La di da. Missed Columbia meeting, went to the orchard that wasn't open. Ate a donut. Like pie. Finished BGC2040, not sure what happened.

Now I wait for the work day to end - so I can run like hell, vote before the polls close and yet still make it home in time for the Buffy musical, which I'm terrified I'm going to be disapointed at since I'm too hyped to see it. Oh, added PatrickD to the blog list.

1. I'm not depressed anymore - I'm still mad though. I stay mad for a long time.

2. I got a CD I'd been looking for for a long time at BAAF - so I can't say the whole thing sucked. Course I can't really say it sucked since I saw precious little of it. But I can say it was disapointing.

3. The CD in question is the X Character Drama OST - and it is beautiful - Kanno and Mizoguchi contributed half the pieces and some are stunning. The cards by CLAMP are cool too - nice complement to the Drama CDs I already own ^_^

4. My Animaxis order came! So I now own . . . a REGION 2 DVD. AIIEEE! and no - I still can't play it at home -_- Its the PSME movie and music videos - almost zero chance of coming out here - and for an R2 it was cheap, couldn't say no. So I tossed in the Gravitation OVA OST (they sold out of the TV one ;_;), the X TV OP single (eX Dreams), the X OVA single set (way to spend money girl) and the Yami no Matsue OP/ED single - which has CD-ROM stuffies I must figure out how to access. I must say I am pleased with these purchases so far!

5. This weekend I hit Book-off and got Peach Girl 7 for me and some stuff for Jasc and Aya and as I was finishing my scan of the Hana to Yume section when an employee came with some new books she was trying to fit on the shelf. Which was about to cause some major rearranging. When I noticed they were Angel Sanctuary 15, 17-20. AKA the end of the series. Did I own any AS manga? Nope. But was I gonna say no to five volumes at $2 each? Nope. So I asked her if I could just grab them - and she was very relieved she didn't have to redo the shelf.
Now I need 1-14 and 16. Oops!

there is someone out there. She doesn't know me from Eve. But I respected her. I admired her. I defended her when people detracted her publicly.

Until tonight.

See, I did something - that I didn't think was too bad, heck I didn't think it was bad at all. I posted something where I rarely do. And silly me - I thougt there was still some relevance.

Well apparently not. And I offended her. And she responded in a very disrespectful way.

I'm hurt by this. More than I should be I know, but I'm hurt none the less.

I should know better - since my first post on USENET years ago. I follow the rules and I get slapped for it. I got flamed. And damnit, I'm sick of it. I should be quiet, and sit in the corner and not attract attention.

Be a good girl. Play the servant, sing in the choir, never stand out. Be dull and boring and unattractive and . . .

Someone buy me a thicker skin. Everytime I think I've got one something cuts through it.
