7 days is a long time. If any of you were wondering, I was on leave from work since last week because I was sick again. I had measles. After my ordeal with the Acute Gastro uhhhh I stil don't know the spelling... I had measles starting from Saturday until Tuesday last week. At first I thought it was Dengue. I texted both my mother and Robert about it. My mother assured me it was not dengue and with Robert, we drove to Medical City to have a check up again.

The nurse recognized me because of my hair and I said I have rashes. He was alerted because it might be dengue, admitted me in the emergency room and took my card.

It was funny because when the doctor (who is gay) saw me he remarked he loved my hair. *lol* When I showed him the rashes, he said immediately that it was measels -- but to make sure, they extracted 2 small bottles of blood again. @.@ the results was negative on dengue, positive on measles --;

So I bought medicine and stuck at home until the rashes are gone. I was supposed to go to work on Thursday last week since I don't want to be absent for more than 3 days, and I want to work. My officemate said after our weekly meeting that our boss requested me to take a leave one week after my rashes disappeared. He fears that I might spread it at work and on their kids (since his kid is not yet vaccinated). I understood hios concern so I was stuck in the dorm for more than a week.

Rashes disappeared on Tues, went out on Thursday and met up with Robert since I was bored to death. I bought several books. Finished 4 of them in 3 days.

Expressions in Waltermart have a book sale and I'm a sucker for cheap rennaisance romance plot of books with strong-willed and stubborn females. Bought several of those which costs about 29 - 39 php each *grins* Also bought the last copy of Pride and Prejudice in Merriam Bookstore baside Waltermart at 99.75 php. Yes, I'm kuripot so there :P

Then last saturday, I went to Megamall to find the others there and they asked what happened to me. Presea, Usagi and Soulsifter dragged me to Powerbooks to find the CD of Kang Ta and Vanness. Saw Violin of Anne Rice on sale and bought it instantly. It only costs 99 php! Gah.

So I still have 4 books to finish, 4 books on the shelf. *grins*

Yes, I was sick for the past 3 days. I didn't go to work and most of the time I'm bedridden. Everything started when I finally can sleep. I don't feel that good that night already but I pass it off as lack of sleep since last saturday we had a photoshoot for TB. I'll post some pictures later :D Anyways, I got home, change clothes, do whatever I do before I sleep and sleep.

In the middle of the night, I was coughing, I was hallucinating about AC:WW -- OK, I KNOW I'M ADDICTED, EHEM -- and I was having a fever. I don't know how high yet but I just turned off my fan and slept, I just said to myself that I'm just cold because it was raining since the morning. Then I got worse. By 2 am, I need to go to the bathroom. LBM. Then back to bed, planning to sleep, and then I have to go again. it happened about 5 times and I only get to sleep about 30 mins.

So I'm hallucinating about AC:WW, coughing, sneezing, fever and LBM. And I have work! So I said to myself, I can maybe go to work halfday (yes, I'm a somewhat workaholic and I have a deadline that time), so up I go, took a cold bath (regardless of the fever) and dress up, pausing time and time again to stop the wozy feeling that I'm having everytime I move too fast or I stand up.

By the time I was dress, ready to go to work, I said to myself to just rest for a while and then I will go. I woke up at 1 pm. I gave up and texted my boss that I'm not going to work. I was tired, sick and needing medicine. Went to mercury, bought meds, went to jollibee but didn't finish the meal (which was unlike me -- hey I just ordered 3 shanghai rolls and a rice, I didn't finished the rice and I only ate one freaking roll...). I didn't even want to play AC:WW -- imagine that? And I was hallucinating about those animals.

Mother called. Robert visited and was very kind to buy me the things that I need so I don't need to go out anymore. The next day, all hell break loose. I know I'm getting worse and the meds are not helping. Need reinforcements. Asked my mother to take me to hospital and use my card to have myself checked. They performed checks, got samples from me. I slept in the car while waiting for the results because I can't sleep properly while sitting up and I still feel woozy.

The doctor said that I have a Acute Gastro ... uhhh enintis.. uhm.. whatever -- something that. I don't know how to spell it -- you know what it is. :P Anyways, she said, just drink the paracetamol for the feverl, solmux for the cough, something for abdominal pains, hydrite and gatorade for repleshinishing the liquids in my body while I still have LBM. Mother said I should stay in Pasig. So I was absent until yesterday.

Now? Still woozy, my appetite has not fully recovered and my officemates says that I'm slimmer.

Since my officemate already send out her formal resignation because she will be flying to France next week to be with her husband, my boss is looking for a replacement. *laughs* Actually this scenario reminds me of someone in particular who can't achieve what my officemate had achieved. *shrugs* oh well.

Here are job qualifications that were sent out to us:

We need ONE (1) Application Developer

Job Description:

Under supervision from a Development Manager, provide application development for North American financial applications on the VeriFone VERIX and TXO embedded systems terminal platforms. Programming will be done utilizing CC++ coding. Applications are to be used by merchants in North America for processing a variety of payment types for purchase of goods and services. Utilization of Information Systems programming at the Application Level will be done to provide applications that are customized for the US processors and US based customers.

- 3 years service bond mandatory upon hiring

Education/Other Requirements:

· BS in Computer Studies/Engineering or higher degree
· Information Systems Emphasis a plus
· Strong Verbal and Written Skills a must
· Self Starter Personality, ability to work with remote supervision
· Must be able to travel to United States

Development Experience:

· 5+ years programming experience in C and C++
· Good understanding of TCP/IP or other related Network Programming Principles
· Strong Application Development Background
· Understanding of POS and/or Financial Online Processing a plus
· Strong Knowledge and Experience working with Client Specifications

After counting the bruises on my body, I still want to do it! I'm talking about the Paint Ball war we did last Saturday. I have bruises on my body and my body is stil sore due to the running, crouching and hiding from the enemies, but it was all fun!
