Graduation, wooooooot, class of '03! I was surprised. So very surprised because...

I received an academic achievement award from a NYC Council speaker (thank you, Miller-san) and a medal for French. This is the question I kept bringing up: since when did my school have French? lol. I thought Mi-chan was going to get that one, but no, she got two others, and was, like the rest of us, surprised.

C-chan and otouto-san were fighting as usual. They looked like a bickering married couple. Of course Ashrey was crying *hugs.* I hugged lots of people and wished them luck and, one of the other highlights: I wore a really nice outfit that did include a skirt and a beautiful top and my hair is shorter than my shoulders. But my feet did ache and now I know why heels are bitches. X_x 15+ blocks in heels hurts me.

Plans for the summer? I'm going to Russia in July for two weeks because my mom needs to change her passport and maybe, just maybe to New Zealand for a week. I'm going to the BAAF in August with a bunch of friends who're cosplaying^^ and as for college, it's CCNY for a year and then I'll transfer to Princeton or Columbia. Yes, I think I might do very well.

Mi-chan, I still don't understand how you received a 79 in physics while I got an 80. Mystery.

So now there is a TV in my room and I hooked up the VCR there on my own (yay). Today I was watching the seiyuu sessions from WK. I watched the Jankenpon (sp?) part once again. (So hysterical, btw~~!) I reallllly want to go to a seiyuu meet in Japan. Sarah-dono, you must come with me to the Seki Tomokazu one and if Suzumura Kenichi would have one, we would drop everything and go. Woosh.

I'm supposed to prepare for graduation about now. The hair needs to be done and the outfit needs to be put together, and oh, the shoes, I want pretty shoes, not the old dinky ones which don't match the outfit at all. Why am I thinking the headgear will fall off when I'm coming down the isle because my head is too big for that ornament? Really, the purpose of the grad-hat is to complete the outfit, but it doesn't fit me so well. XD Yes, I know I used too many words to name one solitary hat thing. *nods*

Today was the last day for practice and report card day. I received 2nd honors^.^ I did not expect it though. AP Engrish had a big fat 85 under the 4th quarter. So when the teacher is not here for half the quarter, I get better marks? It seems so. I was disappointed though, because I could have tried this quarter and gotten first honors, but I slacked off. Ick. Oh well. Surprised was I when a few of my friends did not receive first or second honors when they usually do.

Socialness, ahoy~~~>

~ C-chan, uwaaa...wanna rp some more SuzuxSozou. They're so kakkoii together. I want to see the pics, lol. Where's my show???? XDXDXD!!!
~ Didn't you see Spirited Away? BTW, sankyuu deshita for the commentary on my artwork. It can improve (at least I hope it would) and yours will as well (over time).
~ Sarah-dono, where are you? Genki nai no da? Congrats on this Saturday.

I'm going to the Mets v. Mariners game on Sunday for my brother's b-day. I hope the Mariners are going to win. No, I know they're going to win. Yosh'!

I haven't been in the best of moods due to my mother's upcoming heart surgery. She's acting very reserved and telling me what to do in case she dies, what to accomplish, etc. All in all, she told me to go on a shopping spree with my brother. That was unexpected, but I'm not going to argue with it. I have been praying for her a lot lately because she's the only parent I have left. Not the best of news too, seeing as my brother wants to call my father who is a natural born liar and will do anything to avoid paying anything because he doesn't have the money. He did tell my mother's friend that he is paying once a month. No. Not happening. Not with him.

Graduation practice is the whole week. I'm not going to the reception on Wednesday because of my mother's scheduled surgery. Now for the practices, I'm confused just where to go when coming to school--the church or the auditorium? I don't think I'll bring my yearbook even though many people want to sign it. -_-;; don't feel like it.

I want to get FAKE and Gravi in English. Want it. Also the Jetset Radio Future soundtrack if it's available.

June 20, somewhere around midnight, I will be at Borders with my mother, hopefully. HP 5 will be the next book I'm reading and I will read it the second I get it.

You're Shigure - the dog!

