eee. pitas smth wrong. kennot post entries for a few hours. now seems ok liaoz :) oops now I realise pple dun understand/misunderstand a lot of things I put in my blog. & if I put things in my blog {and not write it down in my pen-&-paper diary complete with chains and lock from hardware store} means I want pple to see and understand rite? ok from now on I won'e be so vague animore
oh yar and one thing which has been floating around in my mind but I haven't remembered to type out. or maybe I was too tired to type it out-

In a way, the programs we use on the Internet can be compared to real-life, the things in our house- our email address is like our postbox, MSN is like the telephone/handphone, LMS is like our study room, google and other search engines are like the encyclopaedia. And now I'll talk about blogs

For most people I tink it's the living room- somewhere dey invite their friends over and chat and gossip and air their views. Den dere is dis group of people (like me) whose blogs are another part of the house.

for me I feel that my blog is like my balcony in real life- little piece of my own space, somewhere I deco up and format to my own liking [btw now I'm embarking on a project to spruce up my balcony- in the process of cutting checkerboard linoleum to cover the mosaic floor of my balcony-make it cosier :) ken drop by at 42 Lotus Avenue- you will noe it's my balcony when you see it] somewhere I spend time in and think about feelings and life, but at the same time keenly aware that anyone passing by can see me very clearly in the way I present myself.

The balconies of the more luxurious and grand semi-d's in the more affluent and wealthy parts of 6th avenue- one to two bus stops away or in my area far away from the main road (Garlick Ave, generally the whole Namly area, Queen Astrid Park etc.) - are concrete walled and painted in pretty pastel colours. If dey r not, dey haf fancy elaborate pretty pretty metal grilles and lotsa potted plants. Heyhey, HDB and condo balconies are also concreted and painted in pretty colours too :) My semi-d is in the area which is the not-so-rich part of 6th avenue (Lotus/Lantana/Lily ave), and the difference is the balconies are pretty open, it's only got a utilitarian, simple grilled banister to prevent people from falling down, and so very see-through, so it's not exactly a private space. Maybe it's not aesthetically pleasing, but I'm still very proud of my decent house, ok? It's a really decent pleasant little abode. :) Although I'm attached to my balcony, its a "public place" so I dun really express my feelings very openly there. The place I'm most attached to in my house is the bedroom- and yupz dat's where I express my feelings- and that is the part of the house that private blogs are, I guess. The equivalent of my private blog is my chain-and-lock diary :)

eh, disgress too much from main point liaoz. K basically, this blog is not somewhere I discuss and interact a lot with anybody- I dun tok to pple in the balcony (got one exception, but not usually anyway), I tok to them on MSN (equivalent of phone). As in, people usually talk to other people via MSN(phone) and blog (living room). Mine is only through MSN coz my blog is my balcony. Ah... hope that wasn't too complicated. So... basically you notice something very different about this blog since I reformatted it to make it my balcony :) Other than lotsa Seabiscuit pics (I WANT GO WATCH!!!) and links, there is no... tagboard. Hrrm... now tagboards are a sensitive topic :x but I was thinking of dis before the whole thing happened... so... dun tink dis is a reply to anything that happened. It's juz a spontaneous thought kept in my mind for very long liaoz

Went to sch for Chem and Maths remedial :( everything was abt okay... like normal lessons liddat, just tt in 4th level library with air-con :D audrey and joanna so farnie! standing on the conference table fighting with each other trying to see hu should be the one to switch on the projector. "isn't there a more noble way? like using something called a remote control?"- mrs lim staring at dem with this "err..." look. good thing no other teacher see, only serene and mei sum see... and look gaping mouthed at our class... hahaz ;)
chrissie disappeared during maths remedial- dunno wad happened- her stuff was still in the room :S she came late for chem by half an hour, den during maths, suddenly she shi zong... :S:S:S smth wrong...

