"Egypt is not the only country with mummies. In ancient Japan, Buddhist priests actually began the mummification process while still living. They would begin by going on a strict diet and loosing massive amounts of weight, slowly starving themselves to death. During this time they would meditate surrounded by candles. The heat from the candles was to dry out their bodies. The final step was being enclosed in an underground tomb for the final drying process. Sometimes this part was done after death, and others they were entombed here while still living, essentially being buried alive. The room was only large enough to allow them to sit in the lotus position and ring a bell connected to the outside so their followers would know if they were still living or not. There was a tube that allowed air into the underground tomb."

Isn't that great?
I haven't been feeling well lately. My stomachs been hurting on and off for the last few days. It hasn't been like this since I had that wild barfing day a few months back. I haven't been sleeping well either. Last night, I couldn't sleep, and when I finally fell asleep, I only slept for four hours. Surprisingly, I'm not that tired. Hopefully, this will go away after a while. That or I die a horrible death.
I would like to take this moment to comment on the CD collections known as "Kidz Bop", or something like that. If you are not familiar with these CD collections, they are basically, kids singing renditions of other songs. It's one thing to have CDs of kids singing songs like "London Bridge" or "This Old Man", but these particular CDs feature kids singing current songs, like stuff by Avril Lavigne, Three Doors Down, Edwin, and a myriad of pop music. The selection is mind boggling.
Now, I have to question, who would buy these CDs. If you liked the songs, wouldn't you rather buy the actual CD from the artist? At least they sing their songs well. I don't know, maybe I'm missing something, but I still cringe everytime I see these commercials.
My dad has been threatening to take us on a trip to PEI. I can only hope that he's bluffing.
My cousin is apparently getting married next Saturday. I knew he was getting married, just not so soon. I don't think we'll be attending his wedding. We being my family, and his parents and sister. I feel kind of bad, but he's in Halifax at the moment, everyone seems busy with jobs, and in my cousin's case, summer school on top of that. He said he's going to visit on the 29. I should find him a gift.
Oh yes, before I forget. I forgot to mention something on my previous blog entry. Chinatown on a hot summer day smells funny. And I don't mean Ha Ha funny. Graah.

10:23 p.m.
Hello all! I am in an excellent mood! Except for the fact that I have a funky headache. And the backs of my ears hurt. Grahurrgle. *dies*
My sister went downtown yesterday with her friends. She stopped by and anime store and binged. She got me a manga! "X" volume 15! I love it! It has baby Inuki! And everyone is so pretty, you almost forget that most of them die. Unfortunately, it's untranslated, but I've been teacking myself bits of Japanese. I can now identify some names, and figure out what they mean. Kick arse!
Today I woke up at the ungodly hour of 10:00 am to go downtown with my sister, my grandmother, and uncle. We went to get her hair cut, and my sister and mine as well. While we got our hair cut, my uncle went to the doctor.
If you look at my head, it's not really obvious that I got it cut, but if you stare, you'd notice that it's thinner and a tad shorter. There was a lot of hair on the floor after wards. In the immortal words of my grandmother, it looked like someone killed a dog.
Anyway, since my sister and I take all of twenty minutes to cut both our hair, we we told to wander around Chinatown while my Grandmother got her hair cut, which took a lot longer. We wandered in Chinatown and went to the mall my sister went to yesterday and looked at the anime, but we didn't buy anything. On our way back though, my sister bought me ice cream from an ice cream truck! I wuv my sister!
Well, when we got back, my grandmother still wasn't done, but she had called one of her friends over to the barber, and they were chatting. Aparently, they haven't seen each other for eight years (since we moved) but they still call each other, like, 5 times a week. She was actually pretty tall. She was as tall as my sister, who's five feet six. She's really healthy looking too. It's like she's a young person pretending to be old. Anyway, they had been friends since before I was born and she looked at us and was all surprised at how much we've grown and stuff.
Then, my uncle came back from the doctors and pharmacists, and we all went to a vegetarian place for lunch. It was funny to watch my grandmother chat wit her friend like two teenage girls. It was even funnier to watch two old ladies and a grown man argue over a bill.
On the way home, I saw the place where Aky is working! I saw the office with her dad's name on the outside and wanted to run outside and see if Aky was inside. Unfortunately, we were stopped at an intersection,, so I couldn't just run out. Plus, my uncle (the car driver) was in a hurry.
Later, I went grocery shopping with my dad! I bought some stuff I haven't had for a long time, like kolbassa and root beer. I don't drink much pop.
Apparently, B shares the same fascination and love for infomercials I have. B! You rock! If any of you are familiar with the Turbo Cooker, Turbo Stick, Chef Tony's Miracle Blades: Pefection Series, or anything by RonCo, you rock as well!
Right now, my clock says 11:25. Normally I would be hurrying to the TV in preperation for Inuyasha (which I figured out that "inu" means dog, like in Inuki, and "yasha" means Demon, thus "dog demon", which he is! Whoa!), but wait a minute, Cartoon Network cancelled it! Ha Ha HA! Oh well At least I have Kenshin. Oh wait, they're only showing one more episode of it. HAR HAR HAR!

