A classmate told me a few weeks ago about this site where you can manage your own football team. I finally agreed to join this site two weeks ago and created my own team. This week-end was horrible one for my team. They lost their first game after two victorious ones. The game ended in a 2-5 loss :(. Altough my team faced a terrible defeat, it's still second in the beginner's league. Next Sunday is the game against the lowest in the league, better kick in the ball in their asses uhmmm goal :P.

Weekend

Another boring week of school has ended :). I hope that this week-end has something intresting to offer.

Portugal 2004

Holland qualified for the European Cup 2004 football in Portugal yesterday night. HURRAH!!!!! :). It seemed that the national team coach finally listened to all the critics and added a few new players into the national team. Thanks to them the end result of the match was 6 - 0 which enabled Holland to go to Portugal, after losing the first match with 0 - 1. I couldn't the see the match because the winter training for my Baseball team started last week and of course I had to train yesterday night while almost all dutch civilians where watching the match on TV.

Saturday night

Last evening was horrible :(.
Fist of all was the fact that the Dutch national football team lost their first qualification match of two in and against Scotland. Every football know-it-all person on TV was furious about it. They were too careless, they play too slow to eachother, they weren't playing as a team, they didn't finished their changes correctly and more complains like that. Of course I agree to them. They played very bad especially the first half. But they had many changes to score and the Norwegian referee was probably bribed by the Scottish team because he "forgot to see" 3 penalties. I know dutch players aren't effective when it comes to scoring penalties but at least the match would have been different.
Second was a TV program which had this woman present in the show, which was a so-called & self-proclaimed expert in love letters and love confessing. She was disgusted with which she called "the bad empathization that mostly males have when it comes to writing love letters, especially with short e-mails and SMS messages". So she wanted that everyone would write large letters in handwriting from now on. I agree with her a bit when you see most of those SMS messages on the Dutch Music Channels, but going this extreme is a bit exaggerated. Besides I guess I have problem then: My handwriting is so bad that most people can't read it. Not very confident when you hear a person fill up TV time like this.
Third and most depressing one was the fact that my internet connection was gone most of the evening :(. Not very pleasing when you're an addict like me.
Maybe you can also add the fact that the dutch candidate for the Children Eurovision Song Contest didn't win the show, but you can leave that one out of it because that kid didn't had a change anyway in my opinion.

Ok ok. It's been awhile (again) but I have had my reasons. First one is school. It's asking too much again from me, I had a few exams again which I did pretty nice. The Linux & Windows project was good as well and I received 2 new rosters in one week. Worst about it is that I finally lost my free Thursday now and that's like freaking' hell to me. I finally got adjusted to the 4 working days but now I have to do 5 again :(.
This Saturday was a movie night for me ;). I went to Matrix Revolutions, because a old classmate had won an extra ticket and I never skip a free visit to the cinema :P. It's a really cool ending to the trilogy although the final scene of the Oracle in the park gives me that special feeling that there's going to be a sequel to the trilogy after all.

New Month, New Roster

I received another new roster for my lessons today. Number 4 already in 3 months. It's getting a real problem nowadays because they have shuffled all my lessons for the third time now (one of the older new rosters was just a copy of the one before that one :P). But they did something really stupid now and this incident makes this roster ready to be thrown away already after one day of use. It seems that my free thursday from the former roster, that was changed now with three hours of lessons of the same teacher, will return :) because the people who creates these rosters probably forgot that the teacher, who has been planned on my new roster on thursday, isn't available on thursday so the roster creating people can start all over again. I wonder how long I can use my fifth new roster that will be given to me in a few days ;).
Last weekend was a one without much sleep. My parents went on a family visit and my neighbours went also somewhere. So my sister tought it would be great to have a nice DVD marathon with some friends when she returned from her night out with them. Too bad for me she kept the lights on in her room and the sound volume high so I couldn't get any of my deserved rest after typing for hours :( as a matter of fact, I slept only from 06:00 till 11:00 on Sunday because of those same damned people. oh well for once it aint a problem, I can survive :P
