Yet another cool quiz... What kind of D&D character are YOU?... ^_^
I Am A: Chaotic Good Elf Ranger Bard
Alignment: Chaotic Good characters are independent types with a strong belief in the value of goodness. They have little use for governments and other forces of order, and will generally do their own things, without heed to such groups.
Race: Elves are the eldest of all races, although they are generally a bit smaller than humans. They are generally well-cultured, artistic, easy-going, and because of their long lives, unconcerned with day-to-day activities that other races frequently concern themselves with. Elves are, effectively, immortal, although they can be killed. After a thousand years or so, they simply pass on to the next plane of existance.
Primary Class: Rangers are the defenders of nature and the elements. They are in tune with the Earth, and work to keep it safe and healthy.
Secondary Class: Bards are the entertainers. They sing, dance, and play instruments to make other people happy, and, frequently, make money. They also tend to dabble in magic a bit.
Deity: Solonor Thelandria is the Chaotic Good elven god of archery and the hunt. He is also known as the Keen Eye, the Great Archer, and the Forest Hunter. His followers respect nature, and only hunt when needed, but are quick to defend the forest from intruders. Their favorite weapon is the bow, and they tend to be extremely talented with it. Solonor Thelandria's symbol is an arrow with green fletchings.

"I drank too much last night, got bills to pay, my head just feels in pain... I missed the bus and there'll be hell today, I'm late for work again... And even if I'm there, they'll all imply that I might not last the day... And then you call me and it's not so bad, it's not so bad..."
~Dido, "Thank You"
Why does everyone at work seem to think I'm on the verge of quitting my job? Yes, I'm frustrated with my supervisor, but that doesn't change the fact that I love the rest of what I do. *SIGH* -_- I love my docents (usually) and I love working on summer camp, and I get along great with the rest of the staff. I think I can handle one personality conflict in a sea of good things. Ne?
P.S. - As for the Dido quote... I certainly did *not* drink too much last night - anyone who knows me well enough to be reading this knows that I don't do that sort of thing. ^_- And thanks, Dan... for making it "not so bad". ^_-

Listening to a new CD that I bought completely on a whim, mostly because it just sort of jumped off the shelf and screamed, "BUY ME!" ... So I did. It's a group called Starsailor, and it's their debut album, titled "Love is Here". It's certainly not the best CD I've ever bought, but it is probably the best CD I've ever bought without having any idea what the contents would be like at all. I broke one of my cardinal rules (no buying CDs when I don't know and enjoy at least three of the songs, or know and love the artist and own most of their other stuff) and bought something that I knew nothing about, except that they have a darn cool name. And their music isn't half bad either. ^_-Visit http://www.starsailor.net if you're curious. Do you think they had to buy the URL from some Sailormoon fan?
Also on the music front, Dar returns to Ann Arbor on April 1st - hooray! And I look forward to acquiring the new Alanis album, as I've heard lots of good stuff about it. Hooray Dar! Hooray Alanis!
Had a good pottery class and a nice dinner with Sangita tonight. It was a good end to a somewhat crabby day. I don't like being crabby. -_- It just happens sometimes.

*sleepiness* Another pleasant Daniel evening, on the heels of another ever-more-jaded day at work. ^_- At least I have a new motto for how to deal with Big K... Lack of planning on *her* part does not constitute an emergency on *my* part. It actually helped me get through the day really well. Hooray for coping methods! ^_^
Hooray for Dan, hooray for friends, and hooray for realizing that now is pretty darn good, despite the things about it that get me down. Also, hooray for sleep. Night night, readers, whoever you are.

Once upon a time a silly girl named Sarah stayed up too late at night, visiting lots of magical lands through the power of an amazing machine sitting in her bedroom. As she surfed through the lands, she thought too herself, "I should really think about going to sleep, as it's quite late, and tomorrow is a busy day." However, Sarah was far too caught up in the written thoughts of others to heed her own thoughts, and for that reason, she ignored her tired body and sleepy eyes and continued her explorations. Eventually, Sarah's vision grew blurry and sleep seemed unavoidable. Of course, this wasn't cause for alarm or disappointment, as other worlds lay waiting far beyond the places the amazing machine could take her. She'd just forgotten that dream-place in the everyday hustle and bustle of life, and was grateful for a gentle reminder that not all beautiful things can be seen with the eyes.
Too often in today's world, we seem to forget about the things we are given that have nothing to do with the creations of our hands and minds... I think tonight I'll trade in web surfing for dream surfing.
Sweet dreams...

Just archived my entries for the first time. You can find the archives under my links list to the left, in case you're afraid you missed something interesting. ^_- Little Miss Pay-Attention-to-ME (aka Seasaidh) is trying to help me type - I haven't yet figured out how to get her to sit quietly in my company while we're at the computer... she continues to feel compelled to play with my fingers while I'm typing (which makes for some interesting typos at times!) I think I may have found a solution though... I moved the printer from the little printer extention at my desk and put a towel there for her to lie on... so now she can sit there and watch me type in comfort without the comfort being trying to sit on top of my face (which doesn't work very well when I'm trying to type). Oh well. This is at least better than what they've managed to do to the bottom of my bed... both kitties have figured out that they can actually climb into my box spring from underneath the bed, due to a tear that occured during moving last summer. -_- SIGH. Not that I'd trade them for the world, of course.
