And toping the list of things Nastya won't forget this year is an incident that happened at the lobby of my building. It goes something like this:
A gay neighbor, whom my mother knows well, after shaking my hand for some bizarre reason, *tried* to kiss it. Instead, he managed to get a boney knuckle to come in contact with his chin and lip. He later said it's a European custom and my mother remarked that this gesture means he was raised well in his family.
Whatever. I don't care what tradition it is, it annoys the hell out of me and makes me seem vulnerable and submissive. SO, after I pulled my hand away, he thought I was disgusted by it and looked hurt.
I don't know whether to tell him I'm sorry or whether to be happy for the outcome. Besides, I feel much more comfortable kissing the hand of some one close...or maybe not doing the act at all. *Shudders* Anyway, happy new year minna-san! This new year, I have Gackt's Moon under the tree. FINALLLLLYYYY!!!!

Yay, package arrived from Russia. Loads of pictures (my kitty!!! So cuuuuute!) and tiny gifts from my cousins. ^_^ Yay, knowing one can speak English is good enough for me...or is it two? *shrug* I worked for two hours today filing and organizing. I could have worked more but I wanted to crawl back into bed the second I got back home. I have to at least finish my homework in a few days. My procrastination is awful! I have to at least get something done.
G Gundam starts again this week. I'm not surprised that they restarted the whole series. They're lucky I'm willing to watch the old ones as some of the other fans are. I heart the dub. I hope the ones at midnight didn't stop because I want to see the ending again.
It's a rather slow day for me. I think I can manage to finish a few more books this week. I've been reading three at a time and my head hurts from reading. Aside from that, and rather random I might add, I gave away my Tokyo Babylon tape to Sarah for her to keep. ^_^ I think I'm okay with that. A new feeling: being smitten by some one as we watch Kenichi Suzumura talk and sing about his role as Kamui. To us, he will forever be known as Seki (Tomokazu)'s otouto.
And a happy new year to everyone! I put up my random pioneer anime calendar already. Kanpai!
I advise people to go out and by the soundtrack to A Beautiful Mind. It's beautiful. James Horner's a wonderful composer.

I was so glad to have seen Sarah-chan on Saturday at the Met. I haven't seen her since August na no da! We went to Kino and I bought Animage, NewtypeUSA, and Loveless for under $30. Loveless v.2 special edition was available. I could have bought more though. There was a new Mishima book out translated, Furuba 10 (I was so excited to have heard some one say "Oh, Kisa!"), and unfortunately DN Angel 7 was sold out.
But ne, ne, new layout. I was extremely sick of Chii and Loveless needed to be scanned.
Back to translating the Seki Tomokazu seiyuu article. >.>;; ufyu.

Tired. Sleepy. @___@~~~wah. I just made a few layouts and decided to delete them all because they were too kawaii. I want I winter theme, damn it. It is so hard to find a decent winter picture sometimes. I think Digi Charat is giving me a toothache from the layout I have here.
Today I went to see Catch Me If You Can. I enjoyed watching it. I think the problems with me going is that I love when theatres are crowded because then during the comedic scenes I can laugh along with the people. But the movie? I was glad I saw the 20/20 special on it. It's amazing just how some one under 20 was able to trick the US government.
Tomorrow on the other hand, I get to go the Met with my mother for most of the day and then I meet up with Sarah-chan there to go to Kino at 3:30. Plus I was given $50 for the shopping part which I do not think will be enough. Some one spare me. I can go in and come out spending 100+ (and having done so myself!). Key-chan did not come today like she promised, so her gift will have to wait another year. Tell me, do lotions expire? I think so....*twitch*

Which Stereotypical CLAMP emotion are you?

Right! Holiday shopping left for X-mas: Jan. 7, New Years: Jan. 1 & 13, and for myself on Jan. 28 or 31 because of a certain saint's day (^.^ hee, imenino kick ass).

Akemashite omedetou gozaimasu^___^!
Kyuu...let's see what turned up: CB v.3, The Cider House Rules (book), a Borders gift card, a Japanese-style planner thingy, and....an anime encyclopedia to share with my otouto. I scurried out of bed to watch Jupiter Jazz. Ah, mou shindemo ii!! LOL. While flipping through the encyclopedia, Gensomaden Saiyuki and Tennis no Ojiisama were NOT mentioned. And...I find it strange that Gravi did not have a boy love advisory and that it was compared to Weiss Kreuz. >.>;; You actually have to see the series in order to compare boy bands...but WK was based on one, not about one altogether. Anyway...
I've made a few cards for some friends. Now that I have, I'm sure to be making a lot more. I forgot just a few more (like 5...^^;;;)....and I have yet to see LotR. I'm going to tell my mother I will be going on my own since she's stalling me for some reason. Seeing as she's telling me she's not in the mood is nothing compared to saying she wanted to go in the first place. >.>;;
Ah, right, the weather here is not X-mas-y. It's rain, snow, and slush all in one. No one in this city 'cept my brother and his friend experienced rainy weather at its worst when we were caught in a downpour on the last day of school before vacation. I was the only one who brought an umbrella and yet I was still soaked up to my knees. The rain was coming down so hard....^^;;...and now the mention of it makes me jump.
Right...now with a brother pissed off at anything directed toward him...I'll try to survive yet another X-Mas reminiscing about how I got a small towel as a gift from my aunt while my cousins received cd players and whatnot. It's_not_right_at_all. But it shouldn't be about gifts ne? It's just that this is what X-mas turned out to be.
One last thing...in the news, the Pope said it would be an awful thing to go into war. Isn't that a sign telling the US to stop before Iraq begins its "Holy War?" HW is not the word for it. Those fundamentalists annoy the hell out of me.....

