About time I added Isa's blog after having lurked around for so long. I am happy to know that Yakusoku intrigued you. I was initially a little worried about how readers would react to a promiscuous Kamui who's probably slept with everyone in town except Subaru/Fuuma/all the usual suspects, but it was a necessary part of his mental state. Will try to work on the next part, once I can get my parents out of my room. They're obsessed with Solitaire on Subaru (that's the old PC which came back from the dead).

To celebrate 10 years of the serialisation of X in the Asuka magazine, Clamp has specially illustrate a pair of telephone cards. The first card, featuring posterboy Kamui, will be a zennin item (urgh, who's in Japan and can get me this?). The second card will be sold in Animate shops across Japan in mid-April, together with a special case to hold both cards. Guess who'll be on the second card. Not Fuuma, but that other Posterboy of Angst, SUBARU! I am oh-so-happy. Though they're on separate cards, but they're a commemorative pair. Is this a sign that Clamp is going to illustrate the lovely boys together more often in the near future? *prays hard*

As for the Asuka instalment, I'll get around to it after work.

The Chinese version of Lawful Drug volume 1 is out in the stores now. Like Shirahime Shou, it's published directly by Kadokawa Taiwan, instead of through the usual Tohan (X, AL, Wish etc). Which is a great thing, since the "whiteover" effect used to replace the Japanese scripts with Chinese characters, especially in dark backgrounds, is almost nonexistent. I wish Kadokawa Taiwan will re-release X with the better quality finish, particularly since Tohan has betrayed the readers by using worse quality paper for X16, as compared to volumes 1-15.

Recently, Daisuke's death has somehow confirmed my suspicions that CLAMP is planning to go warpy on the issue of wishes in X. There probably won't be a repeat of Magic Knights Rayearth-style philosophy here.

What am I talking about? In Seiichirou's side-story in X12, Seiichirou told boy-Daisuke that the power of the windmaster would serve the caster best when applied towards protecting the caster's most important person, which in Daisuke's case was Hinoto. Ironically, Daisuke died because Hinoto got caught in a column of air that was being manipulated by Fuuma, and he threatened to tear Hinoto apart with it. In the end, Daisuke was betrayed by the air (wind), although his wish did come true in a way since Hinoto did not die.

We all know what happened to Subaru's wish. Kamui's isn't coming around any better. And Kotori's wish ended up with her dead. I suppose the only person who got the best deal out of his wish has to be Sorata.

Shell, are there any weird scripts running on your blog? Cos' I keep getting Yue and his "page unavailable" error prompt on my IE6. My office's IE5.5 seems to work fine.

Dad is suggesting that for the next family vacation (no exact plans yet) we could go to the Canadian Rockies instead of Japan *again*. I love Japan. I haven't been to Kyuushuu, Hokkaido or Okinawa yet. And I want to see Tokyo again. Plus I hate 20+ hour flights. But I heard that the Rockies are beautiful, and maybe, just maybe, I'll have a chance to meet up with you?
