song : Alarm clock screaming monsters

All things wuv.org related have been up and down in the last day or so. As a result, my images weren't loading rendering this here blog damn near unreadable. Seems to be resolved now. Oddly, I started doing some over due work on Shoujo.wuv - course, haven't uploaded it yet. Maybe tomorrow.

I had a splendid weekend.  I fear I shall not have many like it again. It makes me sad.  Even knocked off two manga from the list over on the side. And unlike duck - I liked ep 36 of Gundam SEED just fine. Pink-chan, I must own the 1/1 version of you. I will. However I started bidding on auctions again. That is bad.

Despite having the last six eps of my last project taken away due to lack of time (I'll never see ep. 42 of Sailor Moon wah), started new one today. Figures of all the parts of Robotech - this would be the first I see uncut. Its almost poetic. This may be my last contract project. The whole timing of one job ending, and moving and what not - not really hammered out yet. Heck, I barely have AX planned. And that's a giant mess. And the damn server isn't in a work. Which means I have under two weeks to get everything done now. Go me.

These are too damn cute. Must get games . . .

I dreamt you had wings. I had wings too, but while you were born with them, I had somehow acquired mine. I couldn't use my new wings, so we had to climb high to reach where you lived, with the others who had wings. But they rejected me and my false wings. I cried, because I meant no harm, I hadn't asked for the wings. And you stayed with me.

song : News Flash

In case you haven't heard (as there is a grapevine apparently) I am moving to Houston.

Not NOW. End of July most likely. I accepted job at ADV Films. You may express your shock now.

song : I can stop the pain if I will it all away

I want to eat my cake and have it too. And I can't.

Anyways. My weekend was stressful, relaxing, fun, disapointing, kooky, wonderous and too short for being as long as it was. Let's hear it for last minute work calls, House Managing with only one usher, BBQs I don't get to go to, the wonderful world of clubbing and pepper steak.

Oh yeah, totally forgot about .hack on Saturday and then Lupin on Monday night. This is what summer and holidays does to me - totally messes me up.

song : and watch my purple sky fly over me

So yesterday, in a fit of I-don't-know-what, I traveled over to Best Buy and picked up two non-Japanese cds for the first time in ages. (I've gotten some, like those two Tori CDs as gifts, but hadn't bought one in a while.) Picked up the new Weird Al - Poodle Hat, as a belated birthday present for Gareth - whose birthday had the misfortune of falling on the dress rehearsal for Chico. Great disc. Couch Potato is brilliant, and Ebay. Oh gods Ebay. I will be memorizing that one.

I also picked up, because I am a lemming, and because it was on sale, Evanescence's Fallen. I have this joke that when ever I get anything non-anime related these days its because of an AMV. And while everyone else on the planet has been hearing Bring Me To Life on the radio and what not - I didn't hear it till Jerry Chu used it in his WHR announcement vid. Song got totally stuck in my head.

But it was still with trepidation that I got the album, I'd gotten two more tracks from it, and while they were nice, they weren't blowing me away. But hey, it was cheap right? Luckily, it seemed I'd grabbed all the wrong tracks, as when I popped it in I was really liking stuff, and then I got to Imaginary. "Hmm, this sounds familiar, maybe I grabbed it at work . . . HEY WAIT A MINUTE." Turns out a year ago at A-kon I saw a Shamanic Princess AMV to it, and I'd really liked it. So I was just doomed to buy this album - thanks to an even earlier AMV. Now if I could figure out where I've heard Whisper before.

In other news. Open season on Dearka (Gundam SEED). Nurse Pink-chan will cure your ills. And I'm a wreck this week.
