good news!! :)
instead of getting my drivers license next week when my dad got back, my dad took me today and taadaaahh!

i am a fully licensed driver!!
yea yeah! *beams*
i drove so much today too! went to lexi's place to pick up some stuff, dropped cousin off at learning center, came home, went back to pick him up, and drove home again. then dad says to go get dinner, so i got takeout from sonic. haha whoa!! all that driving on my first day of getting my license!!! hahaa how exciting! it was quite the thrill driving by myself :)
it was about time too. i should have gotten it almost a year ago!! haha but theres nothing wrong with waiting, im just glad i have a car and license now. :) yay!!!! i called ashley cuz i was so excited, and she was all excited too cuz now i get to drive us all around! hahaha ;)

so yeeah, that was my prom entry, this is another one, about the other random stuff that has been going on. hmm this will be, um, shorter, hopefully. ill try to make it in like point form or something.
~ final exams are coming up. and im grounded. not cuz i did anything wrong, no. im grounded cuz finals are coming. lol and i have to study. bah. which leads me to the next point.
~ because im grounded i missed out on this lake party on saturday, which sounded so cool. ash went, but yeah i kinda feel like i missed out on some fun.
~ we got our yearbooks :) haha and the school cant do anything about me being all over the student council pages. hahaha! because the yearbook was already published by the time they kicked me off. take that stupid school!
~ hmm. so yesterday was mothers day, and mom was in san fran of course. lol it always figures that moms not in town for special occasions. ahh the sorrow of having a commuting parent. hmm. anyway i also took my driving test on sunday.. haha WOOHOO! OMG I PASSED IT! hahahaa, isnt that the greatest news? hahaa i got a 100/100 on it!haha i was so suprised cuz i didnt think i deserved a full score, so yeah WOW!. which leads me to the next thing.
~ today i was supposed to go get my license done, cuz doh i had passed the test, right? yeah well we get to the motor vehicle department or whatever to get it done and like when we finally get up to a person after waiting a while, and guess what? i cant get my license because my dad forgot to bring the original copies of our crazy special documents bc we're not permanent residents of the U.S. yet. he brought photocopies, which was fine, i mean at least we brought them right? well. guess not, they wanted the originals. ARGH! so no license for me. (*!&*^#@)$&@(& i was mad.
~ which leads me here. my dads going out of town tomorrow, so i cant get my license till next week when he gets home. ARGH!!!!!!!!!
~ which leads me here.. car troubles. my car was at the dealership getting looked at because my dad thought there was something wrong with my car, and so yeah today we go back to get it, and they say theres nothing wrong with it. ok fine. my dad talks to the dudes for a while concerning our other cars or whatever, and then we leave the place, as we leave. my dads signal/indicator/blinker, whatever you call them started clicking fast.. so im driving my car, and we have to swing back and go get it checked out. turns out one of the headlight bulbs blew a fuse. grr. ok so we go and get it sorted out, and guess what, it suddenly comes back on, and its all back to normal. freaky weird. bah car troubles. no license, and funked up cars!
~ dad was also pissed at me cuz my cellphone bill combined with my bros cuz we share minutes. holy shit. we have 600 minutes to share. i personally used 610, and he used 700, so if you can do the math, we went WAAAAAAAAAY over the alloted minutes, hence resulting in the grand total of a $294 phone bill. oh yeah. throw in the daily phonecalls my cousin made to my mom. that stopped soon enough, my dad took his cellphone away.
~ speaking of the cousin. actually, no lets not talk about him. its really a waste of my time, and my parents' and my brother's time. ...i actually wrote a paragraph on this issue, but deleted it, because i just dont wanna talk about it.
so to end of this crazy entry, of good things, bad things, just things in general, i thought one last good thing would be nice before i go and do my homework. i think im going to be in a magazine. i'll let you guys know more later. im not sure how much im supposed to tell so yeah. heh. :)

be prepared, this is going to be a long entry.
so its been more than a week after prom, and i was just too darn lazy to say anything about it, so here i am to tell ya all about it. lol. well lets see, where should i start? hmm the friday before prom, i got my nails done, i got those acrylic tips ive been wanting for a long time, and gee, i love em SO much. haha my nails have never looked this good! this might not just be a one time thing!! haha but they sure funk up your nails after you take them off, so ive heard. well yeah to saturday rolls by, i take a shower in the morning and shave my legs, and then at 1pm i have a hair appointment. so i go get my hair done and it looked gorgeous!! i had those twisties in the front, then it was all pulled back and curled... doh that took forever. so yeah, my hair was quite a mass of curls.
hmm k i went to pick up the boutonniere and then came home to get ready. i kinda messed around and people kept calling so i was in a crunch to get totally ready, did my makeup, put my dress on, shoes, got my stuff in my purse organized.
