Xbox 360 rave below...
So, it was launched the morning (12.01am), but I know that no one would drive me. Besides, I was really tired.
Maybe it's all the influence of the release hype or my brain has really bad timing or something, but I bring you... AKU'S XBOX 360 DREAM.
It just randomly launches into my dad having bought me and Chip a 360, and we're going to dinner that night. For some reason, at that point in my dream, we're living in a fancy mansion and dad and I are out on the massive balcony overlooking the ocean and he suggests that I wear it (the 360) to dinner.
See, I dunno WTF that was all about, but in my dream we acted like it was totally normal. I told him that I didn't want to, but he insisted that I did but I said I would get mugged because it was a 360. But he said he didn't care.
Now, that whole dream is just proof that I'm never going to get a 360.
A) You do not WEAR your 360. Duh.
B) My dad says portable consoles should stay at home, which is most unjust. No, really, I was playing Dynasty Warriors for the PSP for two seconds because I wanted to win one battle, and he was like 'Turn it off! Turn it off!!' The battery died two seconds later. He has powers of mind-screwing-stuff-up.
Anyway, he would never EVER encourage the bringing-along of an expensive console.
That, ladies and gentlemen are my two cents.
Oh yeah, every smart friend that I've ever had who happens to be good at music/sport/both? Stop it. Really, you must be a Russian super-experiment, because only the Russians are ingenious enough to think of that. Anyway, it's not NORMAL for people to be good at all three. Come on, let's blend in, shall we?
And being a Russian super-experiment does NOT make you Russian.

Happy St. Patricks' Day, bitches.
Last exam of the term! Apart from the english oral, which I haven't started. Legal was easy. I studied in the car this morning, which made me feel incredibly sick. So today was Monica's birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!) so we went to Plaza for the usual, DDR, movie, etc etc. Movie was Aeon Flux, and this is just my two cents, but that movie sucked so badly. I mean, who wears white to an infiltration mission at night? I ASK YOU, WHO? And several parts of it reminded me of certain videogames, but no spoilers.
Anyway, met Monica and Sally and Alice and Elaine's friend, Josh. For some reason, I keep thinking of him as Alvin. Just me.
And I finally made a legal album purchase! Wild Gold IV.

IPT is not so bad.
But I'm not worrying about Maths, which disturbs me slightly. I mean, I'm probably going to fuck up problem solving, because that's what I specialise in. Anyhoo, I managed to get myself sick, and by dinnertime on Friday I was sniffling and didn't manage to taste any of the udon that I ate. I DID find a neat shop that sold army supplies though. Might go check it out one day. I'm sick to death of wanting camo pants, but always going to General Pants/Myer/etc and seeing the same Industrie ones with pink/yellow/white floral/text design on them.
I was bored and unable to concentrate on maths this morning, so I escaped to the PC to go check out stuff on jay is games, which is terrific. I ended up playing a wonderful game called Pokku's Friend. If there is a flash game that will make you cry, it's gonna be this one. It's wonderfully sweet and touching. Go play it now. I don't freaking care if you can't read Jap.
And a warning to all you kiddies: new layout soon. After I finish exams, hopefully. Featuring Naked Snake, in GREEN! And using a layout generator I found somewhere. Damn, it's handy.

It was quite scary, and she even asked to look in my bag! When we were outside, I asked Sarshy why the lady didn't ask to look in HER bag.

Stress and all that rubbish.
Stress, and Chinese is pissing me off. Chinese test on Friday, and I'm so fucked because I suck, MAJORLY at speaking. Not to mention listening. And for once, thank Sanzo for band. Band actually destressed me! Maybe because we're playing stuff from LOTR, which makes me happy. It sounds so epic and shit.
And we got our exam timetables. Emily's got 3 days off! I've only got one. Boo. I swear, if I survive exam block, I'm going to go straight to EB after that and spend all my money.
MGS3: Subsistence! Have to get the limited edition! I could gather the family one night and watch it as a movie or something.
I went to a dinner with Sarshy on Saturday, SHADOW OF THE COLOSSUS, WHOOO. I have to admit that I was a little sceptical of the whole 'genius' behind it, but it's actually really good. And Psychonauts is terrific.

