  Still writing journals
All the latest haps are in my journal pages, not here. But there's some newish food sightings in EatIt!, and instructions on how to become a Sex God(dess), and my proposed political soap opera AS THE WORLD BURNS. (OK, so the last isn't new, but I haven't mentioned it before.) More to come soon. Enjoy.

PS: Is lying to justify a war an impeachable offense? Irrelevant - scumbags don't impeach and remove other scumgbags of the same ideological stripe.

What Is Psychalking? Psychalking is a method for paranoids to communicate with each other about dangerous mind control hot spots. By leaving special symbols written in chalk on pavements, walls, slow-moving pedestrians, and other objects found around town, a paranoid can warn his or her peers of local mind control dangers and advise on a proper means of protection.

Oh yeah, I sent the following little letter to Time re: the article 3 FLAWED ASSUMPTIONS. Will they print it? Stay tuned:

"There is a reason the chickenhawks who authored this war believed that Iraqi troops would surrender to the invaders - that's how THEY think, that's what THEY would do. They are cowards, unwilling to put their butts on the line, unwilling to fight for their country. Any Iraqi willingly resisting the invasion is infinitely braver than the amber flocks of GOP noncombatants."

A WARMONGER EXPLAINS WAR TO A PEACENIK
I saw the above a few days ago, but it's too good to let it slip by. Read it and be pissed and/or amused. Also be amused by INFO: IRAQ AT A GLANCE and SADDAM'S CYBER PALACE and SADDAM'S FAVORITE STORE, and by Monty Python's THE BRIDGE OF DEATH and by George W Bush approaching that bridge. But you won't be so amused by the IRAQ WAR QUIZ, or the real news of the Slaughter at the Bridge of Death:

"The Iraqis are sick people and we are the chemotherapy," said Corporal Ryan Dupre. "I am starting to hate this country. Wait till I get hold of a friggin' Iraqi. No, I won't get hold of one. I'll just kill him."

"I was shooting down a street when suddenly a woman came out and casually began to cross the street with a child no older than 10," said Gunnery Sergeant John Merriman, another Gulf war veteran, "...this time I took her out with my M-16."

Hey, lighten up! Cogitate on the TALKING POINTS MEMO (smart analysis) and Shoot THIS! (a nice mix) and The Incredible 9-11 Evidence We've All been Overlooking. Oh yes, and why and how to Stage A Coup In DC. Hmmm, I guess this is pretty serious, after all. Well kids, remember to SUPPORT THE TROOPS AND JAIL THEIR LEADERS.

  Seen a Ghost?

WHY EXPECT IRAQIS TO SURRENDER?

I was pondering just WHY the neocons and chickenhawks who have authored and supported the current unpleasantness, er war were so sure that Iraqi forces would surrender, that Saddam's regime would collapse, that the Iraqi people would greet the invaders as liberators. WHY assume that people faced with greater strength will give up, with very little resistance? WHY think that?

And it occurred to me: these guys'n'gals, the neocon chickenhawk warmongers, have mostly avoided military service. They didn't put their butts on the line for their nation. Their children don't go into the military. Why?

Again, WHY assume that people facing greater strength will give up, meekly, happily? Because that's how they think and THAT'S WHAT THEY WOULD DO!

THESE are the "cheeze-eating surrender monkeys!" They are craven cowards, with no guts for a real fight, no guts to face real hardship and danger, no guts to pledge "Our lives, our fortunes, our sacred honor" for their country.

They won't admit that directly, of course. But ask them, "If you were an Iraqi and you saw the Coalition forces coming, what would you do?" And if they say, "Surrender," then you KNOW where their hearts really are.

The proof is in the pudding. They avoided service. And when their assumptions and predictions turn out wrong, instead of admitting their error or even vigorously defending their positions with FACTS (if any), they instead WEASEL OUT, finding someone to blame -- blaming someone else's planning -- even blaming Iraqis for cheating, for daring to defend their own country when it's invaded, for not surrendering when ordered to, for not standing up and fighting like Redcoats.

