Listened to RajiPuri 23 yesterday. Wow, um, I wonder what Tezuka's email (? Phone message?) to atobe said. It sounded so.... *cackle* I don't know how to describe it. So can be misinterpreted if you do not now Japanese, which I don't. *cackle*

The printers in the lab are slowly driving me bonkers. Paper jams and printing out lots and lots of blank pages. On the other hand, I've now gotten about 100 blank sheets of paper for sketches and whatnot.

Today at work at the helpdesk, a professor called trying to install a program on her Mac. She got confused on the part that said "Click here to download the installer". Why? She had printed out the instructions from online and didn't have her browser open. I am amused at this point. 15 minutes later, after walking her through the installation process, she got convinced that the program did not install because when she launched it, no new window came up. Spent about 10 minutes trying to convince her that the program did launch, but she would need to go to File, New to get a new document. Finally staff took pity on me and took over the call. She spent another 10 minutes talking to her before she was all set.
*sigh* wasn't so amused after that 35 minutes.

The first-years are so... eager, in a cute way. A couple of them just knocked on my door and asked me to vote for them in the dorm elections. At the end of their campaign speech, they said "so you can check the two of us when you see our names on the ballot."
"...and what are your names?"
"Oh... I'm (name here), and she's (name here)"

Got my last supplemental. So I thought I was down to two, but now I am back up to three.

Talked to Chris today about the work he paid me to do but never gave me. At the end, he gives me a look and asks "So, what are you doing for your 360?"
"Uh... I'm not doing one..."
Chris gives me another look.
"I really don't have the time this semester... I'm in two labs [really, 2.5 labs with stats] and managing MF..."
"Oh, I'm sure you'll get into med school anyway."
eep. Chris is a nice person, really he is. He's just evil, eeeeeevvvvvviiiiiillllll.

Tam, that lab sounds fun! Too bad I wish to avoid more bio at all costs. And Risa said that when we went to Laura's to watch the Dream Pair eps. I ran into her today and she was talking about skanky Ryoma again.... something about Ryoma being innocent and Fuji corrupting him.... *cackle*

Got a really cute Radio show yesterday~ Minagawa Junko + Okiayu Ryoutarou + Kaida Yuki! Cute!! It's not TeniPuri on the Radio but they did say something about PoT. The date in the file info was 11.29.02 though.
Anyway, I don't really know what was going on, but it seemed very much devoted to "November". Kaida-san has excellent pronounciation. The best part was when they sang a song devoted to November. It was mostly Kaida, with Okiayu and Minagawa Junko joining in.

Watched PoT 86 and Dream Pair episodes. I think that the anime people should just stick with the manga because the manga sounded so much cooler.
And the PoT boys have such horrible taste in clothes! (This is an insult coming from someone who pretty much sticks her hand into the closet and wears the first thing she grabs.)
I like watching PoT with you weirdos, but the innappropriate comments Risa makes crack me up. "Wow, I never noticed what a nice ass you have..." I thought she was talking about Icchan (or whatever the name of the big-nosed dude is). I was wondering what was so nice about his ass... :D
She was actually talking about Kaidoh checking out Ryoma's ass. And of course, Fuji's mouth harrassing Echizen...

My mind is going, really it is. I blame it on school and lack of sleep.

Four essays and six small essays are too much for one med school. Granted they're not long essays (1800 characters max, so half a page) but they're annoying. It's taken me forever to get this one done and I have at least two more to go. I guess it'll be worth it in April IF I get in somewhere because then I wouldn't be worrying about recruiting and all. But that's a pretty big "if".

Hmmm, found out completely by accident that Anita Mui (my favorite female singer) has cancer. How sad. The translations of the press conference are so weird though. One of them said that she said it was benign (benign tumors are not considered cancer are they?). But I wish the press would give her some privacy... apparently they've beeen hounding her for days before the announcement.

I know I've been going on and on about this, but it's sad that between Kimeru and Kouhei I am feeling completely inadequate as a female. Kimeru is so pretty, I think much prettier than I will ever be. And Kouhei's voice is amazing.... it's a lot higher and feminine than my voice.
The fact that they are both men makes me really sad, because they have much more feminine qualities than I do.
I just find it weird that Kimeru looks very feminine but has such a distinctly male voice, while Kouhei has such a feminine voice but looks so male.

I like Mizuki too, but in a different way. I just love to see his get crushed by Fuji. hehehe Plus his voice is wonderfully creepy.

Apparently Moriyama Eiji will be on the next TeniPuri Radio. Yes! I was waiting for this! (He's Shinji's voice and Momo in the musical.) I wish they'd have more of the people from the musical on. Yes, I want to hear Kimeru's normal speaking voice. I said I was obsessed with the musical.
Tachibana will also be on, but I'm more excited about Eiji.

Layout.... what can I say, I am in the weirdest mood lately. Changed it very slightly, but don't worry, it'll be temporary.... I think. Fixed links and whatnot.

So the year so far has not started out too auspiciously. Yesterday it rained, and that had me going nuts because the roof of the MF leaks, so I headed over to the Sci Ctr early to make sure no comps were being rained on.
Then the printer jammed and stayed jammed and is out of commission until repair comes to fix it. Bleh

Watched PoT 84 and 85 yesterday. Oh my lord, what the hell is up with Shinjyou and the sensei? CREEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPYYYYYYY. "DEEP IMPULSE!" had me cracking up because it's so bad. the ending where they went for sushi was adorable.

Looked at the caps on Koji's page. Cute.

Okay, I am NOT a bitter senior, but stupid first-years, don't tell me you're going to sell me a book then sell it to someone else and then forget to tell me about it! She ended by telling me that I'm "doing fine" because my book cost 70 at the bookstore and the one she needed was 90. ugh ugh ugh.

Ahh, the infamous Tower Court. But going as a senior has a much more evil feel to it. We're going to laugh at the first-years.... they're so eager. It's strange. I feel like a jaded old senior.

Incoherent babbling:
Johsei is an, um, interesting team. "Interesting" as in "weird". Coach bugs me A LOT. Wakato was okay, except the change-over bit was annoying. The little twins team was weird, and the way that match ended was really lame. I *heart* Golden Pair. Eiji is a sweetie as is Oishi. I don't like how the anime changed from the manga. Why the hell didn't the third-years see Tezuka off? That was sad. the Johsei arc was as bad as I had heard, with the animation being inconsistent and the plotline being a bit weak as well as inconsistent. ugh.
Chibis are cute. Bowling was awesome. Survival mountain was great.

I don't think I'll survive the next week, seeing as I haven't written anything for supplementals in a week! Bad, bad, bad.

Spent about 5 hours setting up the Mini today. Almost three hours of crawling around on the floor (thank goodness for the new CLEAN carpet). My knees hurt a lot. Then after a bunch of trainings, went back and spent more time there.

Finished unpacking!!!!! Now need to decorate and figure out where the hell I dumped stuff in my haste to unpack my crap.

One more day of training. Tomorrow I will be spending some quality time with my lab before upperclasswomen come back.

I have soooooo much to do like email all my schools to tell them my address is different now). I am tired, as you could probably tell from my rambly vent. To show you how out of it I am, I am listening to the Ishida mp3s and thinking about how much he sounds like Eiji (he doesn't really).

Damn, this bug bite keeps getting bigger and bigger!! It went from a 1cm diameter to a 5 cm diameter! My hand is swollen. It's itchy, and it hurts too. :( Stupid bugs.