09:41 p.m.
I got my report card today. Apparently, they've been sent out some time ago, but I've only heard about them yesterday-ish, so I was worried and wondering why I hadn't gotten mine yet.
So anyway, I looked at it, and it was actually much better than I thought it would be. I did fairly, mildly, horribly, really, explosively, "ehn". I mean, I'll always hope for better, but I'm pretty sure this is my limit. Except for science. That mark was so horrifying, it exploded in my face, leaving sharp shards of numbers embedded in my flesh. I can only wonder what I did wrong. Oh wait, could it be studying for all major tests and exams at last minute? Nah. *kicks self*
I watched around six hours of Fushigi Yuugi today and yesterday, and I must say, I have developed a hearty dislike for character deaths. Especially those involving my favourite characters. I also dislike animes where EVERYONE dies. That just makes me feel all enraged and bitter, but also foolish since I know that they're fictional characters, and can easily be revived in the magic of fanfiction, but still... *whine*
I haven't been doing much lately, but I did catch a segment of 'So 90s' on MuchMusic, and now I feel really old. Most of the music they played were disturbingly familar. I remember these groups as people I grew up listening too, and suddenly I'm old enough to reminisce about the 'good old 90s'? I've been using the expression 'kids these days' too. Crap. There goes my delusions of eternal youth.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'll knit a sweater while complaining about arthritis and yelling at the kids on my lawn. Those darn whipper snappers. Why, I remember back in the day...

11:27 p.m.
Since I'm a bit of a hermit, I'm a member of one those strange breeds of children. You know, they kind that actually gets paler over the summer holidays. So, it comes as a mild annoyance that recent events involve me being outside, and have thus far begun to ruin my perfectly good, pasty complexion.
Since I have a terrible memory, Thursday and Friday are blanks. Seriously, I can't even remember getting up those days. Maybe if I ask my sister or something, I can figure what happened those days, but until then, I think I might not have existed those days.
Saturday however, I did something so I remember that day. That day, I had to get up early to attend a barbeque thrown by the Toronto Chinese Aerospace Association, or somthing like that. And since my dad's a member, and all of his friends are too, we have been going to this barbeque for the last three years. This year, my sister and I were supposed to help, but we shirked duty.
So anyway, My sister, my cousin (who usually tags along on our adventures) and I wandered around in the park where the barbeque was held. I don't remember the name of the park, but It was actually several parks squished together, and it was verdant. And hilly. Very hilly.
So we decided to wander up a hill to see was was there. Unfortunately, said hill was massive, and the floor was covered in dead leaves, so we kept on slipping. My feet kept on bending at unnatural angles. And the bugs. There were so many bugs. Bleh. Then we reach the top, and the forest abruptly ends, and there is a massive soccer field, with some cricket players on the far side.
By then, we were really tired, so we followed the edge of the forest and found a set of stone stairs, and used that to get back down. We're really unhealthy.
As for the food itself, it was okay. I had a burger with assorted chicken parts, and a tea marinated egg. I could have had half a quail or a prok chop, but I decided against it.
After the food portion, my dad decided to leave a bit early, and he took us kids to the top of the hill, and we had a bit of a hike in the woods. We got a bit lost, but only a little since we could still hear cars and we were still on some sort of trail.
The highlight of the trip was that we saw a strange man in the parking lot. See, around the parking lot are several barbeque tables with those coal barbeques. We parked beside some guy who was apparently having a one man barbeque. He would sit there, next to his car, and blast old 40s music while burning branches that he would drag from the forest. And they weren't little branches either. Every so often, we would see him emerge from the forest dragging branches that were several feet long.
After we left the park, we went to a mall. I don't know which one, but I think it was Yorkdale. We were going to see a movie, but we didn't because everyone was all, "Ehhn". Instead, we went to Indigo and looked at books. There were a surprising amount of anime books, and there was a Lilo and stitch Production art book that had pictures of what Stitch's skeleton would have looked like. It was disturbing.
Anyway, we didn't buy anything so we went downstairs to Yogen Fruz and bought drinks since all of us were dying from dehydration. Then we went to Best Buy, and bought DVDs.
Yesterday, I went to Joan's house for a barbeque! My sister tagged along! We watched my brand new Cowboy Bebop movie, which I have grown to love. Then we watched my sisters Slayers TRY DVDs, and had dinner. Then more Slayers! Lots of fun to be had!
Speaking of anime, I would like to say now that shoujo (for girls) manga or anime characters are screwed up. I say this, having seen/read Mars (which Jeff lent us *giggle*), Angel Sanctuary, and just about everything from CLAMP. Maybe it's just the specific animes/mangas I saw, but they all have screwed up problems. Not that they aren't funny, but I still prefer some shonen (for guys) stuff more.
I've been thinking of abandonning my PACEr fanfic. It's too much effort to write. I already have everything planned out, but the 'characters' are too hard to write for. I curse you all for being three-dimensional characters! Blarg!
I need more sleep. Most Chinese people don't get eyelid crease things, but I do when I'm really really tired. I'm not sure why, but I have them now, and I have had them for some time. I don't know why though, I've been sleeping for 10+ hours. Maybe I'm dying? That'd be and interesting turn of events.
My nails are too long. It's hard to type. My hair is also too long. I need to cut it all off. 'Cut' meaning trim, and 'all' meaing very little. I dislike going to get my hari cut.

