The name of the game today. Lateness and back pain. I am overwhelmed by both. Of course, since I'm not sleeping ATM, my chances of that recurring tommorow are great.

The other thing in my life is my backlog of TV - which is sick. Of course, with things comming down to the wire on the show - its not gonna get better any time soon. -_-

Since I did manage to catch up on figure skating I'll say this. I'm not happy with who won (I don't like her) but at least I see why. Unlike that good for nothing little grrrrrr. The gods have decreed that I shall not like an Olympic Champion after Kristi Yamaguchi.

Its amazing what people will do to get something they could have just asked for. But its worth it. I think.

What a week. Didn't do things I wanted to. Did things I didn't expect. Got through an intense scene that scared me, still not quite there, but better. Finally got that part of the Wedding staged - load off my shoulders.

So I sit here, bemused and exhausted. Got 3 hours of sleep last night. Should probably just go pass out - even if it means not doing any Olympic catch-up. But its been a fun 24 hours.

Hmmm . . . not even. Atatakai . . .

Amazing how a perfectly good day can be destroyed in 30 seconds. Amazing how much can die as a result of misunderstandings. But there is no point in defending myself. I'm mature enough to know a losing battle. As long as the people that matter know.

But so help me god, if someone tries this crap during rehearsal again . . . no, its just not gonna happen. Do things on your own time. Don't wreck other people's time to make yourself feel better. I can take it. Say what you like. But there is a time and place. And that wasn't it.

Rehearsal skirts and checks

My not getting a paycheck today was totally made up for by the fact they got us rehearsal skirts at last which helps sooooo much to get in character and move around. Then we really did 2-3 for the first time, and we did pretty good, and I sang, and people were near tears. Which is good cause that's kinda the point of the scene.

We didn't get to really do 2-1, but we restaged 1-6 with the music. Which completely changed the dance. And for the better! The change from shock to enjoyment is much smoother and it really helps with my confusion and near panic at the end. WHEEEEEEEE!

Then when I go home - open the mailbox, TV Guide, junk, weird tax label and envelope from A.D. Vision. MY CHECK Yes, ADV owns me or something. And I really truly have been paid for voice acting. Which rocks and is totally going on my resume.

Now, to dance around like loon some more and watch tonight's Buffy.

Stupid Macross box altering how I pay off my bills this month. Wah. Thank the gods I'm not buying KOR. Heh heh heh.

Its Monday, which means no rehearsal. I find as 5 PM draws near that I'm almost missing it. Even if it does mean I get to make more money today. Course, since Angel is new tonight, I can't really stay late and do things at the office. Maybe next week? As is, the next two days we really tackle my two biggest scenes, so I'm gonna be dead come Thursday. On that day the calls is "ENTIRE CAST" - but looking over the scene list, I'm not in any of the scenes only in the "Time permitting - Wedding/Dream scenes." I gotta argue there is no need for me to get there at 6:30 for something "time permitting."

Now, to find the time to get my nails done before I kill them. Or poor Aaron when I dance with him.
