Ansem reminds me of Akio! Ohtori Akio from Shoujo Kakumei Utena! *BLARGH!* *makes a face*
Ick, and he's not even as creepy-cool as Akio, because Ansem hasn't S3XX0Red everything that walks on two legs. (Now if he had slept that Sora or Riku, that would have been better. ^^;;)
And the door to Kingdom Hearts just drips of the door to the Revolution. *grins* God, how I miss that series. O_O;; *drools all over the floor* It's the most amazing anime series ever. Seriously. ^_^ Way better than anything of CLAMP's I have seen to date.
Anyway...*ahem* I was totally expecting to see rose thorns wound around the Kingdom Hearts door. (And Ansem grabbing the Keyblade, hacking at the door, and having the key break. ^^;;)
So if Riku's behind the door to the Revolution, doesn't that mean he's then committed the sin of sacrifice, and that he's now the Rose Bride? ^^;; *sweatdrops*
So doesn't someone have to find the door again (through a long series of duels) and sacrifice themselves for Riku and disappear from the world? O_o;;

Well, lab meeting was shorter than expected. I guess it lasted like 6 hours last time because that was more of a lab dinner. This was strictly official business, so no talk about Lera (my professor) dressing up as a banana at Stanford.

*sigh* I love this job. All I do is sit on my ass, check out the occasional book, do my homework, and I get paid. ^_^ Wicked.
Not gonna be home until WAY LATE tonight, there's a lab meeting at 6pm, and hell knows we'll be there until 12 or 2am. =_=;;
I'm probably going to leave at a semi-decent hour though...still have homework to do for tomorrow, you know.
Trying to find a Kingdom Hearts script so I can finish that Riku/Sora I'm writing...but since I can't, I guess you guys will have to wait until the weekend (don't worry folks, I'm here from 1-6pm on Sunday, of course I'll be writing fanfiction) when I can start a new game and hastily scribble down some dialogue. ^^;;

Okay, so it's 10am, and I technically have nothing to complain about since I used to go to school at 7:35am (I don't know how in the world I actually managed to stay awake for that O_o;;)...but I guess I can bitch and moan while I'm in college.
Had a funny dream this morning. So I'm one of the guards of this important king, and he's going to a meeting so I'm standing guard outside the room. The entire area is protected by forcefields, but rumour has it that the rebellion is going to attempt a break-in and assassinate the king.
So I'm standing outside with my sword (and it's what we call in Chinese a 'quick blade' it has a hinge on it so it can be swung around easily) when I notice several groups of people sneaking about. I'm instantly alert and really hoping the King's security system lets him know what's coming.
So then I look on my computer screen and all the forcefields are being disabled because someone's hacking into the system! I look up and there are some of the people I knew from high school, trying to get in.
So the last forcefield's going down, and I'm preparing to fight Abigail McIntosh, and then my alarm clock wakes me up. >.<
Dammit, can't I at least get a cool fight scene in once in a while?
Well, on my Kingdom Hearts update, I've finished Hollow Bastion, now I have to do all the random side-quest/tournament thingies to get the secret ending. I was watching it last night (again) on Brad's game. *grin*

Destra, using Brad's game, finally beat Sephiroth! It was sooo fricking hard. >.< The catch is to survive the period when he runs around, slices at you, and casts Fallen Angel. >.< After you have enouch elixirs to survive that, he'll move into his limit break, in which case you stick as close to him as possible and just whack at him over and over.
And she beat him! ^_^ (not that I'm happy about Sephiroth getting his clock cleaned of course...^^;;) I was sad though. He doesn't say anything at all. He gives you this Dammit-I-Got-Beat-By-A-Pre-pubescent-Boy look, and disappears in dramatic Squaresoft boss fashion.

