Manusia Internet

Have you ever realized how much we've depended on internet nowadays?

I was cleaning my shoes and sandals rack today when I found this one pair of shoes with untied lace on it. Problem is, the lace was so short that I couldn't 'perform' my two loop knot in it. I remember that there's another way of making knot. The single loop knot. It's just I couldn't remember how to do it :(

Soooo... I asked my sis. She couldn't remember how to do it either. Then, my last resort, my dad! Neither could he, but he agreed to give it a try.

After a few futile attempts (with all sorts of 'wah-so-ajaib' results :P) suddenly my sis and I thought about our ultimate answering machine -- Internet the Great!!

After a bit google here and there, I found this website: http://www.fieggen.com/shoelace/standardknot.htm

Yessss...!! I was so proud!

Or perhaps I shouldn't...? Imagine, consulting with internet on how to tie your shoe lace?! We might as well learn how to walk from internet then. Things that people used to asked another humans, now we find them in a single machine. Sounds absurd, doesn't it?

Welcome to 2007!

Somehow, it seems like we embed a concept in our mind: "ask-internet-anything-and-you-shall-find-the-answer"

Oh, and the result from following the online "Standard Shoelace Knot" guide:

Not bad, huh? :P

Amazing Race

Saturday, April 7, 2007

Warm up, bunnies...!

Woohoo~~ Amazing Race from 10 am to nearly 1-ish.

Church --> Fed Square --> Kenzan, GPO --> Melbourne Museum --> Parliament Garden --> State Library --> Borders --> Church

We ran from ballantyne to Fed Square! Hohoho... reminds me of gerak jalan back in primary school.

It's surprising how I didn't know 3 out of 7 places here even though I live in city for years. Meep...

The fastest run I did was when we chased the tram 112 back to church (cos we're competing against another group which happened to be finishing as well).

Ran like there's no tomorrow!!

Aiya, it really was amazing race.

Group 13 -- energizer bunnieeesss

But ice cream was waiting for us when we got back. Yummm...

CALORIE OUT + CALORIE IN = BALANCE

Boohoo... my "Program Hidup Sehat"

Well done to everyone -- we survived 'till the end.

Yessss!!!