Finished Paranoia Agent last night, and I can honestly say that I really really enjoyed it. Something I'll watch again and again and again and again.
Downloaded Akira Yamaoka's new album, which is absolutely wonderful in every single way. But I've always been a Yamaoka whore, so I might be biased. Anyway, been so inspired by it that I'm going to write a bunch of drabbles based on his songs. Writing exercise or obsession? You take your pick.
Swimming carnival tommorow, another day out in the sun. Doing absolutely nothing, might I add. And I really need to find the proof of purchase for my MP3 player, which has a totally messed up headphone jack.
Can't believe it's week 5 of term 1 already.

Just returned from band camp, which involved about 7 hours of squinting at music. Ok, maybe not 7 hours, considering the time allowed for morning/afternoon tea and lunch. So, playing Star Wars Episode II stuffs, but everything is SO COCKING HIGH it's not even funny. And honest to God, I'm so bad at this that I can't tell a high high F from a high high A. Ugh. AND SO, MR WILLIAMS, WHY DID YOU PUT ME IN SENIOR BAND AGAIN?
In other news, I be happy. I worship Akira Yamaoka, that man is genius. So browsing around on #gamemp3s, I found another OST by him. Hey hey, Yamaoka-sama!

When your internet keeps timing out on a web-based game, it can be good, or it can be bad.
I've been playing Urban Dead, right? My freaking internet keeps timing out (hence the entry title) so I keep restarting in the place where I had logged off with 50HP and 25AP. Blooooody hell. I mean, it's good, kinda. So if I stuff up I can just 'respawn', in a sense.
And while on the quest for a good MUD/MMORPG, Sarsh and I just decided to go and replay DL. And I'm not making the same mistake that I made before with class and race (Elf/Rogue >_>;;; I COULD NOT LEVEL. HONEST TO GOD.), so... Phasian/Paladin. Hooray? Hooray.

Got the biggest scare in my whole fucking life yesterday. I was in Chinese, and I had my fanfic book open beside me and my teacher ends up confiscating it and telling me that I have to see her a lunchtime to get it back.
HOLY FUCKING ARGHBLA. She didn't look at it though, thank the Lord. Well, I hope she didn't otherwise I'd be so fucking screwed. Or expelled or something for writing pornography in school.
I miss RE4. I haven't played it since Jono came over, and mum refuses to give me the controllers on weekdays. >_<
Paranoia Agent finished downloading, which makes me teh happy. Watched about 4 episodes last night and... uh... I like Mamori. o__O;;;

Chip's at camp. Chip's at camp = Killer7. <3 ^______^ Finished CLOUDMAN after getting Garcian killed once by the boss and then having to go ALL the way back from before I collected all the figurines. The second time I got up to the boss, I realised that there was a Harman's Room right next to it. My reacton: '..........................'
I practically cheated the whole level. I kept using Kevin's invisibility because I didn't want to battle Giant Smiles. >__>
Borrowed a book from the library, it's a collection of disturbing Grimm Fairy Tales. It makes me happy. Everyone should go out and read it. Though some of the illustrations are a little unsettling.
Speaking of books and reading, I AM ACTUALLY READING MANGA AGAIN. Shock horror. Manga is Death Note, and it's the best thing I've read since Saiyuki Reload #5. Well, yes, there was your daily dose of bias.
It's just... wonderful. No stereotyped characters, it makes you think and think and think, and it presents moral questions for you. And L is awesome.

I have another very good excuse for not updating.
There was a virus that prevented me from installing Norton, so the PC man had to take it away to format it T___T.
About the writing workshop: Remember my last entry? I actually DID stand up and say that I wrote about 'homosexual men with other men'. And then everyone was interested in me. o___O There was this one giggly girl who kept asking me if I really did like gay guys and I was like 'Yes, I find them fascinating'. She asked for my email ad and everything and I felt very... crowded. But it was a very good workshop, no one believed I was turning 16 this year, and I'm inspired to start writing poetry again.
Kinokuniya didn't have Hand in Killer7. Boooooo. HOWEVER, Topdrunkee is a fucking GOD and uploaded an OST sampler, which I promptly downloaded. And then Akushitsu, the new member of the SINdicate gave a url with the ENTIRE OST. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! But you know, I'm still going to order it off Yesasia. Because I support artists and shit. But yes, found a novelisation of MS Gundam (the original one!) and am loving it so much. I'M ACTUALLY READING IT. It's pimpy love. And they had the beautiful Artwork of MGS book there, but I didn't have sixty two freaking dollars!
We walked past Sony Central, and it was the one that sold games and stuff so without stopping myself, I said really loudly 'THAT'S THE PLACE WHERE THE WHORE OUT PLAYSTATIONS' with mother right beside me. I think she's deaf, because she asked 'What?' =P
At the airport before we boarded the flight back here we had McDonalds, and we were sitting near a bin that said 'NO LIQUID PLEASE'. I looked at it and burst out laughing and said to Chip 'Hahaha, look, Liquid's a reject!' Then I giggled some more and got mum's camera phone and took a picture of it. Everyone stared. I'm inspired to start a gallery on ChaoticDance now, one where I upload photos of all the everyday things I see that remind me of MGS. Speaking of which, there was an oil spill somewhere around Queensland yesterday, which has led me to believe that there is a NEW METAL GEAR in production. Uh, yes.
And... Year 11 now. I scored awesome teachers, and I really like my subjects (though Accounting is boring as hell, but I have Sarshy next to me to keep me company, NO SUSSNESS) and I MAKE NEW FRIENDS. <3 Got Mrs. Hart again for Maths, w007!!!!!

