Randomly speaking

Dear Pitas,
We're four weeks into the new school semester and i'm still feeling like a lost bird. There are so many new terms being thrown at us -- left, right and centre -- that i'll probably take a while to understand. There's not much time to stop and take a breath though. In fact, as i'm typing this, i am working on my Work Integrated Learning project and the dateline is like 5 days away.
Before school started i did a couple of things during term break: i) i sold household products, ii) sold lamps, iii) sold health drinks, iv) took a short trip and v) visited The Butter Factory. Not very exciting i know, but at least i made some new friends and earned some extra moolah, which brings me one step closer to getting a Nintendo Wii. The Wii will give me a good reason to exercise :P
Did you know you can play Wii at Cathay E2Max? Thank you Chups for introducing me to that place :)
Playing tennis (Wii Sports)
Should get my buds together to play Wii. It seems like a fun way to bond. Most of my friends have recently graduated (congratulations!) so they should have more 'free' time on hand :)
Speaking of 'free', i got tickets at the last minute on Saturday (26th July) and went to watch Eason's Moving On Stage 11 Concert. I'm so happy i didn't have to fork out a single cent to watch something i wanted to attend initially.
Before the show
Eason Chan: Flower power
Wah, so high
Hope i can snag tickets to A*Mei's Star Tour on 4th October too. Wishful thinking, i know, but i'm keeping my fingers crossed.
And i'm going to watch Death Cab for Cutie on 12th August. Yeah, it sold out in a day or two and now tickets are apparently going for a premium on the net. I only managed to get one ticket and so am going alone (it's the first time i'm attending a concert alone). Or maybe i should just sell my ticket and invest in A*Mei's concert instead, haha.
On a final note, Harris Bookstores is running a "What's Cooking" promotion till today and i got Shoko Tendo's Yakuza Moon at a 25% discount. It is quite costly considering it is a tiny hardcover, but it should make for a very entertaining read. Hee hee.
Alright, back to my project...
M
