hi! first off,
thanks for the Happy Birthday message. i guess it's still too early for me to automatically say
i'm __ (<- u know what number goes there ^u^). so my real age just doesn't register in my mind.
tearful goodbye
i know switching to Windows XP was a logical and wise step but i miss my ME terribly. i know that people must think me crazy since ME was a piece of crap. but i grew quite attached to it. i miss how my menus and so on look like. i know there's an option to return to a more classic appearance, and hopefully i can convice my brother to agree to the old look. also i'm wondering if my screen resolution has changed, has
yours changed as well? can i change it back?
maybe this will all take some getting use to, but it's like it's not my computer (my baby) anymore!! ;;U_U;;

What Yaoi Stereotype Are You?
brought to you by Quizilla
You're sweet, loving, but sometimes a bit unsure. It could be your naivety. Youre just a step above Uber Uke, really. You have an idea of what you want, and you often have the strength to go and get it. It's just that you aren't sure of what to do when it comes to love. This could be due to one of many reasons, such as your crush/lover tends to be rather distant and hard to figure out, you've had your heart broken before, you've never been in an intimate relationship quite like this, etc... You're also the kind of good person that bad things like to happen to. Which is sad, but there's no real helping it. All you can do is stick through it and work towards making tomorrow a better day (if you even have a tomorrow, that is)...

most unfortunate that i've been too lazy to do any real blogging lately. i know earlier i said i was going to do some crappy film reviews, but it's been awhile since i've seen those movies and so my various opinions seemed to have dimmed in my mind. but i'll try to piece together a review from what i remeber:
pirates of the caribbean
initially i was not interested in seeing this film, and i knew of it way back when the only advertising was the "coming-soon" movie posters (the ones shown in theatres months before the film's release). ha ha!! i can remember as i looked upon the poster and thought: "ugh!! who is this orlando bloom? some kind of soap opera star?"
months later, i watched Ebert & Roeper review the film on their show (of which i like to consider myself an avid viewer) and basically they both agreed that the film was way to long for it's own good, gaining it a marginal thumbs up (Ebert) and a thumbs down (Roeper).
so i'm surprised that when i saw it i thought it was a lot of fun and didn't feel as if it went on and on. i must congradulate myself in the sense that my opinions weren't greatly swayed/influenced by the critics. i really think
you should watch it and tell me what ya think. that way you can tell me if i have bad taste or not? so in case you'll actually take my advice i won't include spoilers in this crummy review. but what i can safely say is that after watching the film i have more interest in johnny depp's work and i recognize who orlando bloom is... legolas i know (well, i know now that is ^u^).
quick crappy reviews
i've seen other films like "the gradraduate", "the ring", "ringu" and "day for night". so i'll quickly review them: the graduate is a classic that is boring and has a hippie message that makes me grow tired of the characters. the ring and ringu are basically the same scary story told differently... one with a north american touch and the other a japanese one. the two films aren't too scary, but in general i'd say i wouldn't buy either, films for the scary genre hardly appeal to me. plus i hate watching/reading stories that feel unresolved... most unsatsifying i'd say. "day for night" is another classic that's in french & subtitled in english (since i can't follow french my little review will be based on the translation) and it's a movie about making a movie. it's interesting to watch and i'd recommend it.
for my future entry i hope to go blah blah about some of my thoughts concerning movies in general, til then!!

blogging late in the month of september
well looks like i need to archive my past ramblings too, so now there's a fresh slate for the greatest month of the year... am i right?
^o^ guess no new layout again, and who knows when i'll be able to finish my current work-in progress one. and speaking of layouts, my novice coding abilities have left me confused on how i can alter this page's appearance on different browsers.
will blog soon (hopefully ^u^) about the few films i've seen recently where i express my crummmy thoughts in a crummy review. which reminds me... there's this one film critic i've read some "interesting" reviews from. basically they're really funny, so if
you're interested i'll give you the link sometime. bye for now!!!
