Am in Sacramento right now. Babysitting three kids by myself... eeeeeeek. Luckily, two of them are asleep right now, and the other one is playing on the comp next to me. He saw the chibi Tezuka and Fuji on Rachel's blog and said that they were cute. Now resisting the temptation to make him watch PoT (j/k. He can't read yet and I don't have the patience to read the subs out loud to him... although, do you remember the time we were reading out the subs for I, My, Me, Strawberry Eggs because the sound didn't work? fun times.)

Definitely on the juice or penal-tea. I am curious.... hehehe. Also try the AMV thing.
Ryo and Shinji? hmmm.... strange combo. I always see Shinji/Kamio or Shinji/Tachibana or, um, Shinji/Kamio/Tachibana.
The Tez/Momo thing came out of this thought I had while re-watching older eps: "Wow, that looks like a smile on Tezuka's face!" He was talking about Momo to Fuji. (ep of Momo/Kaidoh playing doubles.

People do think that Alucard's a pervert. Really, really perverted. hehehe

Hmmm, Hellsing fanfics. In general, I like the parody/humor ones, so these recs will focus mainly on them. I also don't like the A/C pairing... if there had to be a pairing, I like AxI better.
The Bet -- Alucard bets Integral she can't be feminine. Hace Color -- Very strong AxI, but funny.
A Night in the Life of a Vampire
Dismissed -- focuses on the Iscariot Group (Anderson, Yumiko, and Heinkel).
Omakes -- Strange, strange funny bits.
I usually laugh very hard at the stuff by Kit and Damned Caeli on ff.net.
Arg, there was one called A Vampire's Perspective that's really nice, but I can't find it.

FujixYuuta one: A Most Unbrotherly Love

I don't know why Val calls me Mizuki either. I rewatched the episode where Fuji beats him this morning. How much do I love Fuji right now? :-) Don't just beat the bastard... crush him.

I decided I want Yuuta for a little brother. He's so easily manipulated. He would be so much fun to make fun of!! hehehehe
First-year Yuuta reminds me of Nanjiroh.

I wonder why Tezuka is not paired up with Momo...

Yuki is pretty in a dress. But he just goes so well with Tohru.... and he's not nearly as pretty as Ayame.

Here's a random question... Without going into too many details, how do people decide which person is the seme and which is the uke? Like Kaidoh and Eiji, they're always called the uke. Tez, Oishi, and Inui are almost always seme. Fuji kinda goes everywhere... Told you it was a random thought, and really, not meant to be as perverted as it may have sounded.

You know what? Shounen-ai in furuba doesn't sit well with me. I mean, the blatant ones are Haru/Yuki and Ayame/Shigure/Hatori or any combo with the trio, and then there's Yuki/Kyou.
It's just that Yuki seems so homophobic that I can't really see him with a guy. That and he's so obviously smitten with Tohru. (Can you tell I like Yukiru?)
The trio... the feeling I get from them is Ayame and Shigure act that way because it freaks people out. Sort of like how Fuji teases Yuuta. *cackle*
Haru's the only one who's really kissed a girl in the whole manga.

Though I haven't rewatched FB lately to see if I can catch the shounen-ai hints.

Got my fin aid packet in the mail yesterday. Good news, they gave me more aid than they did last year. Bad news, the amount in my bank account will be 2/3's gone by the end of the month.
Will send in my AMCAS app today, as soon as I am certain which schools I am applying to. Money count there is ~0.... and that's not counting secondaries (if I get any).

I now remember why I HATE Mizuki. It had nothing to do with Yuuta.

As for corruption, I am thoroughly corrupted. I can't watch PoT without thinking "Oh, so that's where that pairing comes from." On my own, I only noticed Oishi/Eiji, but now, everything can be interpreted with a fangirl twist.
Not that that's a problem or anything.

For the fanfic people out there, I really like the stories about Fuji/Ryo (Chase and its sequels) on ff.net. I don't actually like that pairing, but I really like that author's writing. Not sure I understand the last one though. I do really like Fuji in the story though:
"The truth was, nobody ever wanted to explain to Ryoma's boyfriend the reason behind why they called him 'Ryoma-sama' and, most importantly, placed claims on him from top to toe. Not even when the most menacing expression on Fuji's face was probably his innocent smile. The standard procedure for them was to smile nervously at Fuji, back a few feet away, then start taking off for their lives."

Am now convinced that the Taka/Fuji pairing is one-sided. If there were such a pairing, it would be that Taka has a crush on Fuji and Fuji just sees Taka-san as a good friend and for whose injury he feels guilty.
What can I say? I like the Tezu/Fuji pairing better. Tezuka has more personality when he's around Fuji. :-)

I am even more corrupted than I thought. I really like the story on ff.net called "A Most Unbrotherly Love". I still can't warm up to the Fuji/Yuuta pairing (I do like their interaction though), but I love her characterization of Fuji. I love this:

I hate the neighbor kids. They had a little party last night, and now there are glass liquor bottles in my yard. They're younger than me, and I ain't legal yet. They were also on my yard this morning too. I am so sick of having to deal with them. Wish my mother would just cough up the money to put up the goddamn fence or at least talk to them about it. Stupid cowards. I really do hate my parents and my neighbors. They take the fun out of being at home.

They are all great, but I especially LOVE the ones named circus (dude, this pic of Fuji reminds me of Tezuka! hahaha) Akutsu, turtles (*cackle*), ghosts, blushy, boys, "to" in "eventually everyone has to drink..." (I guess when Fuji faints?), aozu of that same line (Awww, poor Fuji, hehehe), variety, some, and Karupin (chibi Karupin!!!!).

I love TeniPuri on the Radio. They are just so cute. I love how they imitate Kikumaru like every other show.

The "wedding present" as I understood it was in the low 5-figure range. I think I should be able to command a much higher bride price, eh? :-)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks YuGiOh is interesting. I'm finally understanding the premise of the duels, but I am still laughing my head off at random times because it's so weird. I really like their coats... they look like they've been heavily starched, the way they defy gravity. Kaiba's so funny.

Babysitting again today. Wish I had some cool Pokemon-like power that would make my nephew sleepy.

Did I ever tell you guys about being propositioned to do a fake marriage? My brother-in-law's cousin wanted to come over here and my b-i-l asked me if I would do it. I told him that it would be hard with me on the east coast 8 months of the year, not to mention it would wreak havoc on my fin aid stuff. Of course, that was all a very tactful way to say "You are nuts, and you must think I am nuts if you think I would consider it even for a second." hahaha. Such a random thought.
