venting
geez! just read a fic reminding me of one huge problem i have with the following senario:
person A is interested in person B, but B is currently with person C (<- who is a good guy). after some complete nonsense, B "magically" (as in, i don't know the hell why) loves A now and not C. C catches A&B together and hurts A (as C should!!). but stupid B is like "*smack* i don't get your problem C. i love A now."
holy cow!! what crappiness these fics are. afterall, the writer could @ least have C be a total jerk and A be the good guy that B leaves C for. granted it's a total cliche.. but you know what? @ least it's understandable. what's that? romances don't need to be understandable? ok fine. i guess i'm not the kind of person that'll enjoy a story just say about "a dentist assistant who leaves her veterinarian husband for a guy that eats garbage for fun just because the guy has the letter g in his middle name".
another thing is such stories have favourable reviews too and no negative ones. a lil' bit annoying but i'd be a hypocrite to complain for the lack of negative feedback... since i am writing my opinions here and not telling the writer

. oh well, just wanna air out my feelings and now i'm over it. phew!
edit:
mixed up the letters in my ABC senario.. which, while minor in typing, is a big boo-boo making what i wrote really messed up. all fixed now

tis a quiz

You are a Day Dreamer..
Daydreamers tend to be away from the normal, and have a deeper aspect when looking at things. Most of the time, they're outcasts of the social society, but don't worry. It just means your so deep it scares their simple little brains.
What kind of Dreamer are you? brought to you by Quizilla

♪a horse is a horse, of course, of course♪
last night i was watching a dvd containing Mr. Ed episodes. for those who aren't aware of this before-your-time (and mine too) tv show, Mr. Ed is basically about the friendship and antics of a guy and his talking horse

.
it ran during the early sixties and the eps i've seen so far are all in black&white. it makes me feel better watching these light hearted and sweet shows such as "leave it to beaver", "ozzy & harriet", and "mr.ed". sure life wasn't actually like that but that doesn't really matter. the comedy is sweet and innocent, and you can see how sitcoms have changed over time. i've found that black & white shows, movies, and photos have a dreamy quality to them. they're old-fashioned yet timeless; like the moon landing, which by the way happened exactly 35 years ago from yesterday. and in addition, i also enjoy technicolour, it's vibrant and cheery.
side bit: absent mindedness
i've already told
ya about me walking into a turnstile the other day

.
and in blog relatedness, i didn't add links to my archived stuff for last month and the one before. <- i feel bad bout that. afterall if i'm gonna have a blog that looks so meager, the least i can do is make sure it has what it's suppose to. ^u^;;

info bits
how interesting! i read on a blog that clamp changed their pseudonyms. it's shown on their new clamp site... but i think i'll just stick with the names i'm familiar with.
also i've been reading the info so far released on FFVII: Advent Children. i'm looking forward to seeing it, especially to learn how the whole cloud-aeris-tifa relationship stuff will be resolved. i hear that cloud and tifa have been out of touch... *evil smile* >u<
i actually don't hate tifa, but something in the game made me think that her & cloud as being too predictable and therefore dull. while cloud & aeris have a barrier of distance/separation which is a nice somber state. @ the same time, i can understand why others sympathize with tifa and so would root for cloud&her.
oh well tis late. this entry was sucky. so i'll work on my blogging skills for another time

if it ain't broke, don't fix it
watched two reality shows today.. both sequels: Last Comic Standing 2 & The Amazing Race 3.
after the emotional investment i made in the original Last Comic Standing, hoping that the comics would play nice for a change, i didn't want to watch the second one. but i did see the recent eps and thankfully, due to some eliminations, the sneaky backstabbing element that i despise soooo much in these shows is toned down.
and i think the Amazing Race is the best reality show there is. it's the kind of show that gives me the thrill of travel, adventure and challenge. that said, i still think there are too many reality shows and not enough sitcoms being made. what a pity.
and yeah
you blogged!! which means: i can continue to pretend that my entries
aren't the online documentations of me talking with myself

layout talk
i've did some minor progress with my creation of a new blog layout... but i don't know when i'll actually have it completed. coincidently when archiving last month's entries, i went looking for my june 2003 stuff and couldn't find it in my archive index page. but i found the page and read what i wrote, seems like this dnangel layout has been in use for over a year, that's way longer than i would of liked

. and another thing of coincidence is that clamp also changed its layout a year ago and now it has a new one. i guess clamp changes site layouts every year.
oh! and i took
your advice in trying new things and read Ouran Koukou Host Club. bye for now!!
