Yo. So it's the end of April. One more month before finals are over. One more month and a day before I go home. yay yay yay.
One more month and several days before I head to Japan. O_O Exciting yet scary...... I have so much Japanese that I should learn. I feel like I should learn how to say "Pity me, I'm a foreigner." Actually, for that, can I say something like "watashi wa gaijin. kawaisou desu!"? hahahaa, they'd know immediately that I have no idea what I'm doing.

Been into bleach lately, and I like the manga a lot. Since I started manga first, the anime seems strange in the way it does things, but I like it too. I like Renji, Byakuya, Urahara, and Chad so far. Gin too, as a villain-type character. Byakuya reminds me a lot of Sesshoumaru. Go figure.

*pnish* events coming up - Roku Aku Tou is coming up in a few days. The picture on their site looks awesome. Then Zipper, which we'll go to. Then Anniversary event, which I WILL be going to, even though I will be alone. Hell, I think it says on their work diary that they'll greet everyone who goes. Awesome!!!! I hope I actually learn enough Japanese to understand even 1/100 of what they say. Also, Monsterbox DVD....... I think they're putting it up on the website after Roku Aku Tou? I hope????

In other news, Naoyan's 25th birthday was a few days ago.
Kime's column been quiet lately.
Dream Live 2 is in a few days.

MJ, you were right. Superficial vein thrombosis does not cause pulmonary embolism because they are too small. I guess the pulmonary embolism that people care about are the ones where the clots are huge and embolize in the pulmonary arteries.

I forgot how sucky it feels to be sick. Blech

Great thing about keeping Pitas is that I can procrastinate without bugging other people, since not many people still visit here.

Bleachmyu - exciting news! I sadly won't be able to watch it (*sigh*) but Eiji, Nagayan, Ooguchi, and Tuti will be in it. Not only that, but Yoshida as well! (Yoshida is a former member of *pnish* from way back in 2001.) I really wish I could watch it...... the news even made me get into Bleach. Yes yes, Tenimyu actors can get me started on series much more effectively than any fan's accolades.
I'm even trying HunterXHunter.....

My Tenimyu Side Fudomine DVD arrived last week, and I haven't been feeling very well, so no good fangirling from me. Anyway, it was wonderful. I love this cast so much. It was so sad to watch their speeches at the end, to watch them cry so openly (or not-so-openly in one person's case ~_^), and to see them support each other. I really don't know if I could have liked the show as much if it weren't for the actors and their personalities. I love watching the behind the scenes and the old audition clips.
It's so interesting and strangely satisfying to see how long they've come in the past two years. Some of them were just starting out, some had much more experience.... To look at them from two years ago and compare, it's easy to see how different they are now..... and how much they've stayed the same. I miss the good old days, but it's also wonderful to see them mature into such great performers.
I think I would have been crying my eyes out if it weren't for the fact that I couldn't muster up the energy. I hope they realize how grateful I am (and probably all the fans are) for all the beautiful memories of the last two years.
I'll really miss them, but at the same time, I'm still trying to follow their careers whereever they go. It's hard though..... I'm already having trouble keeping track of Abe, Naoya, and TakiEiji. *pnish* and Kime are the ones that I actively look for info on, and Nagayan and Souta's fanbases are large enough to keep me kinda up-to-date. I wish I had more time to look.

Finally episode of PoT also came out last week. It didn't move me nearly as much as Tenimyu of course. There was lots of cheesiness in the way of Tezuka jumping from meteor to meteor. On some level, I wish they had ended the series at Junior Senbatsu because it went on just too long...... Instead of being sad that the series ended, I look at it now and think "thank goodness they ended it". I think it's better to leave you wanting more than to kill your interest by overdoing it.
Weirdly, RajiPuri will continue, as will the music releases. They still milk it for all it's worth.
Last thing, I kinda lamented at one point that they played "You Got Game" at the end of an episode around the time of Side Fudomine show, and I thought "wow, this is like the end of Kimeru's association with PoT". I realize now, that it really was...... :(

Spring break spring break, don't end so quickly. I feel rushed now, because it's already Wednesday. Wah wah, where did the time go?

It is confirmed: I am going to Japan this summer! Yay!!!! I'll get to see *pnish* and hopefully some others as well! Excitement with a tinge of apprehension. Maybe I should study Japanese from now till June.

