My cat, Photoshopped. Quote from a cat site. In my random playing around with Photoshop, I ended up with this attempt at being artistic. I'm just not good with that sort of thing.
My family scheduled my grandmother's birthday dinner for this coming Saturday - the weekend I'll be in SoCal for AnimExpo. Ooops. So, lucky me, I get to avoid my relatives! yay :) :) :) The best thing? It wasn't even my fault. I made my plans 2 weeks before they made their plans, so they knew I was not going to be here. Theoretically, it's a dinner for all of us who have birthdays in July (my grandmother, cousin, nephew, and me), but I'm not even going to be there! hehehe (In case you're wondering, I am NOT being sarcastic. If you've missed this point about me, I don't like most of my relatives.)
An animated Tenipuri movie is in the works. Yeah, really.
Gar, what is up with these pop-ups and stupid spyware plug-ins on my blog?!?! If it's from the tag-board, I might get rid of it, because it's pissing me off!

I like your new layout. <3 Alucard! For some reason, I cannot type into the fields for your tagboard though.
Lookie! I'm more antisocial than you are! But is that a surprise? Nope.
Reading through archives to find my answers from last year was fun! See below for my answers from last year. It looks like I've gotten better about things! I should also mention that I was angry when I last took the test:
Same level of hell, just different scores this time.

Of course Integral's there. She's definitely high on my list of favorite characters.
So, in case you haven't heard me fangirl about this enough yet, there will be a third musical!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*Ahem*
Let's try that again with a little less fangirling.
The third Tenimyu will be coming out in late July. This will be the St. Rudolph arc (live action Mizuki!), and it is called More than Limit. There will be many performances and new actors. It will be happiness. I will be fangirling. Here is my customary: I wish I could go to Japan!

Hmmm, either Wilbur is down, or they've deleted my account.
So, I have not abandoned the Pitas for something else, because I like Pitas. It gives me a little more freedom in some aspects, even if I can't private anything.
Plans are set for AnimeExpo.
Roommate search is not going well. I've emailed people back, emailed new people, and changed my application so that my chances of getting university housing increase, but so far, nothing. Errr..... I wonder if all these people have already found roommates or if they just don't check email. At this rate, I will have to fly over early to go apartment hunting.
MMV site has updated with new pictures of the Tenimyu Dream Live!!!!!!!!!!!! Gorgeous pictures and adorable costumes. Kimeru is extra shiny.
Kimeru has also updated his website for it's first anniversary! He also turned 24 a couple of days ago. He left another English message to his fans to thank them for letters/presents! So cute.
I don't know if I've mentioned this here, but *pnish* also updated a while ago. Pinkness all around. :)

I'm beginning to think that I should start a pool on when Chris will actually send me the work he wants me to do. Let's see, he did this to me last summer as well, and I ended up finally getting the work during Wintersession. At least this time he didn't pay me in advance, so I'm not technically owing him anything.
My perfect number of hours of sleep per night is 9. That's a lot...
My sister got her wedding pictures (she actually got married 2 years ago, but they didn't have the money to take the pics). She had me scanning them in and printing them out on photo paper, etc. Let me just say, Photoshopping on a (probably virus-infected) PC with 64megs of RAM, a mouse that barely works is not fun.

I upgraded Windows Media Player yesterday in the hopes of getting the PVs to play correctly. (Yes, I am desperate. I spent over an hour on the upgrade.) It worked for one clip (Kime's), but then it stopped working when I tried to play Nagayan's. Then today, it started working again, and it worked with all of them!!! So, the video is choppy, and the stream stops every 7 or so seconds to buffer, but I didn't care! I watched all of the clips, including the ones of the actual musicals. cute cute cute cute cute What is that thing on TakiEiji's head in the new Endo clip? Nagayama and the Karupin plushie were too adorable, and Tuti is a wonderfully weird guy.
Yesterday I had a dream where we were all back at school, and there was an event held by the school with all the Tenipuri seiyuu. First, we were eating somewhere, and one of the seiyuus walked by, so we made him eat and talk with us in Japanese (I think that's why you guys were there... to translate :P). Then at the event, we managed to get really good seats, so we were sitting right behind the seiyuus (all three rows of them), and the same guy was in front of us, so we were bugging him again. There was something about us having cold hands, him being really warm, and us trying to use him as a heater or something. Yeah, I have strange dreams. Maybe that's why I tend to block them out.
So, yesterday was my mother's birthday. Tomorrow's my brother's birthday. Friday will be my sister's birthday (the one that we never talk to or mention). We went to the Japanese buffet for dinner. Yum.
I've gone through about 1 roll of toilet paper because I've been having these bouts of sneezing that lasts for several minutes. It's quite sad really.
Me nephew is a a brat. Yes he is. He's cute, but bratty.