so weird :S when yinkae's tokking to me she sounds like her. But of course when yinkae's tokking it's more like we are on the same level lar. when yinkae is tokking in her blog she sounds more like me, kind of. If her and me somehow combine, do we end up with yinkae? hrrmm. and juz by describing her a bit yinkae can tell she's nice :) she is. one day if possible muz go intro her to yinkae. see how.

mr kuo a bit ? lar. sometimes really can't figure him out. dunno :S *shrug* I tink his mentality and mindset very different from a lot of pple's and tt's why he did what he did. Still... it leaves an effect on pple around him and I don't know whether he's aware of that. (sorry so luo suo... muz avoid defamation :P)

Hmm forgot to blog about the time went back to HPPS. feel so :P coz everiting thing is so unrecognizable *as usual* and now even more so coz more and more people are wearing the new uniform... no memories left liao.

At least ms ng and mrs idil and gao lao shi are still dere, and haven't changed :) [yeah u still look de same as when you taught us 5 years ago, dun worry ;) nv grow old yeah?]and still recognize all of us :) even though got dunno how many other gep batches dey taught and all come back and I dun recognize... hahaz... we fill them in, dey fill us in... quite happy happy larz... I tink mrs idil saw coz she kept looking... hmmz... nth to hide lar.

But the sch v cute! all the sinks and tables and everything all small small one... and you see the p1s dey look at u wif those big cute eyes... haha... but the sch... aiyaz... become some dead cold shell liaoz. new canteen so bright and cheery colours, but the whole atmosphere is so commercial, like foodcourt liddat :P

Oh well. memories are memories. things change.

Then there was this guy going around our neighbourhood selling some DIY pen-holder for $10 (very colourful and cute!) for Mercy Relief- hahaz so farnie making every single dog in the neighbourhood bark ;) friendly guy

"ok... ok." "nth to sae". True to her name. "What metal doesn't react with acid? Copper (Cu), yar what else? silver (Ag), and gold (Au) right?" - Mr Kuo

or maybe I'm just reading too much into formulas and names. Or studying too much chem. Or thinking too much again.

Went with family to go watch homerun :) nice... typical of jack neo films- very close to sg's heart, satirical, funny and touching... best part of the movie was the end, the very very end- because it brings the audience from the very desirable but unrealistic fairytale happy ending back down to much more meaningful reality- like Feste's song in Twelfth Night =) so glad didn't waste 7 bucks on LXG. Dun pay so much to watch films you prob can watch on TV every day for free :P

They showed the preview for Seabiscuit before homerun started, and I want to go watch Seabiscuit!! And not only because it is a movie about horses- it has a very inspiring storyline, and being based on a true story, even better :) Horses plus nice story equals must-see movie :) much better than senseless action/thriller movies with no plot anyway.

today stay back in sch bake cookies for class party tml :) going to the home ec room makes me feel like a s1 again... haha and how come dis year s1s get to cook nice stuff like shepherd's pie?? when all we cook is either some very not nice salty savoury dish or cookies and cookies and cookies dat we can bake ourselves... hmph. but aniwae the cookies we baked tasted good :)- can't go wrong with cookie mix ;) den the whole class very very conveniently disappeared at clearing up time ("oh, I got to rush off now, got cca, got blah blah blah, oh, very late already) hmmphz left onli shup and me dere 2 clear up. very good. thanx cherie for coming back! :) Den go home, wanted to take my first nap in dunno how many months coz tml is such a slack day... intending to sleep maybe at most for 1 hr plus... went to nap at 6.30pm, wake up around 11.40pm. :P can't believe I'm so tired. and after doing this I'm going off to sleep again. still very tired.

oh but today would be the perfect day to ... since there's nth on tml for them, but... aiyaz... went off to sleep, how?

Yay. Nice layout!! Decided that my blog needed some revamping... then got this very nice layout so why not? Gee feel so proud of myself for figuring all the html stuff out :) getting better :D