Yay for Hachi Mitsu-san e-mailing me. ^_^ She's still shooting for Columbia...-_-;; but maybe she'll get into MIT too. *grins* Need more random hyper fangirls at MIT. ^_~

I saw Sephiroth's dramatic entrance at the Olympus Coliseum in Kingdom Hearts! *drools*
Oh my god...and he actually has a slightly modified costume! ^_^ *dance dance* (So who do I cosplay now? Riku or Sephiroth? O_o;;) It has these pretty red highlights...*drools* and he has a different symbol for his belt (it looks like wings, instead of the Yggdrasil)! Sooooo sexy!
And from what I've heard of his voice...it's mostly grunts and the like, but he doesn't sound TOO bad actually. (Ewwww, Lance Bass. >.<)
I bet he really talks if you beat him...which is 'nigh impossible. >.<
His first fighting style is walking around all cool-like, and occasionally swiping with his sword (which has a reach of about half the stadium, I swear) or jumping at you and retreating quickly. >.<
When you get him down a couple of bars (or so I'm told by Omi) his fighting style drastically changes and you're screwed because he casts Fallen Angel on you. ^^;; So that's 1HP, 0MP, and then he starts dashing around and slicing at you. Wheee. What fun. ^_^
*jumps up and down* So many people to cosplay, so little time! >.< Since Sephiroth actually has a (slightly) different costume in here, I'm so tempted to do Kingdom Hearts Sephiroth. ^^;;

Went to Kaiju Big Battel last night with a bunch of friends: Mel, Benazeer, Dave, Mai, and others. ^_^
It's like this...monster fighting thing that's put on by the MassArt students. ^^;;
I'm definitely going again, the next time they do one in Boston. ^^;; It'll probably be next year...but hey. Kaiju Big Battel is fun. ^_^;; Maybe I'll be able to take Omi eventually.
So I've got my interview for the MIT Japan Program today, let's hope it goes well and I get my ass in an internship in Japan for the summer. O_o;;
That would just kick so much ass! ^_^ *heart*
...but then I couldn't go con-ing with Amberlee *sniffle* and I wouldn't have time to make myself a Legato costume *sniffle*...but I'd be in JAPAN! ^_^

Oh, there's a secret ending to Kingdom Hearts, by the way .^_^;; If you get everything (seal all the worlds, get all the dalmations, etc.), you get this special ending after the credits and the epilogue that's a trailer for the Kingdom Hearts sequel. Apparently (and I haven't seen it though), it seems to be Riku-centric. ^_^ Everyone's older (does that mean it's safe for college-aged me to be sliming those mid-pubescent boys?), and it looks like Riku's looking for Sora or something.
Dude...I'd SO LOVE a game where I get to be Riku.

I saw the ending to Kingdom Hearts last night! ^_^ *dance dance dance*
It's sooooooo cool! Brad beat it last night for all of us to watch! Okay, bad me, getting spoiled...but seriously...the last part was just like...strings of battles. Fight after fight after fight... O_o;; for two hours.
I probably would have ended up twitching on the ground if that was me playing.

Watched Brad play Kingdom Hearts last night. Lots of froshies came for Rush too! *grins* Yayyy! Frosh! *dance*
On the subject of Kingdom Hearts, it feels as if my subconscious is refusing to do that roll-away/heal thing. You know, get out of the way when you heal so you don't get hit with something before the healing happens. (You have NO IDEA HOW MANY FRICKING TIMES that's happened to me. >.< GRRRRRRR.)
My brain says, "GET OUT OF THE MELEE AND HEAL!" but my fingers just say, "Nah, I'll just heal." >.< And then I DIE! *bangs head*

Apparently Omi's fighting Sephiroth at the Coliseum, and totally getting his ass kicked, because Sephiroth has his "Fallen Angel" attack, which reduces you to 1HP. Hahahahaha. ^_^ *evil cackles* It would be so sad if Sephiroth was easy to beat. XD Glad to know he whoops ass.
Feel like shit right now. >.< I rode my bike across the Harvard Bridge today, and my ears are SO COLD. And when they get cold, they give Skuld headaches. *whimper* Ow ow ow.