09:21 p.m.
For a hermit, I sure do get out a lot. For instance, take monday, where my aunt and cousins decided to come over at 11:30, but of course, me being me, I was still in bed. So after some hurrying I got dressed and we went out to some place in First Markham to eat congee and noodles, which were very good.
Afterwards, we walked around before I went to my cousin's house to play his videogames. I poked at his Harry Potter books while he struggled with Counter Strike which was acting funky at the time. I also played his Lord of the Rings game. It had a lot of movie clips, which I found odd. It was almost, too much... Anyways, I played a bit as Legolas, and died. Gimli was supposed to watch my back, that jerk. I spent two minutes stuck in indentation on a cliff face because he wouldn't get out of my way.
I also played some Guilty Gear X2. I never should have introduced him to that game, since he is much too skilled at it. But at least I can still occasionally kick his butt with Johnny, and oddly enough, Venom.
For dinner, we all went out for pizza at Pizza Hut. Anyone else think that names a bit odd? I mean, who wants to eat in a hut? It seems so... primitive. Then again, Pizza Shack isn't any better, and Pizza Dwelling is just silly...
Erm... yeah. This was the first time I had pizza at Pizza Hut in a long time, so I was happy.
Yesterday, we went to Vaughn to see my uncle and aunt (the ones from monday)who had apparently purchased a tiny warehouse there since my uncle is in the autoparts business. We had a very filling meal at Burger King afterwards, and I felt like an idiot because my younger cousin and I were poking around in the kid play area, which had a measurement line of four feet. My cousin and I were about the same height at five feet something, aged 14 and 15 respectively. I felt silly.
I also noticed something interesting. Everytime we go out to eat with them, my sister and I learn something new from my older cousin. For instance, we discussed the origins of Mad Cow disease and its human counterpart at Pizza Hut (which disturbed my younger cousing since he was eating beef at that moment)and foie gras and the carmelization process. Yesterday, she taught us about how to much salt can make you retain water because it makes your cells swell, or something like that. She's smart like that.
My cousin came over agian today, and we played videogames. Then after he left, my sister and I watched over four hours worth of Fushigi Yuugi which Jeff lent us (giggles at sister), and we'll probably watch more later.
I've been playing some Parasite Eve lately. It was the very first game I got and it scared the crap out of me. That's what you get for giving me a game like that to a ten year old... Anyway, now that I'm less easily scared, it's a very kick ass game. I highly recommend! Yeah it's and old game, so the graphics are kinda of chunky, and yeah all the science-y talk sometimes gets complicated, but still... If you like spontaneous human combustion, bloody mutations, and humans melting, this game is for you! It's really... unique.
I've been reading my new comic books (which are actually GUY comic books, seeing as how it's called SHONEN Jump...) and I have been inspired. I want to draw mangas. Too bad I have no talent and not patience. Feh.

09:14 p.m.
You'd think that the reason I haven't updated lately would be because I was so busy with my life. THat's what you WOULD think, if you didn't know that I was a hermit and have no life. No good friends, the reason I haven't updated lately is because I was lazy and kept on forgetting to, which is odd because I was on the computer a lot these last few days. Huh.
Last wednesday was my French exam, and I would like to brag and say that it was really easy, but it would be just my luck to get my report card and find out that I failed. HAR HAR HAR. After the exam, I went out to wait for the bus with Aky, who said she was waitng for her mom to pick her up. After a few minutes of boiling in the heat (I wish it were winter, only with the vacation!) Joan joined us! Afer a few minutes of discussion, Aky was convinced to go to Joan's house, and took the bus with us! And that day was the very first day I took the public bus and got off all by myself! *is ridiculously proud* Oh yes, I was the only person on the bus that morning, which I found disturbing and lonely. *single tear rolls down face*
When I got home, my uncle and cousin came over and took my family our for dim sum. Like, whoa! So we went to a restaurant and we had interesting conversations. FOr the rest of the day, I puzzled over my sister's graduation guest dilemma.
My sister gotted gradumated last thursday, hyuk! After a somewhat humourous discussion, it was decided (although somewhat last minute) that I would attend with my dad. The ceremony itself was dull and very poorly organized. VERY poorly organized. They filed in really slowly and it was realized that there wasn't enough chairs on one side, and some people went in the wrong direction. Then when they were passing out the diplomas, they were out of order. Horribly out of order. I'm faily sure S doesn't come before N. The Valedictorian speeches were very entertaining though. "Sweet like buttah!"
Odd thing though. One of my sister's friends was missing. According to my sister, she recieved tickets for the evening, and her picture was in the graduation picture thing, but she wasn't there, nor was her name in the program. Odd...
My dad says that I have to help out at the company barbeque next week with my sister. I'm going to hand out food! Unfortunately, this is for the Chinese Union, so there will be all these weird foods too, like barbeque pork and tea. Note how my Chinese background finds its way into every aspect of my life?
I have rekindled my love for all things .hack related. I watched part of the series again yesterday, and finished one of the games. Actually, I have refueled my love for anything anime. If anyone wants to get me every volume of Inuyasha to this date, I would be eternally grateful! All 30+ volumes! If they're in english, even better! Or you could get me the TV series! There's only 90+ episodes. I'll be your friend! *wipes nose on sleeve nosily*
I vow to complete some videogames over the summer holiday, one of them being a Final Fantasy game. I VOW it, or let my insides be devoured by a pack of ravenous wolves.
Speaking of which, I've been playing a Dynasty Warriors 4 demo, and it's lots of fun. I wish I could control the camera though.
You know what's weird? Mummified babies. Mummified babies that were kept secret for eighteen years WIth teh pregnacy hidden too) , and kept in a storage locker all that time. Yep. That's pretty damn weird.
My back has been all weird lately. Sometimes it would hurt for no apparent reason, and it would pop. Normally I wouldn't worry about it too much, since it's the flesh that hurts and I can't really do anything about it, but since it's distinctly the bones this time, I'm a bit worried. I've been trying to pop whatever's wrong back into place, but it isn't working. It's crackling a lot to. I think it's from playing videogames too long in one position. My neck's been weird too.
I've been thinking of writing a story lately. A fantasy-ish story thing. But then again, I should get my lazy arse working on my PACE fanfiction, shouldn't I? Meh. I don't know enough about Adeline. Grah... I'll get to it once I can preform a mind meld with people I don't know well enough.

