Our family has been frequenting Genting Highlands for years, so whenever we tell people we're headed there again, they come up with the same clever retort:
"Oh Genting again?" "Going to try your luck ah?"
Or so they think.
Among the many things i wanted to do when i turned 21 was to step into a casino, and perhaps, play roulette. As a frivolous young individual who has been weaned on tv and the Ocean's trilogy since i was a tween, it was rather disappointing to discover (on this trip) that those 'big tables' my mother had been referring to for years were simply small oblong red tables flanked on both sides by eager gamblers and croupiers.
No large green tables? Pity.
On the second day of our trip i took my sis to the theme park for some thrill rides, and we rode the Spinner 3 times till i was all dizzy.
Incidentally, i was bothered by this forum message i received today from a person whose fragile male ego i must have hurt. Thankfully he is not someone i know in real life, nor someone i have for a friend, if not i would have seriously walloped the irksome fellow.
Dude, it's just a game so bloody well play by the rules.
I channeled my anger to better use by changing the layout of my blog. Just so you know, we will be celebrating this blog's 3rd birthday in 2 months time, and i'm getting everything ready.
