heidi-ho, watsup yo? today is voting day, and i'd really like to use this priveledge i was given when i turned eighteen, but no, homework and laziness are what prevents me to travel back to new jersey and pick a senator.
speaking of turning eighteen...its less than a month before i turn diecinueve. so now its time to post up some material stuff that i want. now remember...its all under 'CATALOG'. i am NOT gonna re-explain the confusion we had a few years back...u lazy readers.
so here's a lil legend:
stuff normally typed like this: something i want
STUFF TYPED LIKE THIS: i need need need need
sTuFf TyPeD LiKe ThIs: something i fantasize to have XP
and that's the end. i just came from drawing class disappointed, so i'm gonna sleep now. good night.
PS: - if you give money...you are most likely guaranteed a christmas gift.
- i'm not being vain about a laptop...its for storage and major school purposes.

HAPPY BELATED HALLOWEEN and a HAPPY FIRST DAY OF NOVEMBER! i dunno if time is flying by fast or wut...cuz i keep forgetting that i've been in school since august. soooo here's what i said i'd post up, a big pitas entry with lotsa pictures AND video footage too! damn, if my art career isn't successful, i can always take a job as a video document-er. i'm sure they pay good XP alright so like mario and luigi...HERE WE GOOOO

ahh...nothing beats waking up at four in the morning and arrive at an airport. this was pic was taken at about seven-ish, while sitting in the airplane. i find it quite strange that 90% of my airline seats are right on the airplane wings. whoosh.
wahoo! this is when the airplane is taking off into the morning sky. the rule was that all electronic devices be turned off...ha ha i was like "screw that" and filmed nonetheless. sigh, twas a beautiful sight indeed. goodbye new york! see ya on monday!
after about six hours of sitting down and sleeping atop of monika, we finally land on the great city of southern sanfransisco. i think its about ten am there.

after riding the airtrain [which i've never ridden before, and i must say riding it was one of the most thrilling moments of my life ><], we rentacar...a lovely chrysler from arizona. i'm not a big fan of chryslers, cuz i felt that the cars look a big chunky, but its actually really roomy inside, and it has plenty of trunk space...which is perfect for us since mom brought like, four big suitcases.
as u can see, its really sunny there. i find it amazing how the trees are still so green, and its so warm outside, at the end of october! we ate out at mcdonalds and i see people with short sleeves, and sandals...and there i was in my white sweater and uggs. sigh.
here's one of the nature pics i took of this bush, or, watever, outside my hotel room. insn't it a pure beauty! when we had nothing to do in our rooms, i would take a walk out the hotel and collect some leaves [as part of an LCD assignment]. there was this really cool cactus flowers i wanted to pluck, but the petals were just to strong, and i'd hafta deeply cut myself if i wanted to take it out. oh well.
around noontime [about threeoclock back home], we met up with tita linda, tita zeny, and tito ray [who came from chicago the night before], who have just arrived after an hour flight from LA. it was a touching reunion indeed, since its been, what two years since i last saw them? of course, we all go to the nearest san fransisco mall [its funny how we are all 'tourists'] and do a lil shopping. tita linda bought me this beautiful white robe with a fur collar at forever 21. u could wear it with anything so in the pictures to follow u see me in it.
the WEDDING the WEDDING. kuya RJ [no...not THAT RJ] and ate anna! of course i reunited with all my other relatives before the ceremony: kuya Jojo and his sons Jorell, Jonah, Jovan, and the newest one, Jordan...Kuya kenneth, kevin, and kenny-boy, ate romichelle and her children nicky and ryan, kuya romijay, kuya romiboy and his children micah and ricky, and of course, ROMILYN ALEX and JESSICA. i find it quite cute how romilyn always exclaims how she deeply misses new york, and i keep on saying how much i missed california. anywayz, i've never met ate anna before, but they truly are a beautiful couple. i remember at that moment i was filled with joy, in the love that surrounded the church, and the deep love surrounding the groom and bride. i just kept on praising GOD on just how much joy he can fill us with. <3 <3

the releasing of the doves! i was so excited by this since i've never seen it before. the bridesmaids and the groomsmen were standing on the sides, as the newleyweds kissed, and released the doves. soon many other doves were released, and together, the doves flew in a circular path, around the church. sooo romantic and truly touching. i have footage of the flying doves and billions more of wedding pics, but i aint gonna bore u wit that...>_^

the reception was at pacific...in this restraunt/bar that overlooks the pacific sea. hello my dear pacific! i haven't seen u since my trip to redondo beach! the atlantic waves at you! omg that was totally not intentional.

