10:26 p.m.
I rarely get sick. I would like to think I have a good immune system, but it's probably due to the fact that I'm a hermit, so I don't get exposed to much of anything. Nevertheless, when I do get sick, I find it to be a very interesting, if not really bothersome, experience.
Last time I got significantly ill, was about a year ago when I had that vomiting spell, which I wrote about in this blog. From that experience, I have changed in two ways. One is that I had come to really appreciate the efforts of my dad and grandmother, for putting up with me while I was sick.
The other thing was that from that moment onwards, I could never, EVER look at two foods without cringing. It had happened before. I once ate some jalapeno chips, and got sick with the flu (the normal kind) afterwards. It was some time before I ate jalapeno chips again, because I had associated them with illness.
One of the foods this time, was actually jalapeno Doritos, which actually makes me think that jalapenos have it out for me. That day, I had consumed about two-thirds to seven-eights of a bag. Those jumbo bags. The other food is actually a chinese food, so I'm not really sure what it's called in english. A phonetic translation would be 'fat choi', and it's sort of a moss, with a hair-like appearance.
Now don't get me wrong, these foods are actually quite good. However, there is a special reason while I will forever remember them. I won't really describe it, but let's just say those foods are particularly distinguishable from other foods, even after slight digestion. Also, the flavour of those Doritos really, REALLY last. Not very pleasant the second time around.
That told, I had gone to dinner tonight rather hungry, but when I cast my eyes upon the dinner table what should greet my eyes? 'Fat choi'. Considering what I just described, my reaction seemed natural. My reaction being a scream of horror.
Well, perhaps not that natural, but whatever. I continued to be overly dramatic during dinner, at which my dad would pat me on the head, and try to hide his smirk.
... Yeah. The point of this story? I have no clue.
Oh, and this Christmas? My sister and I got a crap load of stuff. Of course, this is reasonable since my aunt had taken us shopping for our own presents, but... yeah. We went to two different places on Christmas Eve and Christmas. I got to see my little cousins, and I missed being the youngest at those family gatherings. Mainly because we had to keep the TV on kid friendly, stations like Treehouse. Gwaugh.
Anyway, Merry belated Christmas, and a Happy premature New Year! At elast to those who read this within four days time.

10:05 p.m.
I meant to say this last Thursday, but you guys totally rock. Like, you rock so much, that your levels of rock have the combined rock-ness of the five most rockingest people in the world below your rocking-ness in status. That is a great deal of rock, indeed.
...Did I mention that you guys rock?
So anyway, It's the long christmas weekend, and boy am I glad. I was falling behind in my sleep, so I get to catch up now! Plus, I got lots of stuff to occupy my time. I've taken to building models again.
I used to build Gundam models like crazy, but I stopped after I builty about fifteen of them. Now I'm really having fun with EVA models. They are so amazing. There's just so much you can do with them. Plus, they have pretty much every accesory they use in the show, so that makes them very cool. Right now, I got EVA 03 and 02 for my birthday (ugh. Sixteen.), so I want 00. The blue one. *is greedy*
I also want to come up with a new layout for this. It's absolutely hideous. The problem is that I can't html my way out of a paper bag, and I don't know what I want to put here. I could draw something, but I can't draw for crap. What I'd give for the combined artistic talent of the CLAMP team, Tetsuya Nomura, and Myung-Jin Lee. Probaby a lot.
The Lord of the Rings movie. That was one of the best movies I've ever watched. EVAR. Then again, I like a lot of really bad movies too. Whatever. I liked it like a fox. On wheels. With butter. And soy sauce. With parsley. And lightning.
I've been really accident prone lately. Got more bruises now than I've had in years. And they're really, REALLY large bruises. That are also strange in colour. Yes.

