*looks @ date of last entry* well it's been awhile hasn't it? ^u^
it's good that you have things to buy, i haven't gone to kikiwai and bought stuff for months. of course it's means that i have been winning the battle against the japanese manga/anime industry over my shiny pennies, but sadly winning is boring. I want to want stuff, but unfortunately i have interest in so little series and thus there's less stuff to want.

let's see, the only series that i like and still purchase products of are X, lawful drug, and brain powerd (if there was stuff i could buy). Quite pathetic isn't it? i mean i like dnangel, megami kouhosei, fruit basekets, gundam wing, cowboy bebop and some others but i don't spend money on them.
Story wise, i'm very behind on dnangel and fruit baskets though, but hopefully i'll eventually catch up on dnangel.

Furuba comments
But furuba could be a different story, there's sooo much i don't know. I just saw some scans from book 9 and i don't know who some of the people are. I do know that one of the characters is the Rooster guy. Although i would prefer that he has no romantic life... like doggie guy. He is rivalling doggie for most attractive furuba character. Rooster guy's personality is so ideal: nice, generous, considerate, & funny. Basically he's the ideal guy for me. *u*
Too bad that he's rooster, we're not compatible according to the chinese zodiac. Okay that sounded pathetic, isn't it sad that these thoughts enter my head oh so often.
And i know you like the cat more than mousey, while i like mousey more. Even so i want the cat guy to get the girl. And this leads me to one of my little problems with stories involving two people competing for the love of another, whether it's two guys liking the same girl or two girls liking the same guy. I hate it when it ends up with no one choosing/getting anyone, where they all stay friends. That is such a cop-out where no one gets hurt, i rather have the less liked person get the guy/girl than such a lame uneventful conclusion. Hopeful furuba will be different, but i wouldn't be surprised if it ended just like that.

Fanfiction complaint
i suppose it's normal to feel dismayed when someone posts a fic containing an unfavoured pairing, no matter who writes it and especially if it's from your fav author or when the summary sounds interesting (the last one happens to me a lot). Reading a story with a pairing you dislike is like eating awful food. Luckly the writers that i like usually sticks with the same pairings, so unlike you that problem never really occurs for me. What does happen, and i think i mentioned it to ya once, is that the author writes for more than one series. In series A they support my fav pairing but in series B they love my most hated pairing. When that happens i feel conflicted towards the author's work, and i usually end up think "Why?!". Heh heh ^u^ i know that just because i agree with the author in one series doesn't mean i'll have similar opinions on other ones, but still it's such a shame.

well the only thing about using "K" as a review name is that it's quite vaque and mysterious, like calling yourself X (except without the aura of murder mysteries and deceit). well basically what i'm saying is that a letter for a name usually gives people little idea of who you are (which knowing you is the point, right? >.~) Too bad though kuu, i find creating a new alias is an opportunity to be creative, which explains why i don't have a reasonable/professional email address to use.

well i'm blogging blind (that means i have no idea what this entry will look like) and i'm sure you have an idea why... yes??

anime verses manga
well i can understand why you'd prefer downloading manga over anime. afterall, getting manga scans are much much easier, generally the art is better than anime, and so are the stories. but of course the last two reasons are dependent on the series. i know for x, the anime story is subpar to the manga, while i like how the orphen anime handles the story more than the manga. *side tracked alert* (though i admit that i haven't read much of the orphen manga to fairly say... but of what i've read, the manga is more silly)

also i've heard that utena the anime is better than the comic version. i agree in terms of appearance and i find naomi an interesting addition, but to be honest the anime story is a more sleazy one. And then there's the utena movie, which looked wonderful, but the story was very very wierd. I suppose it's not to be taken literally and instead the images are meant to have some symbolic meaning... but to me it seemed that the creators brainstormed the thing while on drugs ^u^ (seriously)
but i wanna see it again, cause of the visuals (and the strangness of it all makes me laugh, but in a good way)

okay sorry about the ramblings... i tend to do that a lot. anyways, what i liked to know is why the desire to be nameless?? isn't being part of an online anime community fun?? having been nothing but a webpage spy myself i'm curious to know ^u^.

