.... this leaves me where i am right this minute. on the last day of the year 2003....

my new motto for 2004 is similar to the one i had this year. it's simple, and relates how i want to live my life.

.:carpe diem:.

[yeah i had to make it all pretty and such].

for the year of 2004, i intend to work hard (kinda), party hard and graduate from highschool with whatever honors i can pull through with. i will also go back to singapore for let's say, a month? for a nice vacation back home during summer. and then i will turn 18 and hopefully that will be a turning point? or a major step in my life, somehow. i also intend to come back here and chill out in phoenix and work and save up some money. then in august, hit up mazatlan, mexico, with ash, lex and lex's family. THEN i will start college at ASU, and once there, i intend to work hard (yea) and party hard once again, while enjoying the college experience in whatever way i can. then i'll close out 2004 with a bang.

yep, that's my plan for 2004. we shall see how it turns out, eh?

now, for some new year's resolutions (that i really do intend to keep).

1. carpe diem, of course. seize the day. take chances, opportunities, steps to improve my life, don't hold back and no regrets. with this, to also accomplish some things on my "things to do before i die" list. that all rolls nicely into >carpe diem< so it's like one big resolution.

2. don't be so lazy, ya know, chilling out is good, but 24/7 chilling out makes me a fatass and couch potato.

3. spend money wisely or have good money management. since i've got a job, i finally understand how hard it is to earn money, and how easy it is to blow all of it.

4. better time management? continue using a planner/organizer and keep on truckin' with bein' in the know.

5. to volunteer to do more household chores. i've gotten quite a few comments from my parents on how i'm living like a princess and not doing any housework. so i'm gonna clean my room more often, vaccuum the house and wash the dishes every so often. baby steps, okay?

6. to put my foot down and not drive so much. gas= money, i don't want so many miles on my car, plus i'm sick of being the designated driver every single time.

7. spend less time online, because AIM/MSN/ICQ contributes to procrastination when doing homework.

8. keep in contact with friends from highschool and singapore.

9. be more agreeable and nice, not so argumentative and abrasive; cut out any attitude problems, basically, be a good kid that my parents aren't ashamed of raising.

10. finally, be more confident as well as being in balance with my id, ego and superego parts of my personality (pretty much practice some self-help psychology to IMPROVE LIFE!); quit living vicariously through other people, live my life the way i want to, and have fun while i'm at it.

congratulations if you actually read this entry, like i said, this is primarily for my own use, to sort out my thoughts.

hmm. so. with that, BYE 2003!!! you have been good to me in many ways, and i've had many downs that brought me to realize i should appreciate all i have because it can all be taken away in a NANOsecond.

WELCOME 2004! i'm ready for a new year.

[ also, i gotta go plan how i'm gonna party it up tonight, cuz i, for one, am definitely gonna finish this year on a high note. and welcome in the new year with open arms. ]

keep on keepin' on, friends.

kisses, holly.

Icebreaker..

holly loves summer! she loves the summer movies, weather, freedom and hemp bracelets! she also loves her car which has been so lovingly tagged "the yellow pimpmobile" by some. her motto as of right now is "cruisin, chillin, and flowin' with the go". check it.