08:52 p.m.
So I was reading the newspaper today when I stumbled across the Horoscope, and thought, 'Ooo! Wonder what mine says.' So I casually searched the page for Sagittarius and the very first sentence said, "Minor digestive ailments or musclular pains are accented over the next few days." Now I ask you, when did horoscopes get so specific? Horoscopes are usually more vague, aren't they? Or at least not about my health. Bleh.
Another odd thing I've been noticing is the odd Asian influences in stuff that isn't very Asian. Of course, I'm refering to that crazy arse Sugar Crisps commercial. I mean, and I say this with the utmost sincerity, what the hell? Why is that bear thing in, what i assume to be, China? And what is up with that weird magic monkey thing, and Asian-y witch? I'm guessing they're just trying to cash in on the sudden Anime popularity thing.
Mys sister and dad just put my hair up. Eew. I was just minding my own business, when they grabbed my hair, and put it in a clip. They're so weird. And my sister didn't do a very good job of it. I need to cut my hair, so they can never do it again. It's been getting too long anyways. Whatever happened to the days when I had really short hair? Alas.
Saturday I went to Black Creek Pioneer Village with my dad, sister, and cousin. It was for some silly company thing. My cousin, sister, and I spent hours walking around aimlessly. We kept on following random paths we saw and two of them turned out to be exit routes for cars. One of them led under a bridge, and it was really dark underneath. My sister didn't want to go underneath. Wimp! Just because it could have housed crazy hobos or axe murderers...
The Black Creek itself was really pitiful. I bet no one would know it existed if it wasn't for the map. It wasn't even a metre across. We also got some samples of cookies and cake. They were really good, but I suspect that they really used a mix. Hmmm...
During our journeys, we also went to the church, which had a cemetary in the back. We went into the chruch first, and as we were leaving, some kids ran in and started yelling and pretending that the pews were trenches, and they 'shot' at each other. My cousin, sister and I walked around the church and into the cemetary. we walked over a broken fence to get in. I get the sneaking suspicion that we weren't supposed to be in there. Whoops.
We also saw a gopher, and followed it around. We were a bit worried that it would attack us since we were standing really close.
I spent the last few days playing videogames. I got my arse handed to me in .hack//INFECTION several times. I am annoyed. I also realized something in that game, and I currently feel like an idiot. Well, more than I usually do anyway.
My house is really warm right now. In the room I'm in anyways. But it's the room with the computers so it matters the most anyway. Air conditioning doesn't seem to be working to well. I am melting into a puddle of goo.
My sister is graduating on Thursday. She only gets to bring two guests, and that is causing a bit of a dilemma about who gets to go. I frown with confusion. *frowns*
I want to change the layout of my Blog, but I don't knwo how. My current idea for a new layout involves a really bad pun though, so I am hesitant.
My brain is fried because it is warm in here, and I have been sick for the past four days. While typing the previous sentence, I made several errors that I had to correct, lest I crucify myself. MOE will stop now. *melt*

