Weellll... I may be getting someone else to pay for Dreamweaver...
...but...What would my dad do with a webpage?

Hmmm...Re-reading "A Tale of Two Cities." I last read it in 7th or 8th grade -- for fun.
Hai, hai... Nerd... A vain nerd, though... I got hit in the head with a baseball bat in 8th grade PE and had to get stitches....
Once I'd made sure that it didn't look bad (and might gain me sympathy points with people) -- I went back to school that same day!
...
Hey...being a nerd got me a scholarship or 2! (despite blows to the head ... cause that was actually the second blow...first time was when I was 7 and my evil twin hit me in the head with a rock) And "A Tale of Two Cities" really is interesting!

Hm...drowning in TnT goodness... It's ironic, however, that just when I find the Tatsumi x Tsuzuki ML, a bunch of TatsTsu stuff goes to the main ML!
...
Yes, I am plugging that ML! It was a chance discovery for me, and I love TatsTsu! I've gotten the word to at least 3 so far!

Alrighty, nothing to take care of the minor cravings like a bit of Japanese fanart. Just a few gleanings this time:
Feel the TxT joy! Very cute top picture...
Heehee...TnT cuteness abounds!
Inuit inu?
Wai! New EDR art! Mikiko Yamamoto did art for Tsu-chan's b-day!
Sorry, but that's it for now!

Leareth! Lookie! Despite other writing pressures, I sent my next part to you! Now, tag, you're it!
Hope ya like where I left it!
...
Goes off whistling "Morning Mood."
...
It's by Grieg, for those who don't know...

Damnit all to Meifu! The computer that has Dreamweaver on it decides to almost crash, so it has to have a bunch of shit done on it... And it caused my trial of Dreamweaver to end before I could finish my doujinshi site!
Piss on it!

*Smiles sweetly* Ah...yes... So, the dj page not up as expected... Gomen nasai. I have to either pay for Dreamweaver (damned overpriced and not even owned by Microsoft...as far as I know...) or finish off the doujin page with no flash buttons... Unless they have a free flash editor... I guess I'll check...

In other news, I just found out today...er...yesterday now... Anyway, just found out there's a Tatsumi x Tsuzuki ML! Nobody told me! Well, I told you and now I'm telling all y'all reading my blog. Feel the TnT goodness!

Okay, so I'm pissed off at the family computer (already ran out of my free trial on my own computer), and kinda depressed cause the Olympics are over... So, I write.
Yep, Leareth, here's chapter 2 of "Uncast Shadows" coming at ya for a beta! Just gotta tweak a little, then copy it to email!
Are ya surprised?

As for the rest of you, Chapter 1 is going to the TatsxTsu ML, as a special preview. Chapter 1 and 2 will be generally posted when 2 is done
Oh, and it's an AU (not completely...more a post-Kyoto divergent timeline) centered around an extremely angsty Tatsumi.
And it's dark, and gritty, and gory, and not like anything else you've seen me write before.
And hopefully not like anything else you've seen in Yami no Matsuei fiction!

Otanoshimi!

Okay, girls, boys, and everyone in between -- The fic has landed. Yes, the one-shot I mentioned is now up, and it's called "Fourth Dimension." Read it, please. And if it's not too much to ask, enjoy it! ^__^

Oh, and I forgot to mention... I got my new doujin yesterday...
And I spoke too soon about the circle Dotambaya. If the Death Series is a noble family of doujinshi, then #7 is the bastard child...
Consistent art quality, but more sex, and a lot less story. It's like a collection of teasers! And the first one has Tsuzuki... playing with himself... thinking of Tatsumi...
...
HOOEEEEEE~!

Oh, that makes me think of a time I was playing w/ a Ouija board w/ my suitemates in the dorm. We asked the board what the girl who didn't join us was doing, and it got as far as "M...A...S...T..." before we all fell back laughing our asses off...
Until I remembered that she was in my room at the time, because she didn't have a TV and I did...

