Listening to: Gackt - Memories
The day started at around 9:30 PM when I rushed to the bank. From there I ran to 5th ave and 53 thinking I'd take the E or F there, that I'd make it time. No. It closes at 9:30 PM so I ran back to 3rd ave and 53 and took the E there. Thankfully the whole trip was around 45 minutes to get to St. John's. I arrived at least 20 minutes before 11. The session started five minutes later, not its scheduled time, early, which is great, too. 'Got my laptop and bookbag and dodged UPN 9 news. When we were being informed about the lappie (ThinkPadI40 I believe) the reporter started talking about this event. Why today, the last day for these distributions? >.>;; I came home at 1 exhausted (I still am).
My brother's on it right now, apparently because he's awed by the magnificent power of the lappie. He's drawn by it.
Yes, it came with broadband but I don't know how to connect it^^;;;;;;; Damn.

Listening to: Soundtrack to DOA3
I'm back^_^
I thought the trip was well-deserved. The high point was on the last day when I was taken for a ride around NJ's countryside. I saw sheep, cows, and horses. When I saw the sheep I almost pressed myself against the car window (so much enthusiasm for sheep>.>;;). The backyard of the house I staid in was pretty large even though it's shared by three other houses. From time to time we got visits from a family of deer (up close too). This other time we came back from a trip and saw a squirrel eating an apple with its tiny fingers, twirling the apple around.
Around last Wednesday we drove to a tennis court where I met this 17 year old Russian prodigy. I wanted to get him to say "mada mada da ne" ^^;; but couldn't because most of the time my brother was boasting about how he wants to be a baseball player. Handsome guy, but nothin' would've happened between us (hell, I don't think I'll see him again) which isn't a big loss.
Friday was a long drive to PA where I bought Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman at a small bookstore. I finished the book in about three days. Highly recommended. I crossed the Delaware *waves flag of triumph*.
I missed NY. The only time I realize how much I love home is when I'm away. Then I come back, so happy, so tired. X_x;;; The bus took three hours from Bridgewater to Port Authority.
*slumps*
Good to be back. Next time I'll keep in mind that bringing a camera would be a good thing.

05:27 p.m.
Listening to: sounds of the Mets vs. Diamondbacks game
My family is deeply saddened (and surprised) by the death of actor (among one of his many talents) Gregory Hines who died of cancer at the age of 57. RIP.
I'll be going to New Jersey on the 16th until the 25th with no internet access. I'll live.
SJU sent contracts for the lappies. In it they specifically indicate not to download any additional software which of course will be difficult not to do because I need winzip, winamp, and winmx. I dunno if I should download PSP 7...I only use it for HTML codes and screencaps. The lappie pick up date was moved to the 27th which is a request from my mother. I would have picked it up on the scheduled 21st but I don't want to have my mother's friends drive me from NJ to Queens. Also, I have to de-register from CCNY.
The previously mentioned scholarship that I thought my mother won't get will apparently be given to me. Lucky, ne? So now my mother has to pay appx. 8,500 dollars per semester. -_____-........And when I do get my green card I can apply for federal aid. I don't think I will transfer--a lawyer told my mother that graduate school is most important.
I'm on an SKU kick. I'll be buying the first OST all because I saw half of the movie from the end. *sigh* Tougaaaa....

12:06 a.m.
Listening to: Seki Tomokazu - FFWF track 11
Seriously, what makes my mother think that after SJU sent the bill that they'd magically add another scholarship and cut some more money off the list they supposedly wanted to work on? Not gonna happen. Besides, I'm not the least bit excited about college. I just hope they won't track my lappie activities when I'm loading files from WinAmp...And then there is also the unusual schedule that hurts my brain. Really, a class on Saturday morning? >.>;; Hope I'd somehow pull a 3.5 average this year.
Suddenly I have this urge to see X~ocho~ because of Kakyou. That one evening when I stayed up until 3 AM made me relate to his loneliness and then plunge into writing an angst fic. For the past few days I've been listening to all the X TV soundtracks. Mm. Kesshou.