03:44 p.m.
I've been meaning to blog lately, but I didn't for vairous reasons, so nyah.
Wednesday was the last day of school, so most of my classes were empty. French was... well, french. Nothing particulary interesting happened except that we had a partyish thing, and I couldn't present my French project, so I had to do it during lunch.
English was more interesting. I arrived to our class, and no one was there. Well, there were some people there, but not many. PACErs? Skipping?! GASP! Oh well. Joan, Sensei-san, Aky, KT, and I sat down with copies of Hamlet, and started reading it. We are such geeks. Laura and Danielle laughed at us *sob*. I played the roles of Franciso and Laertes among others!
In Art, we had a silly exam. I don't think I did too well, but I don't think I failed either. Meh. ANyway, B finished early, so she went to the library. I finished some time afterwards, so I went to look for B. Instead, I found KT, who was reading in the library because her class was locked with no one in it. I kind of stared at her since, of all things, she decided to go to the library and READ. Weirdo. We wandered in the library looking at all the books, and then we found B, who was in the opposite corner of the library, and, apparently, asleep. We left afterwards to get to Science.
Scinece was just like English, only a bit more rowdy. And with food. Aky wrote a lovely poem, that I shall write here, so that all may enjoy.
Here is the cat
It's body erased.
Nothing is left
But it's ugly dumb face.
I'm not sure if I wrote it properly, but it's close enough.
The next day, I had the silly English exam. It was... bleh. I cleaned out my locker, and took the public bus with KT to go home. We pressed to button to early, and we were worried that we would have to walk and extra block, but luckily for us, AY (or at least I think it was AY) was on the bus with his posse (and I use posse because it sounds a lot better than cohorts or chums, and gang or troupe would be silly)and they got off the bus, and we stayed on, and no one was the wiser.
We got off the bus at Rodick, and I was walking with KT to her house when I noticed a shortcut thing. You know, the path they build between houses? I stared into it, and after much discussion, we decided to see were it would lead us.
So there we were, wandering on some street, chatting aimlessly when we got to the end, and lo and behold, we were on my street. I giggled and apoligized to KT for making her have to walk farther than necessary, but she said she didn't mind... or did she?
So since we were already wandering the neighbourhood, we decided to go into streets we've never been in before. We went to this court, and it was the biggest damn court I've ever been in. Really. We stood there for five minutes marvelling at the size, and then we spent a few more wondering which house was the one behind mine.
We went to my house, and I dropped my stuff off to wander some more with KT. We went to the park/sewage place in front of the public school and behind my street. There wasn't anything there really, but we looked at all the backyards that were against the park thing. Then we crossed the dinky bridge over the dinky stream. KT said it gets bigger when it rained. Meh.
So after a bit more wandering, we walked back to my house and KT to hers. I went out for lunch at a (surprise surprise!) Chinese restaurant with my uncle, cousing, and grandmother. My aunt in Brazil was having her birthday, so my grandma gets to celebrate. Speaking of which, my family has an insane amount of birthdays this week. Wednesday was my cousin in the navy, yesterday was my aunt, today is my uncle's, next wekk is another uncle, and I forget the rest. Blah. To many to keep track of anyways.
So yeah. Today was the stoopid science test. It wasn't hard, just long. Really, really long. Grahhhhh.
I took the public bus with Aky and I didn't get the chance to pushe the button this time, thus eliminating any chance of personal error. Hurrah! I walked home and played videogames all day. And that's it.
Ive been watching a lot of interesting movies. One is 'Rabbit-proof Fence'. I don't know why I find it so interesting, but I do. It seems like a movie religion teachers would show for 'Racism Bad!' lessons. Meh. I think its raelly good.
Another movie I've been watching is 'Treasure Planet', and it isn't half bad. I mean, any kids movie that uses words like 'pestinential', abberation', 'snarky' and 'ineptitude' rocks. This movie would do wonders for vocabularies. The story ain't too bad either.
I've also been watching 'Spirited Away'. The dub anyways, and it's really good for a dub.
I know nothing of this webcomic, but the main group of characters are referred to as P.A.C.E.R.S, and it makes me giggle.
I am sick. I rarley get sick, but I did on wednesday! When I told my dad on wednesday, he said it was because I didn't get enough sleep (don't all parents say that?), so I went to bed at 7:00. Whoops. I actually took a pill for it. And I swallowed the pill whole for once, instead of having to smash the stupid pill into dust before being able to consume any of it. I'm a big girl now!
My grandma has been making some funky Chinese soup thing that she's been making us (my sister and I) drink/eat. It tastes okay, but then you get these figs in your bowl, and she makes you eat them. Then, after eating them, everything else tastes like the figs, which I thought tasted like used socks. It was almost painful.
I have a headache and my shoulder has been hurting lately. I'm getting too old for this.