10:42 p.m.
Hullo. I guess I haven't updated in a while. I didn't have much to say, though. Plus, I've been feeling pretty teenaged-angsty lately, but I made a special effort to update today. Why, you may ask? Simple.
It's National Cashew Day.
... In the U.S. anyway. Or was that last week?
Whatever.
Anyway, the most interesting thing that happened in the last, oh, month, is that I got two new CDs. Hellsing soundtrack CDs, which are really cool. They also have lyrics, unlike most of my favourite CDs. Whoa.
I had fastfood today. I know how stupid that sounds, but it's like an event around here. My dad's company was having some Christmas party thing for kids at Woodbine Centre's Fantasy Fair, so we went. I forgot how cool that place is. Sure, the rides are kind of dull, but at least they have rides. That, and their jungle gym rocks.
We had McDonalds for dinner, which was the first time in months. Since when have they been packing their hamburgers in boxes again? Or is it something that only that McDonalds has? Huh. After dinner, we walked around, but since we were too big to go on any of the rides, we went home. Yeah.
Oh yeah! I got FFX-2. It is surprisingly fun. I'm actually almost done, but since I skimped on the side quests, I've only completed about 60% of the COMPLETE game. Plus, the battles are a lot more interesting.

09:24 p.m.
I went out for dinner tonight. It was to celebrate my grandfather's birthday, so it was a medium sized family affair. It was with my dad's side of the family, so I could speak in English all dinner. WHich comes as a great relief since my Chinese skills are shriviling and dying. After dinner, my grandfather gave my sister and I money, which made me uncomfortable, since it was HIS birthday, but what can you do?
I've been watching a new anime this weekend. It was lent to me earlier last week, but I only got around to watching it this weekend. Holy crap. I watched all thirteen episodes in a row yesterday. Then I watched it again today. All of it. It's really strange, and really shoujo, but I really like it for some reason. I like it, to borrow a phrase from B, I LIKE IT LIKE A FOX. Yeah. It sucks that I have to return it.
...Or do I?
... Yes I do.
Last week, my computer engineering teacher said I looked troubled. Earlier, she said I looked pensive. Do I really? I usually save all my teenaged angst for home. Ehn. I guess she won't be surprised when I turn into a serial killer then. Not that I will, of course...
... But if I do, I would just laugh, and laugh.

09:44 p.m.
It's been an interesting day today. My left eye has been all throbby today, so after a day of agonzing over it, my dad suggested I keep it closed and covered for a while. Which is why I'm sitting at my computer with an eye patch. It's especially crappy since my left eye is my good eye, so everything is one dimensional AND blurry.
...But the eye patch makes me feel like a cartoon villian, so that's really cool.
My dad, sister and I went on a four hour grocery shopping spree. The interesting thing about being Chinese is that you need to shop at multiple supermarkets to get EVERYTHING you want. Sure they sell yu choy, and other chinese vegetables at Loblaws and No Frills now, but there's just something about Chinese supermarkets.
... It's probably the mould.
Anyway, after our insane grocery shopping spree, we went comic book shopping, and i got a new Ragnarok, and some magazines. Moe really wants to get the next OPM, so that I can pla the FFX-2 demo, because Moe is a dork. A dork with an eyepatch. (Arr!)
Oh! And my dad bought a cake for no reason! And we got a ham! HAM!@#

07:36 p.m.
It’s been a while since I’ve updated, eh? I’ve been meaning to, but I’ve been distracted lately and then pitas was all weird and… yeah.
So let’s see. Nothing really groundbreaking to comment on. My life is rather dull, and if anything interesting happened, most of the people who visit this blog are people who I know well. If not… well that would be strange.
So yeah. I missed the last four episodes of Hellsing, and I am extremely bitter about that. I was really anticipating it all week, and then the satellite cuts out and I miss it. It doesn’t help that that channel WILL NEVER SHOW IT AGAIN, but oh well, what can you do? That, and I have to wait thirteen weeks to catch the rerun of the last episode of Big O.
I’ve been sort of, kind, of doing my homework lately, which is leaps and bounds better than my previous work habits. Plus, I’ve been playing a lot more attention in all my classes. I guess I’m somewhat pleased, but come on, I really need to do better. I certainly hope I don’t have ADD or something. I mean, while I was typing this paragraph, I got bored and started playing Tetris for several minutes.
I've seen several documentaries lately. One was about ghosts and stuff, and I learnt that you can get an official Roman Catholic Church Exorcism, in this day and age, inspection pending of course. I also learnt from another documentary that one step away from “May Day” is “Pan Pan Pan”, and Swissair 111 Heavy may have crashed due to ONE faulty wire. It caught on fire in the cockpit behind all the panels, and the whole thing went to heck, causing all 219 people on board to die, with only one human body found intact.
I hate planes.
The final documentary was about life on the Veldt, and it had several cute and fuzzy baby animals, like lion cubs and leopard cubs… All of which died save one. The lion cub death was the saddest one of all. And cannibalism of any kind disturbs me.
Now, it’s time for, “you know you’re PACE when…!”
B and Moe: Blah, blah, blah!
Laura and Sensei-san: Eerie!
Laura: Hey! You said eerie at the same time I did! That’s eerie.
Moe: Eerie squared?
Sensei-san: Oh? And what’s the derivative of that?
Everybody!: “Too” eerie!
YOU MAKE MATH JOKES.

