the 74th academy awards annual on indosiar: for best leading actor, the oscar goes to denzel washington (yay, my favorite!) for his role in training day. and for best leading actress, the oscar goes to hale berry for her role in monster's ball. gosh, she could hardly speak for a couple of minutes. she cried and somehow i felt like crying too for being so happy for her. congratulations to all. see the list of this year winners here.

finally Ca Bau Kan is playing on the theatre, yuppie! i've got to see this movie. it's about one woman's quest for truth - a truth both painful and poignant, but ultimately, liberating. adopted from critically-acclaimed author remy sylado's bestselling novel of the same title, the story revolves around an indonesian woman's discovery that her mother was a native ca bau kan ('woman' in hakka chinese) and her father a chinese trader. her parents' love story - unfolding against the turbulent backdrop of the dutch and japanese colonization of indonesia - forms the heart of the film.

at 1:00 a.m. it was raining hard and our house leaked again, gosh, and this time was in the bedroom!!! my mom was yelling, my dad was jumping, and i was running around the house with things in my hands. what a busy night for such a messy family :)

and i got to chat with y @ ym last night. this time he didn't have a cam so only he could see me while i couldn't see him. he said i look beautiful lol. do i?

last night the bus y rode in had accidentally hit a young woman as it reached jogja at 21:00. she was badly injured as she was thrown 15 m away from where the accident occurred, covered with blood. poor woman. i asked God to save her life and thanked Him as well for keeping y safe.