ah ha! this is atop of the restraunt near the dancefloor. me, romilyn, and my kevin before we started dancing. of course before there was the traditional groom/mother and bride/father dance [which was s0o0o0o0 touching ;_;] and thte money dance. i pulled out my five dollar bill, shaped it into a bowtie, and pinned it on kuya RJ when it was my turn to dance with him. now what i didn't realize, that this was the first time he has seen me since ate romichelle's wedding [which was like, seven or eight years ago], and couldn't believe how big i got. him saying that automatically reminds me of just how much of a sweet and charming guy he was, i remember him always being like that when i was a lot younger. awww, and he was really appreciative that traveled all the way from the far east to join in his celebration. woohoo!BR>
sorry, i just had to add this. anybody aroused? lolz [btw, that little kid in the tux is ricky...when kuya RJ reached into the bride's dress to fetch the garter, ricky was staring too, and when RJ stood up, little ricky reached his head under ate anna's dress as well. lolz it was hysterical! and i have footage of that too...but im too lazy to show it]
the rest of the night was pure dancing, i hesitated to go out, cuz i usually like to dance with friends, but kuya romijay pulled me in, and i danced for the rest of the night. i was able to pull kevin in and we grooved with romilyn [before she had to take care of nicky], alex, and jessica. kuya kenneth soon danced beside me and shouted 'hey! where'd you learn how to dance?'....that is a very good question. i'd say junior prom year, i decided that i didn't care what other people said, just shake ur thang on the dancefloor, and you'd be fine....yeah i guess that's my motivation...?sorry it was a little side thought...
so sadly, the night concludes, and we must leave the party. the sad thing is that not only am i leaving the party, i'm also saying goodbye to all my relatives. i exchange hugs from everybody, an extra extra hug to the bride and groom, and then we drive on to our hotel home. that was indeed, a beautiful wedding.
alright now here we have a major shift. now it's sunday, and we would spend the day with ate angel [yay! i haven't seen her in years! she's is one of cutest, most chipper cuzn i have in my mom's side of the family! aaah i love her so!], touring around san fransisco. wee hee! i love exploring new places! however i woke up all dazed and confused, becuz well, not only was i not used to being three hours back, but it was daylight savings times...so i felt like it was eleven o'clock, when in reality, it was only seven in the morning. grawr...

first place we go to? golden gate bridge! yeah i know it ain't golden, but i think they name it that since we are in the 'golden state'. its still a lovely sight despite the cloudy day. to the left of the bridge is the pacific ocean, to the right you can see alcatraz, treasure island, the san fransisco city skyline.
next she drives us to the famous 'crooked street'. so she drives us uphill, then when going down, you just slow down and swerve back and forth, until u get to the end of the street. weird huh? but its a one-of-a kind. i dont see why people would buy a house on that street...its on a very steep hill, AND its painful to park.

then we go on to fisherman's wharf...which is the bay viewing alcatraz. we first stop by the ghiradelli factory, then walk around to see the different activities and stores there. there's also a little place on a dock where sea lions gathered around and just...bark all day. since it was october 29, there were all sorts of kids dressed up who were trick-or-treating around the stores. a 'witch' rock band played for the kids right ouside the aquarium and the san fran hard rock cafe. ooh, in this picture, behind us is alcatraz...it was funny becuz there were many stores and vendos selling jail-ware. i should've bought one for monika...

TROLLEYS! i was jumping up and down when i spotted them. the only time i've seen them were in movies! gaaahhh, i should've ridden in one.

after walking around the wharf we went on to chinatown, but of course i asked if could stop by japantown...well, more like japansquare, the place was so small u could miss it if u dozed off while driving [if that made any sense]. lovely aint it?

i dont know whether it was becuz it was sunday, but this chinatown sure was a lot cleaner and a lot less crowded than the new york one. so cute too! i was able to buy a new pucca wallet and a zodiac bunny keychain [momiiijiii].
sadly, it was just about time for us to drive back to the airport. man, i really miss ate angel, her husband kuya karl [no not THAT karl], and especially kuya freddie, ate marah, and their cute songs matthew and mark. however i think kuya freddie and his family are moving to san fransisco in...aw heck i think they already moved in! i really wish to see them again...so when we arrive home, its about five in the morning, but during the flight, monika kept moving and so i had little sleep, leaving me groggy, mindless, and exhausted. since i wasn't completely done with my wood project, i just decided to stay home and go back to school around noon and just attend my evening class....^_~
overall, this short vacation was indeed such a blessing. its so refreshing to just get out of that city and relax in a slow-paced environment. i seriously would love to live in california...be close with all my relatives {and jessi too if she moves here} and just enjoy life. but as we all know, its all in god's plan in where i stay. i do know that if i stay in california, i'd be missing my dear new york city. dang it sux that these two awesome states are thousands of miles apart. blah.
alright...its around 2:20am! so that means my 'happy first day of november' holds no meaning since the entry date will indicate it as november 2nd... and i still need to post up some halloween pictures! gah! ah well, we shall save that for the next entry. ciao lovers!

