I had ramen and red wine for dinner...
And it was instant ramen...
...
I don't know if that qualifies me as an official lush or an unofficial wacko...
Well... my evil twin went out to dinner without me and it was his turn to cook tonight!
I didn't feel like doing much cooking just for myself, and we don't have much instant stuff...
And that open bottle of bordeaux was just sitting there...
I said "screw it!" and drank it with my ramen.
But I'm in a good mood. I started my day with plants. ^_^
I got some new plants for my patio/balcony and I repotted them today. Now, in addition to my pink jasmine, and my brother's sweet lavendar, I have a draceana (a cool, spikey palm-type tree), a mandarin orange tree, and some purple and yellow flowers.
So in addition to the joy of plants, I had the joy of soil in my hands! Nice silky soft soil, with a rich earthy smell... How could I not be in a good mood?
And I needed the good mood, for putting together that Ikea bookcase!
"They want me to hammer in 50 nails!?"
...But, I got it up, and filled... and my room is finally set!
Except for the walls...
But I have all my books, music, and videos in place (those $10 Ikea shelf inserts may be harder to put together than a 7 foot bookcase, but they do the trick! How else would I get my entire manga collection on one shelf, in there upright position, being able to read all their spines, and still have room for my Vash the Stampede action figure on the end?
...I didn't really have places for all the stuffed animals I couldn't bear to put into storage... They're taking up floor space...
Yes, meet the mature bearer of a BA... Who'd rather go into a toy store than a clothing store...
...and still loves to play with mud...
Oh...and I saw "Life, or Something Like It" yesterday. I enjoyed it.
But Regal Cinemas charges too much for popcorn!
*sigh*

Well, because someone on the Yami no Matsuei ml wanted more Tatsumi x Tsuzuki fics, I posted that piece I mentioned (at least I think I did) a while ago.
It's the one that I wrote partially in response to Leareth's wishful thinking. She's already seen it of course, as well as the gals on the Tatsumi x Tsuzuki ml.
Well, now, I can't let a TnT fan down just because they're not on the mailing list! Especially since (rat-trap memory) it was a person that gave me a nice review on ff.net!
So, I put the story on ff.net until I update my webpage. It's called "Arrhythmia." Enjoy!
Anyway... yeah... I need to update my links page and my fiction page. And I wanted to add my annotated track listings for the OST's from my failed music page experiment. I'd put it under "misc," I guess.
It may come in handy for finding which song it is you like. All the tracks from both OST's are on audiogalaxy.com, but if you just wanted to get a specific song, this would help... I hope...
Well, I'll at least have it available for the members of my Yami no Matsuei group on AG...
Wah! I finished "Akuma ni Hanataba wo!" And there isn't any more. ;.; Haruka didn't choose between the demon Arufu (...makes me think Alf... but he's not an annoying alien...) and the angel Rafael...
^_^ The one-chapter story at the end was very cute and funny, too! Poor Shouko-chan turns into a dog when she gets excited... and her senpai that she's in love with is afraid of dogs. =P
...That's all, I guess...

I'm in manga heaven...
Floating on a sea of shoujo bliss...
Yes, Mandarake was having a sale. They're "unless otherwise marked" volumes are down to $1.50 now (have been for a while, actually), and when I went yesterday (before going to spend time with my best friend! ^_^), they had a sorta clearance sale, where some of those $1.50 volumes were marked down to $1... but if you picked out 10 of those it was only $5!
At 50 cents a book, you can bet I tried some new series(technically, old stuff, since it is used manga and the marked down stuff were all older series).
Yes, so I'm trying "Crystal Dragon" by Ashibe Yuuho (dang, it's looking good, why couldn't they have had volume 1?), some of the "Ring" series by Ichino Harumi, "Giruguremu" by Iba Takeo, "Blue Forest" by Akimoto Seiko, and "Akuma ni Hanataba wo" by Kamijou Yuu (which is looking cute so far).
I also grabbed the first 2 volumes of "Fruits Basket" new at Asahiya... And promptly had my best friend poring over them and wanting to get to Torrance ASAP, since they never had "Furuba" when she went there before (and now they have tons ^_^).
Hehehe... she kept complaining, "Yuki looks so much more girly in the manga! And I can't get over the shiny butt!"
The flap pic had the boy wearing tight, slightly shiny pants.
In other news, I have no other news.
...

