Today I got my grad photos taken at school. I had to get up extra early so I could blow dry my hair, flat-iron it, put on my makeup and put in my contacts. Luckily I booked the appointment for 8:45am, bright and early so my hair and makeup would still look good. However also at this time was the University application presentation in the caf for all University bound students. They basically showed us how to apply online because mailing in applications is a thing of the past now. So I had to miss almost all of the presentation because of my photos. I couldn't reschedule them since everything was booked but I was told by my friends that the application is pretty self explanatory so I hope I'll fair well.
After the presentation and we all got our pin numbers, there was still about 40min left in the period. Only a few people went back to class. I knew our teacher wasn't going to teach anything so me and 3 friends played asshole till the bell. And then in my next class the college application seminar was going on, I'm not applying to college so I stayed in class with the other 5 who weren't. Our teacher said we couldn't play cards :( and none of us could film our projects (it's communications) since our group members were away so the 5 of us played hang man for the 75min class -_- Then it was lunch. How eventful was my morning??

Wow its been awhile but life has been hectic. I just got home from a school trip about ½ an hour ago (12am) and I've been gone since 2pm..... and I still have lots of homework :P But I don't mind I had fun. Me and 10 other students from my Communications class went down to the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) and had a tour and then we saw a taping of "Air Farce"
Just last weekend I went on a trip to New York City with my mom and aunt. It was a great time, we all had lots of fun. But of course something bad had to happen. My purse, that had my wallet and camera in it was stolen from a Macy's change room. How did it get there you ask? Well I was trying on a top and my mom and my aunt came in to see, now this change room was disgusting there was a pile of clothes strewn over the bench, on the hangers and on the floor and this change room wasn't being supervised by an employee. Now in all the hustle and bustle for us to get out of there (we didn't like the top it was hot there were other stores) I forgot my purse. Normally all three of us are neurotic about our purses always making sure to have it, but this one time we let our guard down and look what happened. 10 minutes later I realize I don't have my purse, we rush up to the change room and it's gone. What makes it even worse is how the employee's acted. When we went to the cash desk once we checked the change room and my purse wasn't there, and asked a cashier to call security or something because my purse was stolen, she barley gave us a glance, shrugged her shoulders and continued, very slowly, helping a customer. Is it wrong for me to think my situation was a bit more important then the women's who had her purse and was buying clothes? I thought so. I mean I'm in the retail industry (I'm also a cashier) and I know that if a women frantically came to me asking for security because something of hers was stolen I would ask the women I was with to wait a minute and call security right away. The service was terrible and it hurt me even more.
We had to go to the security office where they showed no sympathy openly swore about their job infront of us and basically showed us they could care less. By this time I realized I wouldn't get my wallet back, but I was fine with that, though I.D is hard to recover in Canada it's doable. All I wanted was my camera. That camera had a year's worth of pictures on it and now those are all gone and my picture and my friends are in the hands of some thief. It just really hurt me to see that no one cared and I had lost everything in just 10 minutes. Thankfully my passport wasn't in my purse, that would have been disastrous. I'll write more about my trip later but I have homework and it's 12:40am now -_-

It's a Monday, I'm tired and I had to stay up really late last night to somewhat finish my presentation on Marie Antoinette that I presented infront of the class today. Beacuse of that I got a total of 3 1/2 hours of sleep last night -_- But enough of my sob story, I'll just go to bed early tonight :D
On Saturday my mother and I made the 2 hour trek up to Kingston to attend the Queen's University Fall Preview. We were supposed to go to the midday session at 12pm but because of my presentation that I needed to work on we went to the eary one that started at 9am. So we had to leave the house by 7. I'm glad I went to the early one because, as chance would have it I met up with two of my friends who were there as well, so we all went in the same tour group. I'm not really sure what my first impression of the University was. I was kinda expecting everything I saw. My mom went to Queen's so I've heard many stories. I'm so lost and confused, I've always wanted to go to Queen's but now that I've seen McMaster, and how beautiful the campus was, I'm not so sure. *pulls out hair* And this Saturday is the Western preview. I have no idea what I'm going to do if I get accepted into more then one.
What I really like about Queen's is the Castle they own in England. It was donated to them by an almuni and they turned it into part of the school, so you can do your entire first year in England ^^

Today in school... actually about half an hour ago my history class had a mock Napoleon trial. We are going to finish tomorrow because it ran late today. I was Lord Castlereagh of Great Britain on the prosecution side. I hope I defended my case well :D I had to get dressed up and everything, just a nice black blazer that I had from horse back riding and a french-cut blouse (hmmm I was wearing a french cut outfit while I was try to persecute the french emperor :P) and a scarf tied around my neck.... I can't wait to see what our teacher decides, she is the judge and had an old fashioned judges wig on, but put a princess tiara (the ones you buy at the dollar store) on as well.
I just found out the other day that my mother, aunt and I are going on a shopping trip to New York City *glee* I was there last year and loved it, and the Canadian dollar is doing so well against the American one, how can I not shop? We'll be going for a weekend and I can bring a friend with us if I want. I'm not sure who to bring tho, you see, all my friends are incredibly cheap and have no money. None of them could even afford the plane ticket and hotel costs. So I'm a bit at a loss on who to ask, who could actually come with me......

So today was McMaster's University open house fair. I was very surprised how nice the campus was and I'll have to write more about my experience later but family has come over for dinner so I must go upstairs now, here's a cool quiz type thing:

Wow, it's been a long while since I posted anything. I guess that just kinda proves how drab of a life I can have at times -_- But onto the good news, this is like a half week for me :D Here in Ontario Grade 10's have to take this 2 day literacy test thing (it covers 2 parts one day is writing the other day reading) you HAVE to pass to graduate High School. I passed on the first try *glee* but many people I know didn't..... So they have to keep taking it every year until they pass. So While I'm usually at school at 8:15am for today and tomorrow I don't have to be at school till noon. Cause the 10's have to take the whole morning to write the test. We had our morning classes today and afternoon tomorrow. But of course most people just are taking these two days off, there was hardly anyone my class today it was funny, we didn't do anything just talked. Hehehehe I get to sleep in!!! *squee*

Yay, I'm sick. Happy joy. I hate it when I'm sick and I still have to go to school, and it's a Monday :( Monday's aren't my best friend in the world.
I'm just a tad bit stressed out at the moment, school is really starting to get to me and it's only the 2nd month in -_- For Communications our groups pre-production for our documentary (we are doing a documentary on Halloween) is due Wednesday and we haven't even started our script yet *pulls out hair* We're not going to get this production section done on time.
*sigh* Oh well, at least work was fun tonight, my friends came and visited me and this one guy wouldn't leave for about 2 hours he just stayed and talked to me and my co-worker. I found out today that our manager is leaving our store and going to the store across the street in the mall :*( it's sad because he's a really great guy, lots of fun. I'll miss him.