Damn... Alexei Yagudin can skate. I love watching him on the ice (oh, and NBC going in and watching him change his shirt during the exhibitions wasn't too bad either).

Moving the dj site is still going on... I'm 1/3-1/2 way done. 1-2 more days ought to get everything changed and uploaded.

Well, I posted my little story to the MuxTsu ML. Now, I just need to html it, put it up, link to it, and let the rest of the world know.

Well, things are just weird here. I get inspired by the full moon and the cold, I write a prolugue to a fic... I get all wound up during PMS, I write part of a fic... Now, I get nostalgic and can only write this new fic by...writing it.
It's strange, but I sat in front of my computer to do this one-shot fic, and it wouldn't start happening. So, I grab a little notebook (I think I have 10 of them) and a mechanical pencil (with purple accents of course) and let it happen the old fashioned way.
Well, it did provide more fidgetting space when I needed to work some part out in my head.

Anyway, I now have a little Muraki, leaning toward Muraki x Tsuzuki, post-Kyoto piece on paper. Still undecided on title, but I can come up with that as I transfer the story.
I hope the dialogue came out well, since it seemed to flow off my pencil so well... In fact, it went so well, I thought it was going to take away my fic and lead it somewhere else... But somehow it managed to come back into focus...
Basically, it started as a silly idea...but then one of the jokes became somehow less of one... And then the story seemed to build around the concept that Muraki couldn't be exactly the same after Kyoto. I mean, unless some cheap trick was pulled, Saki's head and spinal column were destroyed with the rest of the lab by Touda's flames, robbing Muraki of his revenge...
Yeah, so one thought leading to another... I guess it became another character study, but this one fleshed out with dialogue and plot. I'll let someone know if I feel the need for a beta reader on this one...

And oh yeah, Leareth... I may have to retaliate for your mere thought of Tatsumi/Muraki (*gag* *spew*)... If you're going to do that to Tatsumi... well, just think of what I can do to your beloved character that may well be worse!
I was going to change the part to secretary, but now...
I really shouldn't muck that much with the basic elements of a fairy tale...
Ohohohoho!

Oh, and thanks for reading chapter one!

And now...to other things...

ah rats!

Well, so much for the Olympic spirit. Apolo Anton Ohno is receiving death threats. Don't ask me why. Apparently there were email threats from Koreans even after Saturday (when the Korean took Ohno out!). I mean, Ohno didn't twist the referee's arm. And why did the Italian skater (unaffected in any way by the disqualification call) say that someone should take a rifle to Ohno?
I don't get it. The Koreans are talking about suing the Australian ref who made the call. Why? From the video and the rules, the ref made the right call. And right before the races that day, the Korean head coach was saying how much he respected the Australian ref, and how pleased he was, and how the guy made the right calling on Saturday (when re-running the race might have gotten the Koreans a medal).
And the Korean skater who was disqualified... Throwing down his own nation's flag?

Anyway... I signed up for a new account for the doujin page, although I'm wondering if some people are loading it just fine...

Hmm... I'm feeling neglected...

"voices in the sky"

02:53 a.m. Thursday, February 21, 2002

NOOOOOOOOOOO!! Torg... Zoe... Will it never work out? (Oh, after today, you'll have to go here.

...

Olympics exciting today...but there was all that emotional blackmail with the Shea family.
I hope the drunk driver that took out Jack Shea feels guilty. If not for that idiot, Jack Shea could have watched his grandson win gold...

Alright...must get out of the "People Suck" mode.
Think happy thoughts...
Women's bobsledding. It's always nice to see the people that were happy enough just to be competing get the medals. And I find it moving when they cry on the podium... And the 2 German teams seemed like such wonderful sports. It looked like they were all sharing the same joy.
That looked like the Olympic spirit.

Anyway, trying to iron out doujin site problems. I really don't want to have to move. I just did all the pages for the 100+pg dj, and that was work. And then I think of having to change the linkage on 100's of buttons and pages...

