DOTA - The new hit in town. Everyone's playing it, guys and girls alike... Well, except that more guys are seen playing it than girls... O_o DLSU internet cafes are full of people playing the same game. Even my friend's new internet cafe that was opened just today in EGI Taft Tower immediately had number of customers playing DOTA... It's DOTA here, DOTA there, and DOTA everywhere. Nope, it ain't Ragnarok or Counterstrike anymore. It's just DOTA.
The game doesn't look so bad. I mean, compared to Counterstrike, I'm much more attracted to DOTA. Well, coming from a person who enjoys games such as Red Alert and Starcraft, with all those ambushing and gangbanging of a single or a couple of humans or creatures using your own group of minions (and let's not forget to mention magical powers flowing around and killing your opponents...), I guess I'd like DOTA when I see it. I haven't played it yet, but soon, I will. Nyehehehe! Baka maadik din ako e. Wahahaha! Well, ewan ko lang. Hmmm... I guess this seems like a pointless entry, huh? An entry about DOTA...

This pretty much describes how I feel after some events and issues that have happened. I've got nothing more to say...
NOBODY'S HOME
By: Avril Lavigne
I couldn't tell you why she felt that way,
She felt it everyday.
And I couldn't help her,
I just watched her make the same mistakes again.
What's wrong, what's wrong now?
Too many, too many problems.
Don't know where she belongs...
...Where she belongs.
She wants to go home, but nobody's home.
It's where she lies, broken inside.
With no place to go, no place to go to dry her eyes.
Broken inside.
Open your eyes and look outside, find the reasons why.
You've been rejected,
And now you can't find what you left behind.
Be strong, be strong now.
Too many, too many problems.
Don't know where she belongs...
...Where she belongs.
She wants to go home, but nobody's home.
It's where she lies, broken inside.
With no place to go, no place to go to dry her eyes.
Broken inside.
Her feelings she hides.
Her dreams she can't find.
She's losing her mind.
She's fallen behind.
She can't find her place.
She's losing her faith.
She's fallen from grace.
She's all over the place.
She wants to go home, but nobody's home.
It's where she lies, broken inside.
With no place to go, no place to go to dry her eyes.
Broken inside.
She's lost inside, lost inside...
She's lost inside, lost inside...

Today was the WORST day I've had in school... I was burnt out, and for the first time, stressed out. The day started off with swimming for P.E. in the Sports Complex. After about an hour and a half in the pool, I started to shake, and my hands got numb. The pool was COLD!!! I could have gotten myself frozen if I stayed submerged any longer... Our break came next. I ate lunch, studied a bit more for the Chemistry test that we were going to have later on, then headed to the Sports Complex again to attend Karate class. Now this really tired me... Swimming made me feel a bit drowsy since I had to open my eyes underwater (I had no goggles. Ehehe...) and so I was sort of half asleep while doing all the kicks and punches. But we had harder Karate training today because the promotion exams were coming up next month. I became very exhausted, then, when I attended Math class. I barely even listened to my teacher. @_@ Actually, it was as if I were hearing a set of "blah blah blah's" escaping her mouth while she lectured. This started my stress to build up. Next, came the horrible Chemistry exam, which I am sure I failed again... Hey, but at first, the test seemed easy at the Multiple Choice part. When it came to the problem solving, I died. -_- I really don't want to expound more on that. I was tortured and I suffered. And let's not forget a certain classmate of mine whom I caught cheating... It was pretty distracting and annoying during the test. But after the test, I thought it was kinda funny. Nyahahaha! So much for that "Woodrose vow" I made about telling on people who cheat. O_o Hmmm... But it will still irritate me if he even gets a higher grade than I do. That would be so unfair... T_T It would be more torture for me if that happened... But I'm so glad today ended. Now, I wanna sleep. Good night...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TJ!
Just in case he stops by my blog. Nyahahaha!
What a week! It was so busy, all I did was study. I had my Botany long tests today. I think did much better in the Lab test than in the lecture test... Gah! Damn photosynthesis, proteins, and carbohydrates!!! You'd think it's easy at first, saying that "Oh, it's just photosynthesis. Plants absorb carbon dioxide, water, and sunlight, then produce oxygen." Hell, there's more to it than that! @_@ Zoology is way more interesting than this... Plants are so... BORING!!!@_@

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHOI!!!! ^_^
(Just before I start blogging... Hehehehe....)
October has come!!! Halloween is nearing. Too bad I can't go trick or treating. Damn, I wish I was a kid again... I want candy!!! O_o
Anyway, so far in school, I've been doing not so good in the tests... I've failed about three tests already and one long test. I really have to study more, but it's damn hard, especially when you think Botany is boring, and it REALLY is... And on Friday, I've got long tests for both Botany Lab and Botany Lecture... GAAAAH!!! @_@ This is going to drive me nuts! I want Zoology!!! It's so much better than a pile of green living organisms we call plants. PWEH!!!