hmm...its almost 1am and our flight to san fransisco is at seven meaning we must report to the airport at 5am meaning we should leave our house by 4am so logically i only have about three hours to meaning unless of course i decide to play some super-smash brothers for old' times sake becuz while i was waiting for the bus to go to livingston i drank a venti caramel macchiatto and now i am quite hyper. i'm pretty sure that neverending thought-processed sentence proved that.
speaking of livingston...last tuesday, me and my goof pratt friend kuang traveled to, well, LIVINGSTON. he wanted to visit his friend michelle [whom he last saw in taiwan], and i went so i could bother more teachers and visit troxell with mike nardone. after arriving and touring around a little, kuang and i meet mike around 1:45pm. while obtaining visitor passes, i ran into mr. I [looks the same as always], mr. cuneo [or at least mike ran into him], doctora hubert-friscia<3, and mr. mead [sigh...wearing his usual sweater vests ^^]. finally mike and i met up with troxell, and we talked/played around until the bell rang, sigh, it was like eigth period all over again, if only GRACE came. poor kuang was just...there...obviously not affiliated with the school, but rather looking around the computer room hoping to find his friend.
alas! kuang finds his friend, leaving me free to venture out and visit mr. carey once again [once again! u may be asking? its becuz i was home for the weekend last...weekend...and i came home early enough to visit LHS. but i came at the end of the day, so most of the teachers already ran out...so the only people i got to see were mr. J, MANDERSON <3 <3 <3 and Mr. Carey...i told mr. carey that i would come back on tuesday so we could talk longer]. while chatting with carey, JULIE POPPED IN, and we embraced while jumping up and down. sigh...i really missed her...the girl who introduced me to the wonderful world of broadway!
alright the rest of my little rushed-story will begin with THIS PICTURE:

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD! ITS THE C-HALL! WHERE MOST OF MY SENIOR MEMORIES ARE! LOOK AT ITS EMPTINESS! TTHE STUDENTS WHO BROUGHT THIS HALL TO LIFE ARE IN COLLEGE! I WANTED TO CRY OUT IN ANGUISH!
after that little nostalgic moment, and after mike had to leave, i go into the cafeteria to find that there was a DDR club going on...three TVs of DDR to be exact. i met up with tracy and GEOFF, whom i havent seen since july <3. i also met up with his girlfriend diana, who happens to be best friends with tracy! diana also happened to be good friends with michelle, the SAME michelle whom kuang met up with in taiwan. around this time mom calls up and asks that i meet her at wendys...of course at the sound of wendys geoff wanted to come along to, meaning diana wanted to come as well, in addition to kuang and diana. so there i was, being the driver of four people...three of whom i barely knew yet we were all interacting as though we had known each other for years....hee hee i love it when that happens.

here's a pic of geoff's wendy's order...triple beefed cheeseburger. heart-threatening indeed, i'm amazed that he is still alive! so while we five continued talking, we also discovered that diana is the cuzn of kuang's best friend. sigh, its so weird how all of our lives intertwine, its almost scary. [like with me, ate renate and RJ >_o] so after meeting up and introducing mom to everybody, i dropped off geoff to his home [which then, had no water O_O], and i drive kuang, diana, and michelle to the short hills mall:

ah ha! there's us four; me, kuang, michelle and diana...the asian group [btw, this pictures a lot smaller cuz its not mine, i stole it from kuang's facebook ><]

and this picture is besides kuang's "sweet" ride. eh, its not the best pic cuz we're covering it, but i'm showing it to u anyway becuz 1) the ceilings captured in the pic are cool and 2) it looks like a grandma is on my shoulder.
diana soon gets a call to go home... her mom is flippin' out 'cuz diana is out with people "her mom doesn't know", meaning that i had to meet diana's mom and make a good impression. even though i never met diana before then, we told her mother that we took french together [diana insisted we took auto...but not even I would believe that]. i'm pretty sure i made a good impression, becuz her mom smiled and said to feel free to drive her whenever i wanted to...o_O
then it was time to drop off michelle, kuang and i went inside and met with her mom as well..

aww, what an asian picture...with michelle's brother bobbing up behind us. after a last goodbye, kuang and i ventured off back to our college.
so it was a very fun day indeed, even though i got no work done and i was on the brink of falling asleep during the transFORM meeting. ah well...visiting teachers and making two new friends was totally worth it.
woo hoo its one-thirty. im gonna get less than three hours of sleep. sweeeeettt.
PS:
i have a video clip of mike nardone heel-clicking in the midle of c-hall...however i decided not to post it up here cuz its sideways...and i'm on the lookout to see how to fix it. but if u r dying to see it, and u dont mind tilting ur head...ask me!

