Saturday, November 3, 2001 12:51 a.m. and i bump my head against the windshield
Got an A for my sociology paper! I was so happy i couldn;t believe it. This has to be my first time getting an A since primary 1 when there was fancy stickers, stars and rubber stamps with stuff like "Great Job!" to motivate you along. I showed my mom and pop the paper to justify my frequent nite outs on week days. Went over to east coast park for my JC friends birthday BBQ. I felt totally out of place with the business students who were just taking exams... but really only pissed cos they were hogging the pit and not really cooking anything! Slow Turnover! other than that, it is a cool nite to cuddle up (with someone) or just play Mineral's "Parking Lot".

It has been a while since i gone trhough my CD collection and its such a nice feeling to lay in bed and just relax after a tiring day in school. Fell in love with Pedro The lion again. I just love the simple honesty and heartfelt lyrics of their first Ep Whole. made the day beautiful again.

Wednesday, October 31, 2001 11:12 p.m.
I simply love the weather. waking up to rainy days are just so nice. Yesterday i wore a vest and today i wore a hoodie which has been rusting away since my NZ trip in june. Hehe can look like 90s Hardcore kid in NUS ..too bad i dun own any Strife T shirt. I just wish every day would just be as cool as today... till i get back my scooter cos riding in the rain is just no fun.

Tuesday, October 30, 2001 09:40 p.m. the kway chap strikes back.
After a 3 weeks absence, the Kwap Chap stall at the junction of Pasir Panjang and Clementi Road is back. Apparently there are rumours that the police raided the shop and today, gone were the chinese girls that worked there previously.. go figure. Wel at least this round they got our order right. Watched the Mods May Day Japan VCD and am i inpsired to get a suit and haircut, as well as dress up my vespa in time for Christmas.

Sunday, October 28, 2001 11:51 p.m. music from the other room
I love sunday mornings when you wake up fresh, energetic and riding down the AYE and the sun just rises over your head (i am a morning person). But Alas, no scoot, not energetic and not fresh. Church was good though, hung out by myself at Beach Road, bought nice stuff and a MODS MAY DAY VCD, which will keep me drooling over their vintage scoots. PENSIONSTATE started recording later in teh day for our compilation! YAY! Dex and Marcus managed to Lay down the Drums and Guitar parts by today so thats pretty fast (did 2 songs). Tomorrow will have Gordon and Ted working overtime, as well as myself. I foresee a sore throat singing and many takes... but its been fun (Though i should be mugging for the 'xams)

Sunday, October 28, 2001 12:04 a.m. "Take a ride on my Vespa..i'll take you home.."
That is one thing i wouldn't be able to do in a while. Went down to the Vespa shop at Ubi to pay my deposit. D'arcy is still there, pretty much untouched yet. apparently she's 2nd in the queue and they are lots of scooters awaiting their makeover. Pleaded with the mechanic that i am a poor varsity student without a ride and he brought down the waiting time ..haha. I hope i get it in time for my birthday celebrations. Bummed around with Bryan in town.. supposed to read my notes but end up at Borders pondering over the Scootering mags... when i was about to leave, i heard familiar wasps sounds and to my delight members of the Simply Scooter Club whizzed by. Hung out with them a while and drooled over their babes.. when can i have my baby back! I dun think i can sleep tonight.

Friday, October 26, 2001 08:00 p.m. I think Tonight I'll take the long way
Went for a 3km run just. Everytime it comes to the exam period, the only way for me to keep my mind off the books is to go for runs or take long walks. Oh, i did take the long way home today. Since i dun have my vespa with me anymore and i live pretty near NUS, it was a nice 15 min to home. I like the oxygen high exercise gives me, coupled with a nice mug of coffee. I'll be set to face the battle of sociological theories (and fight them old bearded men) anytime.

Friday, October 26, 2001 04:50 p.m. *cringe*
Fell into bed and slept like a log at 9pm. For a good 11 hours and i still felt lethargic. The Library in school has been a incubator for the flu bug...aarrggh.. i think i better rest at home then to go out tonite. As the library gets more and more packed, the more i feel insecure about my preparations. I think i need to go jogging soon...
