has a roundedness to his face while Momo's face is more angular. Number two was that I felt like some of his actions/mannerisms were actually more suited to the Kikumaru part. He was so jumpy, and while Momo is energetic, I don't think he moves like that.
By the way, his blowing a kiss to the audience totally reminded me of the kisses Eiji-san used to blow to Kime during You Got Game.

Kujirai - Kaidoh's hard.... he doesn't do a bad job, but Naoya did a good job, so he doesn't stand out. He had the look, but something seemed lacking....... Of course, Yamabuki isn't exactly the best Kaidoh arc ever, so it's not like he had a lot of chances to showcase himself.
Wrong thought: wow, Kaidoh's not wearing short shorts! (Really, his shorts actually make it past mid-thigh!)

Yamabuki - I love the Jimmies!!! Hayashi and Yazaki totally cracked me up with their number. Kawakubo was a cute kid, but Dan's cuter than that. Thought Wada was a very good Sengoku. JURI was awesome, but his hair distracted me a lot. XD Also, he was one of those people who needs to bulk up.

St. Rudolph - I love them. I love how they used SeiRu here. Kaneda cracks me up.

The Keys to Your Heart

You are attracted to those who have a split personality - cold as ice on the outside but hot as fire in the heart.
In love, you feel the most alive when things are straight-forward, and you're told that you're loved.
You'd like to your lover to think you are stylish and alluring.
You would be forced to break up with someone who was ruthless, cold-blooded, and sarcastic.
Your ideal relationship is lasting. You want a relationship that looks to the future... one you can grow with.
Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment.
You think of marriage something you've always wanted... though you haven't really thought about it.
In this moment, you think of love as something you can get or discard anytime. You're feeling self centered.

Hmmm, a couple of those were actually accurate. Some were pretty off.

Wow, third post this month!! Who's procrastinatin? :D

Ranting here instead of the other place because well, I just want to.

So on Friday, I found out that I had to get another document translated, and I needed it done ASAP. I contacted the person who translated for me last time and asked her if she could do it. She was said yes, and I told her I'd be willing to pay the same amount as last time even though this document was had about 200 fewer words than last time. I was willing to do it based on two conditions:
1. I needed it by Monday. Since I first contacted her early Saturday morning (Japan time), that gave her two days.
2. I needed her to sign and fax me a form also by Monday.
She said she was able to do this, so I was happy.
Sunday night, she sends me an email telling me that she was faxing me the forms and the translated document was attached...... except it was in a file format that I had never seen before. WTF? Why would you do that? Last time, I sent you a .doc file, and you sent me back a .doc file. It worked. Why would you decide that this time you can send me a file in a format that is readable only to software that is available in your country???? I had to search around to find the format and the software's website. By luck, I found a viewer (this was through the power of Google and not a foreigner friendly website). I download the viewer, and guess what? The file doesn't open in it! In fact, it crashed the viewer everytime I tried!
So I write her back telling her that I could not open the file and needed it in a .doc file. She said that she could do that, but she left her computer at school. >_______________< She told me that she would send me the file the next day. I tell her, yes please, send me the file as soon as possible.
Next day (her Tuesday) comes, and she sends me the file. I think okay, she's done her part, I need to arrange to pay her. I do that, and let her know. Then she replies to thank me and then adds "by the way, faxing didn't work."
WTF???? When the fuck did you try the faxing??? You emailed me more than 20 hours before to tell me that you were faxing the form over. Did you just not fax the form at the time you told me you would, or did you just wait 20 hours to tell me it didn't work?!?!?!! She mentioned she'll try again, but then asks what she should do if it doesn't work again.
Shit, if you told me in the beginning that faxing might be a problem, I would have found other options. Instead, you waited until your Wednesday to tell me?!!? I asked and was told that pdf would be good. She replies asking if jpeg was ok. At this point, I was like yes, fine, whatever. If need be, I could make a jpeg into a pdf on campus somewhere. Then she replies again asking "until when?"
GRRRRRRR Let's see, I told you I needed it Monday. It is now Wednesday your time. That would mean I need it 2 days ago. I repeated that I needed it on Monday and again said I want it asap. Finally, she emails me the form in jpeg format.

It's so obnoxious when someone tells you that they can/will do something and then don't. Don't agree to something if you can't do it, especially when you're getting paid for it.

Oh yeah, for anyone who cares, the original file was created with the Ichitaro word processor. Despite what Microsoft and OpenOffice says (which granted is vague and totally unclear), they don't do very well with the jtd format. I tried three computers and all came back to me with gibberish.