END KINGDOM HEARTS UPDATE
Since I've been punting this entire week, it's up to me to get all my work done tonight. *sigh* Anyhoo...I went to Sasuga with Ali-chan today...X 18 wasn't there, but the CLAMP North Side and South Side artbooks were. ^_^ So Skuld got North Side and Ali-chan got South Side.
We've also been talking about more cosplay, I think she'd make a cute Sora. ^_^;; Which would have to put me as Riku, basically. ^^;; I don't feel like doing Kairi. >.< (Ick!) or any of the Disney characters. I might do Squall if push comes to shove...but I don't want to do Sephiroth again because he doesn't really have a costume change in Kingdom Hearts. ^^;;
So I guess it's Riku for me. ^^;; I'll have to cut my hair...we'll see whether or not Riku's worth the effort when I get to the end of the game. ^_^
Jen, Ali-chan's friend, is almost done with her Hokuto shikifuku. Ali-chan says she has most of Subaru together...and Seishirou shouldn't be too hard for me. ^_^ *grins* But then, I'd have to CUT MY HAIR~! Which is really really really long (down to my waist). ;_; I don't know if Seishirou's worth cutting my hair for (I'd have to think about it)...I COULD just put my hair up in a bun in the back...but...*sweatdrops* We'll see. Fighting Ursula was a bitch. >.< Literally too. It really really sucked and was really really annoying, especially when she had one more hit before she died, and she killed me first. O_o;
On a side note, Sora's fucking hot with a merman tail. ^_^ *grins* *cough* Don't call me Peddy.
At least Riku's safe ground. He's 15! That's how old Omi was when I started dating him! ^_^ *grins* (Okay, granted that was two years ago...still! ^^;;)
Riku is so hot...*drools* but I'm still firmly convinced he's evil. >.< Grrrrrrrr. Squaresoft and their silver-haired bias again! *explodes* Why?! And worst of all, Riku's all in it for Kairi. >.< Yick, another chick. >.< You know, life would be so much simpler if we didn't have stupid female love interests running amock and needing to be saved. >.< Male love interests make for much more interesting plotlines.

I've failed two of my quizzes for Neuroscience...I really need to get my act together and get my ass working. >.<
I'll try to limit myself to one and a half hours of Kingdom Hearts per day during the week. O_o;;
and four on the weekends.
all I can say is that thank god Monday is Sanity Day. *breathes* I love Sanity Days. they keep from throwing myself off the top of the Green Building. O_o;; (which is what they're actually for...)
So yeah, MIT has these things called "Sanity Days" on Mondays, that guarantee that we have at least one long weekend a month. ^_^;; They're technically called "Student Holidays" but we all call them "Sanity Day." They give the break to us because MIT has had a fairly large amount of student suicides because of the grades and the stress. ^^;; *grins*
If I wanted to look on the bright side of things, I could just say, "thanks, all you people that went 'splat!' on the sidewalk, because now I have a day free to play Kingdom Hearts."
God, I'm morbid. ^_^ *grin*

So yeah, Riku's being corrupted. Wow...why am I not surprised. I mean...let me think about it...he's an RPG character, he has silver-hair. Well duh, that alone qualifies him for evilness. >.< (Let us take a look at Sephiroth, Kuja, Ghaleon, Yunalesca...) Yeah. He's going to be evil purely based on his hair color. Hey, isn't that a type of discrimination? >.< Why can't we have cool good people with silver hair, huh?
Not to mention the fact that Riku has silver hair AND green eyes. O_o;; Ummm...gee, Sephiroth, I didn't know you had a love-child.

Stayed up until 2:30am playing Kingdom Hearts last night. It's the beginning of Rush...and I can't go to anime club...because some rushees might come...yes yes yes. I'll just have to stay home and wait for them while I play Kingdom Hearts. ^_^
Okay, so I'm about to talk a little about what happened...so don't read past this if you want to keep yourself taint-free. ^_^
2nd world is the coliseum...(Hercules)...had a mother of hard time there because I'm supposed to be mage... -_-;; Not good. At any rate, got my ass kicked soundly, so I decided to switch to Brad's game, where he's a Warrior. Did MUCH better. ^_^;; So it's not just that I suck.
Got to fight Cloud, but still got my ass handed to me by Cloud. *sigh* He looks so cool though. ^_^ *grins* Red flowing cape...claw-like hand...sleeping with Vincent...s'all good. His voice rules too. *squeal* I'm so in love with Kingdom Hearts. ^_^ I wanna cosplay as a KH character now! ^_^ *dances* (but who?)
Anyhoo...Boss fight with Cerberus (damn Hades loosed him on me) was HARD. I couldn't do it. Mike could, after like...almost two hours of trying, when he figured out that you could thwack the fireballs back to Cerberus by hitting them with your keyblade. (Who's up for some baseball?)
God, I suck at real-time fighting games. I'm so praying that I get better. *whimper* At least I also found out from Mike that you can use the right analog stick to scroll down the menu during battle so you can get items. *phew* ^_^;; Gotta learn that.
After the boss battle, you get a small scene with Cloud, where he tells you he's searching for someone. Sephiroth, obviously. ^_^ Little bitch-boy wants some more of that lovin' from everyone's favorite badass. I CAN'T WAIT until I get to see Sephiroth~! <3
Too bad I have to fight him...-_-;; Why can't he join me? ;_; I want kick-ass Final Fantasy PCs dammit...not just NPCs. >.<
So I just started Deep Jungle (Tarzan)...and I haven't seen the movie. I know it's not a necessity to have seen the movie...but still...it's kind of annoying that I don't know ANYTHING. >.< (Me Tarzan...you Jane.) Yeah...
Thinking of joining the Kendo team. ^^;; Not too sure, though. Not happy about meeting tonight (NOoo~! Must play Kingdom Hearts!) in the T-Club Lounge, which is seriously the most disgusting room on campus. >.< Ick. It's a dance/martial arts room...except it has NO AIR CIRCULATION...so you walk in there, and you can FEEL the SWEAT particulates in that romo because there are SO MANY floating around. >.< Ugh, that room is really fucking gross. >.< Ick.

