How time flies. They say time and tide wait for no man, but i beg to differ. Time and tide waits for no LADY, yeah, that's more like it. Haha. End of August now. It's been a month since July... more than half a year since the start of 2004... more than 18 years after Miss Blunder here was first born... *Some chuckling*
Certainly, we're 3 weeks into classes. Am getting sick of the idea already... coz classes = projects + debates + presentations + Sweat + hell a lot of other sick things that professors can possibly do to students. I'll keep lamenting, at least to the end of the semester. That's all i can do for now.
Wish to meet more people too. There's just so many things to do... but insufficient time at hand... (or perhaps that's merely a bloody lame excuse).
Any takers? :)

Decided to post today's entry in striking red to drive away all those Monday blues! Monday is never a good day to start the week loh, but who cares? Listen to me talk in my Singlish ah... Singaporeans super-versatile one, really multi-lingual. Mwhaha!
Today went to school as usual loh... Everyday the same, same people, same professors, same me, same (ugh) food served in the food court...nothing much to say one. Except when i working with my notebook in the library, then suddenly the whole system crashed on me. Cannot log in to the system at all. Desperate liao. How to log on to MSN messenger? How to do my research? Stupid. Must be i play around too much with the comp liao, corrupt the system. Haiz. Then had to bring it for repair at the computer office... so sianz :(
Today is 30th August liao, now then i realise 2 more days is the actually Teachers' Day liao. Think it's a commercialized day hor? I mean, little boy boy & little girl girl go shop for teacher presents... and then the teacher recieve so many presents also don't have enough space to put in their cabinets liao. Imagine every year also get leh! Then again, i don't think i'm going back to school ah... haha... so lousy student, the teachers don't remember me also. Haha, I'm so anti-social person, don't like large crowds on loh! Haha... See how ah...If someone going maybe i tag along. If got *handsome* guy ask me go, then i'll sure go! Aiyoh, daydreaming liao. Better go do work. Bye...!

Wateva... don't let it get in your way :)
Many a times, i can't help but worry. It's a darned-stressful world out there, & there are so many obstacles ahead of us.
Basically, you just won't know what tomorrow will bring.
But no task will ever be too daunting. We'll keep that in mind. Even though there's tons of work to be done, i'll tell myself, hang on!
And i'll look for avenues to release some stress. Yup, such as listening to my fave music... *Grins*... such as Avril's. Whee!
Anybody's got something to cure acne?

Forgot to mention...
I'm looking for nice blog templates still. Yeah, got a bit tired of this blue one already. I saw this very brilliant Gorillaz webskin the other time; someone's blog. Guess he/she created it him/herself. Cool.
If u know where i can get cool looking ones (esp dark ones), do drop me a note on the tagboard please? Yups, tks a million. Sweet Dreams all~!

Finally got my notebook. My preciooouuuussss IBM. Mwhaha!
Bring it on Gollum...
The weekend is here. Perhaps i'll write a bit more once i catch up on my sleep. Whee. I'm zonked outta here :)

Feeling so zonked out right now. The things a lack of sleep can do to your brain.
I lust. Satisfy my curiosity please.
Been so darned crappy lately, that people around me have been lambasting me. Suit youselves. Don't diss people for the sake of dissing.
Nothing much to say now. Can barely hear the silence... things are so heated up now... whoa~ Been hunting for a nice new blogskin. Blue's not staying much longer. Black will be, coz for now, that's a reflection of how i really feel :(
I'm outta here.

Today's Thursday. Soon it'll be weekend again. Again, and again. The whole cycle repeats itself. How time files. They say how change is the only constant. How depressing. I resent change. But i don't want to remain in this rut forever. I'll try to figure my way out.
Humans are such adaptable creatures. Put them in a scenario/situation. Humans will figure how to make things work their way; adaptability yeah?
Ok, i should stop digressing already. I've merely a mediocre command of this language and i'll possibly get on your nerves if i continue any further.
I got to head to school later. It's the only enjoyable thing about thursdays, when i can get more rest. Lessons start at 3.30pm *Grins* On hindsight, i realised i should have taken up more modules... so that could have graduated within a shorter period of time. Project works' piling up... we're knee-deep in books & the roof above my head seems as tho as it's going to give way. Bleah.
I should be getting my new notebook tomorrow. Cost me a friggin' SGD$ 2800++ (we're supposed to purchase these for the sake of school work) and ripped my entire bank account. Whee. Mmm, feel like changing my web template... getting a little tired of the bluish tint already ***