Oh. I heard that a little excercise stimulates brain activity. I gave it a try at home, and got a horrible headache. I guess I'm not used to it. Brain activity, I mean. That, or I'm more sick than I realize. That might explain my sudden nausea. It didn't help that I was really warm. Like, dehydrating warm. Liquids afterwards didn't help. Guuurgh.
I think there was something else I wanted to comment on, but I don't feel well, and I can't remember.
Mucus is gross.

09:14 a.m.
Like, whoa. I haven't updated my blog compulsively like I usually do. I blame my horrible illness. Yar!
So. I'm updating AT SCHOOL! Not only am I using the school computers for a non academic purposes, but I'm doing it IN CLASS! Buwhahahah!@# Fear my rule breakingness!
...Actually, I feel kinda of bad about this. But then again, I look around, and i see people playing all sorts of crazy crap, like Super Mario World. At least I'm doing something mildly productive.
Speaking of which, I should be working on my computer engineering project. A project of which I know nothig about. See, me and this other girl, the only other girl in my class, were faced with quite a dilemma when we were told to pick an assignment. See, we know JACK about computer engineering. Result? Us getting lumped together with two guys who actually know what they are doing. This would be so bad if they hadn't chose the most complicated project I've ever heard of. I mean, They're going to make a freaking input device, and malke a program to ensure that it works. I can't even BEGIN to think how that's going to work.
So anyway, we decided that it would be best if us gals worked on the basics section of the manual, while them guys did all the grut work. Still... I feel (and I probably am) a dead weight, and I absolutely HATE being a dead weight.
I bought a new Shonen Jump yesterday. Shaman King? How heart warming. I hope that isn't the last we see of Lee Bailong and Tao Jun. I am such a nerd.
Also, I have an embarrasing addiction to Teen Titans. I don't know why. It's not even that good of a good cartoon, but I can't help but love it. And the theme song? It's so fun to sing. It's especially crazy when it's in Japanese.
I took an online quiz last week. It said I was of average maturity. Psht. Yeah. Whatever.... la!
Oh! Oh! I highly recommend Hellsing. I saw the first three episodes, and it was fuuuunn. I mean, vampires? Cool. Plus, they have crazy catholics and (because B wanted an alliteration) pompous protestants. Fun. Sure there's a whole lot of swearing. Sure there's a whole lot of gore. It's still amazingly fun to watch.
I htink my busdriver is going senile. He forgets stops left and right. and once he did afive point turn on a small street. Still, he's a nice guy, and I doubt he'll do something drastic like forget to brake at an intersection.
You! All you go to the Pendako site, and weep at their superior art! Espeically the Jams. How can these people have this much talent? ARGH!@#
I probably should stop now, especially since other kids are getting busted for playing games left and right. I gotta be extra careful... even though I think our teach is giving us girls bias. Heh heh heh heh. It's good to be one of the two girls in a computer course with a female teacher.

