Sunday, October 14, 2001 10:34 p.m. All Star Me
Saturday was awesome. I haven't hung up so much in a long time. Woke up early in the morning to for a run in West Coast park and it was cool to meet my old army camp mates who were having they activities there. I should jog more often..hee hee. Met up with Rachel, Jeremy and Marcus in the afternoon and shopped for the old skool Chuck Taylors shoes. My Jack purcells are so worn out and i got myself a pair of dark blue hi-cuts. Rachel and Marcus each bought a pair of lo-cut black ones... We are so cool that we wore them straight away. it felt funny wearing new shoes sparkling new.. it made me insecure i had to ask people to step on them. went for my church youth meeting later on. Met up with all of them at Mr B's at Cuppage Terrace later to watch Marchtwelve. It was the first time i am watching them play but i was very excited. Dewi always has a very nice voice but to hear her sing in Marchtwelve is just so awesome! they remind me of the awesomeness of Jejune!! Headed out to insomnia later that nite for Techkroniq... ain't much of a Tech fan but it was nice to have so many friends around you.... saturdays just can't get better than this ....especially when you have 2 essays and 2 presentations due the coming week...Rock!

I survived this week. PENSIONSTATE.COM is up and running again. I managed to survive my presentation of a local feminist play for theatre class. man... now my weekend will be focused in completing my sociology essay on subculture. Shout outs to those who did my survey, you guys rock! Boy am i wishing for the exams to get by.

Tuesday, October 9, 2001 11:56 p.m. tuesday is the day
Today was kwap chap day again. thats what a group of guys from NUS is doing... jumping on the bandwagon of cool crew names.. we will be known as the K.C.C or the Kwap Chap Collective from now on. Its really nice to have met the guys, Marcus, Kevin and Elson, they just make NUS more less than the cosmic fart it really is ! Felt a bit accomplished when i finished one essay today. that leaves me a presentation and one more paper for this week. How fast time flies.. it will be exams again... i mean for the first time in 3 years i will be having exams. I shudder at the thought of writing under pressure. But actually i am more worried about how to save up enuff dough for the Fort canning Party on the 10th Nov, then for Zoukout2 and also to pay for my vespa cosmetics! aarrrggh... but at least i have something to look forward to. That and Pension State gigs.

Monday, October 8, 2001 05:23 p.m. deadlines lifelines
Boy. how am i going to finish 2 essay assignments, 2 presentations by this friday? I wonder. I guess i will be glued to my seat in the school library again. I just registered for my exams today and the fact of my exams always being in the middle of my birthday (12th Nov 1980)is just no fun. I had my 16th birthday doing my O'level English Paper. My 18th on my A'level GP paper. Now, i am celebrating my 21st by mugging for the exams that will end only by the 24th Nov. But i guess i am born with it so... :) anyway i am planning for a belated big bash maybe at the garage cafe (DJ Wei, if you are reading this, wanna spin? ) where i worked last time! hehe its gonna be a blast.

Sunday, October 7, 2001 12:57 a.m. I want my Optimus Prime!
What is it with Kids these days! I am so so jealous. I never had the main action figures of the transformers when i was growing up and there was this 6 year old kid, happily dismantling a box of the collectors' reissue Optimus Prime figure!!!! Upon checking with his mother, whom told me that it is his Dad who is the collector but the son plays with the toys. Man, i also want a collector Dad. $180 dollars is A LOT of money to spend on one figure. But then again, Prime can beat up the power rangers and scare the skirts off the puff girls anytime. ... but then again his an officer, a gentleman. :) Looks like i have found reason to get a job.

Saturday, October 6, 2001 02:01 a.m. scootering..
Its was fun friday nite. rushed my essays for next week before meeting up with Jeffry and Mimi at Holland Village. Its been a long time since we went scootering.. and i finally saw Jeff's nice Vespa Sprint Veloce.. peach colour.. i like. Sure hope i can do up my vespa in time for christmas run.

Thursday, October 4, 2001 09:22 p.m. Pasta Mania!
The Rain today was pleasing. In fact i love the cool weather these days. Thats because it always rains when i'm either in school or at home. Rain when riding my vespa is no fun. Today i had fun at school, done my Industrial Design presentation smoothly all thanks to a concientious buddy! Met up with Dennis, Peishan and Marcus at the Arts canteen later and we went over to Prince Georges Park Apartments where they stay and cooked dinner. Pasta with mushrooms and tomato sauce is YUM. We were stuffed. Boy do i wish i was staying there at the hostel. then i can plaster my walls and start wearing slippers to school.

Tuesday, October 2, 2001 09:28 p.m. Kwap Chap Party
I love tuesdays. Its the shortest day in school i ever have. I finish lessons at 12pm...Weee! Met Up with Peishan and went over to her room for konnyaku jelly, its really yummy! But my tuesday nites are not complete without the kwap chap at pasir panjang road near NUS with my mates... 4 legs good... two legs bad... then again the duck was yummy too!

Monday, October 1, 2001 08:56 p.m.
Its was a good weekend. I really felt recharged. Pensionstate played a really charged up show saturday nite.. its great to be back playing gigs again!Whats more we may be lined up for the STASIS gig at the substation at the end of the year! I am turning into a no-lifer... i have never hung out in Libraries so much in my entire life and in Varsity.. people even recognise me cos i seat in the same spot so often! But i just look forward to Tuesdays cos its the day i end early plus the fact that the KWAP CHAP CREW will be having their weekly Kwap Chap Session near FOng Seng haha... right on!