So yeah, the voice acting in Kingdom Hearts RULES .^_^ *grins* it's sooo cool! They got Haley Joel Osment for Sora (he does a great job, by the way), and everyone else just totally rules so far! Their voices are so perfect! This is the first time I've gotten a game that's english dubbed that I actually am NOT complaining about! I mean, dear god, FFX was awful! >.< But the dubbing in Kingdom Hearts is great! It's infinitely better than FFX! *dances*
So Mari's ended up switching with Mike (so I'm rooming with Mari now). It's kind of sad, since this was Mari's FIRST term having a single, and Mike just pushed her out of it. (Since he didn't feel it was fair for him to get pushed into a triple... -_-;; Someone tell me how that works...>.<)
Omi was like, "Whiny little bastard!" when I told him.
So Mike and I talked last night, worked things out. Blah blah blah. -_-;; He said he was upset about me talking on my blog...but whatever.
Sheesh. Not like I'm going cry whenever someone talks about me on their blog. (As if I care, anyways.) And I can't go around comfort everyone I've offended with that I say or what I write. Hell, that would be the entire homophobic community, and that would take me years. -_-;;
So yeah, whatever. I think Mike was being a little whiny, but its best not to dwell on him any longer. -_-;;

So I've finished my 9.01 writing assignment...now I have a couple more pages of my 9.00 assignment to write for tomorrow (and yet I have the feeling that I'm going to be angsting about this all night), I have to finish my 7.012 problem set for Thursday (it's technically due in the boxes at Friday 9:30am...but there's no way in hell I'm getting up THAT early to turn in a problem set >.< So I'll have one less night to do it), and then I think I'm free for the weekend. *big gratified sigh*

Okay, so here's the big deal.
And it's not even breaking up because they were only casually dating. They weren't items, and the girl wasn't even really interested in a long-term relationship. She was also seeing another guy at the time.
So yeah, I tell Brad that the girl is also casually dating another guy...
I'm just here thinking, "Dude, get over it. You had two casual dates and a blowjob. You weren't even an item. That's two freaking dates. Stop acting like a big baby."

So he's really pissed off and talking to Brad in the living room. There's a whole bunch of my other housemates gathered there, and I go down to socialize. Mike gives me this stupid glare, and tells Brad to tell me to leave.
Yo, this is my own house too. I'm sitting here, socializing with my housemates. Why the hell should I leave? If your piss-poor ego can't deal with the fact that some girl broke up with you after casual dates, I think you should be the one leaving. I'm just minding my own business, having a conversation with my housemates.

So one last thing...I told my friend, Brad, in confidence about my friend casually seeing another guy. I told him NOT to tell anyone. So now Mike's all pissed off at me and the entire house is incredibly concerned about my safety. *is annoyed*
I'm pissed of at Brad too, for telling Mike. But I'm not going to be stupid about it and glare. I'm just going to treat him civilly, ask him why, tell him not to do it again, and that will be that. >.<
Okay, so yeah, if I really came to long, extended fight, I probably wouldn't win against Mike. I'm a 5'3" short, thin, Asian girl. I can barely lift 30 pounds, and Mike's 6', probably benches around 200 or so pounds. He could lift me up and run me into a wall if he really wanted to. -_-;; Seriously, when someone that much stronger than you threatens bodily harm, I think I'll take it seriously and take some precautions.
