as much Zoids as CN has
deigned to air, Simpsons -
one ep left (the busted tape strikes again), finished Enterprise, now its 70s show (10 eps and a special?), Jeremiah and 24 to
go. But missing two 24
eps. (which being an idiot I
missed on the first)  Making sure not to

What a way to start the weekend
Saturday, September 7, 2002 03:16 p.m.

I get home form work to Shotoki aka Dani, telling me there was going to be an all important Farscape chat, and I had,
to be there. Had to be there It did not help that he prefaced
it with "Bad news Sapphy!"

So, he wouldn't say what, but by then Evil Scenario #1 had already popped into my head - Sci-fi backs out of season 5. By the time the chat rolled around, I'd come up with about seven others. So when the announcement came down, it
was kinda anti-climactic. What wasn't was the timing.

Yes, folks, my current favorite non-anime show has been effectively cancelled. And the chances of saving it slim - this came down with no time to spare. Shooting for season 4
ends early next week (so no conclusion) and they are
already moving to tear things down.

Shotoki has set up this page with all the relevant info. I
know there are some of you out there who don't really watch
it - but do buy the DVDs - so this pertains to you too.

This really killed my plans to watch my season 1 boxset this weekend.

The Good WHAT?
Thursday, September 5, 2002 02:45 a.m.

I am tired, my throat hurts and I have an audtion
tomorrow, which is today. Good time to work on license
list, right?

AXNY news will make its way somewhere, sometime.

Reading in several languages
Monday, August 26, 2002 10:50 a.m.

So yesterday, that was a nice day. Finally met up with
Touga no Miko, in NYC no less, for the long talked about
trip to Book-off. And Book-off was kind. Sure most of what I got was for other people, and now I have to mail it all, but I got a Kenshin artbook I'd been wanting for a while now, and the first Rayearth artbook (hardcover remember), which I'd pretty much given all hope on. Not to mention been
tempted to fork over insane amounts of money for it.

But the true jewel, the sign that I'd been meant to go to
Book-off was the G Gundam Battle Memory. There it was as
I went up the to the artbook section, just sitting there, with
this insanely goofy picture of Rain and Domon (and Fairy Allenby) on the cover. Oh and the book is chock full of G Gundam goodness. Sure its in Japanese and what not. But
it does cover the whole series, has great design sketches,
key points in the anime, character data, etc. etc.

And remember : G Gundam is love. You will see.

We also went to Asahiya (she'd never been there) and Kinokuniya, and since I'd vowed she'd get Parakiss 2 by the end of the day, it became her early birthday present. There was also a street fair near by, so we had meat on a stick
and crepes. Truly a good day. Except for the never getting around to cleaning the bathroom part.

Which brings me to this morning.

Some people should really learn. Its a basic thing, but they just assume I can't read? So laugh it up. Mariela the
vindictive bitch has just decided to undo a nice thing she did last week. I made my case. I know what is up with my life. Glad to know you all magically do. If you all think you can
do a better job with my life, c'mon over, give it a try. But
you have to take over the whole thing, kay? Now I have to
get to work, where we are understaffed and I don't have the time I should have to get things done. Feel free to try your hands at that too.

Yayaya oo lalala
Friday, August 23, 2002 08:29 p.m.

So this week I have gone to picnics and parties and spent a little more than I should have. And I have danced the Ham-ham dance in public, yes, I could not stay away from the Hamataro toy launch. I did wait till the TV cameras were
gone though. But I got a most nifty button.

I've also worked late too many times, saw the Birds of Prey pilot and realized to my horror, I was going to add a show to my viewing schedule this fall. And after all those shows were nice enough to get cancelled on me.

I love G Gundam. In that same insane way I loved Wing.
That I MUST MUST MUST MUST MUST see the next episode
way. And I like far too many of the characters too much. I'd link to a page on it but, Every Single Good G Gundam page has been killed by traffic in the last 3 weeks. Suckage. And
I didn't grab nearly enough pictures fast enough.