11:12 p.m.
Lots of stuff happened. Yay.
Let see. In no particular order, I'll write about stuff that happened over the past week. I've been horribly stressed these last few weeks, especially with art. I had last weekend to finish it, but being the procrastinator that I am, I spent Friday goofing off, and started to work on Saturday. I said with conviction on Friday that I would be able to work since I didn't have a life. Especially because of tat hermit thing. BOY WAS I WRONG. HA HA HA HA.
So anyway, on sunday, I woke up at 7:00ish to make my dad breakfast because of Father's day and whatnot. We woke up early because my dad said that he had a soccer game at 9:00, so we wanted to make sure he got it. After much stress, we found out he didn't want to go because he messed up his shoulder last time he played. And you may be wondering why he needs to use his arms in a soccer game. He's the goalie.
So anyways, we pulled out some bacon, eggs, toast, and cinnamon rolls from the fridge. My goodness, I never realized that bacon took so long to cook. And it's insanely unhealthy. Oh well. He ate. We ate. I went to work.
I knew we were going out to lunch that day with some family. I was okay with that. We ate Shanghai food. It was good. Then someone decides to go to Hamilton. I was not okay with that. Grah...
We drove hours to look for some silly waterfall, and we got lost. Then when we found the stupid park, and the parking lot was full. So we left. The highlight of the day was that we went to Dairy Queen. In total, that little trip took five to six hours. I WAS OVERFLOWING WITH JOY. It was the first time I sepcifically told the adults that I had homework to do, and they ignored me. And all the other times I wanted to play videogames with my cousin, they wouldn't let me because of homework. How ironic.
Anyway, I worked until 4:30 am the next day. Tee hee!@#
So yeah. I feel really bloated now because I just ate my weight in All Dressed potato chips. Yum. I also had a butter tart that Laura gave me. It was the best damned butter tart I've ever had. I tipped the box though, and the filling got all over my fingers. I licked the styrofoam box it came in. It was so sugary. It rivals the time I at strawberry jam by itself, or the time I ate honey mixed with sugar. It was that good.
I have determined that I will not go to Prom when it eventually rolls around. If asked, and I highly doubt it, I have come up with a way to deter any potential dates. Behold:
Some guy: Would you like to go to the Prom with me?
Me: To the Prom I shall go with thee, IF you can answer my riddles three!
Some guy: *stare*
Me: Riddle the first!...
Some guy: *runs away*
If he sticks around after that, I'd run away. Laughing maniacally. Something is wrong with with a person who would stay after that. Either one works really.
The Dante's Inferno Test has banished you to the Seventh Level of Hell!
Here is how you matched up against all the levels:
Take the Dante's Inferno Test
Violent? Moi? And how can I be a non believer, but also go to purgatory?
Speaking of violence, I was supposed to have a fight with Danielle today! But I didn't. She was already injured by the time science rolled around. I COULD say that I was the one that dealt that mighty blow, but then it wouldn't be honourable! *rides off into the sunset with gleaming armour*
Jackie Chan is cool. I mean, how many other actors do their own stunts, does their own laundry at hotels, and has their own cartoon? A damn good cartoon too.
Even though tomorrow is the last day of school, I don't wanna go. *shrivel*

09:40 p.m.
Whoo. Stuff happened. Lots of stuff. Yay.
Friday! Jessica said that I should use masscara, or whatever product you put on your eyes. I looked at her funny and said she was weird. Then we went to Joan's house afterschool! We being Aky, B, KT, and, obviously, Joan! After getting off her bus stop, we had to walk ten minutes to get to her house, but we took a detour through the forest, so it took twenty. I was all whiny because I was still wearing my school shoes.
In the forest, we saw a lot of interesting stuff. Like trees. Most of them were really tall with few branches, and they were pretty. The saplings were skinny and cool. There was a tree that had some sort of knot, or it was rotting, so it looked like it had a disturbing face burned into it. It was leering at us as we passed it to reach the exit of the forest which was convieniently next to a cemetary. I giggled insanely.
There were a lot of caterpillars and stuff on the roads. I was kind of surprised because there aren't any caterpilliars in my neighbourhood. Lots of them were squished, and had their bright yellow entrails spread out.
At Joan's house, we watched the Animatrix. They were okay, but the soundtrack was cooler. We then went outside to work, and accomplished very little. Yay us! At this time, I realized that I should have checked my cell phone that I left inside, and I had five missed calls! Whoops! Then we had pizza and I was very happy.
After dinner, we settled to do some work. 'Us' meaning B and Joan, and the 'work' was their pop art. The rest of us were just lingering around the room. Then, Joan decided that we needed to get something done, so we went to Joan's room to type it out. We listened to The Clash which made the retrokid in Joan happy. Joan also shared her childhood journals with us, and we giggled. I went home at 9:30, took a shower, and watched TV with my dad until 1:40, and then I went to sleep.
On saturday, we went ot for our weekly dim sum with my aunt, uncle, and cousin. We ate, and my sister and I talked to our cousin, and we giggled for some reason I don't really remember. Afterwards, my family went to some shooe store, and I died a little inside. My sister need fancy shoes, and it took her about half an hour to get them. I was bored and wandered about. I stole a pair of disposible socks, and played with them. It made my day THAT much better.
Today, I played some videogames, and then we went out for dim sum, again. Ths time, we went with a different aunt, uncle, and cousin. My younger cousin wasn't there because he had to go to some air cadet thing. I wasn't aware of him being an air cadet. Huh.
The convesation eventually shifted to the topic of air cadets, and then how I should be in the air cadets. I was all, "Eek! Oh dear heavens NO!@#". But they proceeded to tell me how I would get free stuff, like a uniform (yay?), and free trips to all these different places. At this point, I was still horrified at the concept of me doing anything that required commitment, but then my cousing casually mentioned something about air rifles, and how I would get to shoot stuff.
That got my interest, and she told me that basically, all they did was march and stuff. It sounded easy... and they are probably going to persuade me into some air cadet thing next week. >_< I'm not sure I'm cut for this sort of thing.
Anyway, we went to the mall afterwards. My sister and my cousin were going to go off to do their girly shopping thing, and I was going to stick with my dad. Then they said something about bikinis, and I screamed and hid behinf my dad. Everyone laughed at me. *sniff* THey went to do their thing and my grantdmother and aunt went to do their thing. I followed my dad around, and we stopped at EB to look at the pretty games. We went grocery shopping afterwards and then we went home. Yay!
I had something to say here, but I forget what. Blarg. I'm tired too. Snerk.