i know...I KNOW retreat was approximately a week ago...but WHATEVER.
so this entry will prolly be my least descriptive entry of a major event, and instead i'll depict most of it through...yeah u guessed it, pictures. sigh, i love my obi-wan kenobi [camera].
at first, i must say, this camp retreat was SUCH a blessing. the reason i decided to go in the first place was not becuz i wanted to learn GOD's calling for me, but also so i can bond with my christian friends. and lemee say...these goals were met even exceedingly more than i expected. my transFORM gals are my 'heart' friends, and i had no hesitation in telling them my tribulations and constraints. they were more than undertsanding and support me all the way. sigh. having close friends such as these is what is making pratt life SO MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE.
okay now onto the pics:

camp retreat in the beautiful bloomingdale new jersey. scott was right in that new jerseyans have never heard of this town. but its beautiful nonetheless. bekah especially loved the forest surrounding becuz it reminisced of her lancaster environment. this picture arguably may have been where i was doing my quiet time. hee hee, i love examining and taking pictures of nature. in addition, this camp is supposedly infested by bears...sadly i saw none.

these were the lovely cabins we slept in. it seemed like the kind of bedrooms u'd see in orphanages, or boot camps. since i packed as lightly as possible, i didnt bring a blanket or a pillow. luckily leslie and bekah were kind enough to give me extra blanket...so though it was FREEZING outside...we were all warm and cozy.

ah..the lovely elice, bekah, and jennifer themselves. this was when us pratt posse went mountain hiking. believe me...that was pretty hard work, considering that half of the branches i grabbed were thorny.

kuang, me, bekah and elice. i sincerely love these guys.

woohoo! we reached the top! and decided to take a picture of all of us who hiked up [or whoever was left]. wat the heck is scott doing?

aahh, this was during worship time. ths band playing is called 'brent'...and omg they were PURE AMAZING. i bought their cd and have yet to upload it to my ipod. this sunday me, bekah, elice, and kuang will attend the church where brent performs regularly. can't wait for that!

ooh this was the time in which we were playing 'apples to apples'. one of the craziest times i spent on playing such a simple game! [for all u who dont know what 'apples to apples' is...dont expect me to explain the game, too hard to describe in typed words ><]

aww, its eric and nick. cuddling close becuz there was no room left on the busride home.
i'm soo glad i got close with elise, miranda, irene, leslie, and bekah. now i am not AS shy to talk to them anymore ^^
okay on a different subject, last thursday [right before art history midterms], the metropolitan museum of art was holding a 'paris: 1860-1900' theme, in which all college students would gather, semi-formal dressed [some wore burets and had those long smoking sticks], and would walk around the museum while bands played, and lighting flashed. bekah and miranda convinced me to go [such a sacrifice, cuz i missed an important 'office' episode. but no worries cuz i downloaded it], and gosh it was fun. all these different college students wearing fancy dresses in paris style, walking on the mainfloor eating brownies, and one of the best cookies i've tasted...candles on the grand staircases while bands were playing...sigh...pure awesomeness. here are some pics to show how awesome it was:
irene, matt, bekah, me, and kuang. gosh i'm short! this was at the campus waiting for scott, before we went to meet leslie at the subway.
the hatshepsut sphinx on the main floor! how could i NOT take a pic, since i'm gonna be tested on hatshepsut for art history midterm ><
eating refreshments the french-style way. behind us was this movie screen showing images of french pictures...and across the floor were the bands playing. to the side of us was the hatshepsut sphinx, and a man drawing charicatures. i have pictures of all of them, but they came out bad. maybe later on i'll steal from other people's facebook and place it here. this is bekah, leslie, matt, miranda, and irene. <3
afterwards me, bekah and elice went over kuang's room to "study"...more like eat twizzlers, listen to christian music, and watch bekah and elice push the wheeled chair across the hallway [which i have a recording of lolz]
okay my feet are freezing cold and i'm a lil tired. ciao lovers!
Friday, October 13, 2006
woo hoo, i archived my 'sanjuu' entries. that's a pretty cool translation to thirty.
actually i wish that i can create a new backround...maybe next week when i go home i'll have time.
soo...in a few hours i will be hopping onto the bus to the campus crusade retreat. hopefully its gonna be exciting, since i barely know like 75% of the pratt peeps who are coming as well. so the next time i write, expect a long entry, maybe i'll accompany it with pictures or maybe i'll rant about the random activities i'll be doing.
heh...bye for now.