Long long shot, but does anyone happen to know why most cases superficial thrombophlebitis does NOT result in pulmonary embolism? I mean, drainage of the superficial veins is to the femoral vein then to the external iliac, to iliac, then to IVC right? So why would a clot in a superficial vein not end up in the lung while a clot in the deep veins (drains to internal iliac and then takes the same route to IVC) can find its way to a pulmonary vein?
Better question, why did I not keep my mouth shut? I seemed to have asked a question that I can't find an answer to. It's one of those cases where everyone says superficial thrombophlebitis is usually benign, but no one says why. (;_;)
I'll stop being a dork now.

Okay, enough of this intellectual stuff, on to One Piece fillers. Yay.

Kimeru, I love you! Your new Maxi single is just adorable, and those pictures are amazing. Ddddddaaaaammmmmmmnnnnnnn you're way too pretty. I haven't said this in a while, so it's worth repeating: I wish I were half as feminine as Kime. Just half, even a quarter.

The songs are great too; I can't forget to mention that!

I LOVE *pnish*!!!!!!!!. That's really all I have to say, but I felt the need to announce it.

MJ, when did you leave that message? I rarely post here anymore and do it once in a while because I feel bad abandoning the Pitas..... I average 2x a month nowadays.

What a week. I am so glad it is over.

Oh dear lord, 4Kids ought to die and burn in hell for what they did to Sanji. I mean..... good lord, he sounds like Joey of YuGiOh! He actually sounds a little like what I would have expected them to make Zoro sound like... It's so HORRID?!! Why do you have to bring perfectly good anime from Japan and ruin it like that????

I'm sure YuGiOh fans were like that with the dubs that I found so amusing too. Hopefully someone out there finds the 4Kids One Piece amusing, but it sure as hell won't be fans of the Japanese One Piece!

On to happier news, *pnish* updated their site with lots of fun stuff from Monsterbox. I am so jealous of the people who got to see the show and of people who could watch it when it airs on that TV channel. Eiji-san's costume is very interesting..... wow. I mean, WOW!

To the Monsterbox costume-designer,
I love you. I am very much amused. Thank you.

My access to the other playground is limited right now, so I'll update here. It's been a long time! I neglect the Pitas too much.

Am slowly going off the deep-end with this whole "school" stuff. I HATE YOU BIOCHEM! I HATE YOU GENETICS! You both drive me nuts.
Test on Monday, can you tell?
The good thing is that the proposal's handed in! I don't have to worry for it for a while! yay yay yay

*pnish* MonsterBox finished several days ago. Hoping they will put up pictures soon. It looks like it was fun. Even better was the fact that Shinoda and Kime both went to see the show. Hmmmmm, I wonder if Eiji-san still hasn't gone to one of Kime's lives..... I'd beat him up if I were Kime. :D

Sllllllllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepppppppppppppppppppp, I miss you!!!!!!

Did a new layout for the heck of it. Call it seasonal affective disorder, call it depression, call it sick and tired of the dark sky and cold snow, but this is how I feel right now. Dark. But worry not for I really am stuck in the middle of the snow, and it is not a metaphor for the state of my mind.

Why am I getting all these hits for Takigawa Eiji?? I don't collect info on buchou! If you asked about the other Eiji however, I might know a little more...... Sorry, but I personally do not find buchou particularly attractive. (Not to say he's bad looking by any sense of the word.................. except when he's "dancing".)

New year new year. Haven't updated here in a while.

The cast of Tenimyu has graduated. All the ones I love are now gone from Tenimyu: Kimeru, Moriyama Eiji, Nagayama Takeshi, Tsuchiya Yuuichi, Abe Yoshitsugu, Aoyama Sota, Gomoto Naoya, Yanagi Koutarou, and Takigawa Eiji.
Truly, the last last performance had the perfect cast. (Sorry Ichitaro, Morimoto, and Ookuchi fans....)
I don't know my feelings on Endo yet..... but it's weird to think that HE is the person who has the most experience with myu when it comes to the Side Yamabuki performance.

*pnish* Monsterbox looks like it will be so much fun. I wanna go............ Too bad I wouldn't get any of the jokes though. Wish I knew enough Japanese to understand.

Exciting! I got an email saying that my order of Tenimyu First Remarkable Match and Dream Live 1st has been shipped!!!!!!!! I should receive it in a week or so. Wooooooooooooohooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe how much I am willing to spend on this franchise, Tenimyu. MMV could make a nice little profit if they were willing to sell the DVDs online to foreign countries. I mean, I paid 8700 yen for the DVD, and the normal cost was 7140. But when I think about it, the extra 1600 yen isn't as bad as it could be. It's the shipping that costs a lot.
I also pre-ordered the Tenimyu in Winter DVD as well. That will come in March.

Oh Kimeru, I love you. That little comment you left on Nagayama's BBS was priceless.
