Blood
(the blond demon) and Ishuca (the redhead human) are the lead bishie pair from Koori no Mamono no Monogatari.  Beautiful demons, sensitive love stories, wonderful characterisations, yaoi-ish twisting of fairy tales, and philosophies that would appeal to X fans (this manga had the answer to "Why should we not kill humans?" way before Satsuki ever asked the question in X13).  What more could I wish for?

Yami no Matsuei Keepers List

Exams are over! Yatta! I can plan my trip seriously now.

*lol* Lika darling, you've really made my day. I'm guessing that the bride is Kamui from the moppy fringe. Thanks. Though I have to add that it's kinda macabre. Almost look like it can transform into the real thing, sort of like a shiki. Not that I mind. *grin*

Bah! According to CLAMP's site, the "Shoujo Teikoku" magazine is going to be suspended after the November edition. Hence they're hunting for a new home for Lawful Drug. Call it deja vu, but hasn't Clover been searching for a new serialisation magazine like, forever?! *sigh* Go back to "Mystery DX". Give me a good excuse to resubscribe to that magazine again!

On the X front, a mook (magazine book) and a novel for the anime series will be released in November. The singles for the opening theme, "eX Dream", and the ending theme, "Secret Sorrow", are scheduled for Oct 24 and Nov 21 respectively, while volume 1 of the original soundtrack (there's more coming?) will be released on Dec 19. More money to CLAMP again.

X-file question of the day: Someone wrote in the feedback form on my fanfic site that he/she likes my Sakura/Syaoran fics the best. Erm...who's been posting Sakura/Syaoran fics of mine that I never wrote?? @_@

In character for Seishirou and Subaru to sleep together in fanfic? *incredulous look*

Considering that they didn't even have a canonical kiss in both Tokyo Babylon and X, I can't see how it can be "in character". Or is this a case of too many "Seishirou and Subaru rolling in the bed" fanfics make it right? CLAMP's Seishirou was never interested in the sex, whereas Subaru is, shall we dare say, a tad frigid. This doesn't mean that I think "Subaru and Kamui rolling in the bed" is in character either, since Kamui is too clueless and Subaru is still... Fuuma is probably the only one I can imagine to be active in that area. Still, fanfic is meant to be an expression of the writer's fantasy. Whether it's Seishirou/Subaru, Subaru/Kamui or even Kusanagi/Kakyou yaoi, as long as the writer gives a plausible set-up leading to the bed scene, any pairings can be in character. Simply having Seishirou visit Subaru's room in the middle of the night just doesn't cut it.

Just finished my Statistics paper. Should do pretty well...unless I messed up my variances with my standard deviations again. You're supposed to square-root the thing, girl! Well, one more paper to go. Child Psychology, and there's no cribsheet this time. I need space in my brain, but lemony visions of Subaru and Kamui are taking up too much space.

Lika-chan! Touch wood!! *knocks Lika on the head* That is like my dream vacation, plus I haven't gone on a holiday for like three years. If anything happens to spoil it, I'm coming after your neck with a shinken. *Kamui's glare of death*

Time to plan for a new layout soon. What shall it be this time? Something from E'S? EIJI-SAMA!!! *fangirlish scream* I'll have to keep Yuuki-kun for my birthday, if I can find a good picture of him.

Here are two of my favourite cuddly-wuddlies usurping my bed -- Kira-chan and Loki-kun. (BTW, Dencity is being a pain as usual, so please hit the "refresh" button if nothing pops up)

MeeeeeoooowwwWW!

First, some social blogging...

Kristin is BAAACCKKK!!! *worships the ground she walks on* And so are her translations! Permit me to join you in the hat chewing thing if that's not the case too. Subaru, when the time comes where Kamui promises to do anything you ask of him, it had better not be a box of "Mr Donuts Angel Cream"! I'll personally ram my fist through your empty head! My Hershey's Chocolate Sauce is all ready for action. ^_^

Ammie has got a Kamui for me? *beams* Doko doko?! *jumps up and down in excitement*

Lika, happy to know that you still managed to enjoy more mooncakes. BTW, do they sell rice dumplings (wrapped in bamboo leaves), aka "zhong zi", in your Chinatown around the months of June/July? Love that stuff, but my mom's stopped making them a few years back and I'm too lazy to learn. Thankfully the commercial ones don't taste too different from the home-made stuff here.

I know the feeling, Meta-chan. I almost felt like killing someone when my last computer died. Hopefully, yours will return in one piece, with every important data intact. I missed your Sei-chan

Onto other stuff...I do enjoy my Japanese classes, but sometimes I feel so alone. I've been taking classes for more than a year and have gone through at least three different classful of people during that period, yet I seem to be the only person into manga. A minority are doing it for their career. The rest are into SMAP and J-dramas featuring Kimura Takuya. *sighs* I must be in the wrong school.