08:13 p.m.
Weddings are crazy affairs, and as long as I live, I will never have one.
...Not that I'd have one after I died or anything, but, er, you know what I mean.
Actually, I didn't actually attend my cousin's wedding. It started at 11:30 in the morning or something, so my sister and I were labeled as not going since we'd probably be asleep when everyone left. Well, as it turned out, I woke up at 8:00 that morning just as my grandmother left, but I didn't tag along. The only reason I woke up that early in the first place was because I went to bed a 9:00 the night before.
Anyway, the only portion I attended was the dinner. I got dressed up in my silly pink shirt and we went to the Chinese restaurant where it was being held at 6:00. At first I wasn't sure if we were at the right restaurant, but then I turned an there was this huge picture of them. We were some of the first people to arrive and my sister an I were placed in a table in the corner while my grandmother and dad were seated at one of the facy tables with red tablecloths and gold bowls and crud.
Some of my other cousins arrived and we amused ourselves with silly banter until the dinner started. The DJ played weird music when the parents and the couple entered. Like dance music. Not very romantic. First was a slide show, filled with embarrassing photos of them and corny messsages. Then came speeches fromthe couple, and I learnt that my cousin not a look-at-me type of person.
Dinner was long with many courses. If you've ever been to a Chinese banquet dinner, then you'd know what it was like. Inbetween some of the courses, they would have games that would force the couple to do embarrassing things. Games of note are the ones where the bride had to identify the groom among other men blindfolded by touching their butts. My cousin wasn't actually lined up, but the hosts insisted that she pick one of the guys. She seemed to know since she said that he wasn't in the line, claiming that the butts were "too low", "too wide", and so on. She said that one of them had "love handles". Eww.
Another game involved the bride guiding a bag of ice in the groom's pants from one leg to the other. After much protesting they finally did it, and then forced some other people to do it. Then the DJ decided it would be a good time to play that song by Vanilla Ice. The bag of ice broke while in the guys pants. Much laughter, at the expense of that guy, ensued.
Anyway, those were pretty much the highlights of the night. My cousin (my younger cousin) and I got bored during the dancing portion of the night, so we went wandering around the plaza. We were kind of surprised at how many Chinese restaurants were long closed. I mean, it was only midnight. We were also surprised at how full the Just Desserts was. We wandered back to a somewhat drunk crowd.
The last dance of the night involved the couple slow dancing while all the remaining guests formed a cricle around them by holding hands. Personally I thought it was so that they couldn't escape until the bill was paid, but who knows? I had to hold the hand of a somewhat drunk guy, so it was interesting experiences all around.
There were also two cops that were at the doors all night. I think they had something to do with the bride's party. They were... rowdy. And one of them reminded me of a Chinese Mr. Van Ginneken.

Man, you know you're getting old when you look at the cover of a teen magazine like YM and think, 'those punk kids'. It's especially disturbing when you realize that they're the same age as you, you just think of them as being younger because you're used to seeing older people on the cover of said magazines.
As some of you may know, care of Joan, I am now the proud owner of a pink blouse. Fear it's pastel colouredness! Thrill at it's many buttons! Erm, yeah. It's for my cousin's wedding reception next Saturday, so I needed to get something that wasn't a smelly T-shirt, of which I am so fond.
Moe is a smelly, smelly child.
I also bought two new comics/manwha/manga. Whatever. Ragnarok is, as always, fun. I also got a FLCL manga, in hopes that I might finally understand what was going on. Unfortunately, this was not the case. In fact, now things make less sense. Oh well, Fooly Cooly!
Today was not a particulary good day, in terms of school marks. Not that I failed the Chemistry test (then I would hang myself for bringing disgrace upon my house), I just... didn't do well. Even by Moe's standards (!). Of course, I made stupid mistakes, like not adding properly. Oh silly Moe, 27 plus 43 does not equal 60. Poor fool. Mistakes like that cost Moe a full point, which is %4. Silly, silly Moe. Perhaps Moe should do her homework... Hmm..?
...Moe has also been referring to herself in the third person a lot. Next step, the Royal 'We'!
I would also like to state that I do not particularly depise any of my teachers (although I'm not extremely thrilled about attending their classes). I'm senseing a great deal of hostility towards them. Huh. Then again, I can't recall the last time I've ever actually 'hated' someone. Really, I can honestly say I don't hate anyone. To my knowledge. Of what I can remember. Even though my memory is so bad I think I'm senile... Moe be so mellow... in a crazed, anxiety filled manner.
KT is a SLUG KILLER.

