any guesses?

Back from an extended stay in Victoria looking after our grandkids. And as usual, after getting them to and from school everyday, attending baseball and soccer games, dance lessons, birthday parties and assorted other social events, I'm tired.

We also managed to squeeze in a couple of movies while we were there. Although Under the Tuscan Sun could be classed as a chick flic, I thoroughly enjoyed it. What's not to like about Diane Lane, Italian food, the Tuscan countryside, Diane Lane...oops. I think most of us have fantasized about moving to Tuscany, Provence or some other romantic part of the world and forging an exciting new life. But for the odd exception, this is as close as most of us will get.

The other movie was Lion King 1½. Although the plot line was a bit weak it did have a...hang on, it was a cartoon..sheesh. The kids liked it, although I didn't think it was as good as the first Lion King, it ended happily ever after which is all one can hope for. I'll leave you with my favourite words from the movie....Hakuna Matata.