I have a good excuse for not updating this time. Really. My computer at home is dead. Completely and utterly screwed. Internet works fine, so if I ever get desperate, I can use the PSP, but to update blogs and stuff? NO WAY.
I finished MGS2 on Monday. I cried when Emma died, even though I didn't like her that much. Must've been because of Hal's angsting-ness. And it's never really clarified that Vamp died (because I don't want him to! Vamp is awesome!). I find myself quoting Ocelot all the time now ("My name is Shalashaska! Also known as Revolver... Ocelot.") But I mess with Ocelot whenever I can, and pronounce the 'A' in Shalashaska as A in Apple. XD
In more Metal Gear related news, I FINALLY GOT MY HANDS ON THE FIRST ONE. I found it at Forest Lake, at the new game shop, where it was all tucked away in a nifty little display case, along with FFVIII and (OMGS) Legend of Dragoon. LoD = 150 DOLLARS!! So MGS was 50, but they were all out of mem cards. Jono's coming over on Monday though, so I'm going to ask him if he wants to give me one.
Which means I finally called him. I told him all about my breakup with Justin, and told him about Sarsh. I told him I was going out with my best friend... silence on the other line.

You get the point. XD It was pretty funny though.
I went to Sarsh's house on Wednesday, and I swear, I missed that girl so much. I still don't think my parents approve of me being in relationship with her, though. They had a talk with me about it about 4 weeks ago, and they thought I wasn't being serious about it, and basically, it ended with me in tears. I've made up my mind; I don't care if they don't approve of it or not, I'm going to love this girl with everything I am.
And now I have to leave.

He was a pseudo-friend (I say 'Pseudo' cuz he wasn't the nicest guy in the whole world). We first met in Grade 10, when I lent him Zelda: Link's Awakening and he finished the 2nd dungeon for me. SIDE NOTE: I've never been able to finish that dungeon since he came along and beat it once. CURSE YOOOU!
From grade 5 to 7 I've always had little on and off crushes on him, and sometimes he could be the sweetest guy ever. But meh.

Ok, because I can't be bothered typing all the details again, I'm going to copy and paste from what I typed in my email to Sarsh.
Today dad randomly decided that the DS would be the Xmas present for Chip and me (bad grammar!). So then Chip was like 'What about Tekken 5?!' He has been hankering for that game FOREVER, I swear. So dad was like 'Well, yeah, whatever, you can go buy Tekken 5 and Bev can go and buy a game too'.
So I STRUCK! I'm in a state of very good shock, because I've got a copy of Resident Evil 4 now, sitting in my GCN. It's surprising because NO ONE questioned its questionable content. There was this one part where I heard the Spanish crazy people yelling something (in Spanish), so I freaked out and ran into a house, then I saw this dead person pinned to the wall with a pitchfork through her face. >______>;; I went 'WARGH!' inwardly and shrugged after that. o_o
So yes. The shotgun is a lovely lovely gun to have. Especially when there're people in close range. I swear, the Spainards (that doesn't look like I spelt it right...) are total freaks, I shoot them in the head, they get back up! Like zombies! Except human! Chip and I are having a contest to see who dies first their respective games ^_^ Looking at my situation, I think I'm going to.

Well, I finally got a DS. PRAISE! HURRAH! And while at EB, decided to buy many other things. Bought Chip's present (Tekken Tag Tournament), he bought mine (MGS2!!!!!!!!!! <3 <3 and Morrowind), and I bought random game magazine. Said game magazine has TEN PAGE ARTICLE on MGS4. Had to buy it! Had to! I dropped it a first, and sobbed loudly. Insert staring at Aku here. Then I picked it up, and bought it. I've done my fangirlish deed for the day!
And yesterday I got round to watching Advent Children. The DVD was pirated, thus, really bad subs.