Oi, Leareth. I found a little Japanese fic that had some narration by dolls in it. I know this will make you feel happy -- it was nowhere near as freaky as yours.
=P~~~~~

Oh, and for all 5 of you out there who enjoy my writing, I did get the first chapter of a new series started. I may wait to post it, though, until I have the second chapter done. And I'm waiting on second opinion to see if it should have a prologue.
And, I may get started on a one-shot. Meifu knows how it'll turn out, since the concept originated as a silly fic idea and somehow became more... It does still have a few silly bits, but then, so does the YamiMatsu manga.

My new doujin is coming in the mail! Another one in Dotambaya's Death Series. I think I'll try and get them all. The art may not be the best, but it grows on you (and you just have to look above here to see how nice it can be)... and the artist is a Tatsumi x Tsuzuki, Muraki x Tsuzuki fan... and from what I've seen they have good stories... and I just get hooked on the emotional tones of the books... Some artists can draw the characters very well indeed, but their work lacks emotional resonance.

Anyhoot... Must look for nice song lyrics to go with future blog layouts... Must use some Moody Blues lyrics (like this and the previous post's email link lines -- from "Voices in the Sky").

~"Nights in white satin,
"Never reaching the end,
"Letters I've written,
"Never meaning to send..."~
Nights in White Satin... First Moody Blues song I heard...

"If you could talk to me, what news would you bring..."

02:07 a.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2002

Wow, after the men's figure skating, the women's just seems so...small. I wonder... if girls learning skating were never told that they can't jump as high as the men, would we see higher jumping women?
Much excitement with the speed skating, though. And the women's bobsled. Next thing I'm really looking forward to is the figure skating exhibitions. No pressure, no rules!

Yay! Another person signed my guestbook! Maybe in another 150 hits, I'll get another one!
Man, sometimes I think I'd rather get people saying my site stinks than not saying anything at all... At least then I'd know I made an impression... Then again, this is where I send people who like to flame...

Hm... My mind is just all messed up... I look at this ML post with someone talking about liking Tatsumi x Watari (*cough* total mismatch *cough* all wrong *cough*) and referring to it as Tatwat... Not being thrilled over the concept, my wandering mind went,
"Gee, I don't think they should abbreviate it Tatwat. Take off the first 2 letters, and what have you got?"

Yeah, yeah, I know. Sorry to all fans of that pairing. If you feel too bad, I might make it up to you by posting some links to Japanese sites that have that pair...
Then again, maybe you can just search for it, like I have to search for my Hakushaku x Tsuzuki. There's more Tatsumi x Hisoka (blech! yuck!! spew!!!) than Hakushaku x Tsuzuki out there, and Hakushaku x Tsuzuki is in the bloody manga!!! I sometimes have an easier time finding Rikugou x Tsuzuki fanfics! And I've found 2 of them!
And there's way too much Muraki x Tatsumi / Tatsumi x Muraki (oh dear, there went dinner and dessert at the mere thought). Just seeing the short-hand kanji for that pairing makes me queasy!! And it's on half the bloody sites that have the pairings I do like!!! And even Leareth put some bits of it in one of her fics!!!
*shiku shiku shiku*

*sniffle*

...

Yeah, still having mood problems. And my Valentine's candy is all gone now...

Oi, Leareth. What's a bod got to do to get you to tell them to f... off? I mean, I don't want to piss you off, considering you're more evil than I am (but just as evil as my evil twin, who incidentally also got the March Hare on the Alice character test).
And you never answered -- are you going to subject guilty people to our innocent relay fic?

Ho-hum...and I'm having fun planning out new layouts for the blog... If only I was better at editting pictures...

"blue bird, flying high, tell me what you sing..."

01:30 a.m. Monday, February 18, 2002

Methinks I've undergone e-death and have been reborn in server hell because of bad e-karma.
Is this what I get for posting questionable content on ssihost and hotlinking pictures on flatland? Is it the slightly bad netiquette and linking directly to pictures on Japanese sites (maybe a couple of them not link free)?

