A slogan a day.......

Stole this sloganizer link from Bran. The idea is, that it creates a new slogan, using my name, every 30 seconds. You would of course, need to refresh the page to see this new slogan...or just drop by often. Not sure if it will become a regular part of the decore, but it amuses me for now.

Welcome to my neighbourhood boyz n girlz......

In keeping with the weather theme, here's a link to a satellite photograph of my neighbourhood. The little blue shape just above the woods, in the center of the picture where the street curves, is my woodshed. The detail is very impressive considering the picture was taken from outer space. If you look real close, you can seem me in the backyard....oh wait...you'd better not...that was the summer I was into nude sun bathing. (Apparently the images are a year or so old.) To give you perspective, the beach is about 100 yards, as the crow flies, through the field next door to us. You can click on the the 'minus' symbol on the left to pan out and get the big picture. If you'd like to see your neighbourhood, go to GoogleMaps , but remember, Big Brother's watching.

And now here's Ronnie with the weather........

Canadians love to discuss the weather; so much so that we have a television network dedicated to the subject. Perhaps it's because we have so much weather in this vast country of ours. Maybe its because we're as polite and boring as the rest of the world perceives us to be. Whether we're dunking Timbits in our double double or sipping an ice cold Blue, meteorology is always a topic of conversation here in the great white north. With this in mind, I've added a new feature to my blog. Scroll to the bottom of the page and you will find the latest conditions for my town, and a few more that are home to family and other special people in my life. Follow the links and you too can be a little bit Canadian.

Give us an amen for the atheist......

I stole this from Sue and Bran. As the results indicate, I feel no guilt whatsoever.

You scored as atheism. You are... an atheist, though you probably already knew this. Also, you probably have several people praying daily for your soul. Instead of simply being "nonreligious," atheists strongly believe in the lack of existence of a higher being, or God.

What Canadians think.......

Here's a quiz to see just how much you know about what Canadians think. I scored an embarrassing 12 out of 20. I'm packing up and moving to the US as we speak. I hear Tennessee has some beautiful scenery.