Harry Potter was ok. Could've been much much better. And NO, I am not biased because they had practically NIL Sirius screentime! But then after the movie I went back to Sarsh's place. There was no one home, so we just sat there for an hour, holding each other. It's the most beautiful thing in the world, feeling the one you love against you.
Then we went to Jacqui's place and played D&D for about 4 hours. Hopefully I'll be able to see her again before she leaves for Melbourne, because I'm going to miss her so much.
So yes, at the Gold Coast now. Across from where I'm sitting, across the lake, there's an Xmas party. People + Heat + Aku = GAAAaaahH.
There's a pirated copy of Advent Children in this house. I MUST WATCH IT.

I was dragged to Chip's Night of Celebration. Much like our Speech Night, but those poor fools, it's compulsory! Heh. So anyway, their performing arts freaking sucks. It's so off-key and they killed ODE TO JOY! You do not kill that song, ever.
Skool's out! Total (?) freedom for 7/8 weeks. I have so many games I have to finish, and hell, I haven't even installed Chaos Theory. Today was activity day, which equalled mini Olympics and Treasure Hunt. I guess that, in a sense, I enjoyed the Olympics more than the treasure hunt. Ha, I lost my group during the treasure hunt. God, I'm crappy.
Going to a movie with Sarsh tommorow (OMGS, MY FIRST DATE!), namely HARRY POTTER. And afterwards, going to Jacqui's place for Xmas gettogether. On Sunday, I head for the coast. Sarsh lent me her DS and gave me back my copy of Phoenix Wright so I could play it. Play it, duh. She kept telling me of the INCREDIBLE SLASHINESS, and hell, it is INCREDIBLY SLASHY. I will refrain from drawing love hearts when the cross-examination screen with Wright and Edgeworth pops up. And heck, I actually had a DREAM?! AN EDGEWRIGHT DREAM?! My grip with reality fades.
Anyone know where I can find Dragonbooster slash? Ok, I SUCK, I KNOW! Dragonbooster has a horribly lame storyline and everything, and I wouldn't have watched it if I didn't go to Rivindi's house. There was something about the main character's voice... and then I realised. Matt Hill. MY first voice actor obsession. Played my fave character in show I love. Is BASS/FORTE in MEGAMAN!
I don't like this layout much anymore. It gives me a headache when I look at it for some reason. And yes, I still love Kefka, it's not his fault!

Well, I finally told my parents. They thought I meant platonic at first and I was like 'NO! NOT PLATONIC! I LOVE HER MORE THAN THAT!' And I do. I really love Sarsh, and I would do anything for her, I honestly would. Kinda makes me wonder why I was oblivious to it before.
She gave me a rose today, a single red one. I honestly feel so intensely happy and I love her so much.
Dammit, still haven't performed English oral. I thought I'd be performing it today, but I was very very wrong. I'm really happy though, I improved a whole grade in Ec+Law! And Mr. Bush lent me some games that came with his new graphics card - Prince of Persia: SOT and Splinter Cell: CT. YES! =)

I panic mindlessly over Ec+Law. Well, no.
But I've always sucked at Ec+Law. Especially Ec. A whole year, and I still don't know how the teacher marks the work! You can spout out all the right answers, and she'll still mark you down. She wants me to explain, I presume. TEXTBOOK ANSWER! What is there to explain?!
Turns out Justin was with someone since October last year. Information courtesy of his sister. I'm not sure if it's true or not, but everything's over between us anyway. That little ditty of info just wiped him from my mind. And honestly, I don't care because I have the most wonderful girl in the world to love me.

Justin and I broke up yesterday. I think it's pretty obvious why, considering the circumstances. I did it for all 3 parties involved. Sarsh, because I know she can't cope with it. Justin, because I feel that he should have someone to make him happier than he's ever been. I've realised that I can't do that, and I'm sorry. Me, because it just doesn't feel right for me. I'll love Justin, I always will.
Happy news now, I GOT THE EVER SEXY PSP. It is a gorgeous piece of hardware. I'm a little suspicious as to where my dad bought it though, as the instruction manual was photocopied. Hum.
So yes, games were Ridge Racer and Coded Arms. Coded Arms isn't as awkward as I thought it would be, being an FPS on a PSP and all. I'm hitting myself for recommending Ridge Racer to my brother though, because I got RR and Wipeout Pure confused. Gaaaahblaaaa. Oh well, he seems happy enough with it. Drifting thrills him.
So yes, my dad's home, and he's all safe and sound. He also bought a sexy little digital camera. I don't remember what model it was.
Gave up on the MUD I was playing and went to play something else. This guy (whom I assume and PRAY was an NPC) freaked me out. Proper grammar! Proper spelling! You don't come across something like that everyday.