In any event -- I am in server hell. My new one is fine. It's ssihost and nerdcities. SSihost I explained earlier. Nerdcities was owned by ssihost, and they've now been taken over by something far worse. It was bad enough that I couldn't do anything with that space the last week or so because everything I uploaded suddenly became a 0 byte file! Now, the new management not only has a header banner, but also a footer banner...and a pop-up! 3 damn ads! 1 pop-up that only pops up once, I could deal with... But banners cramp my already cramped style! I am asthetically offended!

Anyway, now I need to find a server with at least 50 megs of space (I have that many doujinshi!), and either a pop-up or no ad whatsoever (hey, I'm putting up this for you all, not me, so I think you can deal with a pop-up, but I can't deal with a banner!). Oh, and FTP uploading would be great, since there's such a mass of files...

Oh, and because I'm all caught-up in this and a case of moodiness, I forgot to ask earlier. Are you planning on giving the link to Impromptu to anyone? You are quite free to, I'm just curious.

squeak

04:00 p.m. Sunday, February 17, 2002

Damnit! Damnit! DAMN IT! Stupid asswipes at ssihost have killed my page! They suddenly decide to tack on codes to my page for there stupid pop-ups (that don't even pop up every time) and they put it between my background code and my table html, so all the thing'll load is the header, the bgc and, their stupid, damn, assinine pop-up.
And their support forums are down for 2 days!

ASSHOLES!

I'm moving that part of the site. That's it. That's their third strike, so they're out. I'll move to a different server, but not the same one as my main site. Some of the dj content is questionable, and if an account is going to get deleted because of that (although, do to the sheer mass number of files, etc, they'd have to be pretty anal-retentive about checking to notice -- or someone'd have to report me), I don't want my main site to go down with the ship.

Anyway, sorry to anyone who was trying to look at the dj site. Do take a look at the other part of the site, ne? I wonder if anyone has been. You are the only person out of 80 or so who bothered to sign the guestbook.
So, now I'm sad and peeved...

Ah, yes, short-track speed skating. I'm not sure I like that sport at the moment... It's like the O.K. Corral -- last man standing... And You can laugh at the fluke, but imagine how we feel, here in the States! Our poster boy Apollo Anton Ohno was taken out, when he would have had it! And he got injured! Near as I could tell, the Chinese skater went down, which lead the Korean skater to go down, taking Ohno with him. Kyaa! And that Chinese skater should have been disqualified in the qualifying anyway because he deliberately pushed out the top Korean skater and Nagano gold medalist!
I do agree, however upset with the incident, that they shouldn't have rerun the race. a- These thing happen in short track -- it's all part of it. b- The Australian team would have had some legitimate reason to put up a fuss over that. c- Ohno may have done worse in the rerun because of what happened to his leg! At least he was able to slide across to get silver.
It was really bad, though, seeing the look on his father's face.

On happier topics... I'm becoming a smile dk addict. I got hooked on "Butterfly," then "Mr. Wonderful," then "Boys," then "Dancing All Alone," and now "Sweet Senorita." What's scary, however, is that my mom is discovering she likes some techno...

And... Zoe and Torg are together again! (In the sense that they're in the same place...they've never managed the "together" together...) But, it's starting to go wrong already. Not quite the reunion one would expect, but it was still cute, somehow. This is my favorite Torg and Zoe reunion moment (from the Storm Breaker Saga).

And now, back to work... ;.;

hooeeeee~

04:10 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2002

Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention on the last post...
I don't think that the love Suzaku-neesan expresses for Tsuzuki is romantic. With her protectiveness and everything, she really is like his big sister.
And, I do see evidence for sexual attraction, to some degree, on Tatsumi's part, for that relationship. And if Tatsumi and Tsuzuki happened to make a couple of it (and it would work better now, since they're not partners at work), that would in no way diminish Tsuzuki's relationship with Hisoka. People in romantic relationship need their best friends as much as, and sometimes more than, they need them when they're single.

