CHh--CHing!
Wednesday August 3, 2005
Coin Counting tonight. After an amazing night out with my flaggers, I think I can take anything that comes.
We did out best. So chin up and go ahead.
If anything goes wrong, we know we tried. I just can't say that everyone in hall did.

The Wedding
Sunday, August 1, 2005
In all the commotion and drama, I can't believe I forgot to blog about Jean Yeow's wedding on Saturday. It was amazing I tell you.
Can you say simple, classy and elegant affair at the same time? Boy did she surprise me with the level of ostentatiousness yet simplicity exhibited! Now that is what I want my wedding to be like. And I must say thatz the perk of marrying a foreigner. You get crazy a bestman who insults the groom jovially at the toast, absolutely well dressed relatives who get drunk almost instantly, free flow of wine and booze, a lovely string quarter and other such memorable bits, that can't even fit into this page.
And you know how they say weddings are good for meeting people. Well of my goodness, I met so many people! First there were all these old JC mates I only vaguely recall seeing around school but never talking to and yet suddenly we were talking nineteen to a dozen. Then there was Daryl, a new freshman at EUsoff, whom I distinctly recall at check-in but skipped the entire orientation. So technically it was the first time we talked and boy was he friendly. Turns out he knew Jean through an expedition to Mt. Everest. But I guess meeting Jimmy was the icing on the cake. I think he really made me re-believe in men. Yes, he was gorgeous, articulate, well travelled, intellgent and the works basically. Hello..can you say EDB scholar, GM of an American MNC and 6 feet tall?
Ahhh...I tell you..I love weddings. Not only do I have more clubbing buddies, I actually have a reason to go to Zouk now and hopefully see Jimmy. hahaha Too bad I didn't have my camera on hand. Everyone looked so good and radiant-guests and bride alike. Guess thatz why Mdm. Damodaran, my JC Lit teacher, didn't recognize me. Haha It's not often that I look so happy. Haha :)