I'm in love with Sarsh. I'm in love with her, and I have been for a long time. It just took me a while to realise it. I love her, and she loves me. It's a dream. It took a while, but we're finally together.
Someone's thinking 'What about Justin?'. I know they are. I talked to him about it. He is an amazing, amazing person, he really is. He understands how I feel, and he's allowing me to love Sarsh. He understands that I'm the type of person who needs to have someone to hold me, and to tell me that they love me so I can hear it. I will always love him.
So now I just have to tell the parents how I feel about her. Honestly, I get all misty-eyed and everything just thinking about her. You know, I'm really going to miss her during the summer holidays. She'll be in Melbourne.
Speech night tommorow. Rehearsal from 8.30am-1.00pm. Then the actual night itself. Oh, living hell.

I was supposed to have a flute concert today. I didn't go because my head felt like it split open. Curses, I dunno why. Panadol makes everything better.
Next week will be a living hell for me, with about 5 tests/assignments. Maths, Chinese, English, Chem, Ec+Law. ICT doesn't count, we're doing robotics. Sam and I got (randomly) put in a group together. LIVING HELL! And amazingly enough, we got work done in maths today. Except for that one page of crack drawings that were drew.
I'm in senior band next year. After choir rehearsal yesterday, Melinda accompanied me to the music block so I could check the band lists for next year. I was reading the intermediate list and my name wasn't on it, so I was like 'YES! NO MORE BAND!', and Melinda says 'Maybe you should check the senior band list'. So I do, and lo and behold, my name's on it. After screaming softly and getting over the shock and going 'Wtf. WTF?' I guess I'm over it. Well, Talia's in senior, which is very good.
Lately I've been going through this Russian phase. I mean, I want to learn Russian. It's a sexy language and everyone there has sexy names. Sarsh found a big book on Russia in the reference section, so I'm like 'HEART!'

Went to an advance screening of Corpse Bride yesterday, and it was good. Good, but it felt as though it was missing a certain something. I mean, if you watch Nightmare Before Xmas and then you watch Corpse Bride, you'll know what I'm talking about.
My Black Books set has the Elephants and Hens episode! I jumped up and screamed 'OMGS, YES!!!', because that it seriously one of my fave eps. "Ohhh. The monkey's got it in the tree! He gives it back. They all drink lemonade... THE END!" Ahh, good times.
I've also learnt an important lesson, do NOT DDR in Converse shoes. Dammit, blisters.

So, I beat the FREAKING IRON BEETLE THAT KEPT HEALING 1400 HP on Baten Kaitos, and I made an observation. The first time you battle Giacomo, the BG music that plays is Chaotic Dance. The first time you battle Folon, the BG music that plays is Chaotic Dance. Naturally, I expected the BG music for the Ayme/Iron Beetle V battle would be Chaotic Dance, but it isn't. Hoohoo. Am I looking too far into the GiacomoFolon pairing? Yes, yes I am. If you squint a lot and use your imagination, it's all there.

Today's the Chinese speaking test, which I finished writing up last night. Guuuuh, speaking. My worst of the four. Fortunately, I think she marks easier for speaking than anything else.
WOOHOO, got invited to my first LAN party. It's sometime in January, which means I probably can't go cuz I'll probably be in Sydney. DAMMIT.
Dad's in Singapore, says he'll buy the DS and PSP on the weekend. He comes back next Friday. THUS, NINE DAYS.
Soul Calibur 3 demo! Ah god, I love Tira. And yesterday, while playing FFVII, I have come to the conclusion that Aeris is NOWHERE NEAR as annoying as Tifa. Gaaah, Tifa. I also installed a demo for an RPG called Blades of Avernum (or something, I can't remember), and I went around robbing everyone's houses. I couldn't figure out why nothing bad was happening to me, but then I was finally branded a criminal and then all the guards killed me. Hooray for fugitives!