And...I myself have sometimes stretched things for my own fanservice... I mean, Widoshiiku and Ginga in Time Stranger Kyoko. There was that one scene Kyoko and Mizuno began to misinterpret (^__^), but really there is no evidence that they are other than loyal friends. Yeah, so I do consider that they'd make a beautiful pair (with a lot of hair), but, I will also acknowledge that it's unlikely and unnecessary.

Well, in any event, it was good to let off a rant during, this time... I feel much better already. TsuHi, Sam/Frodo, and Leo/Pres fans are all entitled to their opinons and fanservice. I just won't read/view them! And I certainly won't flame anyone. Flames are the height of immaturity on the net, along with entire websites devoted to hating something. Flames are the puerile resort of the small mind. Anti-character webpages and stuff like that are too much output of negative energy. A one-time rant, a deep breath, and then positive effort into something you feel good about is far healthier. Don't like Amelia (you mean, anti-Amelia person! I like every character in Slayers -- and Amelia has the same seiyuu as ChaCha -- and she and Lina have such an adorable friendship), well then devote a site to a Slayers character you do like...
Anyway, like I was saying... I hope nobody takes my opinions personally (it has happened). You know, it is also immature to think that everything is about you...

Besides, everything is about ME!
=P~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Just kidding! ^__^
Mostly! *niko niko*

03:44 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2002

Well, the whole pairs figure skating thing was resolved. I am glad that the Canadians got the gold, and also glad that it wasn't taken away from the Russian pair. Neither pair, though, are going to go down in history as pure winners. I think the gold must be rather tarnished for both...
Anyway, I think this whole "ranking" system that they added to the figure skating system is bogus. It's BS, and thoroughly subjective. At least the scores can appear objective. Why did they implement this? Ranking should be based on pure scores. And if they do it to prevent ties, then why? What's wrong with a tie? I think they should can the rankings!

Ho-hum...

I've always found the strangest things interesting. When I used Napster, I liked to see what people copied from me. It amused me that it always seemed like everybody wanted what I had just got myself. Now, I am getting way to into stats. I check my site stats. "Oh, another wandered in from the blog." I check the blog stats. "Oh, what's this? Oh, how sweet, Leareth linked me in dedication on 'Distraction.'" I do some other stuff... I stop and wonder. I take the time to check and compare only to find that the person followed a trail from Leareth's fic, to my blog, to my site. I have to be pretty easily amused, because I found that remotely interesting.

Not as interesting, tho, as ppl hitting here lookin for "Legend of Dragoon good sex." Well, I suppose if you're gonna read lemons, you want the characters to feel fulfilled... I read a Japanese Watari x Tsuzuki, Tatsumi x Tsuzuki fic where Watari and Tsuzuki had bad sex (because Tats had just dumped Tsu, and Watari was trying to move in on Tsu, but Tsu was, of course still in love w/ Tats, and he called out Tats name during -- you know -- and he ended up back w/ Tats in the end and poor Watari was left alone...).
...
Oh, well I suppose the author tried to make it up to Watari later, by having him get together with Hisoka. My thoughts, however, were "What a horrible thing to do to Watarin!"
!!!
Ehehe...Joudan da yo! I'm only kidding. No need, Hisoka fans, to lynch me. Besides, lynch mobs aint what they used to be...
...
Anyway, all those lookin for Tatsumi x Tsuzuki are in the right place!
...
Oh, and speaking of making moves on Tsuzuki behind Tatsumi's back... I read a Japanese fic the other day where both Watari and Hisoka tried it on the same day! It was Tsuzuki's b-day, and Tatsumi was away, or maybe he was working despite it being a free day. Anyway, Watari basically decided that he'd rather live without Tsuzuki a little longer than not live at all (as Tats would assassinate him). And Hisoka was interrupted by Tats finally calling, just when he was gonna convince Tsu to come have tea (he called out loudly while he left, so that Tats would hear him on the phone, and Tats was surprised that even Hisoka would try to make a move)... It was amusing (in the typical way...not in the "oh, groovy stats"-I-must-be-a-boring-nerd sort of way).