Wai~~~~~~~! X-mas break...and it'll go by so fast. I have to work on Monday at my service site and not to make up hours. I have to type up progress reports for kindergardeners from about 4 locations the school has in Manhattan. (So, that counts as over 200 papers to go.) But I'll be working with my supervisor and I will have to bring my own lunchie, but it's all right. I don't mind $10 an hour. I have to start on my vacation homework TODAY because I want to get everything over with. I won't be going anywhere for break, though. (Note: some one is laughing at me. On the cover of the NY TIMES travel section, there is an article on NEW ZEALAND, specifically Queenstown.^___^ kirei!!!!)
Yesterday my mother was supposed to go to a performance by her colleague's son who ditched Yale to perform. She was not able to go because her colleague stood her up and in turn she got a cold and wasn't able to get up in the morning. Now she thinks it's her fault and the people in her office will look down at her. But it wasn't her fault at all!! The people in her office are so stupid!!! The colleague who stood her up even IMed me! Kuso yarou! *shakes fist* There was this one time when she got two plates when there was a party and some dumb woman in her office told her something about how she doesn't share and how she will never speak to her again or something of the sort. How OLD are these people anyway? And why must we call them adults? Another colleague (who is supposed to be at a higher post) is sitting with an English dictionary doing a report. It's not that she's writing "big words," it's just that she doesn't know how to spell well and her grammar is awful.
....right...and about me now, lol. I'm going to see Analyze That today. I can't wait. I want to take a break. I haven't been to the movie theatres *this* often in two months. Next week I'll see LOTR and hang out with Sarah and Mi-chan. Yay, I feel loved.
During yesterday's fiasco, I was recording snippets from Furuba onto my cassette recorder. Much of it contains Ayame *grin*. Also, I watched the first volume of Yami no Matsuei. Oh, the hilarity of calling Muraki a perverted son of a bitch. I love the way he killed Hisoka!! ^_____^!!!!
C-chan called me from California from a mall. She told me she was waiting for her cousin to get her nails done. I have to pity her because she doesn't get CN. >.>;; Now I am forced to watch Inu Yasha.....*huggle*

All right, so maybe I'm not dead yet and don't plan to shut this place down any time soon. I'm tired~~~and I'm going to miss the x-mas party for senior TAs because of a doctor's appointment to get working papers (who gets working papers to type?). I'm not much of a party person anyway, but it would have been nice. Sarah and Mi-chan made plans to hang out and I found that to be flattering. >.>;; Ah, but my self-esteem isn't that low.
I handed in all my applications and found that my rank was 23/94 which isn't so bad except that every one's average has been lowered. Mi-chan complained she was 4th and not one of the top three. ^__^;;
Don't you just hate those types of people who don't participate in group work and have low self-esteem? Haven't people gotten over the myth that we haven't learned anything in school that will benefit us in the future? And this particular person...is 17. -___-;;; pa.the.tic.
Wah...Cassie called as usual!! *squeaks a la Momiji* I hope you have a safe trip to Cali...and 'Shley-chan!! I'm so sorry your grandmother died. *huggle* C-chan, continue your story!! You're going to write for all 7 years??!! O.O RemusxPeevesxNastya-chan?! That's not something you want to see......
WAI!! WONG RETURNS ON CN!!!! #^________^# (see, Mi-chan, now I'm not the only one glomping random bishies. You had Xellos...*and the pain from my arm did not leave*)...so ufyuuuu~~~~! And Schwarz Bruder gets more airtime too.^_^ Kyoji O.O!!! I think Neo Japan v. Neo Nepal is my favorite episode. Huge hologram image of Wong on screen is a bonus.
"Rain belongs to Domon so I can't let you ask her on a date."
....kids are so cute. It's a free-for-all; insult Chibodee all you want, children.

Kyaaa...so tired...and I have yet to begin my project on New Zealand's government. I'm thankful resources are available though. The only issue plaguing me right now is if there is a transit strike (oh, but I doubt I'm *that* lazy and I won't complete my assignments by Monday). I doubt there would actually be one anyway, but school'll be closed just in case something like the sort happens.
Cassie came on Friday and we had fun. She watched Fruits Basket volume 4 with me for the sake of Ayame ("Now Yuki, take revenge upon your brother!"). Then my brother came over...and once the doorbell rang, she literally jumped on me and then ran into the bathroom because she was scared/shy. ^^ LOL, I'll never make her forget that. Then we finished off the day by writing the HP story she created with the constant interruption of my brother. ^_^ Yep, she did say I have it worse. At least I managed to get her interested in seiyuu namely Suzumura Kenichi.
My mother bought my otouto an early X-Mas present. She thought that the X-box might not offer the two games at the end of next week so she bought him one today. Yay! My DVD player returns, lol. Now I can see The SoulTaker.
Returning back to doing some work now...and hopefully will be seeing the Two Towers on Friday with Ashley.
