Finally ripped out enough material to complete my science essays... really i wanted to be honest about it but since i know nuts about stem cell research and stuff.. thats the only way to go. besides, most of my classmates camo-ed theirs pretty well. Well.. all geared up for today's show. Its been a while since we last played but Pensionstate is ready to rock.. haha. cya at the show.

Whats it with Taxis!!!! Today one swerved out suddenly on the road and the car in front of me jammed the brakes... for a moment i thought i was gonna kaboom into the back of the car with my scooter! Vespa Brakes just dun cut it.. but lucky swerving to the left is a good idea.. i am shaken and shocked... and the scoots scratched... i think i wanna have a long jog now to clear my mind... bye.

What a weekend it was, first off i all geared up for Moods and Return to Fall at Mr B's. Met up with nice people, but i really got the blues when the blues band screwed things up. But its was good eeing familiar faces around. My Scooter broke down on sunday at Siglap and what an embarrassment it was... my throttle handle broke!! It is back to pedestrain hood where the evil staircase demon of NUS Arts will bug me.. never felt so tried walking to the damn canteen from the bus stop before!

Wednesday, September 19, 2001 11:22 p.m.
Haven't updated since 2 weeks! What can i say.. Shock, Tragedy. No words man... School has only added more assignments and work. Been hanging around aimlessly in the library, only to feel the static of tension/competition. It makes me nauseous. Just grabbed my books and leave. Have also been second hand smoking too much. I need to run soon and break a sweat, maybe that will make me feel more lively.. after all those hostelites seem pretty lively.

Just watched A.I. It was awesome man. and the funny thing was, David the robot kid was on a mission to be a real boy so that his mummy would love him. I was watching the show with MY mum and it has been a while since we had gone for dinner and hang out together. My Mum always tell me to "Keep it Real." Oh, my Mum found out finally that I ride a Scooter. I had been keeping it from her since October last year when i got my license. thank God she didn't freak out or go ballistic, i guess its the power of a cute pink vespa.. if i was riding a KTM... maybe i have to walk to school soon. :)

Monday, September 3, 2001 11:16 p.m. the rebirth
Wow wee... 5 weeks into school and its the recess week already...yes this is the week i am going to dedicate to my scooter and get it done up prim and proper once and for all. Got all my Vespa accessories today.. Big Windscreen, Airplane model for my front bumper, getting all the chrome crash bars tomorrow.. before i dump my bike at the mechanics for a complete makeover to '60s Mods style :) yes the colour scheme will be glossy black with red trimmings .... i just can't wait. the rebirth has finally begun.

Today went on pretty well. Womad on friday was just okay...but the main stage act kinda sucks cept for the cuban one... more of getting any one with an ethnic sound and add a dance beat. But i found the club stage (smaller one) much much better.. afikaan sounds. Sent my vespa for repair and the lights turned out working but as soon as i rode it again it went off... damn .. very irritating. but what to do... my bike IS 30 years old. But luckily i hitched a free ride to my JC teachers' BBQ. Really nice to meet all the old skool teachers .. and great to see some of my classmates there too. Man... i am growing up faster now..

Its been a long time since i had long walks... really enjoyed those quiet moments away from stress and reality. But the fact that you are in NUS is that to get anywhere is long walks and lots of stairs. Too bad my vespa's lighting has blown... rode in without lights to go home last night.. and became a pesdetrain again for today. Damn... too lazy to check out the problem anyway. Buts thats alright, cos the weekend is here and a week of term break beckons. A little careful planning to go get pirated DVDs from across the causeway.. heard that they cost only S$6 each!

The weekend came and passed. Sunday was my kiddie cousin's first day at sunday school! He is 2 and a half years old. While my parents went for the main church service i stayed around and watched after my cousin in the nursery. What amuses me is that all the teachers thought i was his DAD!!!! Thats damn funny, a dad wearing spike belt all... Anyway it was fun playing with the 2 and 3 year olds.. miss those times when you were so carefree and relac. I felt so good knowing the kids like me..ha. Browse around at Kinokuniya with Marcus and Dex later that day. I had such fun at the Design and Music section. There's ebven a Coffee table Pictorial called LITTER showcase arty colour photos of Garbage Bins/trash cans from all over the world!!!! I party love the one with "I LOve You " crawled over it, NYC. Gonna go back and get the Ramones book soon man.

It's the weekend already! and how much i love my school's network system.... came early to school, find a good seat in the library and start watching all these cool live concerts! In the last 2 days i have watched bands like Alkaline Trio, Elliott, Samiam, Brandtson! not to mention downloading MP3s. On the bummer side of things, I received a email from Lumberjack online saying that they cannot ship my order of a Elliott and Dashboard Confessional Tee shirt as some people over here had ripped them off with bad credit cards! Damn... its just so trouble doing all the money orders. whos the bastard! Polyvinyl won't ship also. Oh well...

today was my longest day in school but it went down pretty fine. found out that the play i was reading for an assignment was missing pages cos i went to the class not knowing that a major character died! i have also been eating 5 meals a day because most of my lessons start at 12pm, thank God some jc mates of mine had asked me to join them for footy tomorrow, sure is due time for burning some carbos, and fat.and the plan of growing my hair out long is so so tiring and the neither long nor short stage is irritating. But i have to persevere, it will be my first time having long hair and only time to ever get dreads during varsity before i graduation and sell out to the corporate world (Not!). Must study harder to stay in school longer, grow longer dreads then also no need go for reservist..haha...

The first step to enjoying your root beer float besides in a frosty mug, is also to not take too much fluids before that. Root Beer in a full stomach is no fun... but still nice.. I still remember how my buddy and I would sneek off during BMT in Tekong to make our own floats..he'll get the root beer and i'll get the vanilla ice cream hehee... most luxurious and pampering thing you can have on that island:) Couldn't sleep last nite, and started thinking about my vespa restoration... its not really spoilt but it sure does need a cosmetic face lift. Sick of Pink Colour actually... there's loads of them on the road also. I still can't settle a coluor scheme, right now its a battle between Black with Red Checked Seats and trimmings, or Pastel based Creamish Colour... another alternative is Metallic Blue... dunno why i think so much about it.. guess i still have to save up $1000 to dump it in.. and to go bangkok to get those accessories :)