4.30 rolls by and hunter comes over for a picture session with my dad. lol we couldnt escape! dad got a little snap happy, but it was funny anyway. so yeah hunter looked great, all snazzy in his tux and everything, and he said i looked beautiful.. haha yay! damn if i didnt look at least somewhat decent, then all my prom plans would go to waste now, wouldnt they? haha alrighty. he gave me a corsage, which was huge btw! lol and then my mom and i pinned the boutonniere on his jacket. oook. so we head to ashley's house (we take my yellow pimp-mobile ;) im suprised my dad even let us do that!) and then meet up with ash and my friend jess. christian (ash's date/sorta bf) and kyle (jess's date.. i set them up) show up and then ash's parents go all snap happy again on us. whoooa. lol.
so with the girls lookin beautiful and the guys lookin good, we head over to christian's house for some pre prom whatever. well originally we were gonna go to my friend jenna's house, but that plan went to the dumps when christian says we go to his house to "play some games", which turns out to be air hockey. eh. *facial expression : eh* oook. we drive over there and like kyle is driving his own little car. which has like a spoiler that he probably fit on himself, hahaa. hunter and i were so making fun of him for that. and of course this kid kyle is like driving so fast and overtaking other cars on a 2 way street. sooo retarded, but i decided i wasnt gonna let anything ruin my night... not something like that. anyway so yeah at christians house, we fart around with the air hockey and watch like a half hour of a movie. (on prom NIGHT?!?!! .yeah. thats what i thought)... ok.
so yeah then we decide its time to go to prom. hunter and i go back to my car, and then the rest jump into the other car. and guess what i see? christians mother is gonna drive them to prom. can you believe it? how EMBARRASSING. and not only that, lemme give you some background. originally we were all gonna go in some limo or some form of group transport. and so yeah christian and kyle are in charge of it, so ok. two days before prom, christian calls ashley and says they couldnt get a limo, and so they got a hummer but only 2 couples could go in it. (in other words, ive been kicked out). what?! i was furious. the only reason why kyle was going to our prom was because i felt since christian was going, it would be nice if his best friend did too, so i bust my ass and call 12 girls in one night just to find this guy i barely know, a date. ok so i think ok he should be at least a bit thankful. well guess not, i got kicked out of their hummer. ashley says theres no other way it can be worked out, so i will have to end up going separately with hunter. OH WELL. big whoop now. back to the story, yeah the hummer never shows up, and so they all end up getting dropped off at prom by christians mother. i could only imagine how PISSED ash was. (some boyfriend he is, huh?) the whole time i keep thinking how glad i am that hunter and i are in my car and how the way things worked out was great. lol.
ok so now we're at prom, we check in, and go around and socialize! omg, i have to say the dresses i saw that night, was like WOW! soooo beautiful, and i was so glad to see everyone looking radiant! heheh man, i have to say i love it when boys dress up, mm mm! hahaaha ok we go and get our pictures done, which end up taking forever ( one hour and 15 minutes) to get through, so we're all getting like touchy and grumpy bc we waited so long. but yeah ooook. we finally go into the ballroom, find our table and have our dinner. yeah. so we eat, socialize somemore, snap random pics with disposable cameras, dance a little bit here and there. the band sucked i have to say, we would have been better off with a dj. anyway. to my utmost disappointment, hunter tells me he doesnt dance. or that he sucks at it. *sigh* oh well. we kinda just grooved along to the music a little here and there, and then the boys when to sit down and whatever cuz theyre too cool to dance. hahaha. hmmm i think i got about 30 mins max on the dance floor and 2 slow dances with hunter. lol. prom is a dance right? SO WHERES THE DANCING!!! my goodness.