Hrm.... the computer seemed to have eaten my FirstClass. I mean, fcc32.exe and all those little files that are in the FirstClass folder. Luckily, my download folder is intact.... I have a ton of stuff in there that I want to keep. Which reminds me, I should go get a couple of flash drives and save my files. Too bad this computer no longer recognizes the CDRW. :(
One thing I like about being home is that I get to watch a lot of TV.... the Simpsons, silly entertainment "news" shows, the news, and of course, my little obsession, Japanese TV.
Saturday, they aired the second part of a Memorial Day's special which was about a family in Okinawa during WWII. It was sad... a little sappy at points, but still gets the point across: War is stupid and pointless. They're having an essay contest. They were saying this in Japanese, so I had no idea what they were talking about, but I perked up at the words "Shounen Jump" (I think it will be a part of the smaller prizes.) They then announced in English that the grand prize is a trip to Japan. I wish I were 5 years younger so I could actually do it.
So, there was no Kochira Hon Ikegami Sho, which makes me sad, because I liked the show. It has to be over by now though. Sakura, however, is STILL running. (Sakura is about this Japanese-Hawaiian who goes to teach English in Japan.) It's a fun little show, but the main character is pretty much loved by everyone, and unsurprisingly, she manages to annoy me at least once per episode. The show after Sakura was Shinsengumi! I have no idea what's going on - they're at episode 17 or so - but so far, it was pretty fun to watch. I wonder how the Japanese got their hair to be like that.... (I'm talking about the thing that looks like a ponytail that's been wrapped back up to the top of the head.) Yesterday, they had a "news" program/infomercial for something called Aojiru..... looks like the thing that Souta brought to practice that one day.

MMV has adorable new pictures up!!!!! I mean, ADORABLE. Nagayan and Kime have their hair like Oishi's! The cuteness kills me. :) :) :) Kime doing tsubame gaeshi. :) Nagayan looks so different with his hair short. Eiji in shorts. Hotta in very orange pants. Also, more PVs up and a Close-up with the ichinensei. Too bad my computer is having trouble with the PVs. WMP doesn't show the video, while Real Player just has issues. It's only 10 days until the dream live! (No, I wasn't counting. The page now has a pop up countdown.)
Kime has been updating his column often these days. I guess he is less busy now that the tour is over, but he does have another tour planned. :)
katana28, I feel the pain you went through with your father's computer. I am currently downloading 37 critical updates on my brother's laptop. Microsoft claims that it will take 20 minutes to download the 47.1 mb of updates. Yeah, right. Maybe if a minute were 600 seconds long.
My boxes arrived yesterday. I had just finished unpacking my suitcases, and now my room is once again overrun with crap. Where am I going to keep this stuff? Some things I definitely will not be needing in the near future: my coats, my scarf/gloves, and bathrobe. Also my books. Even my brother had trouble with the big box, which really begs the question: how the hell did I move it into storage by myself last year??!?
Yesterday the Spellympics episode of the Simpsons was on. This was the one where Lisa goes to a national spelling bee and was offered a free ride to the Seven Sisters college of her choice. The line about Wellesley still cracks me up (for those who don't remember, the seven sisters all try to sell themselves to Lisa. Radcliffe says "Come to Radcliffe and meet Harvard men!" and Wellesley says "or come to Wellesley and marry them.") Funny, I've met a couple of Harvard guys, and I wouldn't want to marry them...... heheheee

My nails can survive bowling, moving 6 pieces of luggage through the airport, carrying four boxes which averaged about 50 lbs each (I think), but they are now gone. For reasons unbeknownst to me, two of them were starting to break, so I had to cut them off. :( I am going to miss having nails for a while.
Just got notice today that my FC was extended until end of August. :)