I've finally discovered the REAL reason why I enjoy being with guys more than girls (as friends). Before, I didn't really know why. The usual reason I gave was that guys were just so much more fun...
It's pretty much a long story. I have patience, but it just reached its limit. First term in DLSU, I enjoyed hanging with this group of people. They were fun, and I thought that we could be friends. Second term in DLSU, everything seemed to go upside down. At first, I ignored it and thought that it was just nothing. *BZZT!* WRONG! It wasn't just nothing. There was more to it, after all, than I thought. I was ignored and treated like an invisible entity.
It was the last straw when I last ate with them one afternoon during our break. We went to eat in Venue in EGI Taft Tower. After eating, I watched three of the girls play billiards. Watching them, then, made me feel like playing too so I asked if I could join them. Unfortunately, I was rejected, so I just watched. After a while, they asked if I could play, and I was glad because I really did want to play... Only to find out that they were done and I was to play by myself... Well, more stuff happened before this, like I was being ignored and they wouldn't let me compare homeworks... This was already more than I could take.
It was only today when everything was explained to me; why they've been acting that way with me. If you ask me, the reasons are really shallow. Pretty much like a certain incident that happened to me and my cousin in UOP. And it was then after the explanation that I realized why I enjoyed guys so much more than most girls. Most if not all guys are so full of humor, that they know when to take something seriously and when not to. Some girls, on the other hand, tend to be more sensitive and react much more differently. Something really minor can be something really big for them, thus they misunderstand other people. Pweh!Usually, the guys could just brush that minor problem off their shoulders and act as if nothing ever happened. I don't mean to offend the girls who read this. After all, I did say only SOME. Other girls can be open-minded enough. I know a lot who are. ^_^ Hehe...
Well, so much for my "search for a barkada". All that time, I was looking for a group of friends. It turned out that a while ago, both of them were already sitting beside me during sociology class. That really makes me happy.

Second term seems so boring despite the long breaks scattered in my schedule. Chemistry's boring, Botany's boring, English seems boring... Haaay.... What else can I say? This is going to be a boring term...

Nihao! Just arrived last night from a four day vacation in Shanghai, China. Hey, it's a lot more interesting there than one might think. The people are really friendly, so much different from the Chinese people here in the Philippines (no offense to those Filipino Chinese who read this). And what's funny and cute about them is that they're good at playing Charades. Bwahahaha! We tried communicating with many Chinese who didn't understand English, especially those who work in the restaurants. The waiters have to guess what we want to eat if they don't have an English menu. Haha! It was fun watching how my dad tried to show them what pansit is using his hands. The waiter thought he needed to go the the bathroom. Bwahahahaha!!!
Hmmm... But there is one thing scary about Shanghai though. And that's trying to cross the street. Really, its worse than in the Philippines. The vehicles practically don't stop when you cross the road. It's either you run or get run over. >_< Pedestrians don't even follow the stop and go signs for crying out loud. The cars are on GO and they still cross the street as if the cars would just pass through them. O_o Exciting, isn't it?
I got myself a cool MP3 player in Shanghai and I got for half the price of an iPod. Hell, it's even BETTER than an iPod. It plays any kind of music, from mp3 to wav! It plays videos too and has an FM Radio. It can voice record and can record from the FM Radio. Oh, and the features don't stop there. It can save images and textfiles. HAH! How cool is that? Hell better than the expensive iPod!!! But the downside of it is that this mp3 player has a way smaller memory than the iPod. Only 256MB. But heck, it's good enough for me. The features make up for it. Mwahahaha! XD