lol. anyway we went and socialized a bit more and then its time for group pics, and ash and i reeeeally dont wanna take them cuz of the lines again, but our friends are like begging us, so we're like okay okay. we tell the boys we're gonna take group pics and that we'll be back. we get to the picture room by the lobby and then everyone says where are your dates? its a WHOLE group pic. agh!. we go back to get the boys and hunter's missing! i wait for another like. 7 minutes and katie comes running and shes like CMON group pic lets GO! and so okok, we go back to the room, and omg. haha hunter is standing there, and im like THERE YOU ARE!!! i thought i had lost him!:( haha anyway he says that he had wanted to come watch the girls take their picture (isnt that so cute?) and then we had this whole "i lost you" fiasco. hahaha so funny. anyway at 11 hunter and i have to leave because he has to be home by midnight (talk about cinderella) because he got in trouble with his mom the night before.
ok, but ash and them dont have a ride anywhere. so hunter and i are like okay fine we'll give you a ride. argh. and the stupid boys were being so rude bc they didnt like the music i was playing. WELL.. lol its my car, my music and hunter and i like it and we're doing you a big favor. i was about to tell them to shut the funk up. ARGH!!. anyway..we get back to christians house where theyre all supposed to go party somewhere else after. and like ash is unsure about going bc she wouldnt have a way home and jess wants to stay with me. so yeah christian just says oh well ill call you tomorrow, gives her a kiss and leaves. ashley is FUMING at this point and she sits in my car all quiet with her arms crossed. man i felt SOOO bad. what a dick christian was, i have to say.
anyway. we get back to my place and hunter goes home, and us girls stay up for a while and chat, then clean up and go to bed. i have to add that just before we fall asleep... we feel like losers for being home so early after prom, it kinda sucked. we all felt that prom sucked ass, and argh. its overhyped. (btw, ash's ex bf calls and asks her if shes ok, because he thinks christian is shady too, hahaa how sweet) and so yeah.
oh well. that was prom night for me. we got our pictures back later in the week, my couple pic with hunter is cute, but the group pics arent too fantastic. oh haha i also went to school with my hair still all curly cuz i didnt bother to wash it!! haha YEAH DIRTY HAIR!! hmm. also, later ash and i find out that christian and kyle didnt go to that party afterall. if i was her, i would be so pissed. but oh well, ya know?
prom prom prom. what's all the hype? all for one night and after all that money you spend, it cant even guarantee you a good time! lol well those were my thoughts exactly after prom. but now i look back on it and think, ya know what? i actually did have a good time, at least i had some fun ya know? it was alright afterall. and i hope hunter had a good time, im not sure. and then it all works out for the best in the end, at least i can say i went to my junior prom right?

hmm its past midnight, but i decided to write in here, cuz its been a while, and i feel that i need to say something.
well. i had a great time on monday night. omg, it was SO FANTASTIC AND AMAZING. i went to the ALL AMERICAN REJECTS concert!!!!!!!!!! holy shit. its most definitely the best concert ive ever been to. you see, theyre my new favorite band, i have their cd even, and they're just SUCH a good band. and they can actually sing pretty well. the lead singer, tyson ritter, has this amazing voice, that just makes you go WOW. its not like he's singing ballads or anything, but i just really like it. and hes pretty damn good looking, which is plus. haha but ANYWAY. at the park and motion city soundtrack opened for them. at the park had one really hot guy named josh, who we met later, and ashley is like in love with the guy. haha, and then the other guy in that band just cracked me up the whole time, cuz he was SO intent on playin his guitar that he had the funniest facial expressions! hahahaha! oh well the other band, motion city soundtrack was actually not bad, i enjoyed them quite a bit. the guy looked a bit like a rocked out hippie and it was funny cuz there was a guy on a synthesizer that just rocked out SO hard.. it was funny. then there was an old guy on the guitar so that was also funny. yeah i laughed alot. wel later when the rejects came out, OMG everyone began rushing forward and DUDE. mosh pit happened. im glad i wasnt caught in it, but i was on the border of it, i tell ya. nicole and i were like squished against a whole bunch of fat people, but oh well it was great anyways. SUCH AN AWESOME SHOW. im still partially deaf from all that. lol. oh. we met the rejects later!!!!! omg. haha so awesome. we went around to their tour bus and like waited for them to come out. there were like only 20 people waiting, i think the rest of the people didnt know that you could wait there. and like. WOW. i met tyson, nick and mike. AND I GOT THEIR AUTOGRAPHS. talk about star struck. tyson was so drunk, hahaha it was kinda funny. nick was reeeeally nice, so it was great to know the fame doesnt get to his head. mike was just overall awesome. haha so after a sweaty, hard rockin monday night i had to go back to school on tuesday lookin like a zombie. but it was all worth it, i'd do it again ANYDAY.