11:54 p.m.
Listening to: Republica - Ready to GoDamn it, my comp was too slow and deleted the entry, so here comes a spin on another one. I started writing a fic that involves the following: yukixakito, yukixharu, akitoxkureno, shigurexayame, shigurexmine, kyoxhatori....whew, that's it. The sudden urge comes from the need for yukixakito fics as fanfiction.net had really poor ones. Here's a short snippet:
The hot springs resort was always open to the Sohma family even when it was closed on many occasions. Maybe it was because the owners could not contain themselves and drive away almost every single visitor because they believed the latter thought poorly of their services. Unfortunately the latter thought the owners needed to be helped in many ways than one because of their outrageous beliefs in their own incompetency.
No.
That was not the only case.
They were just plain scary.
The Sohma family knew all too well of what to expect when they arrived. Their hosts greeted them with the help of their crossdressing son, Ritsu, who unfortunately spilled a few refreshments over the sides of the rails into one of the springs.
"I'm so soorrrrrrrrrrrrryyyyy!" wailed the young man who grabbed a pail, starting to scoop some orange colored drink from the spring. Some of the Sohmas walked by with gigantic anime tears on their heads. Yuki, on the other hand, stopped and helped or else the hell would never end.
Yuki always insisted on helping. It was part of his nature believed to be flawless by his worshippers (I mean fans, I mean friends, I mean...). As Yuki comforted the wailing Ritsu he noticed a small black car pull up near the parking area. It did not seem to be in his interests; he knew whom the car belonged to and who was driving it. He did not believe that after so many months he would appear.
Akito stepped out casually from the black car dawning an all black outfit that thinned him. He was sporting a lighter appeal regardless of what he wore. It seemed to Yuki that Akito looked serene, if not serene in a slightly demented way. He didn't think Akito could have forgotten or really meant his apology that he heard from him in the medical ward as Kureno craddled him. Kureno, too, bothered him. Yuki could not think of a good enough reason as to why Kureno would love some one as demented and cruel as Akito. Just because he was cursed with being the rooster acting as if he is attached by the hip to Akito in his service did not mean that this was the man he would love. Why a man? After spending so much time with Akito, didn't he know how much of a sadist he was? And if he did, shouldn't that factor scare him? It hadn't, Yuki thought. It never will.
He hurried to his hotel room not wanting the clan head to see him. He couldn't care at that very moment for Akito to start remembering what he did to him and how much Yuki hadn't enjoyed it.
The hotel rooms were styled in a Western fashion instead othe traditional appeal the large house presented. Yuki expected two futons but instead saw two beds pushed together. He knew why--Haru must have already dropped off his luggage in the room and made the proper arrangements for the evening. Yuki smiled to that and set his own luggage on his side. He then let out a sigh before changing and walking downstairs for a soak.
I think I may be inaccurate on the actual resort, but what the hell, it's just for fun. Note: some details come from my rp with C-chan which this fic is based off of. ^.^;;

08:16 p.m.
Listening to: Weiss Kreuz - Velvet Underworld 03
I managed to call my Japanese professor today. I have a fear of calling others which I'm trying to get over. The reason I called her home was to see which level of Japanese she would prefer me to take. I expected a test but she asked me a few questions regarding my competency in the language explaining each level and then said that her status regarding my placement is flexible (which means I can as easily be placed in Japanese III if I find II too easy). Whenever I attempt to speak Japanese I always try to find a way *not* to speak it because I'm shy and I'd prefer not to say something wrong. Btw, my textbook will cost eighty dollars.
Another triumph for the day: I found a book that holds my interest (which might slightly bash Catholics across their heads) which is, ta da, Living with Saints keeping my interest just barely. I bought Chobits VI too to translate my Young Magazine edition.
July is coming to an end already. Just one more day and then August. I'm not that excited about classes; I have one of the most awkward schedules to date. Having a sort of field day class on Saturday may make up for that one afternoon class on Tuesday and Thursday.