Wai! TxT mania on the ML! Tatsumi x Tsuzuki strikes back! We'll show those people who denigrate our beloved pair!
...
...
Can I blame all this on PMS?

Hm...I feel a little rant coming on...
Why is it that people pair up romantically those that are not romantically interested in each other or don't need it? Frodo and Sam in LotR do not need to be romantically involved. Tsuzuki and Hisoka love each other, yes, but they are not in love and I haven't seen the least bit of sexual attraction between them (unless you exaggerate the already exaggerated parts of the YamiMatsu anime). Oh, and Leo and the President from West Wing?!
IS NO FRIENDSHIP SACRED?!?
Of course, it's not just yaoi/slash fandom. It happens in yuri/slash and het pairing fandom, too. It bugs me. It seems to me to devalue friendship. Makes it seem like romantic love is the only real type of love. That loving friendship doesn't exist because it's really romance. And damnit! That's just not true. A friend you can love and who loves you, and who supports you, is worth at least as much as a lover.
So, as far as Tsuzuki and Hisoka go... They need each other, yes (perhaps too much...I mean, doesn't Hisoka seem a tad emotionally dependent on Tsuzuki?); they love each other, yes; but they should not be a couple. In some ways, they love each other too much. They don't need it, and it is highly potentially unhealthy.
Besides, they don't even look that good together. I don't have a shouta-con, so I don't find Hisoka attractive (he's a cute kid). I also don't think Tsuzuki really looks 18. I think he looks about 20 (and Hisoka looks about 14, tops). Everyone says that Tsu didn't age in his last 8 years, but I read the kanji and it just says that he didn't decay, dessicate, etc. Basically, it was just saying that he didn't suffer weight loss, dehydration, emaciation, or become haggard despite lack of food, water, and sleep. Anyway, I think Hisoka looks way too young for him...and he is...
Oh, and a male friend who watched the YnM anime called Tsuzuki a pedophile because of the exaggerated TsuHi hints they put in there.
So...
...

Can I blame it on being tired, too?

???

01:56 a.m. Friday, February 15, 2002

Notice anything new about the layout? It's nothing big. Yes, I did change my site link, but that was already changed... Will it help if I tell you to look over <---- there, to the left? Or maybe you don't notice... I've added someone to my "kidnap" list! Yes, if Alexei Yagudin, Russian figure skater who trains in the US, ever feels like gaining American citizenship... I'd be more than happy to help out. ^_^
Okay, he's attractive, but not drop-dead gorgeous. But he also has charisma, a smile that lights up his eyes...and dude, he can skate. I find talent very attractive, and I've always had a thing for figure skaters. I can't wait to watch him in exhibitions (if NBC shows them!). Not that I'm hoping for a Phillippe Candoloro type exhibitionist exhibition...

Anyway, the men's skating was a good show. And our all-American, golden curled boy can jump! He just needs to work on that artistry. Ice dancing next... Maybe I'll watch it...

I updated my site, just a little. I added a banner I made last night. That's why I was still on here when pitas finally got back on-line. I got caught up looking thru my layout pics until I found one that could be made into a passable banner. I also uploaded another doujinshi. Not too long, this time (which is good for me! sad for you!). So, finally some Muraki x Tsuzuki action you can see! All 18 illustrated pages of Homura.
Still lots more dj's to go... I am not looking forward to preparing and uploading "D" -- it's over 100 pages long! You would be happy, tho -- it's all TxT. Only 4 pages of that are sex, but it's a shower scene! Yes, 4 pages of steamy Tatsumi x Tsuzuki.

Hm... My dad asked me where he could look at this website I was creating. I told him he couldn't. Like HELL I'm going to give him the url!

!!!

03:44 a.m. Thursday, February 14, 2002

Pitas no baka! I couldn't update this when I wanted to, because it decided to be down for HOURS! Baka yarou! Korosu zo!
...
Anyway...