Guess what kids? It's time for another...
Moe's Yard Trilogy - Part Two: The Backyard
If you've ever been to my house (which none of you have! Ha!) you'd know that I live on a hill, with my house facing away from the hill. As a result, our backyard WOULD have slanted upwards. But it doesn't. Instead, we have a relatively flat back yard, and then a short wall. Then a little platform, and then a wall again, followed by the backyard of another house, seperated by the only wire fence I am aware of on the block.
On the platform between the two walls, grows two trees. When we first moved here seven years ago, the trees were all small and dinky. Also, the platform was covered in weeds, grass, and small bushes. Over time, we managed to get rid of the bush, the grass, and the weeds, but we never got aroung to getting rid of the two trees. Now, many years later, they have grown into very tall trees, and I assume, with very big roots. Now, We probably can get rid of them, EVER. I suppose we can just saw them, but then we'd have stumps forever.
Also, in our backyard, We have a small patch of land my grandmother insists on using for growing things. So far, we have grown cucumbers and the like. Eventually, the watchful eye on this little garden turned to other pressing matters, and was left to fend for itself. One day, my grandmother went out to check on her green onions, and to her shock, they had grown almost a metre in length, and as thick as a big toe. Of course, she reasoned that even though it was old, we couldn't possibly waste perfectly good green onions, so now we have been eating monstrous sized green onions in our Chinese meals (ie ALL the time).
We also have assorted wildlife in our backyard. Cats have stopped by once in a while, and at one point, rabbits took shelter in a hole in our wall. They come and go, but one incident of interest occured while my dad was mowing the lawn. He said that he was mowing away when he hit a bump. Apparently he ran over a little bunny. I was surprised and horrified.
Bug infestations are also really big here. If it's now swarms of bees, it's swarms of ants. Tately, there hasn't been any infestations of note, but back in the day, sections the size of bathroom mirrors would be covered in swarming ants, of dense clouds of bees would be flying around what we assumed to be the entrance. So what did we do? Pesticides hardly seemed fit for the job, so my grandmother resorted to a good old fashioned remedy. we would heat great amounts of water, and then splash it on the wall, BOILING THOSE INSECT FREAKS ALIVE!@# HA HA HA HA HA!@# DIE FOOLS!@# MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!@#

...Oh. And you know how I said that stuff probably would happen to me on sunday? Well, guess what? Stuff DID happen! Hardy Har Haaarr. Basically, we went to the mall, then to the cemetary, went out for Chinese food (!), and then had cake. Woo.
And one final thing. My sister has many boys chasing after her, that heartbreaker. I'd splurge on details, but she'd probably beat me with a spiked club.

12:07 p.m.
Apparently, my brand spanking new, shiny silver Motorola T720 is a fob phone. Joan said it was anyway. Of course, I don't know what the difference is between a fob phone and a... not fob phone. Does owning this phone make me a fob? Well, if having a fob phone, being an anime fangirl, occasionally using a translucent green tea bottle as a water bottle, and occasionally enjoy the overwhelmingly happy J pop song makes me a fob, well then fob me up! La!
I have grown to love my phone. Love it to DEATH. It's just so much fun to play with. I spent hours playing the crappy motorcycle game on my phone. Do the graphics suck? Yes. Do the controls suck? Of course! Is it strangely addictive? Hell yeah! The online games also suck, but I find myself oddly enraptured by the Harry Potter wannabe game.
And there are so many ringtunes! They gots everything! B, they got Take on Me by Aha! Joan, they gots R.E.M. tunes too! Like, whoa! Of course, I have to pay for those, so I probably won't ever download them. :(
Went to KT's house on friday. Joan and Aky were already there. They were watching the Matrix. They were supposed to watch the Matrix Reloaded at six, but they weren't done watching the Matrix so they stayed later and watched Finding Nemo instead. I didn't go. Before they left, we started baking muffins. We made a mess. KT, you have a lot of baking stuff.
Today is my daddy's birthday! My sister an I made him breakfast, which consisted of toast, eggs, soy milk (we ran out of normal milk.)and cinnamon buns! My grandma made congee too, but I don't think congee would go too well with the other foodstuffs.
At first we were unsure of whether or not we should make the cinnamon buns, because the only pan we could use was rusty. And really dusty. And gross. We couldn't wash it clean, but we ended up lining it with tinfoil instead. THose cinnamon buns were damn good. All ooey and gooey. Ane lots of frosting. Of course, this was all from a can. Pillsbury Grands rock! ...You know what would be weird? Pillsbury Glands... Meh, whatever.
Unfortunately, daddy was running late, and he couldn't finish because he had a soccer game to go to. I ate some of the leftovers since I didn't have breakfast yet, and here we are! That would be the more interesting part of my weekend. Unless we go out for dinner tonight. Or maybe someone comes over. Or maybe ninjas attack. Or maybe I get super powers. Or maybe...