I've been a bad girl. Despite promising myself to stop spending like a running tap, I ran off to get my Chinese copies of E'S 4, Saiyuki 8 and DNAngel 5 today.

Can someone please explain to me why I find Eiji-sama so dangerously attractive, and yet despise Seishirou that much? Could it be that Eiji has *gasp* more personality? I love his scenes. He is both Fuuma and Seishirou rolled into one attractive package. Yuiga-sensei ought to give him more exposure...or at least create a yaoi omake featuring Eiji and Kai. *dreams on*

I've finally removed those humugous X postcard piccies from my site. Hopefully, I won't be getting that irritating message from geocities again.

Incidentally, I sought the help of my sensei regarding another sentence of Fuuma's that I wasn't confident of. "Mada sono toki denai kara to mo ieru na" should roughly translate to "I can also say that the time does not exist yet." Since Fuuma was referring to the existence of Kamui's mysterious wish, I interpret this to mean that Kamui cannot create a kekkai because he still hasn't got someone to protect yet. And if we look at four pages of Kamui going all miserable over Subaru before that, it is very possible that CLAMP is setting up Kamui's expected wish to involve Subaru. Fuuma once said that once Kamui can create a kekkai, he (Fuuma) will also gain a new power. With Fuuma now on his way to meet Subaru, the new power is very likely to be his new Sakurazukamori. While Kamui might have sworn to stop Fuuma at all cost, he isn't going to be able to bring himself to hurt Subaru one bit. On the other hand, it's tough to imagine Subaru suddenly turning into a bloodthirsty monster. Unless his gentle self has been completely buried with Seishirou's death that he has become an empty killing shell.

Blood broke free at 10:27 p.m.(Sunday, September 30, 2001)

Bad me made a grave error with the translations. Seems like Fuuma is about to pay Subaru a visit soon. *wails* This is terrible. Nobody ever got out of a meeting with Fuuma in one piece, except for Kamui, and then even barely. All the others lost their heads. I do not want Subaru's pretty head displayed on that psycho's mantelpiece.

Anyway, if you're still having problems accessing the updates, please go here. I've only mirrored the Asuka updates and scans but not the entire site.

The Asuka updates are finally ready. Sorata/Arashi fans rejoice! Please note that there might be some problems with accessing the site since it has apparently exceeded the monthly bandwidth. Just try again in an hour's time. Sorry for the inconvenience.

In the meantime, I have a heartless onmyouji to catch and throw into a locked cage together with my poor Kamui. And no, I'm not talking about Seishirou.

A Wild/Blood fic? *licks lips* I shudder with sweet anticipation.

On the Asuka side, I'm not that lucky. Japan holiday meant no shipment arriving today. The guy said it'll probably be Thursday before I can drool over Kamui angsting/pining over Subaru again. I tell you, CLAMP is definitely setting up something for the two, and it had better be good. Meanwhile, Kinokuniya has requested that I pay a deposit for the X calendars I've reserved.

I'm really in love with my Card Captor Sakura posters. I had to admit that I was initially quite taken aback by the price. But it's quite a steal considering that I'm getting 30 posters for about SGD142. Plus 4 of the posters are specially printed with metallic gold paint touches, and two others are done on special paper (those translucent heavy art paper that feels like something between wax and plastic). I can't imagine what CLAMP can do with X. Hopefully, the marketing people at Kadokawa are as imaginative as the guys from Kodansha. *drools*

On the events of the past weeks, here is something to ponder seriously.

Blood broke free at 08:39 p.m.(Tuesday, September 25, 2001)

No Asuka yet today. Sunday was a Japanese holiday and so there might be a wee bit delay with the shipment. If I'm lucky, I'll get it tomorrow. Urgh!

However, I did finally get the beautiful Card Captor Sakura Poster Box set that comes with 30 gorgeous B3-sized posters, an "Official Art Works" booklet and a T-shirt. I suppose I can wallpaper my room now. Or sell the posters individually for a profit. Anybody wants Yue staring from their walls? Perhaps for the price of the moon you could. *evil grin*

I've added Epeeblade to my blog list. Thanks, Lika, for letting me know.

Sat-chan, I'm disappointed to hear that OCS can't bring in Koori no Mamono no Monogatari. The titles are listed on Kinokuniya's website. The publisher is "Tosuisha" and the ISBN for the first two volumes are 4887410549 and 4887410603. Hope that helps.

Pardon my mistake. I've obviously confused Inuyasha with Kurama somehow. >_<

Leareth, and anyone who suspects that they might have gotten that nasty Nimda virus, there's a small scan-cum-fix program available for download from Trend Micro.

*mutters curse* I spelt Sugiura Shiho wrongly. Moral of lesson: never do blog changes after midnight.

Meta-chan, that's a cool layout. I see you're now including foxboys in your pimping list too.

My X Shrine has hit the data transfer limit on Geocities and I can't view it now. Do I have any huge files in there? I certainly don't recall encountering this problem before. What's the limit anyway?