I'm proud of myself: 2 days without going online.... and I haven't had a bout of withdrawal yet. Of course, it was probably due to me being too exhausted to care.
I got back home at around 1am Sunday morning (which is 4am on the time I was accustomed to), but I stayed up another 2 hours or so, unpacking and watching TV. TV, how I've missed you.
Sunday, my sister calls my mother at 7 in the morning and subsequently, my mother wakes up everyone in the house. We went to my sisters and played with the niece and nephews for a while. I got back home around 11pm and stayed up until 1 or so, with more unpacking and more TV.
This morning I woke up at 6am because I needed the bathroom, and then again at 8:30am (I think probably because normal bathroom times at school would be before the 8:30 class and before the 11:10 class, so with the 3 hour difference, it translated as way too early in the morning.)
So graduation was Friday. Yay. However, I think I would have felt more sentimental or sad about leaving had my parents not been there. They pretty much made me think "I just want to get the hell out of here right now so I don't have to be with them anymore".
So yeah, the "right is not left" thing is genetic. My father got so lost when he drove because he kept turning the wrong way. This was after I tell him THREE times which way to turn:
Me: Turn left at the next intersection.
Him: Left?
Me: Yes, left.
Him: Left?
Me: Yes, turn LEFT.
Him - Turns right.
Mind you, this is not a huge problem, if he didn't get angry everytime he turned the wrong way. Also, don't ask me three times if we are going straight in the same block. You can try turning, but you'll hit either the sidewalk or the center divide. Also, you cannot turn onto the pedestrian walkways on campus. They aren't big enough to hold a SUV. ><
He has no patience, so he got REALLY lost when trying to get to my school from the hotel the first time. First of all, they didn't bother to take the directions I gave them before they left. Then they don't bother calling me and letting me know they were lost. I had to call them (they have a cell, so they wouldn't have had to pay for the call *grumble grumble*). Then I tell him that he has to stay on this one street until he sees my school, but he goes for a little while before turning the car around and heading in the other direction because they hadn't gotten to the school yet. They were at Newton-Wellesley, but somehow managed to get to Copley in their way to Wellesley.
Mother pissed me off within 5 minutes of seeing her and pretty much continued to do so for the rest of the time. I think the thing that really made me want to tell them to get the hell away from me was when she decided to ask me about my tuition for next year. First of all, in the past 4 years, she has contributed nothing to my tuition. Second of all, in the first 2 years of college, she always preceded the question about my tuition with the line "We don't have any money so don't expect me to give you any." Pretty much, as far as I am concerned, it is none of her damned business what I make/pay for school.
That said, she asks me what I have to pay, and I told her that it's none of her business. Then she tells me that I don't tell her anything and that because of that, I made a "dai tau fut" - literally translated as big-head Buddha, or roughly translated, for those of you not familiar with Cantonese idioms, deep shit. This is the type of phrase that someone like her would use if you were to get pregnant at 16 with no idea who the father is....
Yeah, so that was not the best way to start of the couple of days.
The trip back was pretty bad mainly because of them - trying to navigate Boston with a driver who won't listen and a backseat driver who won't shut up. Drove by Harvard and visited MIT like good Asian tourists. I don't understand how it is that I had so much difficulty making it through the airport with 6 bags between 3 people when I normally go through with 4 bags by myself. Oh yeah, my parents are incompetent, right.
At the airport, the bastard of a good samaritan ticket counter guy switched my seat assignment so I had to sit with them during my flights, even after I told him that the assignment we had had was fine. Grrr.

Little Challenge for you all
I did this before a while ago.....
Guess how many hours have I worked for the college since first year. This includes the hours up to Tuesday, which is my last day of work-work.
Here are some hints, because otherwise, it's more like pulling a random number out of the air:
I've worked at least 2 jobs per semester since first year.
At my max, I held 6 positions with the school (only 5 of which gave me hours though).
I never stayed for any Wintersessions nor summers, but have stayed for 3 spring breaks.
No prize really, unless you really want one....
Yesterday's DDR was fun if tiring. I honestly don't know how we got into taking butt shots of people (Plushie Fuji included) but it was very interesting.....
Hey you! Any interest in volunteering for AnimeExpo? MJ and I want to volunteer for all the days. Let me know.
*sigh* so Yanagi's not returning. I was hoping that he would make some sort of appearance, but nope. Something about Kuya doesn't look right to me. I think it might be the eyes. I can't believe he was frickin' born in 87. 87! Sorry, can't get that out of my head.
The new profile pics up at MMV are cool though. Nagayan is so cute. Tuti always look weird in these pub shots, as does Eiji. Kime back as Fuji. :)

So I didn't write this up, since it was in the middle of finals, but I went to the clinic for the last time on Saturday. It's so sad - I've been working with this organization for 2 years now, and this was the last time I'll be going there. It was a memorable last session though.
Again, we had a hectic time even though there were only 8 or 9 patients and 3 volunteers. I swear the patients only come in between 10:30-12:30.
Anyway, one girl fainted while she was getting her blood drawn, which freaked out the volunteer that was working with her, so I took over. Basically, the girl's blood pressure dropped a lot, so I watched the nurse help her try to get it back up again. Tht took about an hour, and about 15 minutes of it was me standing outside the bathroom door making sure I didn't hear any loud noises (in case she fainted in the bathroom). She felt better though and was able to leave, so I went back to find three Japanese patients.
Our program targets Chinese and Vietnamese patients mostly, and we work as translators... expect none of us speak Japanese. So that was fun. One of the dudes is from Nagoya! (yay Kime, my obsession with you is teaching me geography!) Yes, I AM a dork.
All in all, fun times.

Done!!!!!
Handed in my paper and exam after work today. Emailed both profs to hear that they had gotten it. Went back to dining hall to eat. Went back to room, fell into bed, and woke up 2.5 hours later.
I am done with college! Mwuahahahahahahha