These weasels lack both the MORAL COURAGE to accept responsibility, and the PHYSICAL COURAGE to have done anything REAL to defend their country. Consider that when you hear them.

  IRAQ SONGBOOK

I've been scanning many warblogs lately, as well as having monitored political forums for quite a while, and I've noticed a basic ideological difference. Antiwar/lefty commentators say things like, "The war is illegal and we're committing crimes against humanity," or "This war will just promote more terrorism," or "the BDU-38 bunker-buster has a kiloton tactical nuclear warhead." But prowar/righty commentors say stuff like, "Scott Ritter is a pervert," or "Michael Moore is an asshole," or "if we don't have enough oil and nukes to generate power, how are those feminazis going to recharge their dildos?" In other words, when they can't deal with issues, they revert to crude ad-hominem attacks. I admit that I see some lefty references to Ann Coulter as a psycho - but of course, she IS.

"Watching U.S. television weather forecasters using maps of the Middle East to explain to viewers the meteorological causes of sandstorms brings to mind the observation of the journalist Ambrose Bierce: 'War is God’s way of teaching Americans geography.' Bierce died in 1914."

  THE NEWEST WORLD ORDER
Laws are for pussies. Real men make their own laws. The law interferes with what you want to do? Then buy the judges and media, seize the armed forces, intimidate the lawmakers and public, and proceed. The Constitution gets in your way? Then shred it. It's illegal to invade other countries? Then screw the UN, invade anyway. It's illegal to use gas and nukes in combat? Then screw 'em all - LET'S ROLL! deal with it Absolute power sure is fun, eh?

  IRAQ FOR TOTAL MORONS

The COALITION Of the WILLING (C.O.W.) led by George W. Bush (GWB) has invaded Iraq (without UN authorization or evidence of an imminant threat from Iraq) in order to destroy its weapons of mass destruction (which we sold to Iraq but nobody can find now). Or maybe to liberate the Iraqi people (whose previous uprisings we shafted) from the despotic regime of Saddam Hussein (whom we installed and have armed and backed). Or because Saddam's regime is planning evil against us (although evidence of that always turns out to be forged or bogus). Or whatever.

Saddam Hussein's Baathist regime must be overthrown because of their links to terrorists (although fundamentalist Osama bin Laden's (ObL) al-Qaedas despise the secular national socialist Baathists and have worked for their overthrow, so ObL and GWB have the same goal). Or because Saddam gassed his own people (even though they were caught in an Iraqi-Iranian crossfire and died from Iranian nerve gas, not Iraqi mustard gas). Or because the COW (the US and UK, with Australia and Poland desperately trying to bail out) want to liberate the huge Iraqi oilfields to benefit the Iraqi people (whom we shafted before). Or whatever.

The Iraqi people will greet COW troops as liberators. Or maybe they'll fight a bitter, protracted guerilla war, same as they did against the British in the 1920's. Iraq has Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs = nukes) and/or Area-Denial Weapons (ADWs = biochems) and will use them against COW troops, thus justifying the invasion. Or Iraq doesn't, so the invasion is unjustified and illegal, and its authors will turn themselves in to the International Court of Justice to be prosecuted for war crimes. Or whatever.

There's more, but why bother?

"Worst Church: The All Saints Church of Sedlac, Czechoslovakia, was looted of all its fine ornaments in 1600. Undeterred, the worshippers of Sedlac set about redecorating their house of worship with human bones. They exhumed the remains of nearly 10,000 people for what is surely the most macabre interior in all of Christendom. The highlights are a bony chandalier, made predominantly of femurs, and hundreds of skulls piled in the shape of the Schwartzenberk family crest. Fodor's Czechoslovakia calls it a 'ghastly fascination'." --Fenton & Fowler