Well, somewhat better today. I ate real food for dinner, but it may not have been the very best idea.
Well, it's not too bad.
I don't get it. No reviews on a story for weeks... and then *poof* 2 withing 12 hours.
Not that I'm complaining, since they were more nice reviews. ^__^
Tasia-chan! At least your introduction to having your number requested was cute.
First time a guy asked for my number (outside of contact info for a class project), it was stranger I smiled at (because I'm friendly), who barely speaks English, who tried to tell me it was love at first sight, and stalked me for a day!
He didn't even know the exact English for "love at first sight" and tried to draw me a diagram!!
... ...
I can laugh at it now, at least.
...um...yeah...anyway... I'm not neglecting you. I read what you sent me and enjoyed it. And I will take a closer look, if you so wish, tomorrow. ^_^
Ho-hum... I think I have to contact our ISP provider to get a specific IP address for my computer, so that I can access the cable modem through the network hub I set up today. I got my brother's comp (the original on the plan) working, and I got the computer's to connect to each other, but my comp won't connect to the internet...
*sigh*

Well...I'm moved. Not all moved in, but moved.
I got sick, so I haven't unpacked much.
I saw "The Scorpion King" today. It was entertaining. And my brother and I were happy because Kelly Hu is in it. We've liked her since she played our favorite character on the soap "Sunset Beach." That show just wasn't worth watching after "Rae" left.
Hm...can't watch TV... too many food commercials. I can't look at food, especially fast food, right now.
Um...no site update yet, but soon, friends. Despair not!
...not that I think anyone actually despairs over my webpage...
...not that I'd even want anyone that emotionally connected with my page...
Um...I'll go now...
Eat some more bland food...
Get some nice, healing sleep...

I feel blah.
And I've been feeling apathetic toward the internet the last few days.
And I got a little stuck writing...
But I enjoyed those chapters of "Orchids," Leareth. Now there's some original thinking.
I can tell you that I haven't come across any Japanese fics even that use that idea.
Now, maybe if you threaten me (after I've moved) I'll get more written, too.
It's strange, though. I know what I want for chapter 5 and I definitely know what chapter 6 is going to be all about... I just can't get through 4!
I can't think now what I want all the characters to say. I started writing 4 the other day because I got some nice, mean ideas for character interactions (you know, great knife-in-the guts lines and what-not)... but they were all for chapter 5's action! ;.;
Oh well...
And "Another Kind of Selfish" is still my most popular story on ff.net. Why can't they follow the link to my website and compliment "Uncast Shadows" as extravagently? That story is closer to my heart... if not my brain at this moment.
Not many people look at my ff.net profile I guess. I say right there that I have more fanfiction on my website... I wonder if I should go ahead and start putting "Uncast Shadows" on there...
Or maybe I should go into a 12-step program for feedback addicts...
Oh well... again...

More...packing...
...this would be so much easier if it were only my childhood toys in here... but no...
But, there's nothing like moving to finally get you to get rid of stuff! I think I've sent one pick-up truck load of stuff to Goodwill, and thrown out almost as much. ^.^;
...It also seems to be making the internet look less interesting, somehow...
I can't even read bad fics for amusement any more...
...I'm turning into a big fic-snob. I find myself deciding I don't like a fic much from the first 2 paragraphs, and then reading one really crappy line and being unable to go further...
...
Merciful Minerva! I hope no one does that with my fiction!
(No, I'm not turning into Wonder Woman... Especially not since my twin and I are supposed to be the Wonder Twins).
Anyway... When are you going to give me something to read, Leareth? I don't know Tokyo Babylon, so TB fics do me no good!
Won't you answer my wistful thinking? =P
Oh yeah... Been much too busy and uncreative lately to write. One day ditched from packing to write a story is enough!
...Dude... I haven't even had the creativity lately to come up with a title for that story...
Anyway, that will go up and all that when I have time to update my page. And I also plan to update my links page. I have to add a few links, take off a few Japanese links, fix some banners...
...And put up some new linking button that someone sweet was kind enough to gift me with. ^_^
Hmm... I'm feeling mellow...

*kyuu*
I spent... like 10 hours packing today...
Only thing I did for my webpage, etc, is reply to password requests...
I'm tired... and I'm chatting w/ my best friend...
...I'll do stuff when I'm in cable modem land...
=P~

Ah, yes... I've changed the layout.
Back to TnT! ^_^
It makes me happy!
...
Except for that trite greeting card poem I created... oh well...
I don't know how long this one will last. I've gotten some nice offers, so this may soon be changed. ^_^
Those of you who've been wandering on from Leareth's blog lately may have been looking for a new fic...
Well, sorry, it hasn't been "published" yet. And if you really were wandering on here for that, then...
Thank you! It's so sweet to know you care.
...
Or are you that bored? =P
And...speaking of wandering, I got a search engine hit for "la souris est sous la chaise."
Looking for Eddie Izard, were you? I like him too, but my page has nothing to do with him. =P
;.; More of my favorite Japanese sites are closing.
