I think the below pretty much sums up my disgust!
"To whom it may concern:
Unfortunately, I do not know who to direct this complaint to, so therefore I am relying on whoever receives this to direct it to the correct area. I apologise though for sending this through.
I've had unfortunate dealings with G*uests M*oorabbin and because of ongoing dissatisfaction, I've been left with no choice but to complain.
I ordered a lounge suite over 10 weeks ago. I was told it would arrive within 8-10 weeks. At the end of the 8th week, I phoned the store to enquire if they knew anything further. I was told by H*ilton that the lounge would arrive the week after Easter. We waited. Nothing. I phoned at the 10 week mark to be informed by someone else in the store that the lounge suite had arrived MINUS a recliner (I beg to question the business sense in that decision!). I was told it would arrive on Friday, 23rd April. It did not and still has not arrived. I phoned the store again and was told there was a note on the computer to say that the lounge suite would be available on the 28th or 29th April. At this stage, I have absolutely no faith in your M*oorabbin store and have been fortunate enough to have been given the Warehouse's phone number. I spoke to someone who questioned as to how M*oorabbin came about those dates previously quoted to me, as there was nothing on my invoice on the computer to state as such. She told me they were lying to me! So now, I am waiting for my lounge. Ten weeks has passed and my family is without a lounge suite, sitting on the floor until our new one arrives.
Let me assure you, I shall not be recommending nor buying from G*uests again. I'm disgusted at the lack of after sales service and blatant disregard and lack of respect your staff holds for its clients. I am also not interested in supplying my complaint directly to the store, as stated on your website - I do not believe the complaint will go any further than the store's garbage bin!
When I bought this lounge suite, I did not wish to be told lies and would have been very satisfied with the truth. I suggest your staff be educated on such matters. Customers who experience bad service from retailers, such as yourself rarely make a complaint, and as many as 90% do not return to the store. How much business are you missing out because of this?
Enuff sed.

Oh, it's a rich man's/woman's world. And I am not a rich man or woman! Oh man, Glen and I had a bit of a spending spree over the weekend and it hasn't finished!
We bought a clothes dryer, because I couldn't stop bitching about having to dry our clothes on the clothes rack in the house during winter. I detest having to do it, he never does it, so I am left to hang up all the clothes in ever possible location - clothes horse, chair, free standing mirror, stair ballastrade - anywhere I Can find a place! So, I made him buy one and I'm sooooo in love with my clothes dryer. It's beautiful!!!
So, not to be outdone, upon purchasing the clothes dryer, Glen decided that after visiting MArgie and Dennis - thanks guys, it was time to purchase a set top box for our TV! Fabbo! More money spent!
This is all despite the fact that in a few days (freakin' well hope!), we'll be taking delivery and purchasing our lounge room suite, which was not cheap! Argh! Plus, we have our rent due first week of May. It never ends! I think Glen's going to have to work some overtime to make this happen! It's ALL HIS FAULT!!
Ho hum. I love luxury items. I aint going to live without them either!

Ok, so this topic came up this morning on a local radio program which I listen to frequently and it got me thinking. The problem was brought up that in our society, men and women are expected to share more responsibility of things around the house - typically this is a belief held by more women than men (?) Perhaps. As in, doing the dishes and cooking dinner is no longer considered to be a woman's responsibility and men are expected to help do such things. However, the male radio announcer said that when it came to putting out the bin, screwing in light bulbs or any hard work, women shirked this responsibility and deemed it a "man's job". Ok, so I'm a bit of a women's liber, in some ways. I firmly believe that Glen can do the washing as well as I can, and he can certainly cook a mean meal! Yum!
the things I am getting at are this, sometimes us women need men to do the harder things, like screw in light bulbs, use their strength to move furniture or something similar, simply because women can be a little less stronger (notice how I didn't say weaker?). The other thing I am getting at is this, us women still organise our men's lives, we still buy the birthday and christmas presents for their friends and family and we still make sure they take care of themselves.
I think that it all balances out quite nicely, don't you?

After a pretty crap day yesterday, just feeling blah and headachy, I arrived home all whingy and whiny! Poor Glen, as usual listened patiently and sweetly and then I trapsed upstairs to get changed out of my work clothes. I came back downstairs and flopped on the lounge. Glen fussed and carried on for ages and I couldn't figure out why! Suddenly, he leaps upstairs and comes back down, my back was turned to him. So, I turned around and there he had, a dozen red roses for me! Little old me! For no particular reason! I was gobsmacked! Not because it's out of character for him, but obviously becuase there was no particular reason for them! He jsut decided to give me roses.
Am I not the luckiest girl in the world, or what?!
In other news, my little scoot is in for its 500km service. Yay! Shall pick it up this afternoon.
Have been seeing the chiropractor steadily for the last five weeks or more and it's time for another scan to see how my spine is going. Though, from my doctor's comments, I'm doing fantastically well! Can't wait to see the results!

Yes, yes I am alive. I'm sorry I haven't been around, the site looks pretty sad when it has no entries. I've just been busy, battling work stuff and some personal stuff. It's all fine, nothing drastic. I just haven't felt like updatnig in a while. If I do have anything to say, rest assured, you'll read it here. Bear with me!
