Random updates (Happy Leap Year, by the way).
Part 1: 2 group projects and 1 individual one. The latter is due in a week's time and i'm far from done. Ooh creepy.
Part 2: Dined at 2 Sakura's this week -- Sakura Cuisine at Far East Plaza, and Sakura International Buffet at Orchard Shopping Centre. Major infatuation with everything (Para Para) S-A-K-U-R-A.
Part 3: Bought Sondre Lerche's Phantom Punch for $14.95 at HMV (Heeren). I love their wide selection of musical goodies. I'm going to see Lerche on the 14th of March. Goody.

Major infatuation with Kim Jong Kook (above) as well. I got to know him because of Yoon Eun Hye and their rumoured romance on X-Man (view some X-Man clips on Youtube).

Part 5: I submitted this joke to the Blogshares' 6 trillions cash "clean" joke contest -- and it won, hee hee. Thanks to The Bar Corporation (and whoever came up with this silly blonde joke in the first place)!

A girl came skipping home from school one day. "Mommy, Mommy," she yelled, "we were counting today, and all the other kids could only count to 4, but I counted to 10. See? 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!"More updates soon, i promise!"Very good," said her mother.
"Is it because I'm blonde, Mommy?"
"Yes, Honey, it's because you're blonde."
The next day the girl came skipping home from school. "Mommy, Mommy," She yelled, "we were saying the alphabet today, and all the other kids could only say it to D, but I said it to G. See? A, B, C, D, E, F, G!"
"Very good," said her mother.
"Is it because I'm blonde, Mommy?"
"Yes, Honey, it's because you're blonde."
The next day the girl came skipping home from school. "Mommy, Mommy," she yelled, "we were in gym class today, and when we showered, all the other girls had flat chests, but I have these!" And she lifted her tank top to reveal a pair of 36Cs.
"Very good," said her embarrassed mother.
"Is it because I'm blonde, mommy?"
"No, Honey, it's because you're 25."

Dear Pitas,
As usual, this entry is somewhat belated, it being the second day of 2008 already (procrastination is my forte). It's not too late to say Happy New Year still, is it? I don't have any new year resolutions since I rarely commit to anything, and what good are resolutions anyway?
What I have though are some photos of how I spent the last week of 2007. Allow me to elaborate (here's the part where i'm going to bore you with details).
First, Jesline invited us to their Christmas party on 22nd Dec, which was held at SAFRA Town Club's Nearby Cafe. There were games, food and good company:
Incidentally, Jy was performing later in the evening but I couldn't make it for the service. I had to get to a family gathering.
Later that night (or rather, in the wee hours of 23rd Dec) Yj flew back from the states. P and Q went to meet her.
On Christmas eve I spent some time preparing Christmas gifts and sending e-cards.
On Christmas Day, we girls (minus Sp and Yl) had a lovely dinner at Imperial Treasure La Mian Xiao Long Bao, then took a stroll along Esplanade where we did silly poses with the Merlion:
On 26th and 27th Dec, there were Post Christmas sales everywhere and our family went shopping. Orchard Road was packed. Goodness. I realised crowded shopping centres are really, really claustrophobic.
Next came the 28th of Dec, when I (finally) caught Lust, Caution with P. Great show. Getting the tickets were a hassle though. Tickets for the 6.55pm show were sold out at Vivocity so I had to rush to Marina Square (they had shows at the same timeslot), only to realise there were none left too (so much for rushing). We had to settle for the 10.05pm one instead.
But honestly, it was worth all the trouble! Top-notch acting from the lead actors (Ah, Tony Leung so good, Lee Hom so handsome) and actresses (Tang Wei, I applaud you), I must say. The sex scenes are really vital to the story (the film itself calls for some 'emotional investment'). Thank god I did not waste my money on the NC16 version released earlier.
The show ended at 1am or so. We took the night bus, where I reached home around 2.30am, read my book and went to bed 2 hours later, before going to Yj's place at 11am. Her mum had organised a gathering for friends and family, and there was a yummy buffet spread. After some clowning around, we left at 3pm and met Yl at JEC for our favourite pastime: singing at KBox!
On Sunday the 30th I went shopping with my family again. We went and we conquered!
On New Year's Eve I woke up earlier then usual. I don't know why. At night I was thinking if I should go over to Yj's still, or to stay home and rest. I bugged Yf a few times (until I she pek chek, heh, sorry Yf) before I eventually decided on the former.
And I'm glad I did. I was happy to countdown, drink wine, eat pizza, cam-whore and basically act silly with the girls.
We even took an early morning walk by sending Sp home at around 3am, walking from Yj's home in Jurong East, past the canal, and on to Sp's house in Jurong West... and back again. When we got back everyone was just exhausted, so we went off to La La Land. That is, until 8am, when we had breakfast together, said our goodbyes and parted.
And that's how I spent the final week of 2007. Gosh. Such a long rambly post. But it's always better than making resolutions anyway.
