i can't make fetch happen
unfortunately i haven't been up to much as of late. i did rent
Mean Girls about a week ago. it's kinda funny though @ times a bit crude for my sometimes delicate sensibilities. all in all i liked it, and it's interesting how it examines highschool society and its cliques. let's see, the cliques i can recall are the jocks, the artfreaks, the asian nerds, the cool asians, those who "eat their feelings", and "the plastics". i don't think i would fair very well in a school like that, can't see me fitting too easily into any of the groups. ha ha!! i'm pretty sure in the end i'd hang around the asian nerds (in-movie reference: now there'll be jackets for the team). which, though i'm far from brilliant... or even bright, isn't that great of stretch given my daily surroundings, right kuu? in fact: the mathletes competition was a very "familiar locale". hey
kuu, don't know if you'll read this, but if you did and saw the film i'm sure you'd know what i mean.
smallville stuff
since i don't really watch this show, i was surprised recently to catch an ep with Lois Lane in the cast. wow! they're actually having clark meet lois before he goes to work @ the Daily Planet. that's really neat. again i haven't been a regular watcher, but lana&clark have never struck me as a great match. then again having only seen the last 20minutes of a lois-present-ep, i can't say if smallville's version of lois would be better. guess it doesn't matter since i hear there won't be a clark-lois relationship in the show; lois is just a special guest. too bad, cause clark with a bossy-competitive-difficult love interest would be fun to watch.
also as a tribute to christopher reeves' passing away, the ep ended with something like the following:
"he made us believe a man could fly"
that was such a sweet thing to say.
hey! lookie @ what i found!!
(aside: that's a lovely premiere date if i do say so myself)

so tired
sigh! been busy these few days doing work which, now that i have a minor break to reflect on it, feels like a waste of life. wish i could be doing fun stuff instead. but yep. hey! i wanna watch the extended lord of the rings: return of the king. i kinda wish there was more lor films.. guess it's cause i like to be in the middle of things. me thinks i'll be blue when star wars: episode 3 comes out too.
don't have time right now to watch many films... and i bet i'll have less time later. that means no time for videogames either. pity pity. i did manage to play animal crossing. good thing i don't own it... i could see me spend tons of time picking out patterns for my umbrella, rearranging furniture in my house and returning borrowed items.
okay i'll stop going yadda yadda. sorry me so tired to write interesting stuff. cheerio.