07:48 p.m.
Like, dude! I haven't gone online (aside from at school)since Monday! I have many webcomics to catch up on. I blame Inuyasha and sleep deprivation.
Speaking of sleep deprivation, I must say, I can cause some funky dreams when you finally catch up on it. Last night, I dreamt the PACErs and I were involved in some sort of deathmatch, in which we were divided into two teams, and we hunted each other down in some sort of hedge maze. I remember specific PACErs too, but I won't mention them here. Oh! And there was an open area with some walls, so you could hide behind one as you shoot at people.
It was especially bizzare because it was like a FPS, in the sense that I could move my hands out of my line of vision, and a new gun would appear in my hands when I brought them back. Very weird.
So anyway, after I shot a few people in my dream, I entered the open area and hid behind a wall and tried to shoot fellow PACErs who were also hidden behind walls. After shooting a couple of times and not hitting anyone, I dragged the other walls closer to mine by grabbing onto the ground and pulling. I suppose I was hoping that it would be easier to shoot people if they were closer. Unfourtunately it didn't work because they could shrug it off lke the superhumans they are.
So I got a little bored with not being able to shoot stuff, so the PACEr's and I started talking about silly stuff as we tried to kill each other.
Finally, I got into a gunfight with another PACer, which basically involved us holding handguns and running around a perfume display (which misteriously appeared...!) trying to shoot each other. Each other DEAD. I shot the other guy three times, but he didn't hit me because he was rather listless, and because I could jump crazy like as if I was in Counter Strike.
Eventually, I felt bad, and offered to help stop the horrible bleeding coming from his bullet wounds when I realized that he turned into Vash the Stampede from Trigun. Then I woke up. BEST DREAM EVAR!!!!!!!111111
Did I mention that people from Breaker High were also in my dream?
So lesse... what happened this week? German kids came over! They gave our school a concert, and they can play very well. As B said, "Germans have RAW MUSICAL TALENT." Our school gave 'em teddy bears. I wonder if the older men in the band got some too... They left today, though. Although I haven't really met one, I will miss saying "The Germans", and "(insert name here)'s Germans". Good times.
I have been collaberating with the only other girl in my computer engineering class in the making of a game. It's like Dungeons and Dragons, only stupider and really limitted. Actually, I'm not really contributing. All I do is ask questions and write room descriptions. She does all the programming work, and man, does this involve a lot of programming. She is a genius. No other way to describe it. Plus, it works. Like, whoa.
My bus route changed, AGAIN. Four more stops. Che. I miss my old Bus drivers.
And that is all I remember. i think I had other stuff to say, but it pales in comparison to the dream I had. Best dream EVAR.

09:34 p.m.
After watching some hours of Blue Gender, I can say that I am so glad that my name does not rhyme with my sister's, because that would be mighty strange. Especially since there are very few girl names that rhyme, excluding the one billion names that end in an "y" noise. Aside from that, Blue Gender rocks, in an everyone-is-dying-there-is-no-hope-or-at-least-very-little-of-it way.
Although it does get a bit depressing and disturbing when all the characters you like die, and become large green food pellets for the aliens.
I should do my homework. I should be doing my homework. Unfortunately, that's very different from will. Instead, I think I'll waste my time, writing that story I've been wanting to do lately. Or at least get the idea down. It'll have so many cliches, it'll be a completely orginally... thing on its own. Plus it doesn't help that I can't design characters fer crud. Alas.
It has occured to me today that my family has not watered our backyard (or front yard for that matter) in a year. At least. Remember when we had that power outage, and they told us to let our lawns go brown to conserve water? Man, we were MONTHS ahead of them. It's funny when I look at our neighbour's lawn, which is all lush and green, and then look at our lawn. It's like whiplash.