Three Girls Meet the Fairy
--> A blonde, a brunette, and a redhead are crossing an enchanted bridge in Magical Fairyland when they run into a fairy. The fairy says that they can be granted a transformation if they jump off the bridge and call out their wish. The brunette immediately jumps off the bridge and yells "Eagle!" She turns into a beautiful bird of prey and flies away. The redhead jumps off the bridge and yells out "Salmon!" She turns into a gorgeous shimmering salmon and swims upstream to spawn. The blonde is at this point so excited that she jumps off the bridge without thinking of her wish. She panics. "Crap!" <--
Oh yesh, Swenson's is having a promotion. Topless Five now going for fraction of the original price. $1.39! Whoo hoo.
Just realised something... missed my Charmed! And my Amazing Race! God~! My memory is getting worse =X

I was on my home-bound bus this afternoon, when i took sight of this lady who had just boarded and plonked herself comfortably into the seat in front of me. There was nothing remarkable about her, to pinpoint harshly, she was dressed shabbily in faded pants and flip-flops. Tightly clutching her purse, she surveyed her surroundings... her face was slightly creased, darkly tanned... Erm. In comparison, her hair was well-conditioned, rebonded and given a reddish brown tint.
Ok, what struck me was her hair. I've seen the hairstyle many a times before, it is the run-of-the-mill type. Long rebonded hair. I'm not trying to prove anything, but if you take a look at the females nowadays, you see, it has become the fad of late. The cookie-cutter society, if i could term it. Churned out people who look like clones of each other. Mmm. What gives?
I asked my male friends what they looked for in girls.
"Gals with flaws. No one is really perfect. If she did spew a little vulgarities from time to time, it wouldn't have mattered much right?"
"Great personality, outgoing, cheerful, takes initiative, etc"
Oh well, what's your take then? :)

Streats screamed for my attention.
I walked over, swiped the freesheet off the tabletop & promptly plonked myself on the floor. Cover page: PM Lee & his rousing National Day Rally speech. Li Jia Wei, our fave paddler at the north-east corner. Flip. Flip. Flip.
*Mixing Sports & Studies*
It was about local universities giving athletes time to train & compete in the sporting arena... nothing spectacular really... 'cept the fact that they featured 2 Smu students... which, then again, explains why i read it :P
One interesting thing i noted: Local sprinter Poh Seng Song is actually a student of smu! Heh. He's currently in Athens, yesh, to fulfil his dreams watsoeva :) & Jiawei... we'll always be behind you :)

If you would excuse me, allow me to rave and rant about the Olympics.
Ok k, rant maybe.
I don't know how many singaporeans shared my disappointment
this afternoon when our female table tennis player fell to her korean counterpart in the bronze medal playoff. The medal seemed to elude us forever...
I missed the match, but i presume she was too eager to capture the game & in the process, lost her calm. Sigh~
Guess we'll be back , 4 years from now...

Not going to say much, 'cept the fact that the eagerly-anticipated women's single table tennis semis is up next. Track & field is worth a good look too. After all, it's the biggest single event in the whole Games record & has recently been affected by a spade of doping problems. Sic.

Caught the re-run of the Wang Nan v.s. Li Jiawei match. Two thumbs up for Li, yay! Hope she performs well for the match tomorrow... 'Nuff said about medal glory. Everyone plays to win. But how many victors can there be? If you win, it's a bonus. But if you don't, well, treat it as a lesson to learn in time.
Weekend's round the corner. After a gruelling 5 day week, it's time to reward myself. Ok, i admit, today wasn't exactly bad. In the sense that i got a wonderful prof for analytical skills. Mark. He's no old geezer, just a bushy Santa of sorts, with a biggie balloonin' butt. He split us up into groups and then asked us to come up with the meanest insults we could hurl at him. The winning insult went along the lines of: "Mark, your mouth is as big as your ass, so much so that when you turn around, you might swallow us whole." What a stinko~ Whoever asked him when was the last time he actually saw his feet when he looked down??
Mid-afternoon it started raining. It didn't damped my spirits really, though i would have gladly stayed at home and cozied in my bed. Hobbled down to my old workplace to see some old friends. Passed them some photos that i'd developed earlier. Celebrated a good friend's birthday *Happy Birthday*... and that basically wrapped up the whole day... Whee~
