Dropped By To Say Hi

I think I will be updating less often because I am channeling my energies to my new music blog. It's still a work in progress so I will post the link to it in due course. It's fun as I get to do 2 of my favourite things: writing and exploring new music.
I was watching the Oscars on monday, just for a short while actually, enough to see Penelope Cruz pick up her award for best supporting actress. The most memorable quote from her acceptance speech was:
"Has anybody ever fainted here? Because I might be the first one." [link]
When she first came to Hollywood, she was a bumbling klutz too:
"When I first came to America I made a lot of mistakes, like going to the hair salon and asking for a blow job instead of a blow dry." [link]
Haha! This woman is funny.
I'm so happy it's 2009! Because that means we've got one more year to go before we graduate!