that's too bad about satoshi's hair colour, i love the soft blue too. and about dark and risa, i think i read that that's the direction the manga is taking too... but i'm not entirely sure about that. i'm so bad, i kinda wish there were no twins love square(?). the whole "i like this twin now" stuff annoys me a bit. it also makes me sad cause i'm sure that risa will be the loser of the two, since i suspect that the mature riku is the more popular one among fans (i actually have no reason to think this, but it's what i presume). my prediction will be that both daisuke and dark will eventually choose riku. this leaves the possibility that risa will get satoshi to tie up all the lose ends. Such a conclusion will disappoint me greatly, but it could happen all the same.
still maybe u should give the DNangel anime another chance since the ep was a raw. i remember when i saw the first angelic layer ep raw and thought it to be sooo boring, then liked the subbed version.

Saiyuki
well the artwork's not bad but it's not my thing. of what i've seen i wouldn't say that it's a slashy series at all, but then just about any series with a largely male cast becomes slashable (i.e. gundam wing, weiss kreuz, digimon, hikaru no go, prince of tennis, harry potter). i'm not listing series like x, lawful drug, gravitation, megami kouhosei, and evangelion where these kind of things are implied and hinted at, and i don't blame people for getting the ideas that they do. I suppose my imagination is quite limited because with a series like saiyuki i just don't see it like that, so i'm definitely not gonna read saiyuki fics. although i guess i should take gundam wing out of the made-up slashy category, cause depending on the pairing there's some hinting, but then again a lot of the other pairings are purely imagined.

wow this seems long, and how sad that i use the same words over and over again, especially but. U_U i try not to use it so often, really i do. guess that i'll have a lot of format editing to do later.

ha ha!! my poor corrupted friend/fiend, reading all kinds of manga. but i can understand reading shoujo & shounen stuff, that's perfectly normal. just stay away from the extreme types, hopefully you know what they are. i would list them so u don't hafta guess @ what i mean, but if some person was to use a search engine and typed those certain words in, i wouldn't want them to be directed here. actually, i don't think one can find my site that way cause i don't use meta tags, but it's better to be safe.

hmmm... i would say that the best solution is to wait til summer, then if ya want to, download some nice stuff guilt free. i remember the time when i was downloading anime, how painful... requires more patience than i tend to possess, so i can understand why you're reluctant to get back into the habit. although i think patience wasn't your problem; more like lack of hard drive space, downloading past your limits, and maybe time??

manga scans
i like reading manga scans too. i just read some saiyuki, and how surpirising that i like the blond priest the best. i always thought that the guy with glasses, dark hair and green clothes would be my fav. oh but the blond is just too funny, so sensible and intolerable of nonsense. hmm... i'm not sure whether i've liked other short tempered characters the best before. also i'm not sure if there's a certain character type that i'm naturally drawn too. i can say i'm not that particularly fond of lechers, like that purple haired guy in saiyuki and youji of weiss kreuz, although i don't dislike them. honestly i'm a sucker for good lookers, both cute and hot(??)

DNangel stuff
speaking of a character that's hot and cute... i love satoshi!! there's this one pic where he looks sooooo good!! ha ha!! actually satoshi looks good in a lot of pics, too bad there's so few colour images of him. oh, and i know that makes me sound like a ditz. but it's probably because i am one, ha ha ha!!! XD but of course it's not all about the looks, poor guy. i'm rooting for him, he deserves to get what/who he wants.

*tsk tsk tsk* over looked by the tomboy twin, Riku. i'm sure i told you how i like the other twin better (what is it that you call her... the pretty one or the airheaded one??). but that's because Risa's nicely flawed and the other twin seems so plain in contrast. i guess that best thing i like about Riku is that she dislikes dark, funny funny funny ^u^. okay i confess, it's all because i can relate to Risa more; especially how she wants an exciting boyfriend. eventhough i'd choose daisuke over dark, i like the childish & imaginative way she envisions and wants her life to be.
anyway to summarize, i read dnangel primarily for satoshi cause his scenes are soo interesting. and i hear that the anime has a lot of hints in it, and that makes me curious. =^w^= (meow!!)