10:05 p.m.
I am now the surprised owner of a cell phone. Daddy gots it for me.
...!
I'm confuzzled. Right now I don't know what I should do with it. I don't really talk to people on the phone, and I don't really go anywhere. All I've done so far is play games on it. Games I suck at. Darn you, motorcycle racing! Darn you and your crazy controls!
So yeah. *blink* I want to do stuff with it, but I don't know what I should do. I'm afraid of it too. What if I press the wrong buttons, and end up lanuching missles at something? I'm not very adept at new technology... *worries*
I meant to update yesterday, but I forgot. Erm, yeah. So anyway, after I got home from school, who should be there but one of my cousins and my aunt! I was surprised becasue he should have been at school, but it turns out that he hadn't gone to school for the last two weeks because of the strikes. Lucky.
Then we played some GGX2, and he was very good. I never should have introduced him to the game. Now he's better than me. Blarg! But I'm still better than him at using Johnny! So THERE!
If you stare at a wall too long, it will start to fade in colour, and then look more and more like skin. Then you will get dizzy. This is fun, although if you comment on it outloud, people will think you're hallucinating, or your eyes are broken.
Staring at people who don't know they're being watched is also fun, but very odd and stalkerish. I am weird. I should probably stop looking at people in the library when we're in Rm. 201. Meh. Looking at your reflection from really far away is also entertaining, but odd as well. I think I'm going crazy.
Actually, my sister told me that her teacher said that if a teenager really thinks they're going crazy, they probably are. Hmmm...

11:49 p.m.
Interesting day it was. Lots of stuff different than my usual routine. Went to B's house with KT, Aky, and Joan to work on English seminar.
The fun began on B's bus. That has got to be the happiest bus I've ever sat in. Or maybe just hyper. Or maybe it was just our half of the bus. Meh, whatever. Sa Sa, it's a party whenever you're around.
So anyway, we got to B's house, and ate stuff. Stuff being corn and coffee cake. I am proud to say that I eat corn kernel by kernel, and I can pick half a cob in five minutes! Neatly! Whoa! I also made a mess by dropping corn bits all over the table like the infant I am, and enraged (I may be exaggerating a BIT) B by putting all the dishes away. Hah! I'm much more polite and neat at other people's houses. Manners! To the extreme!
After eating, we decided that we had to get cracking, so we debated over where to work. Eventually we decided on working outside, but Joan didn't wasnt to leave the couch, and I was dawdling. Eventually, I got out, but Aky had to go in to coax Joan out.
Meanwhile, I got distracted, so I took KT and went into B's backyard. KT climbed the fence and peeked into the construction area. I was a wuss and was afraid that I would break the fence if I climbed it, so I didn't. I'm fat like that.
My then, Aky got Joan out into the backyard, and we were wondering if we could climb B's family's planting thing. I believe it is called a trellis, or something. Meh. We didn't in fear of breaking stuff. We went back to the front of the house, but didn't get anything done because we were distracted some more. I was spinning around in place and staring at cars that passed. We went back into B's basement to avoid further distraction.
So yeah. After several minutes of goofing off, we got to work. We tried to excercise a bit for no reason. I did puch ups, since that's all I can do. Joan did sit ups. Later, Joan and Aky lied on couches, and looked like they were sleeping. We finished at around sixish. . I'm not sure if we're 100% ready, but oh well. My dad picked me up, and I didn't get pizza. *sniff* KT didn't get any either because we gave her a ride home.
After sending KT home, we went out for dinner. At a Chinese restaurant. What a surprise. We ate and was very full. We went home.
I took a shower. I watched TV. The Final Flight of the Osiris was short. I know they're called "shorts", but grar... It was meh. Harvey Birdman is an odd show.
I am tired. I need to work on English. I weep.

12:29 a.m.
Went to Curry's for the first time today. There is so much cool crap in there. I was in awe. My lack of exclamation marks probably doesn't convey my enthusiasm, but I was happy. Very happy.
There was all sorts of cool crap that I couldn't identify if my sister didn't explain it to me. But the best part was the books. There were books on everything. I particularly liked the anatomy ones. I got one titled, "Human Anatomy made Amazingly Easy". Not just easy, but amazingly so. My sister got a book too. Curry's is one of the coolest stores I've ever been in.
Then we went to the mall to get lots of candy in bulk at (surprise surprise) Bulk Barn. It's a TAD inconvienient to drive all the way to the mall, just to buy in bulk. We need more stores here. We got lots of candy, and my dad got some cashews. I think. It might have been peanuts. Meh.
By taking naps over the last week, I have screwed up my sleeping habits, and now I'm constantly tired. And dazed. But me being dazed isn't new. Grar.