I went to a Hale concert the other day with my cousin in 19 East. And no, I'm not really a big fan, but I just like their songs. Hehehe... So I was NOT one of those girls who were screaming Champ's name when he entered the stage. Hmmm... That kinda reminds me of the anime Fruits Basket. I'm talking about the girls of the Yuki Fan Club. If you don't know what I'm talking about, buy the VCD or DVD of the anime and watch it. It's a fun show to watch anyway. Hehehe... Anyway, I got the band of Hale to sign my CD. Scan ko sana pero tinamad lang ako. Next time na lang. May pic din ako kasama ni Champ. Ehehehe... May I remind you again, I'm not a big fan. My aunt just wanted to take a pic of me and Champ. That's it. Well, the whole concert was fun. It started at 10pm with a few bands performing before Hale. The whole thing ended at 2am. I practically dropped on my bed and slept when I got home. 2am is really late for me, although I think that's early for most teens like me. Bwahahaha! Oh well...

BASTA PASADO AKO SA SUBJECT NA YAN!!! That subject's been driving me nuts during the term! I'm so glad that sacrificing a whole weekend paid off. I'm so happy. Weeeee!!!

Freedom at last! Start of school will be on September 13. Hehe... I got lots of time to relax and have fun. I'm finally done with finals... But I hope I did well... I only got the results to my INOCHE1 test. I'm just worried about Math and Zoology1. I've better pass. Ayoko mag repeat... >_<
Anyway, Chrono Crusade is cool! Borrowed the anime from my friend in school. Yes, he is now my stock house of anything anime. Bwahahaha!!! Now I just need to get the next 13 episodes of Chrono Crusade... I was left hanging after watching the first 13 yesterday. That was annoying... I wanna know what happens next! I MUST KNOW!!!!!!!! O_o Okay, I'm getting a little obsessed. No, I'm just hyper right now... I'm listening to Sayonara Solitaire, the ending song of Chrono Crusade. Nice song if you ask me. great melody. Hehehe... Maybe I should put that as the background music of this bloggie... Hmm... sige, hahanapin ko muna yung MIDI file. I know there's bound to be one hidden in the world of internet. Excuse me, I will start searching now...

Whew... What a tiring week... Long tests weren't the only ones that had worn me out. I had a lot of essays to submit, too. I'm so glad that this week is over. Now it's time for the final exams. Hmmm... I don't actually know what to expect. This'll be the first time I've taken a college final exam... Baka parang quarter exams sa high school? Ewan lang...
Hmmm... My classmates seem to have some kind of interest in me... I mean, first, I was "forced" to tell who I thought was the cutest guy in the class (they had a lot of fun, it seemed...). Then I was again "forced" to wear these really huge dangling earrings... They're not really my type, but I wore them anyway to make my girl classmates happy. Hehe.. Third, when they're right next to that particular guy I find cute, they smile sweetly and say, "Hi Carmen!" @_@ Haha... Ewan. Basta ganun sila. Not that they're annoying. They're just amusing, and they make me laugh a lot, even though at times they really make my cheeks burn...

Nyahahaha! Well, whaddaya know? I used my last entry for an essay topic for ENGLONE (a subject in DLSU, for those who have no clue...). I couldn't think of a topic for the informative essay. It so happened that "The most annoying things about my mother" came to mind. Bwahaha! Oh well...
At last! I finally finished my first fanfic! XD And no, it's not an anime fic. It's actually based on the MMORPG I play, Ultima Online. I just made it for their story contest... The prize is a Sweetheart sword... I need to win... I must win... I just hope that the other players of UOP liked the story... I actually made it with some help from my cousin. Nyahaha... Without him I don't think I would have come up with a good plot. Thank you, my golden cousin!!! ^_^

TOP 5 MOST ANNOYING THINGS ABOUT MOMS: (Well, maybe just my mom... >_<)
5. Your clothes have been prepared for you. No questions asked and no 'but's.
4. When she cleans your room, she REALLY cleans it. Books go missing, your CDs are out of place, and that cute little thingamajigg you left by your desk mysteriously vanishes, never to be heard of again.
3. Non-stop lectures about small things and things that have been done years ago. She's got good memory. And you can't protest or defend yourself, 'cause it only gets worse.
2. She pries in things that you consider personal and keep only to yourself.
And #1. A conversation that goes like this: "Mom, can I use the computer now?" "No." "Why?" "BECAUSE I SAID SO!"
I'm sure many other kids and teens out there experience these things... They're annoying, but that's a Mom's job. Nyahaha... And no matter how much she could be annoying, you just can't stop loving her. ^_^