well. other than my awesome concert experience... prom is coming up! its in about 2 days and im so excited!!!!!! i have a hair appointment and a nail one too. so its all coming together. yay! its gonna be a great night, and wow, i cant wait! lol. YAY PROM!
so tomorrow is the big sister/little sister pizza party. and so i got assigned 2 little sisters. murphy and cassandra. i got ahold of murphy and she sounds cool. and i cant reach cassandra so i dunno what im gonna do. gotta go buy them a gift tomorrow.
we had the moving up mass yesterday...we're almost officially seniors! we're gonna rule the school, ah yeah! hehehe. friday we have the awards assembly, the most boringest assembly of the year. they give almost like everyone awards, its kinda a drag. but hey. we get yearbooks after that so YAY!
the poem that i wrote that has been published..the published book arrived in the mail today. :) yay. i can actually say something ive written has been published. :) its so cool.
ooh hey. on monday as well, i got inducted into the national thespian society! haha yay im a thespian. A WHAT?!?!!? haha bascially im a drama girl, thats all. involved with school plays and musicals and the drama program and such. so HAY! *grin*
today i went and talked to my counselor to rearrange my schedule for next year, since im not on student council anymore, i have to take that class period out. and i have to pick something out to go in for that time. im deciding between taking some academic classes, or some fun classes. i have some of each already. and its my senior year.... should i work hard, or should i slack off? *sigh* decisions, decisions.
if i need to reply an emai..... and i havent yet. i apologize, ive been so crazy busy like that i havent had time to even take care of myself. its kraaaazy i tell ya.
i take my driving test on the 11th of may, im kinda nervous, but after that i will have my license and holy shit that will be great!!!!!
oh well. i feel like i have more to say, but i cant remember what! ive been having memory problems lately. eh. lol oh well im done...enough crap from me. it was alot of crap too! lol late dawg.

i think ive closed that chapter of my life now. no more student council. i can only look forward to better things. thank you for the love and support. there isnt anything else i could ask for.
onto happier topics now.....
its spring break, finally. rest + relaxation = good stuff. i would just have to hurt someone if i had school this week. part of the reason for speedy recovery from bitchy school issue is because i dont have to BE AT school this week. not having to be in school is always a good thing. tomorrow is good friday, the most somber day of the year. i certainly have stuff to pray about, i know that.
anyway.lets see i have a buncha things to talk about. oh. prom. im glad the damn administration didnt say anything about not letting me go to prom. if so, i REALLY would have to hurt someone. but yeah, im going to prom. i have a date (yay!). im going with hunter, my boy next door. literally! haha. i needed a date, and he was sweet enough to say he would go with me, so im set, yay!. i also bought a dress, on lets see, tuesday? yep. its really pretty, a bright kind of baby blue, a little on the turquoise side, which is perfect for me. and its a strapless two piece dress, the top has sequins and all and the skirt is pretty too. :) yay. i got the dress while shopping with april. i brought my digital camera with me that day, and so i have a bunch of silly (and blurry :|) pictures of us trying dresses on. if you'd like to see us being dorks, just ask, i might show those pictures. heh. i need to find a picture of a nice prom hair do.... i think april might do it for me, if she can or i might just go to some hair salon. i also decided im getting my nails done, theres no stopping me on that one. agh! prom is in 2 weeks, im excited but also kinda nervous cuz of all the preparations. :S
hmm because of the nasty SARS crap going on around the world, i doubt my parents are gonna let me go back to singapore this summer. sorry guys, its a pretty big bummer, but i guess i really wasnt meant to come back. (or be on student council next year... dammit im bitter!!) *sigh*
random note: i was watching trl yesterday, and im jealous cuz most of the people in the studio were given Ipods! as in the apple mp3 players, which are retailing like $400 bucks. yeah they got them for free. and im not talking a measly 3 or 4. they gave out about 20! easily! dang it. i wish i was given a free ipod.! another thing in this world thats unfair. *sigh*
yet another random note: i think ive found the best smelling guy cologne. cK crave! mmmmmm. SO good. if a guy walked by me smelling like that, i would be all his! dang that stuff's good. haha im SO done now.