You're ShigurexAkito!
Which Lishy Land Fruits Basket Pairing Are You?
brought to you by Quizilla
Dude~~~! Different result this time, but it's still good. I think I got HatorixAkito before. Grawr. When you hover your mouse over the image it says:
"You are ShigurexAkito. This is a love characterized by lust, jealousy, and feelings beyond one's control. Unstable, it slowly tears both lovers apart at the seams, leaving them both broken."
Sure. I can see Akito breaking Shigure and vice versa although I'll have to say Shigure will do the most damage possibly because Akito saw that he was on Tohru's side and not his. Hm.

Listening to: Daft Punk - Superheroes
Sarah-dono, you have made my day, really. I had no idea watching Earthian and commenting on everything from the seiyuu to the artwork could be so much fun. Please bring the YYH movie with you next time. *hugs*
It's coincidental how Inoue Kazuhiko gets to play Kagetsuya and Yuki--they're two quite similar semes. Sasaki Nozomu was Chihaya (I recently found out he was Yusuke's seiyuu too). But wow: ChihayaxMessiahxKagetsuya *fans self* and it was so blatantly obvious that Kage-kun was jealous of his uke. They should animate Loveless now. Yosh'!
And we just had to see the Eva episode with Kaworu. I finally found the allure, lol, of Ishida Akira. I'm starting to love his voice ('bout time too). Why pack the idealistic boy in one episode when his relationship with Shinji could have grown?
Quote of the day: "Now it's time for your spanking." -Youko Kurama to that kid on Shishi's team who let him out thanks to that box.

11:52 p.m.
Listening to: Noise from above >.<;;;
It's after 11:45 PM and all of a sudden I hear a loud BOOM from the neighbors. I dubbed their loud music "the beating of the heart" because it sounds like a beating heart in here, through their speakers. Ouch.
Andrew: you hear that Nast', the hearts have gone technical.
*dies*
I missed YYH today, unfortunately. A friend raved about how unbelieveably hot Hiei was to which I answered, yes, I've seen the episode before *cries*. Shishi's going to be on tomorrow. He is the creepiest character of the whole show besides the clown.

01:31 p.m.
Listening to: Glay - Winter AgainYet another layout that doesn't make any sense. If you look to the top of the page you can see the fold line. I chose this image because, duh, I liked it and it was unique as well. I haven't seen this picture on the Internet so I considered scanning it.
I went to the opera yesterday. I nearly slept through the first three acts, lol. I'm not usually like this at the opera though! No offense to any opera goers, but the one I went to (forgot the name) was boring. This ranks second to Turandot. My favorite is Le Nozze de Figaro. So, back to this one, I was awake for the last three acts. The opera was Russian, and whenever there is a Russian opera with Gergiev in it as conductor it always attracts the Russians (naturally being one myself). But the only problem, and I can call myself paranoid and neurotic for this, was that the Russian people around me were like vultures.
It was during the first intermission and I was happy the lights came back on. It shot me right awake. I took out the program and began reading. Then, all of a sudden, you hear these old women gossiping LOUDLY about how I was sleeping before (I wasn't) and now I'm reading. Then they walk next to me somehow and look down at me trying to get my mother and brother's seats. They were listening to my convo with my brother, too. Also, my legs ached. I was in the same seat for about four hours. I stood up only twice because whenever I did this old man behind my row would look me up and down!
For the first time I wore a skirt to the opera; it was an all black outfit. My mother remarked about how I looked like a witch at least 20 times (great, so my theme song is "Dark Side Stories" lol). When we hailed a cab I stepped into a big puddle too, to get myself into the car. Oh, water, water in my shoes...heh, heh, I think I made a big deal out of that all the time.
I went to St. John's on Monday to get a whole new schedule and my storm card. I'm getting my lappie on August 21 when my mother will be away. My classes: Elem. Japanese II, Theology (Eastern Orthodox Christianity (taught by a GreekXD)), Philosophy, Discovery NY (on Saturday mornings), and Government and Politics of the Far East. I can't wait to get my new school supplies^_^!!!
