You'd think that after visiting my first and only nephew, I would have been bouncing for joy in telling you all the details, showing you all the pictures, wouldn't you? I mean, what is with me? Of course, I am the proud aunty! Glen's little sister, Karlene gave birth to little Aari back in September and we finally got the time to coordinate our busy schedule and see him beginning of November - not bad. He's such a delight! So cute and soft and smooth. It's just so sweet to see him.

Ok, for those of you who are htinking, oh yeh she's clucky - think again. He was lovely and sweet and beautiful and perfect in every way, but I dont have an overwhelming desire to have one of my own and I guess that's how i know that I'm not ready for a baby of my own, if ever.

Little Aari is quite a character for one month old. He sleeps and farts like a little boy, he likes water and loves cuddles and raspberries. He enjoys sucking on the odd red lolly frog and has a huge fan-base alreayd. We took a few days off work to go see him and I tell you, I think he's going to be the most popular little addition to the family - just a pity that his dad's family wasn't more enthusiastic. Half of them live closer than we do and yet, most of them haven't even laid eyes on him - what gives? He's perfect!

Anyways, in other news, my mum is travelling down to spend Christmas with us this year. It will be nice, hopefully. I'm a little hesitant for some reason, but I am sure it will be fine. Mum has been going through a lot recently, so the little break for her will be nice and I'm sure she'll love M*elb*ou*rne. I've just booked her ticket! Hurrah.

Finally a big hello to my friend, who's just discovered she has some nasty gallstones to deal with!! Hopefully they'll be all sorted out soon and she can go back to normal!