Which Fruits Basket Character Are You?
brought to you by Quizilla

Out of all the furuba quizzes I randomly took, this one had the prettiest results pic. On furuba, I'm surprised Kureno is 26. I believed he was younger, but wow! Now I must buy more manga volumes. Also, I joined the Nekozumi Kyou fanlisting. Banner will be put up later today. :3

I am chou~~~happy. I am. C-chan and Ashrey came over! We watched Gravi oavs 1 and 2 and Spirited Away. I haven't seen Gravi in a while but geez, the oavs are kinda corny, mm, some shots I mean. But I think YukixShuichi is sweet. Spirited Away was lovely. It was adorable. Haku is like a chibi Sumeragi (currently dubbed that by me) and his relationship with Chihiro was ...*insert happy word.*

The piccies were developed and my group picture's missing. I don't want to take a retake. C-chan did waste all the 27 shots (and I wonder why she took pics of the TV and the compie). I hugged her lots as well as Ashrey but I licked C-chan's ear XDXDXD!!! But I did so playfully and not in *that* way. She didn't mind at all, but my mother was suspicious, lol. Chris-tachi's image was horrifying *toss* and I did get another sunset pic. The sky was purple/pink.

Graduation is next Friday and the prom was last evening. Christine, share the pics with me, hun. ^_^~~~!

Babble:

I guess I'm not going to SJU (too much money). O.O;; Oh well, my mother will buy me a laptop anyway! I might as well be going to CCNY. The second I said this today, my friends started saying they live nearby (Steph, across the street!) and will therefore attend my classes. This is so flattering! Yeah, um, I will go there. Luckily, I know some one who's going there and it will surprise her that I'm going (it's no one from my high school). I will not be taking Japanese 1! I vow not to as I have forever!

So am I excited? No, not at all. I will miss C-tachi so very much. I was sooou blessed this year with great friends *huggle.*

Omae mo! I will see you this August with a whole bunch of people, lol. I think you'll make a cute Miyu. I'm sure I'm the only one not cosplaying. Now I feel bad...

I'm watching Russia: Land of the Tsars to brush up on my Russian history. The cyrillic with the roman confuses me greatly. I don't know if I'm the only one here...ne.

Finals end tomorrow. I have yet to study for Lifestyles and even AP English. Economics, today, was extremely easy. Ah, and guests come on Thursday. (Sarah-dono...where are ya, hun??? Are you well?) ^.~ Yaho~~~!

Now...shall I put up a HieixKura layout? Hm? Dou omoimasu ka?

Sunday, May 25, 2003

I finally got around to watching the first 2 episodes of Aoi Yori Aoshi. Some thoughts:

- One thing about this anime when I watched the opening was the last scene when a group of girls is surrounding the one male, Kaoru. The first impression of this was: hm, not another Love Hina or Tenchi Muyo or Happy Lesson or...(you get the point).

-"Kaoru-sama" -- Aoi-chan is so dedicated and loves her Kaoru-sama so much. She's a sweet girl who is naive and would do just about anything for him. She's his fiancee! She cooks, cleans, and cares for every one. I'm sure they get together at the end of this series. It's predictable. Why does she have to act like his nanny or babysitter or mother-like person? Of course she loves him and would do anything for him, but what really gets me is that she is a frail girl who serves. I know people are going to argue with this, I'm certain they are, but my point is that she should go around this friendship an entirely different way; why can't she just let him do *his* work. She didn't have to do his laundry and cook dinner.

Overall, I felt like I was going through another typical series. I'm sure this anime is appealing to others, but I was bored. At one point, I hoped Aoi would get a backbone. Please don't argue with me that she will and escape the submissiveness because I haven't seen a lot and prolly won't.

I also saw Bruce Almighty yesterday. It has its symbolism and humor and theme. It was all right. I didn't think it was an insult to God as my mother mentioned or really bad.^^;;

Also spent a few hours chatting with C-chan and for a good ten minutes we were trying to pronounce all the animals of the juunishi's names backwards. I would never think woc and god were so amusing.#^_^# mwahaha!

Since this is the unofficial start to summer, why not a new layout? This one's fitting. CLAMP, I apologize for not using this with your permission. This is meant to be used for entertainment purposes.

Just to let you know, I'm going to the Big Apple Anime Festival too!! I hope to see you there with C-chan and Anastasia (maybe Ashley, too!). It's too bad I'm only getting to know you so late in the year, ne?

The last day of classes was loud~~! My psychology class was doing a countdown and then at 2:30, almost every one screamed, cried, and got very emotional. I received my yearbook^_^!! Unfortunately there were many images of me in there (C-chan, gr...don't make me sign each one). I took lots of pics. I'm saving the best ones for Tuesday though. Oooh C-chan, you better be in them *shakes angry fist*...

*lots of hugs* Aw, I feel the love. Sankyuuuuuu deshita!