Happy Valentine's Day! In celebration, here's a little comic from a Japanese webpage (Yami no Shinigami, always a favorite):
Valentine's comic! Tatsumi isn't going to accept chocolate from Tsuzuki, but when Tsu starts walking away all sad, he calls him back... Last page, he asks if Tsu made them, to which Tsu answers, "Of course!"

And, just for kicks, here's more art from those wonderful Japanese sites:
Oh boy! Is that a lot of Touda, or what?
Kojiro and Kotaro.
Inu paradise?
A peaceful moment together.
Scary Muraki! (Well, scarier)
Inu Tsu-chan has a little friend. ^_^
Do they take returns?
Ack! Poor Watari...
And now Tsuzuki!
Oh no! They even got Muraki!
Wakaba-chan and Kuro-chan. ^_^
Oh... This could make a Watari x Tsuzuki fan outta ya...
And here's a cute one.
And now, angst.
Yay! YamiMatsu character icons! You can use them, but death is threatened if you don't link back to the page...
Oh...steamy... So that's how Muraki wishes Tsuzuki a happy birthday. The same artist did this picture (apperently this is what Tats was doing in the meantime), which goes with the other one to explain this comic I think I mentioned before. Now, I get it.
TxT. There are a few pics mixed in here.
Wai! There's a very cute pic halfway down.
More TxT. ^_^
Muraki, with plushie Tsu-chan. It looks like the doll is saying "suki" (love).
Mushi. In this comic, Tats is gonna pummel Muraki, but Tsu tells him not to. Muraki started to get happy, but then Tsu told Tats that it wasn't worth bothering over an insect...you see the result...
Whee, another fun comic! Here the artist jumps in on the post-Kyoto scene, attacking Watari and Wakaba for getting in the way of Tats and Tsu's private moment. ^.^;;

And... I got my webpage back! I found a free host that gives 30 megs of space, no file restrictions that would bother me, FTP uploading, and no banners or pop-ups. Maybe it'll be better than envy. It's CFM Resources, which is geared toward ColdFusion pages, but it never said that you had to have a coldfusion page. I don't know abot it's reliabilty yet (downtime, speed with connections faster than 28.8), but I'm already preparing a back-up on Brinkster (pretty much the same deal, except no FTP -- but then, they have the coolest web file manager I've seen). It didn't even take me that long to find both of those. I also tried to get a short url with diz.nu, but it's been working wiggy... I keep getting this page saying that Quake is coming soon...

Anyway, check out the new, imrpoved (though with very little new content) First Cry in Hades! I really like how some of the pages came out (the others are okay). Anyway, the index and menu load quickly, and the index can also go to the doujin site, which really is a part of my main site. Choice of pics on pages was mainly whim, except I used Kazu-chan's fave pic for the art page. I was gonna have the links page all artistic, but it takes just long enough to load with all the banners. Would you believe that every Japanese site I linked has a banner? I have over 20 Japanese sites linked! Those comprise the part of those sites that I have bookmarked that have a good amount of art (or a small amount of really good stuff) and that are "link free." Whew, now I just need to beef up the English links (I got your new page just in time). And I need to finish the doujin site...

Hey, I fiddled around w/ a scan, and it isn't Yami no Matsuei! It's for any KKJ fans here. It's from the last volume, but it's spoiler free. It's my take on a scene. You just need to know who Noin and Silk are (and maybe a little something about "Wayne's World"). Anyway, Party on, Wayne!

In the Olympics... They keep calling that Swiss Ski Jumper a Harry Potter look-a-like... Well, he does fly like him...
Hmm...I'm looking forward to the men's figure skating long program. That Russian guy in first place (Yagudin?) is goood. And the Japanese guy (Takeshi) looked like he was having so much fun! And the Finnish judge is just evil (except when she gives pity points, like she did to Todd Eldridge). And give our golden-haired American boy some footwork, and he'd really kick ass!
It's also interesting listening to Scott commentate. Sometimes he vocally lifts the skaters when they jump. He didn't do that for that other big-shot Russian skater...maybe that's why he fell on his bum...

And I still have the Olympic fanfare stuck in my head...