10:54 p.m.
Went out for dinner yesterday fof the Mid Autumn Festival, which I think is odd since it isn't even fall yet, but who am I to argue with Chinese tradition? My grandmother made me eat a boiled yam. By itself. It was just impaled on a fork, with nothing on it. Every bite was agony.
We went to some Chinese restaurant on Yonge with my cousins, aunt, uncle. We were supposed to go with another uncle who was visiting from Hong Kong, but his flight was delayed, so it was just us. Once again, I learnt something new from my older cousin. The topic of the night was genetically modified food. I don't even remember how we got to the subject, but we just ended up talking about it and my sister, younger cousin, and I learnt something from her AGAIN.
Tonight, I went out with my other aunt, uncle and cousin. My sister and I had a philosophical discussion with this cousin, as we always seem to do with her. That or reminiscing. We ended up takling about crazy stuff like how we know we exist and stuff. Whoa.
Yesterday we also had an Honour Roll assembly. Some guy behind me proclaimed his love for Michelle, and then, when she told him that she, unfortunately, didn't return his feelings, he told me he loved me. He actually gave me a phone number. People are weird these days.
Today I helped B set up for the Honour Roll assembly for the gr 12s. I should join BATCO so I have something nice to put on my university applications or something, but I am far to lazy.
I think I'm getting sick. However, knowing my luck, I'll be feeling better by the time school starts. Joy.

10:09 p.m.
You know what's fun? Going to family barbeques, and not knowing everyone. That was just how fun my Sunday was. I was surrounded by a dozen or so relatives who I didn't even know existed. It was very embarassing and awkward.
Also, assuming that my cousin's children would call me aunt, I have had a niece for seven years now. And I also have another niece, and a nephew. I knew about the nephew, but not the two nieces. I didn't even know I had that many cousins on my dad's side. Plus, I also realized how many girls are in my family.
My uncle was there. He threatened to teach me how to ride a bike next weekend. Physical activity? Crap. he also showed me his knew motorcycle. Apparently, he know has a license to teach people how to ride motorcycles. I think my uncle and dad want me to learn or something... Learning how to ride a bicycle first might be a good idea though.
I forgot to mention last week that my bus route had been changing every day. Last Friday was especially strange, seeing as how the bus backed up to make a U turn during the route. The driver also asked my sister and I for directions. Crazy driver.

10:18 p.m.
Wow. The first week of school was really... schoolish. I'm not sure what to say. It wasn't unbearable, nor was it fun. Even though I tried to prepare myself for the change from vacation to school, it's still like whiplash. I was disoriented the first day.
So, my bus route is twenty minutes longer, with less than a third of the amount of student than last year. Seven stops, thirteen or so kids. I have to get up earlier and get home later. I almost wish my sister would drive me to school, but I don't trust her.
The classes are really... bleh. Computer Engineering is really, Really, REALLY boring. I have yet to learn anything I couldn't have on my own. Although, since I'm in the computer labs, I get to play stuff on the internet that I couldn't otherwise play since I have the slowest internet connection EVAR.
Math is okay. I despise graphing, mostly because it requires effort to draw, but I enjoy the formulas and what not. Mr Greto has an accent of sorts that I want to identify.
Computer Science is the most fun class I have all semester. It takes some getting used to, but it's fun. I'm actually learning pretty quickly in that class. I wrote a crappy program all by myself today! It calculates your average speed if you give it your starting time, finishing time, and distance. Although you have to insert the hours seperately from the minutes when you input the times. And it only works if the travelling occured in one day. And you need to input the time in the 24 hour clock. Yeah, it doesn't sound that great, but I am actually pretty pleased with myself. Also, my teacher is pretty laid back, so I can play with more stuff online! Yay!
Science is odd. All the science teachers in this school are a little... eccentric. Chemistry itself is kind of boring, but it's entertaining to watch the teacher.
All in all, it's okay. Especially since I don't really expect anything too big in terms of assignments from most of my classes.
The PACE class has been broken up too. If they aren't taking a PACE class I likely won't see them. I hardly see Aky anymore and I wouldn't see KT if she weren't on my bus and has the same lunch as B and I. I wanted to come up with a really dramatic way of naming this change. I could call it something stupid, like "The Shattering", but then people would look at me funny. Oh well...
